Marital Splat: Man Charged with Driving Around With Wife on Roof

Now this makes for an interesting vehicular assault charge: the victim was not in front of the car or even under the car, but on its roof. Diamond Mircea, 29, of Islip Terrace, N.Y., is charged with assault and drunk driving when he took off with his wife, Monica Mircea, 25, on the roof of his car. She fell off a block later. They were only recently married though the minister may have left out the reservation of “Till Brakes Do Us Apart.”

It appears that even in a place called “I slip”, one if not allowed to drive with your spouse on top of the car, even with a tarpaulin or straps.

The two newlyweds fought early Sunday morning before their marital splat.

  1. Bartlebee,

It was funny. They have another good one, which doesn’t quite hang together, on Obama-Jesus, (but I get where they’re going with that).

  2. whoolibacon,

Well G. Gordon Liddy did it! I think he found some kids smoking dope in a truck, which offended him greatly. As he approached them they drove off. He tried to grab their truck and stop it. If it’s good enough for G. Gordon it’s good enough for any patriot!

BTW the Redstate guys had another one for you on McCain’s medical records–being how they were in Sanskrit

    lol

  4. rafflaw,
“Only an effective world government could provide sufficient law and have the power to control these destructive forces” (quote by Lloyd). I cannot believe you would even mention a “one worlder”. You are dead to me!

BTW the Redstate guys had another one for you on McCain’s medical records–being how they were in Sanskrit and had to be deciphered–they showed doctors had to drill a whole in his head as a child, “to let all the demons out”!!!

  5. Jill,

“Honking.” Perfect description. But it also could be from the simply stunning zirconium collection…2 pounder 89.95.

Still pondering why one would climb on the roof of a car to continue an argument…

  6. whooliebacon,

Speaking of diamonds–I went to a talk by the curator of Crystal Springs Museum; funded, very handsomely thank you, by the Waltons of AK. Ms. Walton was on video to speak about Walmart’s generosity. She wore the biggest, honking diamond (I think that’s what it was) I have ever seen. It looked like the evil twin of the Hope Diamond.

  7. Here is an example of a couple of loving, intelligent souls. The real bad news is that they already have bred. It always is a good time to have a marital “discussion” when one or more of the parties is drunk. It always leads to a great resolution of the issue(s)causing their marital strife.
