15734757_240x180.jpg15736181_240x180.jpg Jennifer Latham was arrested yesterday is an extraordinary crime in Florida. After parents allegedly stopped her from stealing their baby while pretending to be a nurse, she simply grabbed another baby and walked out of the hospital. She was caught later and the baby returned. She now faces charges that could keep her in jail for decades.

Latham is accused of taking the baby from the Central Florida Regional Hospital on Friday afternoon and was arrested at a rest stop at Interstate 4 and 434.

The first parents became suspicious when she told them that the baby needed tests that the baby already had and they took the baby back from her. She then took a 1-day-old, Asian-descent infant boy weighing 6 pounds.

The police appear to have a pretty solid case with videos of her not just taking the baby but changing into scrubs to look like a nurse.
