There was a wonderfully ironic moment in the White House as reporters spared with Press Secretary Josh Earnest who has been often criticized for less than forthcoming statements to the media. Now “Siri” is getting in the act as she was heard in the midst of the press conference saying “Sorry, I’m not sure what you want me to change.” It seemed for a moment like Earnest had developed a second persona.
A reporter had asked whether President Obama was “upset” he couldn’t get any Republicans on board with the Iranian deal. Before Earnest could answer, you can hear Siri respond “Sorry, I’m not sure what you want me to change.”
The fact is that, given the reputations of press conferences at the White House these days, the reporters would be better to simply “ask Siri anything.”

I myself do enjoy kabuki theater like the US Press conferences.
Given their shared politics, I’d prefer that the Press, the Press Secretary and Siri all took turns “asking” and “answering” questions.
As it stands, their predictability makes me a bit bored. #AskedAndAnswered
