I love this video from Phoenix, Arizona. There have been the usual complaints from both camps about vandals ruining or taking signs. Now, one of these creeps has been caught on tape and is now the subject of a police complaint. As these videos reveal, this was not a unique occurrence.
In this case in Arizona, Obama supporters were so upset with continued thefts that they bought surveillance equipment.

I recommend a “change of meaning” for signs. My conservative neighbor’s sign” Another Family for McCain was mysteiously changed to: Another Hippie for Nader complete with peace signs etc., papercliped over the original. I don’t know how that happened!
How about Obama/Biden and hanging underneath the sign–”The Marx Brothers”! (It’s important to keep your sign modifications as accurate relections of the opponents’ views.)
The guy who stole the Obama sign was caught red-handed and should be prosecuted and punished accordingly, and it makes me wonder about the scope of the problem. The McCain camp’s complaints about sign theft and vandalism, however, are unsubstantiated. The camp is probably stealing and vandalizing its own signs in a cynical attempt to link Obama to the problem. Moreover, by complaining, the McCain camp comes off as overly hostile to expressive political speech. Given the seriousness of the problem, I think a Congressional inquiry is warranted. This is nothing less than voter suppression.
I may be wrong, but it looked an awful like the same woman and same car in the two last videos.
