High-Ranking Justice Official Involved In Email Investigation Found To Have Close Friendship and Ties With Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta

kadzik-peters-_1220px-john_podestaThe Justice Department is under fire for allowing the involvement in the investigation of a high-ranking official with close ties to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. Now, in the latest disclosure of emails, it appears that Peter Kadzik, the assistant attorney general for legislative affairs, proved tips to Podesta on developments in the email controversy.

A May 19, 2015 email from Podesta’s account was hacked by Wikileaks or its cohort. These emails have given the public a vision into how our government works from media figures secretly helping the Clinton campaign to Democratic officials trying to rig the primary to sycophants currying favor from the expected winner of the election. Despite the low regard of the public for Washington, the emails have shown the situation to be far, far worse in what I previously called America’s Game of Thrones election.

Now this email shows the close relationship between Kadzik and Podesta where the former gives Podesta a “heads up” about several developments in the Clinton email case. He tells Podesta “There is a [House Judiciary Committee] oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify.” That is likely a piece of public information but the communication still raises question of propriety. Then there is this: “Likely to get questions on State Department emails. Another filing in the [Freedom of Information Act] case went in last night or will go in this am that indicates it will be awhile (2016) before the State Department posts the emails.”

Kadzik has been in the lead with Congress on communications about the investigation. In the letter to Congress, he promised that the Justice Department “will continue to work closely with the FBI and together, dedicate all necessary resources and take appropriate steps as expeditiously as possible.”

Kadzik went to Georgetown law school with Podesta and has remained close friends. Kadzik also reportedly was part of a controversial dinner after Hillary Clinton testified before Congress on Benghazi with Podesta, deal maker Vincent Roberti and other powerful figures. The dinner was a the expensive Posto restaurant. Kadzik also was reportedly a dinner guest at Podesta’s home and Podesta helped Kadzik’s son in his seeking a job on the Clinton campaign.

Kadzik also represented Podesta during the Monica Lewinsky investigation. Podesta was accused of making false statements to a grand jury but was not prosecuted. He insisted that he merely repeated false statements from Bill Clinton. Kadzik also lobbied Podesta on behalf of Marc Rich in the Clinton pardon scandal. His client was Rich, a billionaire financier who was wanted by the U.S. government for evading a $48 million tax bill.

In a 2008 letter, Podesta described Kadzik as a“Fantastic lawyer. Kept me out of jail.”

The fact is that it does not appear that Kadzik is directing the investigation as assistant attorney general for legislative affairs. However, it is incredible that Kadzik would not recuse himself for any involvement in this matter in light of his relationship with Podesta. He remains an attorney subject to the ethical rules of the Justice Department. It is hard to see how his involvement avoids conflicts or the appearance of a conflict.

  1. The story behind the story you’re not hearing on the news. Someday this will make a great movie. How will it end? We don’t know yet. Will she be President of the United States of America or charged with a crime or neither of these? Some have been saying it all along – the private email server was to protect and hide the Clinton Foundation shenanigans while Hillary was Secretary of State. The corruption and collusion goes higher and deepaer than I thought. Take the time to read this. The intersection of the Clinton Foundation probes – the AG Loretta Lynch and the decision made by FBI Director James Comey last week. Must read==>

  2. https://www.rawstory.com/2016/11/witness-trump-also-raped-12-year-old-and-used-her-disappearance-to-threaten-another-victim/ “A witness who’s backing a woman’s child rape claims against Donald Trump also accused the Republican presidential nominee of sexually assaulting another, even younger girl.

Trump is due to appear in federal court Dec. 16 for a status conference after a judge allowed the lawsuit, which seeks $75,000 in damages, to move forward.” This is heating up.

        1. Her attorney happens to be Gloria Allred’s daughter.
I previously reviewed Ms. Allred’s history of last minute stunts before elections, with 11th hour allegations against Swarzenegger, Meg Whitman, Mitt Romney, etc.
Norm Lubow, former producer for the Jerry Springer show, was an early promoter of the rape accusation against Trump.
Not sure if he’s still involved or not, but maybe he can make an appearance at the press conference with them.

        2. “The woman is going to have a press conference with her attorney today”.
Turned out to be the biggest non-event of the day.
If they’re going to try this thing in the press before Tuesday’s election, they need to either s*** or get off the pot.

          1. tnash – I was taught the expression was “shoot, sh*t, or get off the pot.” 😉

  3. Donna Brazile is the prefect face for the head of the DNC! Telling you what a good, Christian woman she is (aka her “public position”) and behind the scenes (aka her “private position”) she is lying, cheating, stealing, and deceiving.

The above story just goes to prove it!

    Squeeky Fromm
    Girl Reporter

    1. Spot on as usual Squeek. Brazile exemplifies all that’s wrong with the black establishment pols. I can’t imagine Nina Turner being so dishonest – that’s why she was not allowed to speak at the DNC convention – they were terrified of what she would say.

        1. You must be quite pleased that your KKK newspaper endorsed Trump. It is one of the few endorsements he received.

          1. Hillary’s mentor and dear friend Robert Byrd was a KKK grand poobah or something. Doesn’t that connection matter too?

            1. He’s long dead and renounced them. These Trump KKK supporters are quite active these days. David Duke is running for office as a Trump backer. I hear Obama talking about Trump and the Klan on the TV now.

            2. Stranger than that. The second incarnation of the Klan grew from nothing in 1919 to a seven digit membership by 1922, thence to a five digit membership by 1935. It was a fad organization. Robert Byrd began organizing Klaverns in West Virginia in 1942. The Klan was quite passe at that time, so his work was rather like organizing War Bond rallies in Los Angeles ca. 1963. The national agency dissolved in 1944. I don’t know what happened to his local Klaverns. One other thing. West Virginia is part of the upland South and has a small black population (about 3.5% of the total); race relations were never that important there. Ted Kennedy blathered that he joined the Klan to get elected, which was a dopey (or mendacious) remark. Neither Byrd’s predecessor in the Senate (Chapman Revercomb) nor the senior Senator from WVa (Jennings Randolph) were hostile to blacks in the way Byrd was during his first dozen years in Congress, quite the contrary. There likely was not anywhere after about 1930 where Klan membership would have been much of an asset to a politician (bar some moldy pockets of Mississippi).

          2. Gov. Niki Haley of SC just unendorsed HRC and endorsed Trump. She says Trump’s policies are better

ALL of the newspapers/pols/business moguls/think tanks/columnists/academics who endorse HRC are all in favor of global corporate rule and of course the “virtues” of the TPP

        2. Squeek that is hilarious! Someone find that good Christian woman a real job! Surely there are some openings in her LA parish for school cross walk assistants or something.

      1. Brazile is a Louisiana Catholic. She can go to confession for her venial sin.

    2. I don’t know….Donna Brazile was a CNN political commentator, not news anchor or reporter. Same with Van Jones. They were there to represent their faction and I don’t see how anyone could have assumed they were supposed to be neutral. Maybe CNN should do a better job of explaining the difference, but I always saw her as a left wing Clintonista, albeit more polite and well spoken than some of the shrieking, braying obnoxious partisans they have on there trying to shout down one another. Yes, she tried to help HRC, but she has worked with and for Clinton, Inc. for 30 years. I can’t blame her for just getting her meal ticket punched one more time. And as someone else pointed out, if a question about the water at a debate in Flint was a big surprise, then these people shouldn’t be running for Hall Monitor.

  4. Hey Wendel, these are Democrats your talkin bout. Be careful, they’re slippery.

    1. Bob, not sure what their texture is but one thing for certain they have, are and continue to put a hurt on this nation. I can’t remember a time when something like the Clinton investigation (if that’s what it is) has been allowed to go this far. I think we all have until now trusted that an organization like the FBI would render a real honest to goodness verdict for the people not the politician. If you feel Mr Comey’s initial decision was an honest to goodness verdict I have to disagree strongly. The president continues to go out and support her like she has done nothing. She skates by saying “if I had to do it over again I wouldn’t”, “I can’t remember”, “I don’t recall”. When have you in court seen a magistrate let someone off by saying what she has said?

All this time she has been sending and receiving e-mails to/from the president and so many others dealing with national security and other important matters and no one saw clinton.com and not .gov or whatever secure e-mail sites are labeled? No one said a thing like “hey what are you doing Hilly”? We have slipped and we are all to blame.

      1. Right on, Bob….

Hillary can say oops, my bad, I made a mistake setting up that private illegal server to hide the influence peddling and money laundering through my family ‘charity’…..oh, and of course, she wouldn’t do it again.

And yes, she wants us all to believe that settles it – she said she was wrong and she has taken responsilibity for it – whatever THAT means these days!?

But what the media and the voters cannot forget is that most people who break the law – knowingly or unknowingly – don’t get to say, oops, my bad, I won’t do it again! They actually pay the price for their mistakes by going to prison, or paying large fines, or losing a law license, or being fired, or even having a security clearance revoked!

The absurdity of it all is astounding. But then, welcome to Clinton World.

No justice for one. No justice for all.

  5. Hillary got the idea from a song called the “The Gambler”.

So we took turns a-starin’. Out the window at the darkness. The boredom overtook us, And he began to speak. He said, “Son, I’ve made a life Out of readin’ people’s faces Knowin’ what the cards were. By the way they held their eyes. So if you don’t mind me sayin’ I can see you’re out of aces.
And the night got deathly quiet And his faced lost all expression.

He said, “If you’re gonna play the game, boy You gotta learn to play it right.
You’ve got to know when to hold ’em Know when to fold ’em

  6. JT, I have seen a steady decline in the US Justice system the last few decades vis a vis avoiding conflicts. And, I’m not talking partisan issues, I’m talking day to day stuff. Here’s one example.

About 20 years ago I was asked to conduct a surveillance of a man. I’m a PI and specialize in insurance fraud. When I saw the subject of the surveillance was the parent of a kid I coached baseball, I respectfully declined. The attorney went ballistic, telling me in so many words that this was not a conflict, but an opportunity for inside info. This is a very well connected, respected barrister. That’s the most blatant example I have of this horsesh!t, but there are other examples.

  7. And I have to say this as well….at this point it has become utterly painful to listen to Mr. Obama, in my opinion, disgracing himself by so desperately defending Hillary on the campaign trail (and on late night TV, on radio shows, and TV ads) despite the enormous scandal she has brought upon his administration! And despite the fact that she is under criminal investigation by the FBI – along with her family ‘charity’ and many of her inner circle – why on earth is Mr. Obama not distancing himself?

Some call it a smart use of his time (on taxpayers dime) but I find it beneath the dignity of the office he holds for him to be stumping so desperately for Hillary Clinton.

And just think of all the resources at State Dept, DOJ, FBI, etc, all the personnel hours, and the taxpayer money being spent on managing and investigating the mess of scandal and corruption created by Hillary Clinton — and this is still only in her campaign for president!

Just imagine another Clinton presidency marred by scandal after scandal after scandal. There is a 100% guarantee of that! And she calls Trump dark and divisive?! He’s looking more and more like an Angel of Renewal for this country compared to Hillary Clinton!

    1. Lee, not surprising at all to see Obama jumpin’ and jivin’ for Artillery Hillary. Look at all he’s done while in office. He’s part of the club.

  8. Nixon has an erection in his grave seeing how thoroughly corrupted a President has been able to make the DOJ. It’s the first erection for Tricky Dick since his daughter, Julie, was conceived in late 1947.

    1. Hey Nick the Clinton Princess is in the wings waiting for her que to enter the theatre.

      1. Wendel, Obama/Clinton are @ their core, corrupt Chicago politicians that have brought Chicago slime to the big stage.

        1. Clinton hasn’t lived in Cook County since 1965 and was never active in local politics there. BO’s career was a testament to how little danger state legislators are in from challengers. BO held no position in the Chicago machine and lacks the vigor or the people skills to be a Chicago alderman.

        2. But the only one doing time is Blagoyavich. But he was never in the inner circle of Ivy League crooks, having gone to a state school and a second or third tier law school…..if he had been of a more elite background, Obama would have pardoned him by now.

  9. This is an absolute disgrace. Why isn’t JT and all of law enforcement attacking the entire democratic party and all of the political aristocracy. These people are worse then the Mafia. For BLM here is something for you to attack, not the police. Young black, hispanic, asian and white are indicted and convicted for crimes so much less then this group of parasites commit. Some kid has a bag of weed he goes to court and sometimes to jail. These low lives make money off the American citizen, endanger our lives and national security and nothing happens but they just continue. All Americans should take to the streets demanding all of them be brought to justice.

  10. The tentacles of the Clinton’s World Wide Web of Corruption reach deep and wide. It’s no wonder they are still around scandalizing everyone and every thing they touch.

Hillary and Bill (and their minions, moles, and sycophants) don’t even consider doing the honorable thing – which would be to step aside for the good of the country – because they do not have a conscience that tells them right from wrong – which is a defining characteristic of a sociopath.

  11. Both Jill Stein and Donald Trump have ivy league pedigrees and are well into the upper tiers of the 1 percent. Trump is an ivy league oligarch while Stein is merely a multi-millionaire. Gary Johnson is a state U graduate.

    1. Gary Johnson is establishment despite running on the Libertarian ticket. Pro TPP.

      1. Stein went to Harvard for both undergrad and medicals school. She has the most elite education of all .I think a good education is a fine think unlike you who claims otherwise.

        1. Deflect deflect that’s all Hilbots can do. Stein did get attend an elite school however she is not part of the club of despicables. She devoted her career to healing physical ailments and has now turned to lancing the putrid boil of the current status quo ruining the nation. Stein says HRC is more dangerous than Trump and thinks she should be prosecuted.

  12. These despicable 1%ers are all members of the super elite club – Georgetown Law, Yale, Harvard. The top tier schools which have produced some of the most depraved people who are destroying our nation and its institutions. Time to drain the swamp.

    1. Trump’s in this group, too. He’s a 1% elitist who went to Penn. And, yes, he is depraved.

      1. He went to Wharton at Penn. The best business school in the World. He’s also not bought off by Special Interests. Sure he scares the bejesus out of me but he’s gonna be alot better than that rotten psychopathic traitor.

      2. Penn is not part of the elite triad. And Trump has not been part of the political insider group. That’s why he is hated equally by establishment Demoncrats and Repuglicans.

          1. Actually Georgetown most certainly is. Law school is alma mater for many of the corrupt club members.

            1. Georgetown is rated as #14, so it’s a very good school but not Top 10 and not Ivy League. But if one aspires to work in Washington, it’s an excellent choice because so many D.C. big wigs teach there and one can make great connections and complete internships in the alphabet agencies, the intelligence community and on The Hill (Congress).

        1. Penn struck me as less stuffy than Harvard or Yale when I toured with my daughter, but it is plenty elite. First University in US (first to offer post baccalaureate degrees), first medical school, first school of commerce, # 2 (behind Harvard) in super-wealthy alumni (9 figure or more net worth), US News # 8 national university. Eight alumni signed the Declaration of Independence, as did its founder (Ben Franklin).

          1. Actually, The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth was the first graduate school of commerce, founded in 1900.

            1. Penn had the first school of commerce, as I said. I’ll take your word that Dartmouth was the first GRADUATE school of commerce. Penn did have the first graduate degrees though I never said first graduate degree in commerce.

        2. Autumn,
“And Trump has not been part of the political insider group.”

Why do you assert this? I am suspicious of him (considering Hillary attended his wedding, he has golfed with Bill, and their daughters are friends). What are you thinking of?

  13. “Oh what a wicked web we weave when we practice to deceive.”

Does it matter at this point? Only to the ultimate court in the land. The Citizens Tribunal. Sharpen up the guillotine!

  14. The depths of corruption in Washington continue to shock Americans.

And the Clintons are at the center of that corruption.
