Advocacy groups will sometimes compete for members by moving to the far extreme of an issue. As we have discussed, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is a good example. NARAL Pro-Choice has proven itself equally extreme in its message at times. The recent video parody entitled “Comedians in Cars Getting Abortions” is a good example. The video makes fun to seeking an abortion and refers to children as if they virtual vermin.
NARAL Pro-Choice released the Internet video as a parody of Jerry Seinfeld’s popular web show “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.” It stars actress Alice Wetterlund from HBO’s “Silicon Valley” and standup comic Nato Green. When asked why she wanted an abortion, Wetterlund says “I want an abortion because my body is doing a thing right now, that is not incubating a person, and I would like it to continue doing that thing.” She then points with disgust to nearby children and says that a child just slapped his father in the face. Wetterlund declares “Yea, we don’t need more of this in the world” and Green replies “Good point.”
If pro-life advocates wanted a promotional video, NARAL just gave it to them.
I hope that those that have a God that they may ask forgiveness in that God’s name, do so.

That’s what I been asking of Black Lives Matter! And howcum they choke on a few cop-kills-thug deaths, and swallow Chiraq without so much as a hiccup.
And of the Gaystapo and the whiny gay lobby! Who cry and moan every time ISIS chunks a few fruits off a building, but ignore the 80 or so gay dudes given the HIV bug every night in America because a condom is just too much trouble.

I guess it really depends on what one considers the definition of “Accident” to be.
Was it God’s choice to make one procreate, but not God’s choice to make one neglect the safety of his fellow humans?
Seems pretty selective to me, this value some put on life.
Most people find abortion jokes in poor taste, uncomfortable, and not funny. I agree that if the video is as described, it will merely illustrate the extremist, callous nature of NARAL, and turn people off. I also agree that this has dragged Toyota into their mess, as it is clearly emulating a Toyota commercial.
Dark humor can be satirical, cutting, and a commentary on tough issues. This is a good example of dark humor done wrong.

Prairie Rose – I was only in part of the conversation with Annie, so I don’t know why she left or if she was banned. One way or the other she disappeared.
Seeing the light on Conservative issues fits in nicely with a belief system not one of empirical reality.
If 40 % of all traffic fatalities are caused by drunk drivers what causes the other 60%?
Where is the outrage over that loss of life of innocent people at the hands of people who intentionally neglected the safety of others by operating their vehicles unsafely?
Did you want to put a value on deceased driver’s lives? How much tax revenue and consumer spending did they forfeit thru their untimely demise?
I guess those 60%ers are just another liberal death squad trolling the highways committing murder aren’t they?
A life is a life regardless, right?
Conservatives do not conserve, they preach untenable outcomes contrary to human behavior because their positions can never be proven valid in a working system.
Must be great to know that one is always on the side of right but never have to prove it.

OK, I think Jesus is talking about the Democratic Party, and its War on the Family. You know the whole “families come in all shapes and sizes” meme so that people won’t blame black people for their 75% illegitimate birth rate and their 75% refusal to get married. “Hate their father”, heck, things are so bad in the hood, that lots of the kids aren’t even sure who their baby daddy is. So how can they even hate them??? And the part about hating your own children is the pro-abortion stuff, of course.

Alternatively, I choose to believe that she finally saw the light, and became a conservative on social issues. Then, she was so embarrassed over her previous life of sheer lunacy, that she went to a convent for a while to work her way through the transition to sanity. Currently, she is working for the Trump campaign in Wisconsin. That is what I believe.

Steve Groen was probably referring to the courtesy of not criticizing someone in their own house and the blog is kind of like Professor Turley’s house, his space. Speaks well of Steve. That said, I think Professor Turkey (dang it! Turley!) would not be bothered by fair and courteous criticism, even in his “house”. I ought not speak for him, but he seems like a fair-minded man.
Prairie Rose – Annie’s fight with JT was neither courteous or fair. And it went on forever, it seemed. So she suddenly disappeared.
Advocating free speech doesn’t mean you have to provide the venue.
You’re always free to shout insults at random passersby from your own blog or street corner.

Seems like yesterday. But the song dives into the whole bowl of stew when we address the topic of human babies being born all the time. All the dime on my dime. Aid To Dependent Children is really theft by obnoxious children having children too early so they can get their check.
