It’s Not My Fault, It’s The Default: Fani Willis Loses Significant Records Fight

He wrote that Willis did not make any “meritorious defense”  and that “Plaintiff is thus entitled to judgment by default as if every item and paragraph of the complaint were supported by proper and sufficient evidence.”

The case against Trump is on appeal after the court decided not to disqualify Willis from prosecuting the case.

Willis will also now have to pay Judicial Watch’s attorney’s fees. The hearing on the fees will appropriately come just before Christmas for Judicial Watch on Dec. 20, 2024. That will add to the towering costs for the people of Atlanta in funding this high-profile adventure.

Of course, she can insist “it is not my fault, it’s the default.”

Here is the order: Judicial Watch v. Willis

  1. I don’t know who first coined the phrase ‘white supremacy.’
The comments to this piece about Fani Willis could be read as circumstantial evidence of it.
Willis and Bragg are the two currently in the news, but you have a Supreme Court Justice who was unwilling to answer the question ‘ what is a woman?’
You have a state Attorney General in New York who’s biggest promise to voters was that she would ‘get Trump.’

Of course, to be fair, white folks have Eric Swallwell, Adam Schiff, and innumerable others to be embarrassed by.

Add Joe Biden to the non-supremacy list of white people.

As for Ms. Willis, the daughter of one of the founding members of the Black Panthers, THEY had a few smart people — but it didn’t filter down to Fani. She is an embarrassment to her father, no doubt about it.

  2. You get what you elect! The people of Atlanta, like those in NYC, continue to elect clowns like Willis and Bragg and all they get in return is racist and inept prosecutors looking to garner public support by harassing people who have done nothing to others who were unharmed. In the meantime, real criminals committing real crimes, are excused or released because, after all, they, too, are oppressed. The common denominator here and the one, the only one that counts in the long term is money and when voters see how much this foolishness costs, they may just wise up and put honest people in office, people who won’t rip them off for their own personal fortune as well as wasting state funds like missing court dates and having to pay the opposing party’s fees.

  3. Trump just filed a motion requesting the Georgia Court of Appeals to “confirm its lack of jurisdiction” to continue hearing his appeal and then direct the trial court to “immediately dismiss” altogether the Fulton County election interference case against him brought by Fani Willis. Article at Townhall.Com. Quite the difference in Trump’s legal team these days compared to the Rudy and Jenna sh*t-show of years yonder.

  4. This will be a welcome Christmas present to Judicial Watch.

Multiple DA’s have run election campaigns on “getting Trump,” like they’re Lavrentiy Beria, saying, “Show me the man, and I’ll show you the crime.” It’s anathema to a blind justice system.

“Holding Trump accountable” and “putting in guard rails” are euphemisms for Democrats refusing to accept the results of a democratic election, and trying to sabotage a duly elected president.

  5. Prosecute the purveyors of lawfare to the fullest extent of the law.

At a minimum, crimes of conspiracy, usurpation of power and abuse of power involving federal officers were perpetrated.

“In December 2022, District Attorney Bragg ‘beefed up [his] office’ by hiring Mr. Colangelo to fill the void left by the departure of politicized line prosecutors Mark Pomerantz and Carey Dunne.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) sent a letter to New York Attorney General Letitia James demanding documents about New York County District Attorney (DANY) Alvin Bragg’s lead prosecutor Matthew Colangelo as the Committee continues its investigation into politicized prosecutions.

  7. I am of the opinion that be it equal opportunity, affirmative action, or DEI, when you’ve finally had your shot at the brass ring, grabbed it and succeeded, it becomes the way that you use it or abuse it. Corruption and moral and ethical turpitude have no complexion, gender or gender preference, religious persuasion, sociopolitical or economic standing, lineage or place of national origin. Like it or not, society has arrived at the point where race baiters like Joy Reid and others of her ilk can shove it up where the sun don’t shine. You either have it, or you don’t and if you don’t, it may bite you in the ass.

  8. The Great Prosecution of Donald Trump is now turning into a French farce. The people who were the prosecutors are now becoming the victims, and the people who were the victims are now becoming the prosecutors. The title of this farce could be “Turnabout is Fair Play”.

  9. Ah Fani the Moron strikes again! Well Atlanta and Georgia voters asked for her and now they got her! Let the net taxpayers in Atlanta empty their wallets so this nit wit can keep an election promise (likely the only one she can keep!) to chase Trump! This laughable musical is too stupid to be fiction. Only this low IQ prosecutor could make this a real show!

    1. “Well Atlanta and Georgia voters asked for her and now they got her!”

By the same standards you could say, “Well, American voters asked for Obama twice and then Biden, and now they’ve gotten what they asked for”.

In either case, whether in Georgia or the entire USA, those who DIDN’T vote for that got it anyways.

  10. In saner times there is no way this chick would have ever even graduated. I dismiss her opinions out of hand. Being a deep state turd only looks good on a resume if one is applying for a job to be a deep state turd. Hopefully, good riddance, Fanni. May your ignominy haunt you for the rest of your life, and for anyone who collaborated with you.

Nancy tore up the speech on camera, very much intentionally, and she refused the National Guard. That is all that most of us remember, and we will not forget.

  11. This will be just delicious. I’m grateful for your attention to this. These people have nearly destroyed any sliver of hope for justice remaining in this failing American experiment. Most citizens have no idea of the power of their own local DAs office – what gets buried and what gets prosecuted, and the power that comes from being mini J. Edgar Hoovers in their own tiny realms. They got the files, they got the dirt, they know where the bodies are buried, and often are the biggest obstruction to justice with misapplied secrecy and “attorney client privilege.” Rip the lid off.

    1. I haven’t lost confidence in the USA and our version of democracy. The last eight years, especially the last four, have put great strains on on our unity and common purpose, though, and I am appalled by what
we’ve learned about Democrats and the lengths they’ll go to stay in power and to diminish the role of Others and the confirmation we’ve received of the intense loyalty of media and government to the left.

  12. The taxpayers of Georgia don’t realize that they’re the ones that are going to be judicial watches Attorney’s fees because most people think the government has money. They don’t realize the government has no money. It just takes money from one party and gives to others.

  13. donald trump continues to be the luckiest sob thats ever lived- its clear that the system is not set up to deal with a narcissistic mentally ill seditious sex criminal with tons of money

    1. “donald trump continues to be the luckiest sob”

Another sobbing commie that the Democrat Different Justice wasn’t powerful enough to take out Trump nor to successfully hide the Biden Crime family of rapists, incest, and otherwise sexual perverts.

Cry in your beer, commie loser, while the Biden family laughs into the sunset with their tens of millions of dollars in bribes.

    2. People fo not get that lucky.

Whan lightning strikes multiple times – it is not luck. It is either the incompetence of those going after you or your own competence.

  14. You got to know when to hold em,
Know when to fold em, Know when to walk away,
    Know when to run!

When she agreed to participate in the “lawfare”, she probably didn’t realize that President Trump was going to again be President Trump.

  15. Even to me, not a lawyer, the lawfare against Trump from RussiaRussiaRussia and two impeachments, to the NY, FL, and DC cases stinks like a giant pile of rotting fish guts.

It is important to dig into these events to root out the bad actors. However, what is most important is to fully uncover the coordination with the Biden administration. Centrally coordinated and funded lawfare may be the most serious crime of all.

  16. Dear Mr. Turley, all I will say is I hope Ms. Willis enjoyed her intimacy with Mr. Wade. It will end up costing her the biggest case she would ever have in her life. This is how she will go down in history.
