Whatever You Do, Don’t Do . . . Bang!

In Riverdale, Utah, a police chief named Dave Hansen was showing officers how to properly (read improperly) unjam a weapon when shot himself. In the meantime, a man who waved around a gun in a road rage incident succeeded in shooting himself by mistake.

The 54-year-old sheriff was shot in the ankle and taken to a hospital for a wounded foot and ego. For the full story, click here.

In Arizona, 33-year-old David Lopez was engaged in road rage, waving his gun around when he shot himself. Now, in addition to a stomach wound, he faces possible charges for disorderly conduct, reckless display of a firearm and felony flight from police. For the full story, click here.

    Dang, out of 260 MILLION firearms lawfully in the hands of Americans, a couple accidents are bound to happen from time to time. Guess it is time to ban them, eh?? LOL.
