Pelosi’s Monster: The Creation and Destruction of Eric Swalwell

Below is my column in the New York Post and the California Post on the Swalwell scandal. Last night, Fox40 just released a statement from “senior staff” in his offices that is crushing. According to the host of “Inside California Politics,” the Swalwell staffers declared that “Any decision of staff members to remain in their roles in the interim should not be viewed as support for Eric Swalwell…We, more than he, understand that we have obligations to the people we lead and to the constituents of California’s 14th Congressional District.”

Here is the column:

In Mary Shelley’s famous work, Dr. Frankenstein is asked, “Accursed creator! Why did you form a monster so hideous that even you turned from me in disgust?”

This week, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D. Calif.), the leading Democratic candidate for California governor, may wish he could ask that of former Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.). After sexual assault allegations were raised by former staff members, Pelosi, Sen. Adam Schiff (D., Calif.), and even his close friend (and former campaign chair) Sen. Ruben Gallego (D., Ariz.) have withdrawn their endorsements.

The fact, however, is that (regardless of the merits of these latest allegations), Swalwell was always a notorious figure in Washington who was constructed by Pelosi and others to serve their interests.

As Pelosi and his other allies now seek to destroy him, they cannot escape their hand in his creation.

Multiple women came forward this week to allege sexual assault and other potentially criminal acts by Swalwell. The first allegations came from a former staffer who said that she was raped twice by Swalwell, who had sex with her when she was too drunk to consent. Swalwell is denying the allegations.

Four women spoke to the Chronicle; one former staffer alleged that she tried to fight off Swalwell who left her bruised and bleeding after a rape. Even CNN, which eagerly featured Swalwell on programs as he attacked the Trump Administration, ran detailed accounts of another alleged assault in a hotel room. One of these accounts is from February of this year.

The accounts, if true, suggest that Swalwell is not just a sexual harasser but a sexual predator operating in plain view. One woman, Ally Sammarco, alleged that she (like other women) received nude photos of Swalwell as well as inappropriate social media messages.

Swalwell’s scandal is about as surprising in Washington as the return of the cicadas.

Swalwell was infamously accused of having an affair with an alleged Chinese spy named Fang Fang. His patron in Congress, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi, immediately moved to protect him, declaring, “I don’t have any concern about Mr. Swalwell.”

Pelosi even blocked efforts to remove him from the House Intelligence Committee despite obvious concerns that he was susceptible to blackmail over his sexual trysts.  She lashed out at those calling for his removal in the interests of national security, declaring “I do think that it is unfortunate that Mr. McCarthy is trying to make an issue of this.”

After sexual assault allegations were raised by former staff members, Pelosi, Sen. Adam Schiff and even his close friend (and former campaign chair) Sen. Ruben Gallego have withdrawn their endorsements.

What these women are describing is a politician who felt that he had a license to prey on female staffers. I wonder who gave him that impression?

For years, the Democratic establishment and the media ignored any rumors surrounding Swalwell because he was their useful monster, someone who was an attack dog always straining at the leash.

Swalwell was always the first to a mob. Indeed, he now hopes that voters will not apply the same standard he applied to figures like Justice Brett Kavanaugh. In his confirmation hearing, Kavanaugh faced an allegation of attempted rape from high school, and Swalwell had little patience for those of us arguing for a modicum of due process.

Swalwell said that Kavanaugh’s guilt was self-evident: “More and more cases that are separate and independent, that look the same, pretty soon a prosecutor starts to say to a jury … that the arrows are pointing in the same direction.”

On the Epstein matter, Swalwell demanded full disclosure and called legal concerns “bulls****” in a screaming match with FBI Director Kash Patel.

Recently, Swalwell took a different view on the release of his own FBI files from the Chinese spy scandal. In a cease and desist letter to prevent public disclosure, attorneys Norm Eisen and Sean Hecker warned Patel, “Your actions threaten to expose you, others at the FBI, and the FBI itself to significant legal liability.”

It is now a pile-on as Swalwell’s former enablers run for cover: even Gallego, who posed with Swalwell bare-chested on camels in Qatar. Notably, no one seemed concerned that the trade group US-Qatar Business Council spent more than $84,000 to fly Swalwell, Gallego, and their loved ones to Qatar for the luxurious trip.

The most obvious beneficiary of the scandal, Katie Porter, has denied any involvement with the woman who organized the disclosures against Swalwell. The irony is that Swalwell’s scandal will remove a candidate who has allegedly physically assaulted staffers in favor of a candidate who has verbally assaulted staffers.

The implosion of Eric Swalwell is raising questions about how so many close associates and friends could not have known about the rumors of his misconduct. Now, suddenly, Swalwell has no friends or allies after years of being praised by Pelosi and many in the media.

Mary Shelley made the point most vividly in Frankenstein that there is little difference between the creators and the monsters in such moments: “It is true, we shall be monsters, cut off from all the world; but on that account we shall be more attached to one another.”

  1. I really don’t understand these negative, challenging responses. Why, with Bill Clinton as president, don’t you expect a filthy, disgusting, farting, pathetic wuss to do exactly what gassy Swollohell did?
    Everybody he could.

    1. GET THIS: Swallowsmell actually convinced himself that a moderately attractive female, “Fang Fang”, was in to him! Ladies and Gentlemen, I ask you, I implore you, is this the type of mental-defective, stinkbug you want for dog catcher?

  2. One’s first response is to rejoice and revel in the demise of a man that most knew by gut instinct was a sorry SOB. But one must acknowledge that Swalwell is only one of multitudes who now are the ruling class in America. The lesson is at best sobering, at worst depressing.

  3. I didn’t know about Pelalugosi’s involvement with Swallwell.

whenever democrats act in unison, it’s been orchestrated: they have an ulterior motive for attacking this guy without any proof (where are those nude photos?), when Therapist Bill Clin-ton, et al, have been tolerated by feminazis. and don’t forget Chi Fi’s Chinese driver for decades. Senator Menendez poked pre-pubescent ‘prostitutes’ in the DR, Barney Frank ran gay boy prostitutes out of his basement, and democrats shrugged.

    A) where’s the proof?
    B) alcohol is an ancient weapon in the Great Navel Battles of history. you can hardly throw up your hands and cry horror when everybody knows that liquor is quicker. without his forcibly drugging these women, who actually poured all the booze down their throats? how do you ‘find’ yourself blotto?
    C) if the women speak true, why aren’t they spotlighted for having continued to tolerate the behavior for so long? why was it a good idea to let him get a pass repeatedly…and then suddenly it wasn’t? they got it when the going was good, and they’re getting it now on the flip side.
    D) what hypocrisy to pretend to be pure, when democrats have tolerated naked gays in public at San Francisco events, etc?

so, is what he did really illegal at all? and we cry FAKE at democrats’ pretense of moral goodness: they’re only trying to delude the voters; they do not care about what Swallwell did at all.

    1. Oddly they want Swalwell to out of the Governor race but not out of Congress. His crimes don’t matter if the Democrats lose a House seat. Santos was forced out before his trial for much less than Swalwell is accused of doing.

      1. They need to consolidate their side of the race in California or risk being shut out of the general election. That may be why they pounced together.

    2. @Anonymous

I think so too; it is, as ever, theater. Swallwell is likely small potatoes in his transgressions compared to others on the left, he’s just convenient, and as pointed out by others, he appears to be staying put in Congress. The modern DNC is a petri dish.

  4. JD Vance is on a historic roll:

He campaigns for AfD in Germany – they lose.

Invited the Pope to come to US for Trump’s big event – Pope refuses.

Leads peace negotiations with Iran – fails miserably.

Campaigns in Hungary for Orbán – who gets smoked.

    1. If you had the job of getting Iran to give up its nuclear ambitions and its ballistic missile program, what would you have done differently to get them to agree to that?

      1. But Trump has already announced multiple times that Iran’s nuclear facilities and military capability have been TOTALLY OBLITERATED !!!!!

So what exactly is Vance negotiating about, if everything has been obliterated ??????

Are you suggesting that Trump is lying, and Iran still has nuclear capabilities ??????

        1. That doesn’t sound like an answer to my question. But it is the typical juvenile Dem talking point, not meant to engage in actual discussion.

It is also dishonest. Iran has not sat on its hands since last June, and new intel reports come in all the time. Furthermore, in more recent negotiations with Kushner and Witkoff, Iran bragged it had 560 kg of 60% enriched, which could be raised to 90% in less than two weeks. That’s enough for 11 nukes. And with its recent missiles fired toward Diego Garcia, Iran has demonstrated that it can reach most European capitals already, and it will be able to reach the United States’s mainland not too long from now.

But you are too focused on stupid, useless, childish talking points to actually be concerned that a genocidal death cult that is dedicated to destroying America might actually get that capability. Your only goal is to say “Muh! Trump!” GFY, child. The adults have real work to do.

          1. So you agree that Trump is lying when he repeatedly states that Iran’s nuclear facilities and military capability have been totally obliterated.

If, as you say, Iran has 560kg of 60% enriched uranium that they could enrich to 90% in less than 2 weeks, then clearly Trump is lying.

Why can’t you just admit that he is lying ????

            1. Try a high school freshman English class, you idiot

Institute for Science and International Security President David Albright: “Overall, Israel’s and U.S. attacks have effectively destroyed Iran’s centrifuge enrichment program. It will be a long time before Iran comes anywhere near the capability it had before the attack.”

Did Trump say their uranium was gone?
Did he say they can’t buy new centrifuges? Did he say they had no intention of starting over?
Did you ever hear a coach say, “Gee, we really devastated those woke punks! They couldn’t stop our offense.” It is in that vein you stupid fool.

Trump is a Salesman more that anything else. Salesmen love to amplify the good and minimize the not-so-good. America has never had a politician like him. Ever.

Another problem you have, and it’s your biggest and the thing that will keep you stuck in mediocrity at best, is your inability to shed one tear for Laken Riley. That is why everyone hates you passionately and you will never succeed. Pretty simple.

              1. Saying that Trump is salesmen who loves to amplify the good and minimize the not-so-good is just a roundabout way of saying that he is a liar.
Do you take used car salesmen at their word ??
                No, they are liars !!!

                1. Oh! Now I see. I apologize.

You mean Trump is just like “I’m a knucklehead, Walz.” And “Holy issued a pardon to his son reversing his previous, long-standing pledge, Joe.” My error.

                  1. 9th grade English. Hyperbole. Define it. Simile. Define it.

                    Communication styles.

You see, you lied. I mentioned specifics to address the nonsense you wrote. You couldn’t refute anything. You ran away, changed the subject and I destroyed, no I obliterated your stupid reply. You don’t think so, but that is because you are an uneducated idiot.

President Franklin Roosevelt promised publicly that Americans would not fight in foreign wars while privately preparing the U.S. for conflict. “We will not participate in foreign wars,” while actively aiding the Allies through the “Arsenal of Democracy”

                    1. Is FDR still President? There’s no use mentioning a case for responding to a war that is active versus creating a war out of thin air.

              2. Trump said he stopped them completely and now says he didn’t stop them at all.

Pick a lie and stick with it.

        2. Here is a much better example of the filthy lies Trump is famous for. He told the astronauts live, while on their mission, that the whole world was watching them. Imagine that. He said every single human being on the planet, infants, blind folks, people sleeping, people undergoing surgery and their surgeons, all who were driving, airline pilots, subway ticket takers, were watching. Can you believe that guy?

        3. “But Trump has already announced multiple times that Iran’s nuclear facilities and military capability have been TOTALLY OBLITERATED !!!!!”
Correct. Nor outside of the far left is that disputed.

The destruction of Iran’s nuclear program does not stop them from rebuilding it.

What Trump requires is an enforceable commitment to never build nuclear weapons

“So what exactly is Vance negotiating about, if everything has been obliterated ??????”
Vance is demanding that Iran agree enforceably to never develop nuclear weapons.

“Are you suggesting that Trump is lying, and Iran still has nuclear capabilities ??????”
They have the capability to start over and eventually get to a nuclear weapon.
The destruction of Irans nuclear program does not preclude Iran from developing nukes again in the future.

Just like burning your home down does not prevent you from rebuilding it.

          1. John Say is back. What happened to the other John say?

The way to accomplish Iran never having a nuke is to kill every Iranian on the planet. Trump needs to start by rounding up and mass slaughtering of Iranians followed by a full nuclear strike on Iran – 500 hydrogen bombs should be a start.

That is what Trump wants to do, what Trump wrote that he would do.

John Say – supporter of obliterating a civilization.

      2. No one gave Trump that job. Those voting for Trump wanted lower fuel, food, and housing prices. He has now managed to increase all of those. No part of the US is endangered by Iran having a nuclear weapon, but the plans of Israel to continue to use Iran as a political target backed with military abuse are endangered. Israel has dropped, in conventional bombs, the equivalent of 13 Hiroshima sized nukes on Gaza alone. It is Israel and their “From the Euphrates to the Mediterranean Sea” plan that is the danger.

        1. “No part of the US is endangered by Iran having a nuclear weapon,”

Why do you say that. A nuclear weapon in their hands immediately become nuclear blackmail and in a short time a nuclear threat to US territory and a little longer to mainland US.

What don’t you understand about Iran’s use of the words “Death to America” or the killing of our troops in Lebanon or the hostages held? Did you not note that in approximately one day they killed about 30,000 citizens? What don’t you understand about their own terrorist groups who kill everyone including Americans? What don’t you understand about their support to other terrorist groups whil kill Americans?

    2. Magyar ran on people’s dissatisfaction with every day issues: public transport, healthcare. Orban has been in charge for 16 years. He was hardly the candidate offering a change.

    1. That looked like Israelis watching Gazan apartments being brought down on the women and children. Then I realized they weren’t raising glasses of wine in celebration.

    1. Kobachar’s aide. Swalwell is blaming MAGA. Did Pelosi and Kobachar recently join MAGA?
      LOL

  5. I believe Iran also uses sexual assault as a form of political control but I bet they never imagined utilizing it to the sophisticated extent the dems have.

  6. Perhaps the core Swalwell story is fairly simple and doesn’t need much elaboration: the political attack on him appears aimed at thinning the field of Democratic candidates in California’s gubernatorial race. Because the state uses a top-two primary system—where the two highest vote-getters advance to the general election regardless of party—reducing the number of Democratic contenders could increase the chances that only one, and possibly not even two, Democrats make it onto the general election ballot.

    1. but California is a closed state: democrats have it locked up by registration and locked down by voter fraud, so the dem nominee will get the seat. Swallwell must’ve been too rogue for the powers’ trust.

      1. Both Republicans are polling 2 pts higher than Swalwell and are the top two candidates, he was at 12% and was third in line. That means should that trend hold, the two candidates would both be Republicans. There would be zero Demowits on the ballot.

  7. This whole thing speaks less of the entire democrat party in CA than it does of Swalwell, even if he’s guilty!
Swalwell looks like a mere sex offender vs. the California power-mad political machine that grinds humans in it’s tracks and ignores principles like ‘voters’ deciding things and other protections humans are supposed to have in our republic.
Swalwell is the literal underdog now because they are so transparent in their evil machinations. I encourage him to STAY in the race! lol

    1. And how’s that California $130 billion train to nowhere? It’s supposed to be high speed, so I guess it’s going nowhere fast. I wonder if that or the medicaid fraud is a bigger theft of taxpayer dollars.

      1. CA could have installed a water pipeline from the Columbia River for a fraction of the cost, a la William Mulholland.

CA needs water; CA does not need high-speed rail for ~15% of its population.

        1. But then the money would go to infrastructure instead of graft. That’s NOT the commiefornia way.

      2. People way underestimated the difficulty of creating a right of way through the center of the state. It was nimbytacular.

  8. Same victim playbook as the Epstein affair. Wait and make money off it. “Go for the GOLD”
No one would “Go broke” by reporting a crime such as this to ‘the police’, when it has such a huge possible later payoff (political or Ca$h!).
Same reason she hung onto that dress way back. Democrats only have dirty tricks, mob violence and nothing to else to offer America.
What a circus their ‘machine’ is.

  9. Turley frequently champions “due process” for conservative figures, yet here he labels Swalwell a “sexual predator” based on uncorroborated reports before a single investigation has concluded. He is guilty of the exact “rush to judgment” he claims to despise.

Seems more of political hit job. A very common one. Similar allegations haven’t been thrown about before any real allegation has been thoroughly investigated. Turley sure seems eager to exploit the allegations instead of waiting for the real results.

The sudden appearance of these allegations—some years old—on the absolute “eve of an election” while Swalwell was the frontrunner suggests a coordinated hit piece rather than a search for justice. Weaponizing anonymous claims weeks before a vote is a tactic designed to deny the accused any time to clear their name.

Of course there is the reliance on the peanut gallery here theorizing and jumping to conclusions and declaring guilt is all too familiar. Strangely they seem to be perfectly fine when allegations against republicans and Trump are brought out. At least this shows Democrats still dems do accountability. Republicans who’s to shirk it. Typical.

    1. The political hit job is coming from Swalwell’s own party. They want him out of the governors race and are more than willing to sacrifice him. The Democrats could care less about Swalwell’s crimes, but they do care about diluting the vote and two Republicans winning their weird ana whacky open primary and only having two Republicans in the runoff election.

    2. Work on you reading and comprehension. Nowhere does Turely say Swalwell is guilty and he uses the word allegedly liberally in his article. What he does say is the left created Swalwell and the left now wants him gone

These are the same people that just weeks ago refused to release the files on all the Congress people that have had been pay outs because of their sexual hijinks. That includes Democrats, Republicans, men and women. They are willing to expose Swalwell while keeping their own wrong doings from the public.

You should be more concerned about that than Mr. Turely’s ethics which are just fine.

      1. Ano
Work on you reading and comprehension. Nowhere does Turely say Swalwell is guilty and he uses the word allegedly liberally in his article. What he does say is the left created Swalwell and the left now wants him gone
        ____________________________
What ever made you think X/geroge knew how to read. (-:

    3. So X, you supporting Swalwell or not?
“a tactic designed to deny” is the REAL topic here, the democrat party is the Dr. Frankenstein in this example, You remember he created a monster that wrought havoc? That’s the analogy (Swalwell would do well as “Dr. Jeckyl / Mr. Hyde” tho, that works too).
and.. I’m glad you agree with me that Swalwell should stay in the race! LOL

      1. It gives the Republicans their best chance of gaining the governor, so yes I am all for Swalwell staying in the race. The Democrats want him out, not the Republicans. Of course I know from your comments you are always very uninformed.

    4. X: thank you. This stinks so bad, given the fact that Trump continues to conceal half of the Epstein files, the credible pedophilia accusations, Trump’s adjudication for sexual assault, bragging about sexually assaulting women and the timing of the allegations, with Turley proceeding to label Swalwell as a “sexual predator” before any investigation, is just more proof of Turley’s lack of objectivity.

Turley has never directed any such commentary about Trump, who has dozens more women alleging that he sexually assaulted them, as well as claims that he had trysts with a nude model and a porn actress. His first ex-wife testified that he raped her before he purchased her silence with a hefty divorce settlement that included a NDA. But all someone has to do is accuse a Democrat of sexual misconduct and Turley takes the allegations as established fact. He even goes after Pelosi— all before any investigation. That’s what MAGA money purchases. No wonder only MAGA publications print the swill he writes.

    5. “Turley frequently champions “due process” for conservative figures, yet here he labels Swalwell a “sexual predator” based on uncorroborated reports before a single investigation has concluded. He is guilty of the exact “rush to judgment” he claims to despise. Seems more of political hit job.”

You are a liar, and everything you say is suspect Here is what Turley said; quite the opposite of your implications and what Turley actually said. Note the word allegations and who is making the allegations.

“After sexual assault allegations were raised by former staff members, Pelosi, Sen. Adam Schiff (D., Calif.), and even his close friend (and former campaign chair) Sen. Ruben Gallego (D., Ariz.) have withdrawn their endorsements.”__Turley

GSX is a serial slanderer. Then he insults the reader with his own lies.

      1. Take a look at the title of today’s little potty piece and the general tenor of what Turley wrote — that clearly assumes that Swalwell is guilty—-before any investigation. Throwing in the occasional qualifier does not mitigate the intended overall message, which necessarily assumes Swalwell is guilty.

And, BTW, Swalwell just suspended his campaign for governor.

Nor does this piece minimize the damage Trump continues to do to the world’s economy and the fact that Turley has lost any credibility by choosing to be a paid MAGA pundit and looking for something, anything, to divert attention away from Trump’s utter incompetence and publishing biased pieces like this one.

Now your fat hero is threatening to blockade the Strait of Hormuz as of 10:00 am tomorrow morning—-all because Vance and Kushner fell flat on their faces and couldn’t bully Iran. The deal Trump tore up took years to negotiate and Obama didn’t have to drop any bombs to get it over the finish line.

Oil futures are already up and they’re saying that we’ll be nostalgic for gas at only $4 or $5 a gallon. The stock market will slide back even more.

    6. The candidate polling third cannot really be called “the frontrunner;” in California’s jungle primary.

    7. What Turley said:
“The accounts, if true, suggest that Swalwell is not just a sexual harasser but a sexual predator operating in plain view.”
      How X read it:
” here he labels Swalwell a “sexual predator” based on uncorroborated reports before a single investigation has concluded. He is guilty of the exact “rush to judgment” he claims to despise.”
“If true,” and “suggest,” contain no nuance for X

  10. The shared loneliness of outcasts creates an unbreakable bond.

“It is true, we shall be monsters, cut off from all the world; but on that account we shall be more attached to one another.”

  11. Maybe new laws would help. Make it a misdemeanor for males to be alone with females outside of marriage at work and otherwise. If the crime, allegation isn’t reported within 48 hours it never happened, ER evidence within 24 hours.

Should solve it. Oh, and within the jurisdiction of the US and any other country on earth.

It’s pretty much anything goes as the new normative or as KBJ would say, on the spectrum.

    1. I was too drunk to consent. 🤔

After she was sober she thought, I would never consent to that creepy guy?

      1. Doesn’t really matter what she thought later. Anyone unconscious due to substance abuse – whether drugs or alcohol – is legally unable to consent to anything, let alone a sexual act.

        1. How will women kearn to report via ER, police, doctor if it isn’t forced reporting? Unreported crimes taking place must be addressed. It is necessary at this point to force report. Silence is tacit trade off. It must be addressed.

          1. ^^ learn, not Kearn

It says she’s unsure of the part she played, the drunkenness. She left Swallwell to do it again. It must be reported or it’s slanderous accusations.

Accusations cannot stand without evidence of the SPECIFIC crime. It happened to someone else is the evidence of the crime of unreported crime with evidence. Women must be trained or educated to immediately report with evidence. Good grief…

        2. Due process, Madame, we don’t have slander, libel as evidence unless the charges are brought with evidence before a court of law. Perjury? You’ve heard of it?

          Address the reporting issue.

        3. you grant women license to lie with impunity: I knocked down a few and I can get away with saying anything.

‘…due to substance abuse…’ this is weaselly ‘passive voice,’ which does not name the actor. she abused the substance, and remains responsible for her words and deeds.

do you support the democrats’ southern laws allowing one red-neck on the jury of a trial of a white man who is accused of killing a black man to hang the jury up with his not guilty vote, making it impossible to convict a white man of murdering a black man…in place because everybody knew about it and it served to ‘control’ black men as one false word from a white woman could get that man lynched? do you support that pre-1970’s policy in the south (by democrats, I remind)?

        4. ” Anyone unconscious due to substance abuse – whether drugs or alcohol – is legally unable to consent to anything, let alone a sexual act.”

Unconscious, or merely impaired? Was one party impaired significantly more than the other? If not, is the impaired party who initiated the activity a criminal, while the other party is legally blameless? Would that depend on the degree to which one party initiated and the other responded? There is a lot of moral (if not legal) ambiguity there, particularly years after the alleged event(s) occurred…

  12. They want Swalwell out because of the open primary. He is leading the field for the Democrats but they know he can’t win the general. That means the two Republicans would most likely win the two top spots for the runoff election as the Democrats split the vote. If they can push Swalwell out his voters more than likely go to the other two leaders putting those two in the top spots for the runoff election. If Swalwell stays in the Republicans will win California for the first time in 16 years. Just more Democratic cheating the system to win.

    1. 😂 as if there’s fair elections. 😂. Some sheriff doesn’t believe it…Bonta to the rescue.

  13. What this hypocrisy by both sides require is an independent justice system, not controlled by any political party, not controlled by any president.

  14. Swalwell is an attack dog, no thoughts of his own born and bred by Pelosi. He’s a disgusting human and appears he’s had a free for all in his office. His wife so far has stood by his side. How long? She is getting paid to run a daycare for his own children. That’s a scam in itself. There are many more attack dogs being protecting by the democrat machine.

  15. Eric Swalwell is finally being hoisted by his own petard, and very deservedly so. He is an immoral, unethical, and intellectually dishonest human being that is no longer useful to to the Party, or it leadership. He is now a man without that any political benefactors that will defend his deviant behavior.

  16. While I have been long convinced that Swalwell is scum, can we take a moment to consider how fast this happened? This didn’t happen organically with one person coming forward that emboldened others. This wasn’t something that developed and people examined the evidence of the allegations and made up their own minds. This was obviously coordinated, and the responses happened immediately with no examination or interrogation of the allegations. I’m initially skeptical of allegations that come out years or even decades after the fact. Memories get fuzzy, evidence is lost, and it is frequently impossible to make a determination one way or another. (A perfect example is the Kavanaugh circus, where the evidence and testimony presented was downright farcical)

This is the exact same playbook as the recent Cesar Chavez thing. Chavez was communist scum, so I didn’t care at all, but I was rather amazed at how overnight this nearly messianic figure of the left was simply erased. And this seems to be a pattern now. Given how powerfully this is working, I fear we’re entering an era where anyone can simply be annihilated overnight through a coordinated hit campaign.

    1. Chavez was a strong opponent of and spoke out against illegal aliens and illegal immigration. QED.
CA governor race? If the Republicans were ever allowed to be in the top two I’d be listening for Gabriel’s trumpet.CA is our NORK.

  17. Spare me the fake crocodile tears. At least the Ds shun abusers. Republicans are the opposite they have no problem with people who sexually assault, rape, or child abuse. Republicans keep them in office and keep electing them.

    1. Democrats have no problem calling people pedophiles without a shred of evidence, other than a hoax perpetrated by a Jerry Springer Show producer — the Rev. “Bud” Green — exposed by The Guardian a decade ago.

    2. Clearly you have no evidence. Are you here just “keeping this going” or do you have TDS driving your thoughts?
have you been watching MSNOW again when your therapist told you no to?

  18. Thank you, Professor Turley; you made my Sunday!

Swalwell was also a regular on MSNBC. Regarding legal concerns as bovine manure, does he not have a law degree?

Perhaps we can put Swalwell and BFF Gallego on the same deportation plane as those 5,000 students from the Russian Federation whom they want to “kick out.”

PS – Love the graphics. We can pity the monster in Shelley’s novel and the films, especially Karloff’s heartbreaking portrayal in The Bride of Frankenstein. Swalwell deserves the torches and pitchforks.
