As Chicago and other blue cities move toward reparations for African Americans, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D, Wa.) wants reparations for illegal immigrants for the trauma caused by immigration enforcement. At the same time, various Democrats are making clear that they want to entirely defund and eliminate Immigration and Customs Enforcement. So, after the Biden Administration allowed in millions over an open border, Democrats would eliminate ICE and some like Jayapal would pay illegal immigrants reparations.
Rep. Jayapal declared on Friday:
“They need to be brought before us, and they need to be held account [sic] for the trauma that they have created, and we are going to have to have some form of reparation for the kids and the families that have been traumatized through all of this.”
While not calling for reparations, other democrats have picked up the theme that someone has to pay for the trauma caused by immigration enforcement.
Rep. Maxine Dexter (D, Or.) echoed the mantra of Democratic members that “The administration has terrorized our communities and mine in the Willamette Valley.”
Rep. Christian Menefee (D-TX) told constituents, “I can’t imagine seeing my kid in a jail cell just because of where he was born, just because of what language he speaks at home.”
Jayapal fought back tears in her “shadow hearing” on Friday after calling for reparations, stating, “I still cannot believe that we are doing this to our own children.”
U.S.-born President Donald Trump is the outsider, Jayapal argued: “When the founders put into the Constitution the idea that Congress would have power, they assumed that the party that was in control of Congress would stand up to a dictatorial, authoritarian president.”
Jayapal did not mention the many American children killed by what she called “our” migrants.
The question becomes, if more groups get reparations, when does this become a form of wealth redistribution? Indeed, according to these members, much of the country has been traumatized by the Trump Administration. What is missing in cities like Chicago facing economic meltdowns is any notion of financial limits. Instead, Democrats are pushing tax hikes and wealth taxes to cover bloated budgets and growing deficits.
It is odd, but predictable, that leftists have always chanted that the constitution is a living, malleable, document that needs to adapt to the time BUT; in this instance they seem to cling to the original document like glue and are unwilling to adapt its interpretation to the times. The majority of us with common sense know that the framers did not anticipate a time of virtual invasion from our borders of all the worlds detritus being sent our way by not-so-friendly neighbors, nor did it anticipate tourist babies from such unfriendlies as china. Yes, I agree with the lefties that we need to interpret this document to suit this nefarious abuse of this phrase to allow citizenship via anchor babies via the back door invasion of our nation. What hypocrites, yet again, are the prog.dems – using any opportunity to weaken the original nature of this nation for their own advantage of gaining and maintaining power and treasure.
The Chinese have used anchor baby tourism to reportedly create a population of around one million Chinese babies born to Chinese Nationals while on US soil. These babies are taken back to China where they are raised and educated as Chinese citizens to adulthood and then sent back to America to claim their American citizenship. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. Wake the fk up America or it is OVER.
The way blacks were treated for generations in the land of the free is comparable to what nazis did to Jews and others. America must acknowledge that fact and apologize, formally. Total disgrace. Total hypocrisy what racists have done to this nation.

Last, not one native born Black person in the US was a slave, a practice that ended in 1865.

Slavery was always horrible, but remember, it was the English who ended slavery first, and America wasn’t far behind. Today, slavery continues in many places in the word and there is a type of white slavery in this country created by Joe Biden and the Democrats. That is in addition to the blacks that live on the Democrat plantation.

I lived in India in 1976-1978. One year, I tagged along with a humanitarian organization to go into the Delhi prison and bring a few toiletries, fruit and some other items to the foreign prisoners during Christmas.
There were nine foreigners. A couple were there for drug charges. The others? They simply overstayed their visas.
The inside of this prison was crude and dank. The conditions were (let’s say) not ideal. I was never so glad to get out of there.
Compare that to a U.S. prison or much better yet, how luxuriously the illegals are treated in this country. In some cases, they get better care than U.S. citizens.

When a US city defaults, who ends up paying the piper? It’s not like city-owned assets get sold off piece-by-piece until the city ceases to exist. That may happen eventually as a consequence, as city services are cut or local taxes are raised, and residents cut their losses and flee. There are plenty of examples of the federal government bailing out Democrat cities and government service employees union pension funds and other Democrat entities (art least if Democrats are currently in power), which smears out the cost to the entire country. But do those most responsible for the default end up paying a price, beyond perhaps losing a reelection or shaving a few percentage points off an overly-generous union retirement benefit? I suspect there is very little in the way of consequences for the responsible parties, which explains why Democrats never change their ways.

We need to pay reparations to the murders, rapist, violent assaulters, bank robbers, embezzlers, tax evaders, anyone that commits an illegal act for the trauma of the police targeting them, arresting them, putting them in jail, going to court, being convicted and put in prison.
Arresting people is just such a mean thing to do, it separates families, fathers and mothers from their children and robs them of learning the family criminality which they will need some day to get their reparations.
Everyone that has ever done something illegal or their family and anyone that does anything illegal from now should get reparations. That will also include anyone that entered the country illegally to that will no longer be a problem.
