In my book, The Indispensable Right, I discuss how an enforced orthodoxy has replaced free speech and intellectual diversity in higher education. As suggested in prior columns, the intolerance for opposing views will only increase after the election. Democratic Rep. Seth Moulton (Mass.) has already learned that lesson after suggesting the need for greater diversity of opinion in the party and the reconsideration of issues like transgender athletic policies. The response was fast and furious, including from a department head at Tufts University.
Many of us have been writing about that intolerance for years, but while belated, it is good to see a Democratic member acknowledging the problem. It took the loss of both houses of Congress, the White House, and the popular vote, but the belated recognition from long-silent Democrats is a welcomed sign.
After the election losses, Moulton told The New York Times that it was time for greater reflection within the party, including on the issue of transgender policies: “I have two little girls, I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete.” He later added in a WBZ-TV interview that “this is an example of a contentious issue that we have to be willing to take on as a Democratic Party . . . we’re losing on issues like this.”
Democratic politicians and pundits immediately confirmed his criticism with a signature flash mob pile-on. Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey denounced Moulton for “playing politics” with the lives of transgender citizens.
Former staffers and interns demanded the usual public confession and apology from a dissenter. One top aide resigned rather than work with Moulton.Steve Kerrigan, Chair of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, expressed outrage and declared “these comments do not represent the broad view of our Party.”That broad view clearly does not include dissenting viewpoints.
This is clearly a debate that triggers intense feelings, including how it is discussed. The Tufts controversy follows a CNN contributor being chastised on air as a bigot and “transphobe” after he also raised objections on the issue by referring to “boys” playing girl sports. CNN commentator Shermichael Singleton rephrased his comments after the heated objections from other guests.
At Tufts University, the chair of the political science department, David Art, went with the “no soup for you” option for Moulton. Art declared that Moulton would be cut off from student internships in the future due to his statements. While refusing to confirm statements made about Moulton to the faculty, he reportedly told the Boston Globe that Tufts would not facilitate such internships, even if Moulton and the students wanted them.
The Globe described Art as “evasive” but quoted him as saying, “I definitely said other things in addition to that.”
Moulton struck out at Tufts, saying that the move is “frightening [and] sounds like China.” Once again, it would have been good if Moulton had shown a modicum of concern over the last decade as the mob was running professors out of universities or canceling events.
However, allies are hard to find in the Democratic party.
I understand objections to how these athletes are referenced. Those objections can be made in the course of a discussion without leveling charges or sanctions against those with opposing views.
Tufts eventually countermanded the policy of the political science department and wrote on X that “we have not–and will not–limit internship opportunities with his office.”
There was, however, one thing missing from the Tufts statement. There was no indication that Art or his department would face any repercussions or review for announcing a type of political litmus test for internships. It suggested that any members taking the same position would also be barred from internships. It was a direct attack on free speech and diversity of viewpoints, but the university simply responded by saying that there is “nothing to see here.”
While Professor Art clearly consulted with colleagues, it is not clear if conveying the views of his department in seeking to sanction Moulton. The assumption is that others in the department supported his position. It is a familiar pattern for those of us who have challenged this orthodoxy for years. Academics enforce a group-think culture that allows for little challenge or criticism.
That is only likely to increase after this election. There is no evidence any real effort to restore a diversity of viewpoints or tolerance on faculties. The mistake made at Tufts was to be so open about it. However, that only demonstrates the level of anger within academia at the results of the election.
The academy can then return to its previous lock-stepped orthodoxy. Indeed, the Tufts Political Science Department was spotted this week heading to another faculty meeting:

Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real mental illness and it’s causing many people to self-sabotage and lose their jobs. It seems like pretty much every day we have another example. Here, a special ed teacher in Connecticut resigned after threatening to murder Trump voters:
https://www.foxnews.com/us/special-education-teacher-resigns-apologizes-viral-video-threatening-trump-voters-sparks-backlash
There is no similar phenomenon on the right. After Biden won there was not a stream of people taking to social media and threatening to kill Biden voters (nor did anyone try to assassinate Biden), nor were there any FEMA managers who lost their job for telling people not to provide relief to homes with Biden signs, and so on. Since it is clearly not in anyone’s interests to lose their job, it must be that these people have a compulsion to act in a way likely to get themselves fired. That kind of compulsion reflects an underlying mental illness.
* It could be the effect of vices. There are unrecognized vices, as well. It’s also the effect of emotionalism. An appeal was made to the emotional center and not the rational. It could be prolonged humiliation. There are reasons people become ill. Prolonged deprivation or fear can cause illnesses. Look at the extreme fear of reproduction.
It is very serious as people consider censorship regarding lies or violence in media. This woman is terrified.
Quite right. We were all upset and leery of the votes that appeared out of thin air in the middle of the night, but from what I recall, no one went bonkers like we’re seeing on the left now. As I wrote elsewhere in the comments, we are seeing a bit of what would have been the norm had Harris and Walz been given the reins of power, particularly if the Senate had been held by the left.
If they weren’t mentally and/or emotionally ill they wouldn’t be Democrats. It’s the Party of Sickness and Victims, it defines them.
ll”Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real mental illness and it’s causing many people to self-sabotage and lose their jobs.”
Frankly, I look forward to seeing those imbeciles wielding tin cups and sleeping on the streets. Maybe that will get some of them to come to their senses. If not, oh well…
* Oh well? They are presumably Americans? The constitution requires a system that works for everyone? There is no , oh well. A rational discussion is impossible because of political correctness.
I totally agree with the recent cabinet nominations. I also love seeing Joe Biden smiling. He may be in active decline, but he learned a thing or two over the past 50 years of Washington experience. I think he deliberately submarined the efforts of those who forced him out. I bet he feels relieved.
Excellent choice of cabinet nominees. The process is interesting to watch.
E.M., people are noticing how delighted he seems with Trump having won. And who can blame him after what his own party did to him? The one person most likely to be weeping and gnashing his teeth right now is Obama, and that makes ME very happy 😊
* There’s some doubt. A requirement is to have actual emotion about something. Sociopaths feel nothing. He might be amused.
It was Biden’s form of Honkyization revenge in response to the Obama era attempt to fundamentally change the Nation by stabbing him in the back.
Funny how the Jewish press is now suddenly concerned about anti-semitism within Trump’s cabinet picks.
Meanwhile Jews gave Democrats and Kamala Harris / Tim Walz a pass for the November election.

Many of us have been writing about that intolerance for years, but while belated, it is good to see a Democratic member acknowledging the problem.
Jews need to start having a conversation amongst themselves about acknowleding their own problem of who is an authentic Jew. I’ve worked with some truly towering Orthodox Jewish physicians (e.g. Mt Sinai Medial Center in Miami Beach) Their spouses were breathtaking women of Faith. What passes for Jews in America today…. not so much
Republican efforts targeting Harris’s record on Israel, antisemitism failed, survey says
“Kamala Harris won the Jewish vote 71 to 26% in the 2024 election, reflecting the traditional levels of support that Jewish voters have given Democratic candidates for President and Congress over the past decade,” GBAO’s survey analysis said. Harris overwhelmingly won the Jewish vote with all groups except for Orthodox Jews.
https://www.jpost.com/us-elections/article-828097
Trump doesn’t include Jews while thanking a ‘historic coalition’ for his election
https://www.jpost.com/us-elections/article-827932
You’re right that it’s about American Jews. Israeli Jews were 76% in favor of Trump, and their news anchors celebrated on air when he won, saying “God bless America.” Israeli Jews don’t have the luxury to ignore reality. They live in red-pill world rather than la la land.
Oldman, we should remember that someone is considered Jewish if born to a Jewish mother, even if the family isn’t religiously observant. For instance, a typical left-leaning Jew might vote against Trump, irrespective of religious identity.
If you visit a Reform or Conservative synagogue, you’ll likely find a majority favoring Harris. In contrast, most attendees of Chabad or Orthodox synagogues supported Trump. Interestingly, many at Chabad aren’t deeply religious but maintain a strong cultural affinity for Judaism.
Polling is nuanced here; national samples can be misleading. Sample on Manhattan’s West Side, and you’ll find a majority leaning toward Harris, while the East Side tends to be more conservative. But can these samples capture the truth?
Estovir studies exit polls, but these often obscure actual trends. Many Jewish Trump supporters won’t disclose their vote, making it challenging to gauge true sentiments. Poll interpretation requires understanding statistics, selection bias, and other complexities, especially given that polls often lean slightly left.
To get an accurate sense of Jewish voters’ preferences in this election, I’d conduct indirect interviews with Reform and Conservative Jews to uncover their true views.
S Meyer, Good points all around. I can relate to what you said from my own childhood.
“Jews need to start having a conversation amongst themselves about acknowleding their own problem of who is an authentic Jew.”
Estovir, that question was answered a long time ago. If the mother is Jewish, the child is Jewish. The answer is in the Torah, Mishnah and elsewhere. The State of Israel, Chabad, and reform, conservative and orthodox synagogues agree. The differences have to do with conversions. Jews can be of any color or race.
You lack a fundamental understanding of Judaism and what it means to be Jewish. Is a devout Jew better than one who is not devout? You might think he is, but in reality, he is not. I associate with those who can fluently read from the Torah and those who do not know the Hebrew alphabet, yet all are good Jews. Some might disagree, but I would challenge them to read the writings of many past Rabbis and scholars.
“Harris overwhelmingly won the Jewish vote with all groups except for Orthodox Jews.”
Despite the source’s prestige, that sentence needs to be corrected.
Estovir, I enjoy and agree with many (actually most)of your comments, but please don’t get yourself into the position of telling Jews, American or any other, about what is “an authentic Jew”. Are there authentic Catholics, Muslims, Hindi or any other religious group that needs to be authenticated to your liking?
I have trouble understanding why Jews vote so overwhelmingly liberal/Democrat, but that does not make Jews not authentic, it just makes them historically liberal due to the (mistaken) belief that liberals are more enlightened and therefore less likely to be bigoted. Recent actions by Democrats proves this to be untrue and eventually the majority of Jews will vote accordingly.
Are there authentic Catholics, Muslims, Hindi or any other religious group that needs to be authenticated to your liking?
red herring. Yours is the typical conservative defense mechanism: relativism and self-referrentialism. It’s precisely why America has lost its Christian identity. Conservatives love to wrap themselves in their “conservative” principles, all made up on the fly. There is nothing conservative or liberal about being a Catholic. If you were Catholic you wouldnt have made such a stupid statement. Catholics, at a minimum, attend Sunday Mass weekly and receive the Sacrament of Confession once per year. Minimum. It’s in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which I’m certain you have a copy by your bed.
Anyone who calls themselves Christian has 2 metrics to meet:
1. love the Lord with all of your heart, mind and soul
2. love your neighbor as yourself
If a Christian is not engaged in accompanying, visiting, tending to the poor, sick, hungry, immigrant, prisoner, etc, in some direct, one-to-one fashion, then they’re not a Christian. Consult the Bible and/or the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
This really isn’t that difficult. Frankly I think most Americans are going to hell, if there is any room in hell since cafeteria Catholics will take up most of the room. I will likely be there as well. So there ya go.
Oh, I didnt see you offer any support to Floyd when he expressed his unfortunate housing and food situation. I seem to recall a non-religious person, UpStateFarmer did however, and this judgemental Catholic as well. All of you shoud have approached Floyd and offered him a word of support. Perhaps others did but I did not see those comments
Behavior is everything
“It’s precisely why America has lost its Christian identity. Conservatives love to wrap themselves in their “conservative” principles, all made up on the fly. ”
Estovir, America has an identity all of its own. Unlike the Western European nations, it was not so entrenched in the Church, though it took a lot from the Judeo-Christian way of life, and the founders established various Christian sects in the colonies.
Americans were more independent thinkers and doers. Though the Church was a part of the lives of many, America was not an extension of the Church. It went beyond and expressed itself in the words “all men are created equal” and are endowed with “certain unalienable rights,” including “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
This assertion does not tell Americans to go to Church once a week —Americans who want to do so voluntarily and not under duress, do so. That is consistent with their nature.

That’s probably the stupidest comment I have ever seen on this blog. That’s like saying Beethoven was a bad composer because he suffered from constipation.

“Remember that weird guy who keeps roadkill in his freezer and cut the head off a dead whale.”
As weird as the entire Biden/Harris administration lecturing American women (and men) that men can get pregnant?
Is that worse than four years of a Biden administration Admiral who’s the Secretary of Health, a 6′ tall male with a swinging dick and tiny mouse balls, a doctor who assures Americans that he is in fact a woman who can menstruate and give birth.
Wait, the party that installed Pete Buttigieg as Transportation Secretary (so he could take 8 months paternity leave right in the middle of a supply chain crisis), “Rachel” Levine as “Admiral” or whatever, Sam Britton – the lipstick wearing cross dressing baggage thief – as nuclear officer, incompetent zero-talent Shirley Temple glass ceiling shatterer Karine Jean-Pierre as press secretary, and Kamala Harris as candidate for President . . . now wants to complain about Trump’s selections? Hahahahahahahaha! That’s comedy gold right there.

“No more interns for you, Joe Biden.”
“No more interns for you, Joe Biden.”
Well played lin, well played.
oldmanfromkansas, It is indeed comedy gold ! The so-called “left” remind me of spoiled children who insist on their way. These people are the least tolerant human beings alive it seems to me. I don’t care what they do in their personal lives – that’s on them. I care when they believe they are “right”, yet instead they are narrow minded, just because they have to believe what they spew, or how could they be accepted in Washington and the universities. How about hiring psychology majors, and help these people.
* The psych majors are all nuts, too?
Oh please. The right now is the groupthink party where the dear leader can do harm and anyone who goes against him is shot down.

Bless you, sir.
Jonathan: The controversy between Rep Moulton and Tufts is a convenient distraction from the real lack of “diversity of viewpoints” now shown by DJT’s pics for various government jobs. DJT is intent on filling important positions with just boot lickers. Case in point.
Let’s start with Matt Gaetz who DJT just announced is his pic for AG. That’s right. As astonishing as it sounds DJT has picked probably the least qualified person to serve as the head of the largest law enforcement agency in the world.
So what does Gaetz have that no other person could bring to the DOJ. For starters he has no experience in the DOJ. His colleagues in the House hate him because of his antics. Gaetz also has been under criminal investigation for years over his sex trafficking of under age females. Even the House Ethics Committee has him under investigation because, among other things, Gaetz showed nude photos of underage females he said he had sex with to fellow members of the House.
All this is no problem for DJT. He likes frat-boy types who brag about their sexual exploits. Considering DJT has already been adjudged a rapist (twice) he considers Gaetz a perfect fit for AG. Gaetz will be the spear thrower who will go after all of DJT’s perceived “enemies” because that is what DJT wants.
With Gaetz’s horrendous background and record in Congress how does DJT expect to get his pic confirmed by the Senate? It’s no deep secret. DJT and his close ally, Elon Musk, have told GOP Senators he wants a “recess” appointment because he knows Gaetz would probably not survive serious questions about his qualifications that would come up during public testimony. The Q is whether the new GOP Senate Majority leader, John Thune, will go along. But DJt has made his wishes clear. He wants Thune to declare a 10-day “recess” and then push through Gaetz’a appointment with any confirmation hearings. That would contrary to the Constitution. But insiders say Musk has threatened GOP Senators–if they don’t push through the appointment he will personally finance challengers against any Senator who refuses to go along.
So DJT wants to ignore the Constitution so he can put people in charge who are not qualified but will do his bidding. Now I have a theory about DJT’s massive election victory. For months Harris, Walz and the Dems told voters that DJT was a “dictator” in waiting–that he would destroy our Democratic institution and set up one-man rule. Voters said to themselves “No, that wouldn’t happen in America. DJT wouldn’t do all the things he is accused of, would he?” So they voted for him.
So here is my prediction. DJT will do exactly what he promised. He will be “dictator” on day one an every day thereafter for the next 4 years. Those close to DJT say he is even considering staying in power after 2028–disregarding the 22nd Amendment. No, he wouldn’t do that, would he?
DeMac, you need help! Here:

Moulton’s actions have understandably stirred discomfort within the Democratic Party, especially when examining its leadership. Consider Joe Biden, whose personal history of showering with his daughter has, at times, raised eyebrows.
You simply do not understand the basic concepts of conserving our precious water resources! 🙂
🙂 🙂 🙂
With the turmoil Trump is already causing with his outrageous nominations, Turley ignores this big story that all other media are covering to take a swipe at Democrats and to pitch his book. Turley erroneously claims that the outcome of the election is due to Democrats ignoring transgenderism and other culture war issues, instead of the blatant lying, misogyny, racism and baseless promises of lower prices for groceries and housing. Even MAGA media acknowledges that Gaetz is going to have problems with confirmation–which is EXACTLY why Trump DEMANDED recess appointments–to deny the American people the right to have thosse in positions of authority vetted as the Constitution sets forth. Gaetz resigned from the House because an Ethics Committee was prepared to release a report on its investigation of him on Friday. Even if Gaetz didn’t have all of the baggage of accusations of sex trafficking, abusing women and drugs, he has NO prosecutorial or judicial experience. Is he qualified to head up the Bureau of Prisons? I don’t think so. He only practiced law for a couple of years before becoming a career politician. Even if these were not obstacles, he does not have the temperament to be our legal standard-bearer–which some Republicans have acknowledged. Will he prosecute civil rights violations on behalf of the American people? I doubt it. Will he prosecute J6 defendants, even those who assaulted police officers and damaged property? Oh, hell no. Trump said these people, who believed the Big Lie are “patriots”. What message does that send to our law enforcement officers? That it’s OK to beat up a cop and damage public property if the perp is doing it on behalf of Trump?
Then, we have little Tulsi Gabbard, nominated to head up our Intelligence. She has nothing resembling experience for this position and nothing qualifying her for such a role–NOTHING. Even if this were not a good enough reason to vote against her, she has repeated Russian propaganda–like the lie that Ukraine was making nuclear weapons. Mitt Romney had to get her to shut up about this. How is it even thinkable that someone who would repeat Russian propaganda could be allowed access to top secret classified information, much less head up our intelligence?
Next, we have that Fox contributor–don’t recall his name–but, you MAGAs know who I mean–the guy who thinks his tattoos make him appear manly (but really expose his insecurities), who brags about not washing his hands and in a Fox piece, threw a hatchet at a target and took out a drummer from West Point, live on air–nominated to head up the Department of Defense. He was credibly accused of murdering a 17 year old combatant, but got away with it. He never rose above the level of Major–but he’s going to be in charge of Generals and Admirals? Oh, and Trump proposes some kind of board to “vet” generals in the military and to remove many of them who aren’t considered loyal to him. As Jeh Johnson said in a recent interview, not only are military leaders not supposed to be involved in politics–it is disqualifying for them to do so. Again, the military represents all of us–not Trump.
This is the acid test of patriotism for Senate Republicans–do they comply with their oath to the Constitution and vote down nominees who are clearly not qualified, or do they knuckle under to Trump? I saw a report that Trump has a big-screen TV at MAL in his “war room”, in which he watches videos of people he intends to nominate, to see how photogenic they are–that’s one of his criteria–how they look. This is all just another reality TV show to him.
Turmoil is in the eye of the opposition.
You are such a hoot! If you are a real person, and not a paid shill, or parody sock-puppet, I say BRAVA! You are the epitome of the old adage that you can fool some of the people all the time! (Jacques Abbadie?)

Then, we have little Tulsi Gabbard, nominated to head up our Intelligence. She has nothing resembling experience for this position and nothing qualifying her for such a role–NOTHING.
What kind of credibility does Gigi have to make any of her assessments on qualification other than a poorly told joke? Gigi is once again mixing her racism and sexism against this mixed race brown woman.
What’s your problem with her Gigi? She has a Half East Indian Brown Vagina, exactly like Vice President DEI Hire has – the one who used her brown vagina to get her start in politics.
Gabbard’s vagina not brown enough to be Woke and Diversity and Inclusion for you? Or your problem is she went the military merit route, versus the DEI Hire’s blowjob route?
When she was a Democrat, Commissar Nancy Pelosi called her a “rising star” in the party. Why would Polosi say that when you say she’s unqualified?
Pelosi also put her on the Committee on Homeland Security and Committee on Foreign Affairs where she sat for years.
Pelosi also put her on the Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa, Subcommittee on Border and Maritime Security… AND the Subcommittee on National Security.
In the real world, there’s a lot to do with Intelligence going on in those committee’s.
However, in Gigi World, over ten years on those committees and four terms in Congress means she’s unqualified for the position. Gigi wants qualification like the Transportation Secretary, the Reverend Mrs. Pete Buttigeig has.
Gigi, there might be others here who have demonstrated they are even less qualified and with less credibility than you to make judgements on people filling positions, but they’ll have to work overtime to surpass you for the title.
Gigi, you are still nothing more than Gigi The Democrat Fire Ho Of Lies. A bad joke repeatedly playing with every post you drop here.
I still encourage you to double down with all of it, show the world your stuff for the midterms two years away. Don’t stop!
Old Airborne Dog: you are such a class act. You have a strong need somehow to keep using the word “vagina” as a perjorative term. Why do you hate women so much? You haven’t responded whatsoever to the criticisms of Gabbard–that she lacks experience and that she has promoted Russian propaganda. The person who heads intelligence needs considerable experience, not just in administration, but also in the field of intelligence gathering and distribution. How are people who work under her supposed to respect her when she has no knowledge of the field and no administrative experience? Are they supposed to train her on how to do the job? She is simply not qualified. From reports, Trump is choosing people based on two criteria, the first being most important: 1. loyalty to him–being willing to do whatever they are told without qualms; and 2. photogenicity.
And, BTW: the “vagina”– the birth canal in laymens’ terms, is inside the body; and, regardless of race, the color is pink–dusky bluish pink if the woman is pregnant.
“From reports, Trump is choosing people based on…”
Translated
“I get my opinions from listening to other morons give their opinions”
Fvck you and your reports, Gigenius. No amount of wailing and gnashing of teeth from you and your ilk is going to stop Trump from getting his picks.
Tom: the report about the big screen TV watching videos of how various candidates look and the “war room” came from someone who was there, but who spoke on the condition of anonymity. And, we DO know that Trump is all about appearances.
Not interested in anonymous cowards, and their OPINIONS, gigenius. What did Jimmy Fsllon have to say about it? Stooge.
I’m sure you will NEVER have to worry about being on the big sreen GiGi.
I’m sure you will NEVER have to worry about being on the big sreen GiGi.
Not only that… she didn’t have to change one single thing about her sex life to go on a 4Bs sex strike.
And nobody who unfortunately has to be around her can see any difference since she started.
And, we DO know that Trump is all about appearances.
Who better than a Soviet Democrat Bolshevik Bytch on a broomstick to tell you what Trump is actually about?
We all know that Trump is about WINNING, and kicking stupid Woke and communist shyte in America’s government into the gutter.
Gigi is finally telling the truth in her claims that Trump beats women like Vice President DEI Hire’s husband beats his lovers and nanny’s he’s knocked up.
It is true, but not quite the same. First Trump beat Hillary Clinton. And then he beat a second woman: Vice President DEI Hire.
It looks like we now have an American version of the Charlie Hebdo case. A resolution to the Alex Jones case seems to have been reached today in which Jones is required to pay out Billions (!) of dollars to the agrieved parents – even though he did not kill their children. Whatever crackpot theories Jones may have, this settlement is disgraceful.
It is.
gigs. it’s pejorative, not perjorative. Don’t try to use big words that you just learned.
Old Airborne Dog: you are such a class act.
Said the class act Gigi… who’s getting responses in the same vein as what she posts.
Gigi, when you post like an angry strung out back alley whore, invariably taking pains every time to insult Professor Turley as your host, you get responded to just like any other cheap angry strung out back alley whore.
Will you feel better if I use the word “pussy’ in honor of the vast selection of Pink Pussy Hats you had for wearing until President Daddy-Daughter Inappropriate Incest Showers was credibly accused of rape by a former intern that was accompanied by numerous contemporary witnesses from that day?
Did you throw out your collection of Pink Pussy Hats at the same time you dropped the #BelieveHer hashtag immediately after Biden’s rape victim, Tara Reid came forward?
You haven’t responded whatsoever to the criticisms of Gabbard–that she lacks experience and that she has promoted Russian propaganda.
I posted her CV of all the committees she spent years on that interact and are related to Intelligence. Your response to that is to lie there was no response.
Meanwhile, it was YOU and The Pervert In Chief that pushed the Clinton/Obama/Biden/DNC propaganda that their illegal “Trump-Russia Dosser” was intelligence agency proof Trump was a Putin stooge.
And again, it was YOU and The Pervert In Chief and his now Secretary of State who arranged and pushed the Biden/DEI Hire propaganda that the Biden Bribery Laptop wasn’t real – it was just “election compaign Russian disinformation”
Nothing Gabbard said or did comes even remotely close what those evil, corrupt crime ridden thugs did to enable Putin spreading his communist web.
And she certainly didn’t pull an Obama/Biden and let Putin invade Ukraine despite our defense pact with them. TWICE.
You don’t have the mental capabilities to assess anybody’s qualities for any job after pimping for Biden as being mentally sound right up to the moment of the DNC insurrection that removed him in that internal coup. And you certainly have shattered any hopes you had of having any credibility here after performing as Gigi The Democrat Fire Ho Of Lies.
I’ll just end here with a reminder of what looks like Gabbard’s inexperience to you:
Committee on Homeland Security and Committee on Foreign Affairs
Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific
Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa
Subcommittee on Border and Maritime Security
AND the Subcommittee on National Security.
In the real world, there’s a lot to do with Intelligence going on in those committee’s. You on the other hand seem primarily occupied with proving that you only have baseline intelligence at best.
It has never dawned on you that Americans were happy to give Clinton the majority vote in 2016 – but when it was Vice President DEI Hire, only qualified due to her brown pussy, the same voters by the millions refused to vote for that thing.
Want a woman for president? Then pick women that are better candidates than the trash hoes like Clinton and Harris. Quit listening to other trash hoes like Whoopy Goldberg, Joy Reid and Ilhan Incest Omar,
Don’t want Trump for president? Then pick better candidates than bug eyed angry incompetent commie clowns like Bolshevik Barack and President Daddy-Daughter Inappropriate Incest Showers.
That said, I do hope you and your sister Bolshevik Bytch harpies like Whoopy Goldberg, Joy Reid et al continue carrying on exactly as you have been doing since American voters including women kicked the DEI Hire’s skanky ho ass to the curb.
Do it at least through the midterms and to 2028 – it worked SO well in the election last week!
Gigi – You are actually right for a change. Tulsi is NOT qualified to head an intelligence agency. She is far too honest.
Honest? We’re there US-financed biological weapons labs in Ukraine? No there weren’t— that was Russian propaganda. Mitt Romney finally got her to stop spreading this lie and pointed out that people could get killed. She defended Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Why would she say this things? What experience does she have in administration of anything?
“We’re there US-financed biological weapons labs in Ukraine? No there weren’t . . .”
Actually, there were — which the Biden administration finally admitted. (Look it up yourself.)
According to “USA Today”:
““Recently, ‘fake news’ about the alleged activities of American military biological laboratories in Ukraine has been spread in the media and social networks,” the agency said. “No foreign biological laboratories operate in Ukraine. Statements recently made by individual politicians are not true and are a deliberate distortion of the facts.”
USA TODAY was unable to reach the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine or the Department of Defense for comment.
Our rating: False
Based on our research, we rate FALSE the claim that there are U.S. biolabs in Ukraine funded by the U.S. government. The posts misrepresent a treaty between the United States and Ukraine aimed at preventing biological threats.
The labs are owned and funded by the Ukrainian government. The Security Service of Ukraine and the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine have said the claim is false. Reports indicate the claim is tied to a years-long Russian disinformation campaign aimed at discrediting the United States.”
“USA TODAY . . .”
No wonder you’re so confused. You keep basing your opinions on your favorite, second-hand “fact checkers,” instead of looking at the facts and the actual evidence.
The State Department, the Pentagon, and the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine have long admitted to funding and operating biolabs in Ukraine.
As did then Under Secretary Victoria Nuland:
“Uh, Ukraine has, uh, biological research facilities.” “We are now in fact quite concerned that Russian troops, Russian forces, may be seeking to, uh, gain control of [those labs], so we are working with the Ukrainiahhhns [sic] on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach.”
Sam is correct. Gigi (who claims to be a lawyer) is unable to understand media’s calculated use of language and specific words–as well as the calculated responses. First, media frames the statement in its own words: “No foreign biological laboratories operate in Ukraine.”
What is NOT denied (because of how the question is framed) is that UKRAINE “operates” these laboratories WITH FUNDING AND DIRECTIONAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE U.S.
Gigi also (for a lawyer yet!) continually fails to understand the difference between referring to and citing her sources (so that others can read or see it for themselves, looking for misquotes, deletions, context, etc.)
Amazing, that nutty cookie.
“First, media frames the statement in its own words: . . .”
Good point.
You can always tell they’re hiding something by how they manipulate words to aggressively change the topic.
With the turmoil Trump is already causing with his outrageous nominations,
This is somebody who didn’t find it the slightest bit outrageous to vote and pimp for the Kiddy Fondler In Chief and unindicted felon, President Daddy-Daughter Inappropriate Incest Showers.
Same person who didn’t find it outrageous that she and Vice President DEI Hire lied to Americans that the Pervert In Chief was still the smartest person in the room with her in their weekly meetings.
Gigi is outraged that real women voted for the welfare of their sons, daughters, husbands and themselves, to protect them from bug eyed crazed commies like Gigi.
Normal women whose greatest election issue wasn’t voting for bimonthly birth control abortions for Gigi, guaranteed by a wannabe president whose qualifications were being a DEI Hire certified to own a Brown Vagina.
Gigi finds nominations outrageous if they’re NOT a SCOTUS nominee who states under oath it/they can’t define what a woman is.
Gigi finds nominations outrageous if they’re NOT a 6’2′ male doctor who claims he can menstruate and give birth, nominated to be Secretary of Health.
And they’re certainly outrageous if that nominee, as the next AG, will refuse to follow the current AG in turning a blind eye to criminality within the Biden Bribery White House Crime Cartel.
Gigi fears for the First Felon Crackhead Kid and Bribery Biden! All those underage hookers The Kid was moving across state lines into the White House while Vice President Big Guy was paying for those whores and his drugs.
Gigi’s parents wish Gigi had stuck with her original career choice, selling her Bolshevik butt in back allies, one $5 hummer at a time. Gigi does share some traits with Vice President DEI Hire.
I had to read Floyd’s line a couple times then realized he meant it as cynical. We saw the same thing happen at the Al Smith Dinner, where Trump used humor to completely “own” the audience which included a majority of people who pretend to hate Trump, loath Trump, call him Hitler, and a Nazi, a threat to Democracy, the AntiChrist, nay Pontius Pilate even! The squeaks of a tiny mouse in the jaws of a cat.
At the conclusion, the ridiculous oafs all elbowed their way into the inner circle to shake his hand and gush all over him. Believe your lying eyes, that beautiful scene of hypocrisy says it all.
If a Democrat says it, it is a lie. If a Democrat accuses, it is a projection of their own guilt. If a Democrat believes it, it is only a transitory belief up unto the minute where it benefits the Democrat to change their belief with the change of the wind.
If Democrats continue to close their ears to the message of the electorate, they doom themselves to continued irrelevance.
Prior to the election I understood that winning the popular vote would give Republicans a mandate to enact the Republican platform.
What I failed to realize is that a popular vote victory also disempowers “the resistance”.
All those who have cried Hitler, Hitler, Hitler, Fascist, Fascist, Fascist, Racist, Racist, Racist,
have been rejected as irrelevant liars by the electorate.
I keep reading of the massive GOTV effort by democrats – with many justifiably stating – that should have ensured victory,
but it did not.
What does that mean ?
That means that democrats knocked on 10’s of milions of doors to get people out to vote, and most stayed home or voted for Trump.
It means that you can not shame or drag people to vote – when they have lost trust in you.
It means that the resistance will be impotent.
It means that the electorate is not listening to democrats.
This is a disaster for the much of the media.
This is a disaster for the left.
This is a disaster for Democrats.
It is not so much that Trump won.
It is that voters rejected what the left has said and done.
The popular vote results revealed a stark division among the electorate, with support nearly evenly split. This lack of a decisive majority demonstrates the absence of a clear mandate for the new administration.
Furthermore, any notion of a mandate can rapidly diminish if the situation begins to deteriorate, which seems to be happening with the controversial selections for Trump’s cabinet. These early signs of discord and internal conflict could serve as a troubling precursor for what lies ahead: a governance characterized by dysfunction and incompetence. The challenges ahead may indicate deeper systemic issues within the leadership framework.
Trump’s 75,889,901 vs. Harris 72,877,294. That’s not a mandate-worthy difference.
George: For days on end, we heard about how much greater the popular vote was for Hillary Clinton than for Trump. The media never let up:
“More Americans voted for Hillary Clinton than any other losing presidential candidate in US history. The Democrat outpaced President-elect Donald Trump by almost 2.9 million votes, with 65,844,954 (48.2%) to his 62,979,879 (46.1%), according to revised and certified final election results from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.”
Turns out that Trump has beaten Harris by over 3 milllion votes, using your statistics—better than Clinton’s margin.
Thanks anyway, George.
https://www.cnn.com/2016/12/21/politics/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-popular-vote-final-count/index.html
Lin, I believe you may be overlooking an important aspect of the situation. The margins you refer to do not necessarily signify a “clear mandate” as Trump and his supporters assert. In fact, these margins can often be misleading, as they might not reflect the full spectrum of voter sentiment or the complexities of the electoral process. It’s essential to consider a variety of factors, such as voter turnout, demographics, and the context of the election, rather than relying solely on these figures as a definitive endorsement of policies or leadership.
No, jack ass, you’re the one ignoring the context. Outside of the coastal elites and brain washed inner cities, Trump DEMOLISHED Harris. The pubs DEMOLISHED in the SENATE and kicked butt in the house.
Its a mandate, and whether you like it or not, it is going to be treated as one.
Elections have consequences, and all of your whining and wishing isnt going to change that.
Dont need no endorsement fool.
(hello Anon) Elsewhere, I pointed out to George that the margin of 3.15 MILLION voters more than Harris, and a compelling electoral win of 312 to 226 over Harris, was sufficient for me to not be offended when the Trump campaign refers to a “clear mandate.”
George also defends, “It’s essential to consider a variety of factors, such as voter turnout, demographics, and the context of the election, rather than relying solely on these figures as a definitive endorsement of policies or leadership.”
I’m not quite sure why he believes these “factors’ are any different than in any other presidential race.
“I’m not quite sure why he believes these “factors’ are any different than in any other presidential race.”
Trust me, lin, Svelaz-George doesn’t believe a word he says. That’s why he is constantly contradicting himself and saying stupid crap.
Good article – Hitler welcomed to the White House and warmly welcomed!
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/leftists-melt-down-biden-nice-trump-during-white-house-welcome
@Floyd
I guess a Floyd can’t help being a Floyd. I’m making it into a pejorative. That is SO *Floyd*. Find your spine. I welcome your opinion, but at least have the nuts to acknowledge you could only share it in a truly free country. Hey! Like this one. Out vote us next time, because this November, people of your tiny and myopic mindset got slaughtered, and I suspect this will only increase going forward. We have had enough. Just, enough. It can no longer be denied that you are not just in the minority, but a *tiny* minority. And that is supposed to be, by your own word, the democracy you, yourself believe in. Our 1A and 2A are our shield, and you can take that to whatever place you like; we aren’t giving them up.
In the meantime, feel free to spew away. Nobody will stop you, and oh, the irony.
It may be possible I misunderstood your sharing that; if so, I do apologize. I am sorry we live in such polarized and trigger happy times. If I got it wrong – forgive me. To be fair though – your verbiage did not help, elucidate better next time, maybe; it’s what I try to do. Words matter more than ever now. I really do apologize.
PS – the time of ‘social media brain’ is over, s a lot of us will have to fire up the neglected common sense neural pathways, they have been dormant for years. A great many of us are actually thinking, really thinking, and this is not a Facebook feed – please try to be clear. I hope this is a mea culpa. Peace.
Yep, you got it wrong. I was being sarcastic and simply quoting something either from the article, or from a Jimmy Dore clip. I forget which. Oh, it was Glenn Greenwald being sarcastic –
“Joe Biden welcomes Hitler to the White House, smiles and shakes his hand, tells him how helpful he’ll be as Hitler takes over.
Democrats believe none of what they claim.”
It’s in the article.
But no problem. I know you meant well.
