Universities are bracing for a return of protests this term, which has already begun on campuses like Cornell. University officials are attempting to straddle the issue while facing pressure to cut off ties to Israel.
The use of the two conflicting letters was revealed by a mother and daughter who had written as constituents to Rep. Wild in support of Israel. They received not one but two letters in response.
In the pro-Israel letter, Wild said she was “outraged, devastated, and heartbroken” over the “vicious” Hamas attack. She pledged to “do everything I can as your representative to ensure Israel has the ability and capacity to restore and maintain its security and safety of all its citizens.”
In the pro-Palenstinian letter, Wild said she was “outraged, devastated, and heartbroken” over the “unspeakable tragedy continuing to unfold in Gaza.” In calling for an “immediate ceasefire,” she decried how the Israeli military “has inflicted devastation on staggering numbers of innocent Palestinian children, families, and civilians in Gaza.”
These were not the first conflicting pitches by Wild on the issue.
In March 2019, Wild told a reporter she was “one of the most pro-Israel members of Congress.” Yet, days earlier, she spoke at a fundraiser for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) alongside Marc Lamont Hill, whom CNN had fired months earlier for urging to “free Palestine from the river to the sea.”
A year later, Wild was criticized for reportedly organized a birthday fundraiser for American Friends Service Committee, a left-wing group that accuses Israel of the “root causes” of the Hamas attack and has called for “decriminalizing Hamas.”
Many have called this the “post-truth” election because many voters seem to tone out contradictions on both sides – voting on type of red pill-blue pill political basis. Candidates like Rep. Wild are counting on that blind voting pattern to carry them over for another term.
In full disclosure, I previously criticized Rep. Wild who gave a commencement address at George Washington Law School where she made a demonstrably false accusation that I adopted conflicting positions in my testimony during the impeachments of former presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.

Late to the party today. Lot of interesting comments. Strangely I see nothing inconsistent with Rep Wild’s 2 letters. This has basically been the Democratic Position for several decades and it only seems to be picking up momentum. They have gone so far out there that they literally run into themselves going in opposites directions.
We used to call this a multiple personality disorder but now known as a dissociative identity disorder. Multiple personalities in one individual. Initially made famous by first the book and then the movie “The 3 Faces of Eve”.
I believe we see this now in the Democratic Party. Multiple alternative personalities and approaches to events, often triggered by some type of trauma. (Hard to say what that trauma was but it’s possible it might be brought on by TDS).
The outlook is not good, with no real medication that is useful but long term psychiatric care and counseling may be helpful.
Ms Wild seems to manifest this to some degree in my opinion. The presidential candidate of her party may have the same issue since she seems to be making statements totally contradictory to previous statements. Definitely different from outright dementia which is characterized by eating massive amounts of ice cream and sitting on the beach for weeks at a time. So we should definitely monitor her contradictory statements and her ice cream consumption so that we might have a hint in which direction her pathology will go. You never know when an intervention will be necessary.
An excellent example of talking from both sides of one’s mouth, just another Zelig dem who demonstrates the need for term limits. Imagine, the Dems call out for term limits for seats on the SC but feel they’re above such considerations.

Whether your Democrat or Republican, isn’t obvious to you that this Election is being manipulated.
The Presidency has been reduced to a ‘Peacock’ position. Biden proved it, Harris will to, and even Trump should he be elected.
THEY have the ways to ‘handle’ the Executive Branch. WE the People is not a ‘Direct Democracy’, your Representatives both Senate and House are mere Purchasing Agents of the; K-Street, Foreign Interest, and the Defense Industrial Base.
The Vote means nothing, to Them, as They subjugate you willingly into servitude, and after all it’s what keeps all this running.
Nothings been done in the past Presidencies but move the decimal point of Fiat Debt to the right. The Planet is being taxed beyond it’s capacity to sustain life. Yet Ideologies keep moving forward with more and more is better for Us.
Madness, Human Madness. There’s No-One else to blame.
Dear Prof Turley,
There’s a difference between being ‘pro Hamas’ and ‘pro Palestine’. Ostensibly, Hamas is a ‘terrorist’ organization.
Nevertheless, while it’s always unseemly for our elected politicians to speak out of both sides of their mouths in public, being ‘pro Hamas’ and ‘pro Israel’ is not, necessarily, mutually exclusive. .. e.g. there’s plenty of evidence (anecdotal) that Bibi Netanyahu/Israel has supported and funded the Hamas organization in the past.
‘Hamas’ is not a [UN recognized] nation-state. Israel is a UN recognized nation-state. And that’s a critical distinction, imo, in determining validity of Netanyahu/Israel’s declared goal of ‘total victory’ and a ‘final solution’ to the conflict in Gaza. Hamas is not Palestine.
As of June 2024, the “State of Palestine” is “recognized as a sovereign state by 145 of the 193 member states of the United Nations. It is a non-member observer state at the United Nations since November 2012.”
The pre-ambles of ‘international law’ are clear and unambiguous. There are numerous UN General Assembly pronouncements, UNSC (Security Council) Resolutions as well as ICC indictments concerning Netenyahu/Israel’s conduct in Gaza. Refer to them.
To the extent the nation-state of Israel represents the historic Jewish world Faith, I remain both ‘pro Israel’ and ‘pro Palestine’.
*otherwise, one man’s terrorist, is another man’s freedom fighter.
I’M SICK TO DEATH OF THE ANTI-ISRAEL , ANTI- JEW PEOPLE.
IRAEL IS A SOVERIGN NATION ID POUND YOUR HEAD INTO THE SAND INTIL YOU GET IT.
IT GIVES PEOPLE ACTUAL LITERAL NIGHTMARES FROM THESE DAMNED SHROUDS.
That sounds like a Kamala Harris word salad.
*You’re going to have to speak American .. . if we’re going to live as one.
If I speak it you can bet it’s American. That’s all you’re going to get today. Salad.
That 2nd paragraph needs some work but go for closure skills.
I happen to NEED Isaac Perlman for my soul. It’s a remembrance of true beauty unlike Taylor swift in the swimsuit and knee high boots. Swift is a reminder of vulgar. I’ll take beauty over vulgarity any day.
Who is this Isaac Perlman?
*if Israel is going to be a ‘Jewish State’, they should at least have a Rabbi running the place. .. and ‘Bibi’ Netanyahu clearly does not qualify.
Re: Who is this Isaac Perlman..”. Seriously?!?!
The question I have is, was that an accurate quote? I will listen to some violin music while I wait.
If I said it, it’s accurate.
I know a ‘Itzhak’ Pearlman .. . great fiddle player!
*was hoping this Isaac dude was some sort of Rabbi .. . and if Israel is going to be a real Jewish state, they will need some good Rabbis to run the place.
“If I said it, it’s accurate.”
Quite inaccurate. Many things you said were proven wrong. A better statement is, if a statement is made by dgsnowden, one must check its accuracy.
“I know a ‘Itzhak’ Pearlman .. . great fiddle player!”
That is doubtful. You didn’t even know how to spell Perlman’s last name and his first name in the earlier response. You probably learned the correct spelling of the first name when you looked his name up to find out who he is. Nothing more is required to be said other than to ask you for a citation for that quote.
Pathetic.
Yes, you are, without a doubt.
” e.g. there’s plenty of evidence (anecdotal) that Bibi Netanyahu/Israel has supported and funded the Hamas organization in the past.
There is also anecdotal evidence to back up the anti-Semites who wrote the Protocols of Zion, which was debunked many times but still referred to by anti-Semites like yourself.
“Hamas is not Palestine.”
Finally, a true statement. Palestine never existed, but in the middle of the past century, the Jews were called Palestinians.
“The pre-ambles of ‘international law’ are clear and unambiguous. ”
International law provides the other part of the British mandate to Israel. The UN creates “laws” that are not legally binding on nation-states. You know very little about the UN. “UN General Assembly pronouncements” are not legal pronouncements.
Candidates like Rep. Wild are counting on that blind voting pattern to carry them over for another term.
Why the two letters? It really is not that complicated. Because it works.
Does anyone doubt the incumbent’s #1 job is to get reelected?
This gal is Presidential timber.
Hey, it works for Kamala. Politics is “the art of the possible” after all.
Of course they are, i.e. dang near all politicians, are going to pander to BOTH sides. They do not want to look one sided, or I am on that side and not the other. It is what they do. I do have empathy but only to a degree for the people in Gaza. Hamas are the ones who attacked Israel. Are there some Gazans who supported it? Sure. And there are others who were against it. And there are some who hate Hamas for what they have done to their people. Thing is, if the voice that opinion, Hamas comes and kills them. Point any of that out, and they are declared a bad Muslim and, again, killed.
The Free Press has several articles about Palestinians who are against the actions of Hamas, and some who have had to go into hiding for voicing that opinion.
Upstate, I work with a CPA who is a 1st generation Palestinian Muslim. He has lost 163 relatives, including brothers and sisters in Gaza. He blames Hamas and Israel equally. These two letters could have been mailed to his family members in the United States and they would have been received well. These letters reflect two faces of opinion, but when I talk with him, those are two faces they agree with.
Democrats are amoral psychos
Those letters do not contradict each other. One can easily be both pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian (but one needs to be anti-Hamas). One can also call out both sides for their brutality. While Hamas is clearly in the wrong in this conflict, that does not mean that everything Israel does is in the right. I am a strong Zionist and I care about the well being of the Palestinian people. Hamas is the enemy of all.
Why two letters, Metamucil?
Nice deflection.
U.S. Representative Susan Wild actually is a poster child for the “new” Democrat party. Actual beliefs in anything other than keeping Democrats in power is not required… in fact, it appears to be discouraged. We see so many Democrats in packed arenas cheering wildly for Harris when in her own words, she has been landing squarely on opposite sides of every issue of substance. If we look at individual Democrats, how does a Catholic support Harris when she endorses abortion up to the moment of birth? If we look at citizens of any state– pick a state– say Massachusetts — support Harris when because of the Biden/ Harris open borders policy Massachusetts has had to spend $1 billion on the care, feeding and education of illegal immigrants? How does any Jew support Harris when the Biden/ Harris administration’s response to the widespread antisemitism on and around college campuses was feckless to say the least. And how does anyone who claims to be a feminist support Democrats who are twisting Title IX so that boys who are confused by what is between their legs are given free access to women’s sports and their showers. The answer is simple and plainly obvious: do not believe in anything because for Democrats, party and power trumps everything (pun intended).
Honest, you put that so well there is little to add.
I would only note that the “new” Democratic Party is the inverse of the one from 60 years ago. Back then it was laudably anti-war, anti-censorship, and anti-corporate capture of the regulatory apparatus. Now it is pro all those things. Dems a Republicans seem to have traded places in many respects.
60 years ago but today’s democrat party does display where all the loons were hiding, no?
Vice President Kamala Hamas.
Honestlawyermostly,
Those are some very good points.
But for some of them, party before nation. Even party before themselves as in the case of MA and women.
OT: In comments on the article about Zuckerberg’s letter I made a mistake in a response to a question. I had said that judges had found on the merits that the government had likely violated the First Amendment. When asked if I meant the lower court judges I said yes. This was incomplete. In his dissenting opinion, Justice Alito, joined by Justices Thomas and Gorsuch, not only contested the court’s decision on standing but also considered the merits. The three justices agreed with the lower courts that the government had likely violated the First Amendment. So, the only justices to consider the merits found against the government.
On the merits – there is no debate. There is a massive and growing body of evidence – not just on the specifics of this case, but more broadly that starting With Obama and continuing and growing unknown to Trump during his administration and growing further in the Biden administration has been organized government efforts to censor both politically and with respect to other views at odds with the government – such as Covid.
While the Twitter files are the largest exposure – they are Far from the only damning evidence.
Turley has criticised the borad censorship regime in the EU and UK – which si in most ways worse than the US.
But there is a more fascist element in the US. Todate the EU and UK have MOSTLY targeted relatively extreme expression reasonably far from the mainstream. The exception would be their threatening people like Musk for refusing to do their bidding.
The Biden administration lawfare as well as this stupid gag orders are targeting political opponents.
In the UK as an example there are a growing body of fairly high profile people speaking out – who are doing so specifically because they KNOW they can say things ordinary people can not.
The US censorship efforts are more nascient. But they are also more fascist in nature.
“Todate the EU and UK have MOSTLY targeted relatively extreme expression reasonably far from the mainstream.”
That indicates a different, possibly superior, strategy, not a moral compass that is even a single degree more accurate. The EU/UK (I’m far from convinced that the distinction is meaningful in this case: wrt individual rights Brexit appears to be a null factor) is employing the “frog boiling” method by inuring their public to censorship by first applying it to largely unsympathetic targets, then gradually closing in on everyone else. The US powers-that-be seem to think that they are safe in going straight for the jugular. November will inform us about the correctness of that assumption.
Standing is a way the courts dispose of cases that they do not want to decide. The claim ANY standing case was decided on the merits is ludicrously stupid.
Standing, Laches, Mootness, Ripeness are all assorted legal means that a court can extricate itself from dealing with a hot potato.
The claim that a court dismissed a case on Standing AND merit is complete lunacy. A court disposes of a case for lack of standing BECAUSE it does NOT want to address merit.
All of this court created means of disposing of cases – have merit, and they are can and all constantly abused.
The claim that a State AG does not have standing to defend the rights of the citizens of their state against federal censorship is absurd.
The Murty decision was even stupider in light of the fact that essentially the same cases are headed towards the Supreme court by individuals who without any doubt have standing.
If I were to guess there was a deal struck in SCOTUS. NYS v NRA which is essentially the same issue – except in a “smaller case” where the State of NY agressively targeted the NRA was decided 9-0 with Sotomayor writing the oppinion and excoriating the State of NY for engaging in censorship.
My guess is that the justices struct a deal – they agreed to dismiss murty on standing in return form a 9-0 decision on NRA vs NYS.
The NRA decision confirms that Government has to do little more than ASK a private party to censor to violate the first amendment.
So SCOTUS spoke clearly on govenrment censorship this term.
But by dismissing Murty on Standing they avoided a high profile condemnation of the Biden administration.
That too is disturbing. I am not happy with the current court.
It is not very good at bright lines.
Murty was WRONG – the 26 states VS PA election case was Wrong – the constitution itself grants states the power to sue each other, and those lawsuits are the sole jurisdiction of the supreme court.
We are seeing the typical mess of the Roberts court – trying to manipulate decisions to get what Roberts deems as the right outcome, while at the same time not taking strong positions on constitutional principles.
Contra conservatives the ISL case was not a magic bullet to fix Election rigging by democrats.
But SCOTUS still should have decided that Federal elections are the domain of: Congress, State Legislatures, and FEDERAL courts – not state courts, and not state executives. Not because that is some miracle cure for election corruption. But because that is what the text of the constitution says.
They did Better on the 14th amendment case which was just stupid.
They got the right outcome on the 1512C case -for the wrong reason.
In a conflict between free speech and Federal law – free speech must win. It does not matter what 1512C says – if it is a weapon against Free Seech, Free Assembly, and Petitioning government – 1512C must fall – not because of the ambiguity of “otherwise”
They similarly got the immunity case wrong. The correct constitutional answer is that a president is immune with respect to actions while president until the house impeaches and the senate removes. Nothing in the constitution discusses the courts determining what acts of a president are official and which ones are not. The immunity decision fit into Roberts and conservatives need to put a leash on Democratic lawfare – while at the same time constituting a huge power grab by the courts.
Dobbs was also wrongly decided.
The right decision would have been there is no constitutional right to abortion – that claim has always been ludicrously stupid. There is no right to anything that requires 3rd parties to act.
But there is a right to control of your own body.
It has always been an anomaly of Supreme court decisions that those decisions on Reproduction have focused on the right to privacy – which is a very real right but which is NOT the strongest basis for decisions like abortion, Rather than the right to control your own body.
There is a reason Why – Buck V. Bell one of the most heinous of supreme court decisions – up there with Dread Scott, is STILL good law.
Actually accepting the right to control your own body would have put abortion and contraception decisions on a firm foundation, but it also would have interfered with forced vaccinations.
The Supreme court at the moment has the oportunity to restore sanity to our politics. But to do so it must speak strongly and clearly.
It MUST speak for election integrity – because when supermajorities of people do not trust our elections – government legitimacy is weakened.
We are teetering on the dangerous situation where government has power – because governmnet has power.
Rather than government has power because it has the trust and consent of the governed.
Murty would have been an excellent oportunity to speak for free speech – so would Fischer – the court skipped drawing a line in both and settled for getting an outcome rather than establishing with bright lines the limits of government.
“It MUST speak for election integrity – because when supermajorities of people do not trust our elections – government legitimacy is weakened. ”
I regard distrust of the power and good faith of government by the majority of the people to be justified, warranted, and constructive; no matter how closely that government might be adhering to its defined responsibilities, powers, and limitations. That attitude is the only dynamic that will ever even potentially curb the universal tendency of government authorities to assume ever increasing power, until they have it all, and the citizens have none. It is the employees of the government who should be perpetually concerned about what the future might hold for them, not the citizens whom those employees regard as subjects.
I attended the law school graduation where Wild addressed the graduating class. Her message to the new lawyers was “Do what you know is right and let the law catch up to you” meaning bend the law as you see fit. She’s a real Wild one.
That is a common approach of those on the left.
It is literally the rule of man, not law. And it is incredibly dangerous.
Every single bloody mess in modern history is the consequence of people doing what they think is right,
with the law going to h311 and inevitably power seeking despots gaining control.
If it is a democrat, and they are speaking/writing, then we can safely assume that they are lying. The problem with lying is that you eventually get caught by people of intelligence whereas those barely above the low water mark of IQs will always vote democrat. The prog/left party is hoping that they have effectively dumbed down enough people through our welfare and public schools systems to keep them in office for eternity.
Poor Turley, it’s only a matter of time before he brings up Hunter…….Or how unfair it is to have Trump held accountable, for anything……..
Poor Fishstick, cannot comment on anything but his TDS, and attacks on the good professor.
fish do not have wings but I imagine that you must identify as a fish with wings just because you feel that way – typical prog/left tool, letting his feeling rule his brain rather than using logic and facts (oh wait, that combination of logic and facts has proven fatal to all prog/left tools) – sorry – jut go about your TDS delusions and let the adults in the room make the decisions.
It’s widely known that the people with TDS are the ones who still support a convicted felon. Who have no problem with Trump picking Putin’s word over his own hand-picked national security team. Who tried on multiple fronts to over turn an election that he lost, and that can be proven beyond a shadow of doubt.
When you come up with something Trump has actually done that he should be accountable for – then maybe you will get some traction.
Hunter Biden sold out the country to hostile foreign interests for money.
It is NOT that he was lobbying the US govenrment for hostile foreign interests – that is legal.
It is that the Vice President of the United states was a key part of his scheme.
No one would have given Hunter a dime if Joe was not invovlved.
The real crime we see right now is that DOJ has “gotten” Hunter for a relatively minor gun crime – that is still 10,000 times more significant than your claims against Trump, and is now going after him for a small part of the massive tax evasion he engaged in.
While it will not touch the most serious offense of selling the power of the federal govenrment to the highest bidder.
In the Bragg/merchan case the govenrment did not claim much less put evidence on that taxes owed were not paid.
That failure required the case to be dismissed at the start.
The law has NEVER required private individuals or businesses to keep private business records in a specific way.
That is barred by the 5th amendment. The government has jurisdiction ONLY over Records that you are legally required to provide to the government.
Such as your tax return.
The Enmoron case violates the 7th amendment right to a jury trial for all cases involving value of significance.
Enmoron and his lunatic court only had jurisdiction over the case in NYS law because the court was BARRED from imposing consequential awards.
In BOTH cases – Blacks, Common law, and the US surpeme court has found that Fraud is a property crime (or slightly more broardly, that it requires the loss or attempt to obtain something of actual value). That you can not bring a fraud case based on hurt feelings, or oportunities you think you have lost, or outcomes you think were undesirable.
No one suffered an actual loss in either case. No one could have suffered an actual loss in either case.
The cases never should have reached a courtroom.
Hunter Conversely committed actual and easy to understand crimes. He lied in a sworn statement in order to obtain a gun and then in his drug addled state behaved recklessly with it – which was the entire purpose of barring drug addicts from buying guns in the first place.
He willfully lied to the IRS in his tax returns – not to himself in his personal diaries, and evaded substantial taxes. That is ACTUAL FRAUD.
Most everyone knows Hunter will be pardoned.
While Trump must win the presidency to end the illegal lawfare against him that happened specifically because he chose to run for president again.
Reality does not bother you does it?
“ Hunter Biden sold out the country to hostile foreign interests for money.
It is NOT that he was lobbying the US govenrment for hostile foreign interests – that is legal.
It is that the Vice President of the United states was a key part of his scheme.”
The impeachment inquiry did not show Joe Biden was part of the scheme. They could not provide any proof except only allegations.
“ No one would have given Hunter a dime if Joe was not invovlved.”
He wasn’t involved. He was given money purely because of his association to biden as a father. It’s literaly no different than Jarod Kushner or Ivanka Trump getting sweet deals because their father was president Trump. Neither of those is illegal. You can criticize the immorality, but we all know your immorality is highly selective.
“ While it will not touch the most serious offense of selling the power of the federal govenrment to the highest bidder.”
What did he sell? What was exchanged? You have no evidence to show what was exchanged for the alleged money that is still not proven to have exchanged hands. What was the crime? Seriously, what was it?
“ In BOTH cases – Blacks, Common law, and the US surpeme court has found that Fraud is a property crime (or slightly more broardly, that it requires the loss or attempt to obtain something of actual value). That you can not bring a fraud case based on hurt feelings, or oportunities you think you have lost, or outcomes you think were undesirable.
No one suffered an actual loss in either case. No one could have suffered an actual loss in either case.
The cases never should have reached a courtroom.”
You’re still conflating federal law with NY state law. NY state law defines fraud differently. They are NOT obligated to follow federal law. Trump was charged under NY state law. Not federal law. You don’t understand how the law works. Trump was found guilty in state court by a jury and convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records…under NY state law.
“ Hunter Conversely committed actual and easy to understand crimes. He lied in a sworn statement in order to obtain a gun and then in his drug addled state behaved recklessly with it – which was the entire purpose of barring drug addicts from buying guns in the first place.”
Not according to SCOTUS. Hunter was not under the influence when he bought his gun. He was perfectly sober. SCOTUS has already determined that simply being an addict should not be a prohibition from exercising his 2nd amendment right to bear arms.
“ While Trump must win the presidency to end the illegal lawfare against him that happened specifically because he chose to run for president again.”
No, he was sued and charged and found guilty because he committed a crime and broke the law. “Lawfare” is not illegal. Now that he is a convicted felon after being found guilty by a jury as the law requires he is perfectly allowed to appeal the decision IF, and that is a big if, the judge committed a serious error. That does not seem to be the case.
The impeachment inquiry did not show Joe Biden was part of the scheme.

I am a useful idiot, and I insist yet again that the turtle got on the fencepost all on his own
—-Svelaz George
FishWings is a stupid, brainwashed, useful idiot of the Left. The utter stupidity of people like FishWings is the ONLY reason the Democrat party is still hanging on for dear life. Stupid people are the Democrat base. It’s all they’ve got. Stupid, brainwashed idiots, clapping like trained seals.
My view is that when the left accomplished many of its well-intentioned and I think valuable goals by the 1960s and 1970s, it began to be taken over by its more radical elements. When historically oppressed people gain equal rights, some of them aren’t satisfied with equal, and want to be the oppressors. It has increasingly taken over our country to the point where so many of our institutions are dominated not just by the left, but the radical left. Education, media, the military, business, and so forth. Our country is sick, physically, mentally and culturally, and so my D friends, otherwise nice, normal, intelligent people, have tethered themselves to a party and movement which has lost any sense of fairness, justice, rationality and has no sense of shame. Rep. Wild certainly fits that description, but her constituents won’t likely care. That’s why they can support Biden and now Harris, despite their almost insatiable lies and determination to drive our country to a one party, totalitarian state. Remember, even Hitler took power b/c even people who didn’t like him or Nazis greatly underestimated them. I am not underestimating the left now. Their leaders will do anything to win power, and every action they take shows it. That doesn’t mean I think the D ranks are filled with fascists. But they are, through media control, willing to support them, in their delusions and willful ignorance. Some Rs too.
Your projection is off the charts. Your trying to sound nice about your preconceived perception of democrats only makes your projection worse.
Fish, every single day, we have to witness your preconceived perceptions of Turley’s and others’ valid comments. And with insulting, crude, and demeaning language, adding upvotes to anyone who criticizes them. You fool no one. As they say, dirty pot meets klean kettle.
(p.s. I can handle the upvotes given to anyone who criticizes me and all the others whose SUBSTANTIVE comments make me think and examine my own.)
As they say, dirty pot meets klean kettle.
Calling Fishbreath a pot is really offensive to our dutch oven – that we use to make some fabulous paella, arroz con pollo, Cuban fricase de pollo, and other great dishes.

We can’t have any of that introspection and examination of conscience going on around here, lin. That would make the hearts and heads of Democrats explode like a Molotov cocktail
Estovir,
We do a few different variations on paella in our dutch oven. Gotta have saffron, chorizo. I am the only one who likes chicken thighs though. Bummer.
Add a bottle of Belgian style wheat beer like Blue Moon, to the mix…marvelous taste.
Lin,
It is his mental condition known as TDS. He displays it daily. So fevered and twisted it is all consuming. Must be a sad little life.
No pprojection involved – people judge you by your words and actions – and they do not like what they see.

And yet she inflicts pain & suffering on Jews while defending Hamas as the true victims. She is a so called “Jew” no less. These alleged “Jews” are as much of a millstone as Catholics like Joseph Biden, Nancy Pelosi, et al.
Democrats do nothing but cause pain & suffering to others. That and lie
Why can’t both ketters be true at the same time. One can be appalled at the actions of Hamas and agree with Israel’s right to take action to defend itself and also be upset about Israel going too far in killing innocent civilians in Gaza and the West Bank. I presume everyone believes babies are innocent? Everyone who objects to what Israel is doing isn’t automatically pro-Hamas or in favor of wiping out Israel. Netanyahu has gone too far and it isn’t anti-Israel to say so. Many in Israel are saying so.
Then why don’t you tell Hamas to remove their cowardly butts away from schools and hospitals and fight like men insred of hiding under the skirts of innocent women and children to protect themselves. There are NOT 2 sides to this issue.
“There are NOT 2 sides to this issue.”
The only way you can’t see two sides is to place no value on the lives of innocent children.
Enigma, you need not “place no value” on the death of women and children. What you need to do is get your facts right and blame those deaths on the terrorists.
Who elected :Hamas?
Biden?
You seem to think its not opposing views.
Then put it all in one letter, spastic.
You say the dumbest shit, in your efforts to defend the indefensible.
It’s actually quite defensible. Given your reading comprehension problem it’s not hard to see why you have a hard time grasping the concept both letters being true. You require simpler wording and a 5th grade context. That’s not possible with this issue. Now you will respond with an insult and another illiterate attempt at pointing out the “obvious”.
“Now you will respond with an insult”
Irony and self awareness definitely not your strong suit. They require triple digit IQ.
Svelaz demonstrates his ignorance and inability to comprehend AGAIN. LOW LOW IQ George.
As I said, if both are true, and not contradictory, why the need for 2 letters? I know why. Enema-in-black knows why. And even your stupid ass knows why. Keep twirling dum dum.
Wait for it…..Spastic idiot.
Many in Israel are saying so.</i

I’ll have those N******** voting Democratic for 200 years
– Lyndon B. Johnson
I must have touched a nerve somewhere. I’ll be back when the ignorance dies down.
My comment has received 4 votes, and counting, so yes, it appears it hit a nerve.
You on the other hand are likely too busy to troll today and next week. You are likely helping your bruthas in your locale, educating them about Monkey Pox, and tending to their medical treatment needs. Monkey Pox affects blacks more than any other demographic. How do you do it, not-so-enigmaone, give of yourself so effortlessly, so tirelessly for others in your region and yet manage to keep your hatred going for mankind?

Note: the above article is written in science language, so be forewarned.
Enigma, your attitude is the bane of black people in the US, Sudan and elsewhere. You promote ignorance and a new Democrat plantation for blacks that deprives them of a good life unless they are among the blacks in the Democrat Party that prey on their own.
Yes, I admit, STUPIDITY grates on my nerves.
Goodbye and good riddance.
Sure…let’s see those cemeteries filled to the brim with dead innocent civilians in Gaza and the West Bank.
What? No pics?
J
Enigma , that was my thinking as well. Rep. Wild recognized the complexity of the issue and addressed them both correctly. Turley in his usual disingenuous method portrayed the letters as if she was being two-faced about the situation. I suspect it’s more about her past criticism of Turley and we know how Turley keeps a subdued grudge on those who openly criticize him, like Senator Swalwell.
Israel is not without fault and neither is Hamas or the Palestinians. But it seems any criticism of Israel, no matter how valid it’s always labeled as anti-Semitic.
“Turley in his usual disingenuous method portrayed the letters as if she was being two-faced about the situation.”
@George-Svelaz: Wild was being two faced, but you, as a two-faced individual don’t notice.
No she wasn’t. Your addled brain can’t grasp the concept that both letters can be true. You’re not smart enough to even understand. You need simple and easy to grasp any concept beyond 5th grade level. Perhaps you should stick to that. It would make you look smarter and more coherent.
Why 12 letters you idiot? Thats the point.
Put it all in one letter if its all true.
God, you’re dumb.
*2, not 12
If you can’t get the point then you are clearly not making a real effort to understand the point. Really think about it.
Who are you addressing? You make no sense.
the point was her duplicity in using TWO letters, when one would suffice.
Next?
“Put it all in one letter…”
An excellent response and glad I saw it.
The good English language permits us to transport the concept of two different ideas IN ONE COMMUNICATIVE VEHICLE, with words/clauses like, “Conversely, …” or “On the other hand..” or even, “But….”
JT is merely pointing out, side by side, the use of separate and dueling platitudes for purposes of political pandering, leaving the reader to consider, weigh, and decide on them. It is actually the good professor, not Rep. Wild, who is doing it correctly
(meant to say that it is JT who is putting the two side by side for the reader to consider. Apologies for poor sentence structure)
Not one of these libturds has answered my question yet. They can’t.
All they can do is obfuscate about whether she can hold both views at once.
So, they are either low IQ, and don’t understand Turley’s point (which was never about whether what she said in each letter was fvcking true or not), or they purposely engaged in their typical low IQ gaslighting, which apparently works in their sewing circles.
That turd don’t float here.
EVERY person on this comment board today KNOWS why she had TWO letters.
And why does she have two letters?
OK, this idiot doesn’t^^^^^
He is characterizing it as a two-faced attempt by Rep. Wild. Which is clearly not the case to those smart enough to figure it out themselves. But Turley likes to pander to the gullible and easily led to believe it’s about something else. Turley’s target audience is gullible MAGA’s
George, speaking of pandering to the gullible, I noticed that you attempted to describe the Arlington incident as violating the Hatch Act, –which of course, addresses “partisan political activity” conduct by GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES. Perhaps your own reading comprehension and ability to put things in context interfered with this?
I corrected the spastic Svelaz on that. He will claim thats not what he meant, and you have reading comprehension issues LMAO.
What do you want from a 5 minute internet search? He copied and pasted that from an article from Axios.
He didn’t even bother to read the article. And apparently has NO CLUE what the Hatch Act is.
Svelaz thinks the Hatch Act is a regulation regarding chicken farming.
Give Svelaz 30 seconds, he’ll go learn everything about the Hatch Act from Vox or Jimmy Fallon.
Your pathetic attempts at insults are hurting me so bad! Do stop! Oh please stop!
Then why two letters, Svelass??
YOU are characterizing it in your usual inability to answer a simple question.
For someone who has ALL the answers, you have yet to answer a single question.
It is obviously 2 faced. If it were not, there would be only one letter. You know it. But you’d rather look like a tool because you have zero self respect.
Svelaz, insulting my intelligence doesn’t work because I have proven myself while you prove to be an idiot.
S. Meyer, sadly there is no intelligence to insult. That’s the problem.
Georgie, maybe S. Meyer is violating the Hatch Act. Better look it up on wiki!
@ George/Svelaz: Time to put up or shut up. Let us see who the dope is.
When the Ottoman Empire broke up, portions of the Middle East were divided into Mandates. Some of the major countries of the time each got a piece of land, which, under specific laws, was to be divided up to become nation-states. That is how many of the countries were created and the boundaries settled. Therefore, each country created worked under the same international rules.
What happened to the British Mandate? You can now demonstrate whether you have knowledge or not. I have already shared a lot of knowledge here and before.
If you don’t respond, you define who and what you are.
Svelaz George cannot respond to anything involving fact. He runs away like the coward he is.
Svelaz plagiarizes and uses AI to respond. A brain-dead person has to do this when he interacts with ordinary people.
Enigma, Such BS. It shows you know very little about present affairs. Why don’t you start looking at Sudan, where genocide is actually occurring? Is that because you ask the ones killing what is happening, and they respond with nothing? You rely on terrorists for your comments and don’t recognize that the terrorists have lied about numbers for years, and you believed them every time.
Learn that men who are launching missiles against Israel and men who fire at Israeli soldiers are not children. That shouldn’t be difficult to understand, but you have problems with facts.
Learn women and children killed when used as shields are not caused by Israelis protecting themselves. Hamas is the killer of civilians.
Learn that Hamas fires thousands of rockets to kill Israeli civilians, but a substantial portion of those rockets end up landing in Gaza, killing Gazan women and children. I don’t know if you were one of those who complained about Israel when the hospital parking lot was destroyed by a misfired Hamas rocket, and the terrorists blamed it on Israel. Do you remember the terrorist numbers of dead, initially at around 500? It seems no one died, but you sucked that number down as you have with all others,
S. Meyer, it shows he has a better grasp of the issue than you do. Most posters here have real reading comprehension issues.
“ Why don’t you start looking at Sudan, where genocide is actually occurring? ”
Really? So why isn’t Israel calling genocide? They should be the first to condemn any form of genocide. They didn’t do it when it was happening in Rwanda years ago. Israel only cares about itself and its status as a perpetual “victim” nation. They love to exploit their past to gain sympathy from others while abusing it to oppress those they will freely treat as they were treated during WWII. The irony is thick and rank with hypocrisy.
Now, does that excuse what Hamas did. Absolutely not. It also does not mean any criticism of Israel is automatically support for Hamas. Israel relies on that perception to get away with the large “collateral” damage of civilians as an excuse to inflict harm on them. They often blame Hamas when they are deliberately indifferent to the population. That is why they are bombing schools and hospitals. They don’t care about civilian casualties. Not the zealots in the Israeli government with an agenda to deliberately displace as many Palestinians as they can before we seriously do something about it. Even every day Israelites don’t buy the BS from Netanyahu.
This problem is as much as Israel’s fault as it is of Hamas. But Israel has bigger burden of de-escalating the situation. Netanyahu does not want any de-escalation. He wants to push Palestinians out to sea as much as he possibly can.
Every time the reading disabled George can’t make a valid point, or get off of the Stupidity Carousel, he blames it on comprehension. LMAO
Pretty much EVERYONE here is better educated than you, Svelaz. It might be time to consider that it’s YOU that can’t comprehend.
Or just keep looking like a pathetic spastic. Your choice. I rather enjoy watching it.
“ Every time the reading disabled George can’t make a valid point, or get off of the Stupidity Carousel, he blames it on comprehension.”
Why are you projecting your shortfalls on others?
You don’t see me making a valid point because you do have reading comprehension problems. You’re trapped in a vicious circular logic trap of your own making.
Plus, you still offer nothing of substance. You just live for the insults and denigration. That’s pretty sad.
Spastic Svelaz makes no valid point in the above post but projects that on me.
Bwahahahahahahaha
“He wants to push Palestinians out to sea as much as he possibly can.”
George loves to speak for other people, because he’s never had a thought of his own. I can show 200 instances in the last few months of Geworge claiming to know what someone else wants or thinks. Half a dozen times in todays threads alone.
BTW, they are Israeli you idiot. I swear I think you look stupid on purpose.
“ BTW, they are Israeli you idiot.”
You’re saying Palestinians living in Gaza are Israeli? They are not Israeli citizens. So how are they Israeli?
BTW, S. Meyer, the fifth grader loves to speak for other people. He can even read minds.
LMAO reading comprehension poor Svelaz.
“BTW, S. Meyer, the fifth grader (Svelaz-George) loves to speak for other people. He can even read minds.”
I say again, douche. They are Israeli. You figure out who I’m talking about, genius. You’re the moron that called them something else.
Svelaz, you are too stupid. There is no ethnic group known as Palestinians. In mid of the last century, the Jews of Israel were known as the Palestinians. World politics intervened, and suddenly, those Arabs living in the area were called Palestinians despite the fact that ethnically, many were Egyptian and North African.
Some that you would call Palestinians are Israeli citizens, and some are in the Knesset and have been on the Supreme Court.
You can check out this information because it is factual, but you are too stupid to do so.
“S. Meyer, it shows he has a better grasp of the issue than you do. ”
But, Svelaz, the facts are in my favor. Most are proven and documented. Yours and Enigmas are silly ideas fed by incompetents to incompetents.
“Israel calling genocide? They should be the first to condemn any form of genocide.”
They did, but you are too uninformed and stupid to notice. They even talked about the Sudanese genocide at the UN. You are too stupid to discuss anything with.
Though Israel is a victim, you claim they claim it when they don’t. Israel stands tall, facing enemies that are numerous and cover the Mideast and elsewhere where Israel is but a speck of land without oil. You are nothing but stupid. I would call you an anti-Semite, but you are too silly for that call to be made.
“That is why they are bombing schools and hospitals. ”
Israel doesn’t bomb hospitals and schools. That is proven done by Hamas rockets.
“an agenda to deliberately displace as many Palestinians as they can before we seriously do something about it. ”
Displacing Palestinians was not considered until Oct.7, when 1,200 peaceful Israelis were murdered, raped, and beheaded, some before death and some after. The Palestinian actions were barbaric.
Gazans were given control of Gaza by Israel in 2005, and Hamas took control in 2006. Shortly after that, Hamas attacked Israel, continuously trying to kill civilians in Israel. You don’t seem to mention any of that. Too stupid?
Israel always wanted peace and gave up land for peace, including Gaza, but that doesn’t work with their neighbors. Why don’t you try providing facts instead of acting like a brainless barbarian?
Based on your history on this blog, you would be one of the first for Hamas to throw off the roof.
S. Meyer, as always you make no sense at all.
“ Israel calling genocide? They should be the first to condemn any form of genocide.”
They did, but you are too uninformed and stupid to notice. They even talked about the Sudanese genocide at the UN. You are too stupid to discuss anything with.”
So where’s your citation?
Israel doesn’t bomb hospitals and schools. That is proven done by Hamas rockets.“
“ Israel’s military has struck a school near Deir al-Balah, a city in central Gaza, killing at least 30 Palestinians and injuring more than 100.”
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c1e5y8ny1l4o.amp
“ According to data compiled by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), up to July 6, 564 schools in the Gaza Strip have been directly hit or damaged by Israeli attacks. In North Gaza, 95 school buildings have been damaged or destroyed. In Gaza City, 208 school buildings have been damaged or directly hit.”
https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2024/8/14/israels-intensifying-attacks-on-gaza-schools
“ Israeli forces struck the Indonesian Hospital multiple times between October 7 and October 28, killing at least two civilians. The International Eye Care Center was struck repeatedly and completely destroyed after a strike on October 10 or 11. Strikes hit the compound and vicinity of the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital on October 30 and 31. Damage to the hospital as well as a lack of fuel for hospital generators resulted in its closure on November 1. Repeated Israeli strikes damaged the al-Quds Hospital and injured a man and child out front. Israeli forces on several occasions struck well-marked ambulances, killing and wounding at least a dozen people in one incident on November 3, including children, outside al-Shifa hospital.”
You clearly don’t do research.
“ Gazans were given control of Gaza by Israel in 2005, and Hamas took control in 2006. Shortly after that, Hamas attacked Israel, continuously trying to kill civilians in Israel. You don’t seem to mention any of that.”
Gazans never had control of Gaza. The Israelis controlled everything. Access to water, fuel, building materials, access to the sea. (Restricted to just 3 miles off shore), Access to food and complete control over the airspace over Gaza. They also controlled travel outside Gaza. Palestinians severely restricted from traveling abroad.
That’s not having freedom or liberty at all.
“ Israel always wanted peace and gave up land for peace, including Gaza, but that doesn’t work with their neighbors.”
No, they barely gave up land for peace. Gaza is not strategically important to Israel. They left Gaza because it was increasingly difficult to defend the Jewish settlements there. The Israelis are still building and expanding settlements in the West Bank. They WANT to push out the Palestinians from their land and they are using the Gaza war as an excuse to push out as many as they can under the pretext of rooting out terrorists.
It’s obvious you have no idea what you are talking about. Stick to 5th grade issues.
“Stick to 5th grade issues.”
There’s that ass wipe Svelaz again, resorting to nothing but insulting.
He’s just jealous that he’s no good at it.
For the idiot George, I believe he is talking about your use of the ancient term “Israelites”.
That does make you sound rather ignorant.
