Democrats Pledge Impeachments and Prosecutions When They Return to Power

Various Democrats are promising to investigate and impeach President Donald Trump if they retake the House next year. At the same time, others are promising a scorched earth campaign against those who support Trump, including Elon Musk. Representative Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA) declared this week that Musk committed crimes and will be at the top of the list.

MSNBC’s ratings may be declining but the network is escalating the unhinged rhetoric. Host Symone Sanders ominously told Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA) , “Let’s talk about Elon Musk” and his “data” on waste that he identified in the federal government: “So what are Democrats going to do about the data? Are you all going to follow up on this?”

Subramanyam immediately pledged to hunt Musk down:

“… certainly, I think some crimes may have been committed over the past 3 or 4 months, and they are going to come to light one way or another, even if it takes us getting into power again, but we will subpoena people and find out.”

There is no evidence of any criminal conduct by Musk. Indeed, DOGE has largely won in its fights to gain access to records in the search for fraud and waste.

Nevertheless, after calling for Musk to be “taken down,” Democratic rep. Jasmine Crockett (D., Tx.) is also calling for Musk to be investigated over DOGE once Democrats take power.

It is otherworldly to see Democrats raising prosecution threats against the effort to reduce the size and waste of government. One can certainly be critical of some of the cuts under DOGE but few would disagree that Musk helped find billions in waste, including some shocking revelations about the inefficiencies of our government.

A former Obama aide, Rep. Subramanyam just arrived in Congress but has immediately resumed the same failed narrative. The Democrats are an example of how, if you only have a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.

There is a return to the same script from pledges of prosecutions to impeachments. Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez has even reimagined the “defund the police” campaign into an “Abolish ICE” campaign.

Resisting immigration enforcement, downsizing government, and other issues are only moving the party further from the center of this country.

The threat only reaffirms my call yesterday for President Trump to award Musk the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his contributions to space exploration, electric vehicles, free speech, and other public service. Elon has lost a fortune in resisting these attacks and threats from the left. This country owes him a great debt.

Love it, Joey not so much

    1. Another good laugh. DNC is spending 20 mill to learn how to talk to us guys…
      Let the jokes continue

    2. Dustoff,
But wait! It gets even better!
More Than Ever, Voters Say They Are Better Off Than Four Years Ago
“Forty-five percent (45%) of voters now say they are better off than they were four years ago.

That’s up two points since early March and the highest level of optimism measured since we first asked the question in October 2023.
In our final survey before Donald Trump was elected last November, just 37% said they were better off than four years ago.
Fifty-eight percent (58%) of Republicans and 35% of Democrats say they are better off.

Thirty-two percent (32%) say their income is keeping up with inflation.

Since Trump’s victory, the number saying their income is keeping up has been in the low 30s.
Last year, prior to the election, the number who thought their income was keeping up with inflation ranged from a low of 20% to a high of 29%.
Lower income Americans are the least likely to say their income is keeping up with inflation.
Just 19% of those with incomes under $35,000 say they are keeping up, while half (51%) of those who make more than $150,000 say their incomes have kept up.”

        1. Dustoff,
          Right?
When all those companies re-shore jobs, open manufacturing plants, start hiring Americans and pay them a decent, living wage, there is going to be even more optimism. The middle class is feeling more optimistic, which could mean winning the mid-terms. The lower class is still feeling the burn of Bidenflation but with gas prices coming down and food to a degree, things are getting better. Americans seeing violent criminal illegals getting arrested and deported makes them feel more safe and secure. But we cannot relent. We have to continue the winning!

        2. @Upstate @Dustoff

Yep. But do not underestimate the DNC’s willingness to lie, cheat, and steal. Our statements very clearly mean nothing to them whatsoever. As far as they are concerned, we will be ruled, whether we like it or not. I’m all for public sentiment, but it means absolutely nothing to them. They will still do their damnedest to find a way. Our actual activities in our communities matter more than they likely ever have before.

          1. James,
            I do not disagree.
However, as I noted before, what are Democrats going to run on? “We are not Trump!” clearly is not a winning plan. Nor is the repeated “He’s Hitler!” Or all the other nonsense. And their woke ideology is a turn off for many Americans. I fully expect Democrats to do as you say, lie, cheat, and steal. Their stance against voter ID is also another failure in their policy. 75% of all Americans support picture ID to vote and another 84% support removing the deceased from voter rolls and are against non-citizens voting. We have to point out that it is the Democrat party that is against voter integrity.
Just recently PA governor Shapiro (D) said, “It is a BFD [big f***ing deal],” a smiling Shapiro told the Washington Examiner, emphasizing that the US Steel and Nippon Steel deal announced by Trump last Friday will not only affect the entire steel industry but also stabilize and reinvigorate the region.
He also said, “They really evolved over time on the deal,” concerning the unions who were against the deal at first but now support it.

      1. * so what does it mean? The dims are done looting for now? On vacation? No leadership deficit?

  2. This is what Communists do. Show trials and made up crimes, that is why communism must be eliminated by every possible means.

    1. … not to mention the mushrooms, ecstasy, etc. that the article also reports were taken daily.

      1. * All to surreptitiously slip into dems food and drink you say? Like Biden was drugged? McCain drugged? Bizarre

    2. Ano

      POOR DEMS

You have now reduces your pitiful lives to just telling lies.
But do us a huge favor. Don’t stop, because America is watching.
      And you’ll keep losing.

      1. See below. Plenty of publicly available evidence. What do you have to suggest that all of those sources are “lying”?

        1. I think that if there is easily available information that Children are being drugged by the parents that the Police are all over it. As well as Children and Youth.

It is not the early 1900’s anymore. Hints of child abuse result in massive government intrusion into families. Sometimes that is justified, Sometimes it is not.
          But it happens regardless.

So NO I do not beleive that NYT has claims that pass the laugh test or the police and other agencies would be all over it.

          And finally once again

          Its the NYT

          That says it all.

Today the national enquirer is nore credible.

It is disappointing how far one of the most important papers in the US has fallen.
They always leaned left, But they did not always make things up.

They have not returned their pulitzer for the collusion delusion reporting.

        1. Drugs again
You fools said zip about Clinton and the blue dress, then you said nothing about O-dumber use of drugs… But OOOOOO Musk is bad.

Remember both dems had clearance to.

        2. Again where are the authorities ?

If you allow a 13yr old to walk a quarter mile to to the park in a safe neighborhood, you wil be arrested and have Children and Youth up your ass for years.

You really expect people to beleive that authorities accross multiple states are ignoring drugging children ?

          ROFL.

As to WSJ – sometimes, good, sometimes not. Depends on what areas they are reporting on.

        1. They didn’t arrest Liona Helmsley or Martha Stewart either. The Stewart charges were completely Trumped up – another James Comey special.

Not to mention the what 96 bogus indictments of Trump and the looney conviction in NYC.

Do you really think there is no left wing nut jurisdiction that would love to fry Musk and no Left wing nut prosecutor and Judge ready to screw him over ?

No anonymous the rich are not above the law. They are special targets,
especially if they piss off those on the left.

        1. Lets see we had a special counsel investigate the collusion delusion for 2 years. Prosecute and jail innocent people, and through the entire process entirely miss that the foundation of his investigation was a hoax ?

That was not some shareholders lawsuit. That was purportedly the best left wing nut lawyers in the country and not only did they come up with bupkus, but they completely missed that the whole thing was an actual hoax ?

        1. It is amazing.
We are told a recession is coming.
That Tariffs are tanking the economy.
That they will bring back inflation.
          Yet interest rates are down.
          Inflation hit unexpected lows.
Real employment – private sector not government is rising.
          Real income has increased dramatically.

I honestly do not know about the economy.
We have never cleared almost double digit inflation without a recession.
I expected an early recession in the Trump administration as necessary to clear the mess that was caused by Biden’s economic policies. I am very confident about the long term economy. But my expectations short term were not good.

But we are seeing alot of good economic news, as well as some bad economic news.

And it is pretty clear that someone is lying.

Might that be the same lying liars that have been lying for the past 16 years ?

  3. Thank you Mr. Elon Musk for spearheading the Trump Administration efforts in eliminating fraud within the US Government. There is much more to uncover but we would not be having these discussions if not for your efforts. Ignore the attacks by Democrats. They are terrified of being exposed as the biggest grifters known to mankind like 38 year old Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA). Loudon County, VA elected him, the wealthiest county in the nation of course.

  4. Mr. Turley,
Earlier this year, Elon Musk said and I quote, “The fundamental weakness of Western civilization is empathy,” referring to the emotion as a “bug” in our system. With all the mass and wealth he has amassed, with all the people he could have helped and lives he could have literally saved, he chose to lead an effort that took away help from those less fortunate, to harm those less privileged. This is the man you think is deserving of the Presidential Medal of Freedom? Expressing empathy is never weak. It takes courage and strength to be kind.

    1. ATS far more than those who devote their lives to charity. Far more than the Mother Theresa’s of the world, those Like Musk who trade value for value do MORE to improve the world for all of us.
The FACT that Musk is incredibly wealthy means that people greatly valued what he did. Further the great value placed on what he has produced creates wealth not just for him – but everyone who invests in his businesses, and everyone who works for them.

Expressing empathy may give you a warm fuzzy feeling, but beyond that it accomplished nothing.

In the parable of the sheep and the goats Christ did not ask what did you feel, he asked what you did.

If Musk had devoted his life to helping the poorest in Calcutta, he would have done far less good than he has done trading value for value

      ,

  5. OOOOOOO no, the dem-o-rats are going to freak.

    Protect our borders Prez Trump.
    Thanks

  6. If the investigated their OWN crimes they’d be scared to death and beg Moscow or Bejing to save them.

  7. I don’t know if I should feel sorry for Democrats or just ignore them. They all seem to be bat guano crazy talking about winning the House in 2 years. They need to realize the Administrations policies and actions are working, when it comes time to vote again, they will lose badly. The next President will be JD Vance, it will be nearly 12 years before they have another chance, IF they drastically change all of their nutty positions.

    1. Who? Oh – the guy that called Trump “America’s Hitler?” That guy? You think he can beat Rubio to the Presidency?

      1. It’s not good to start drinking so darn early.

You want to try that comment again. (after you sober up)

      2. Vance stopped, looked at Trump’s policies, realized they were good and got on board with MAGA. There was that one former Google CEO who did the same. I am good with either Vance or Rubio as long as it means another 12 years Democrats are not in power or control.

  8. This is why cowardly republicants won’t prosecuted even the most egregious and ubiquitous crimes be democrat filth; fear of retaliation.

Republicants will just grandstand about justice for democrat malfeasance, graft and treason; they’ll never perp walk the democrat villains.

  9. Senator Joni Ernst had a town hall.
A constituent pointed out that people will die as a result of Medicaid cuts.
    Her response:
“Well, we are all going to die”

Clearly the Republican plan is to balance the budget by condemning poor people to death sooner rather than later.
They might as well just start shooting people to get it done faster.

    1. 👌😂Typical socialist argument trying to justify why you’re entitled to other people’s money. ‘But, I’ll suffer if I don’t have your money.’

Democrats are the opposite of Americans. They worship and adore maximum totalitarian government, their god.

    2. First you lie about cuts, and if you had a brain. We all die. Matter of fact!
Medicaid is getting fixed because because of fraud and waste…
      Typical lib lie

    3. * . How about cutting the medicaid fraud so everyone can keep it. That works, too. A person in hospice dying doesn’t need a hip replacement.

    4. ^^^ If you’re reference is illegal entries then medicaid while present treats illnesses that can and do spread within populations. Contagion is very serious and deadly. Denial of bona-fide medical care is foolish.

    5. People are not going to die. Just as Obamacare did not save millions of people, and getting rid of it would not result in a single death.

I will be happy to make you a bet. If the Republican cuts to medicare pass there will be no statistically significant change to US death trends.

But I would ask you an important moral question.
Would you impoverish everyone in the country to save one life ? 10 ? 100 ?

The planned ObamaCare death boards had estblished by law a value of $250,000 for a human life. Any treatment that cost more than that to save a life would not get approved.

With respect to the Republican spending cuts, do you think even with all your ranting about people dying, that you could get a majority of the american people to pay and addition $100/yr in taxes to avoid those cuts ? Not a chance.

One of the problems that we have with the left and unfortunately with too many of those in congress, is they are one giant moral hazard. They are divorced from the cost of what they spend and as a result make abysmally bad choices and spend too much.

There is no “people will die” exception to fiscal responsibility.
      Fiscal irresponsibility kills too.

  10. #9. OT: Ha, hahaha, so Biden wasted 320 million on a flimsy dock supposedly to receive aid or food for Gaza, injuring dozens of our soldiers in the process building the stupid thing which lasted like a week or so that it managed to float, with whatever supplies were unloaded which went straight to Hamas.

Flash forward; Trump manages the situation rather than sunbathing on the beach, and ensures any food aid is guarded and provisioned to the citizens of Gaza, and not to Hamas. So what is on the news this afternoon???

Gazan’s cheering the USA, carrying US Flags, and demanding Hamas leave.

    Contrast and compare.

    1. Not quite, as we have seen before the supporters of Gaza is the same fools who elected Hamas. They both would remove you in a heart breat

      1. #9. The Gazan’s as it were, bought their own demise no debating that. As to their trustworthiness, it true they don’t have a good track record. The more meaningful aspect of the picture of the moment, is that instead of hearing death to America chants, I heard USA chants; saw a U.S. flag, wherever the devil they got that in Gaza, and instead of wasting hundreds of millions on failed projects planned and executed by a corrupt politburo, perhaps even without the knowledge or approval of the President, (who’s to say a this point?), not to mention U.S. troops injured in the idiotic floating dock adventure… Never mind if this new picture is reflective of any meaningful change or outcome, just the fact that it is happening shows quite a contrasting comparison in what it takes to be a National leader as Trump is so clearly demonstrating, rather than a empty suit only interested in pretending to be royalty while sunbathing on the Delaware shore.

  11. -Transparency-
The more the Administration shows the workings of the Blob,
The more the People will see the DEMS for what They are.

      🔥Wanna Play Fire Scarecrow?🔥

  12. Franke, that is just a bunch of nonsense made up by TDS patients, and lying MSM.
I will be giving the FBI hotline a call on your behalf for threatening the POTUS.

  13. Oh Mr. Turley, this is your greatest idea ever. Yes – PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Mr. President – award Elon the Medal of AMAZINGNESS. Just please make sure he’s not TOO brain addled on mushrooms, ecstasy, adderall, or ketamine when he receives it – and maybe give him a t-shirt that covers his belly too. We should also give him a national award for fatherhood for fathering the most children from different women – and also the award for saving those poor white South Africans from getting their feelings hurt more – and yeah yeah – another award for killing an estimated 300,000 people through eliminating food and medicine across developing countries. GOD SAVE ELON!

      1. I know – RIGHT? I mean – Elon eliminated 80,000 jobs at the VA! There is NOTHING more American than screwing over veterans. MAGA ALL THE WAY!!!!

        1. Another fool.
Elon does NOT have that power.
As someone who has used VA and donate my time at the VA in San Diego. They waste money galore.

          Next lie

          1. Firstly, thank you for your service. Our country owes you a debt of gratitude.
Secondly, thank you for your volunteer work with the VA. I cannot imagine it is as appreciated as it should be.
Lastly, I’m genuinely happy you are satisfied with this reduction in VA workforce. However, 81% of your compatriots have expressed concern over what this will mean for their care. Here is that data for your reference:

            chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://iava.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/raw-data-100-Days.pdf

            1. Not everyone buys the lies the DNC produces.

The VA has been in the news for 20+ years because of waste and fraud.

    1. What an absolutely ridiculous comment. I’ll bet you also believe in unicorns. Better to remain quite than show the world how devoid of intelligence you are

  14. (This is related to my previous comment about Resistance to Trump administration)
    Just released news:
“The Supreme Court ruled on Friday [today, May 30] that the Trump administration can dismantle a Biden-era parole program that allowed approximately 500,000 migrants from certain countries to temporarily reside in the United States. The ruling overrides an injunction placed on this move by a lower court in April.”
The “lower court” here refers to Obama’s nominated Judge Indira Talwani. Just one of multiple “lower court” judges placing injunctions halting Trump’s reforms.
