Former Senate Intelligence Committee Staffer Sentenced For Lying To The FBI

Youtube

James Wolfe, the former head of security for the Senate Intelligence Committee, was sentenced on Thursday for lying to the FBI about leaking information to reporters. The sentencing hearing by US District Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson stood in sharp contrast to the one held by Judge Emmet Sullivan with former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. Notably, despite being head of security for a committee with highly sensitive information, Jackson handed down only a two month sentence. In contrast, Sullivan indicated that he was inclined to send Flynn away for serious time and that the hearing took on a bizarre note with references to treason and being an effective foreign mole in the White House. Wolfe asked for a sentence in the same zero to six month range as Flynn, but the prosecutors asked for a “departure” for two years.

The indictment detailed contacts with four unnamed reporters, including New York Times reporter Ali Watkins, who previously worked at BuzzFeed News and Politico. Watkins and Wolfe had a romantic relationship.

Despite his action, he was able to give the court a letter of support from Chair Richard Burr, Vice Chair Mark Warner, and Sen. Dianne Feinstein, a former chair and former director of national intelligence James Clapper.

Wolfe told the judge: “Your honor, I am so sorry, I am beyond embarrassed, I am beyond humiliated, I am beyond mortified. Those actions and my false denials were critical lapses in judgment and a personal failure on my part. It is because of what have done, no one else, that I am before this court today. I have acknowledged what I have done, broken the rules of the committee, and then lied about it.”

Wolfe will self-surrender to the federal Bureau of Prisons and he asked to serve his time at a federal correctional facility in Cumberland, Maryland. He will also have to spend four months on supervised release and must do 20 hours of community service each week. He’ll also have to pay a $7,500 fine.

  1. TRUMP RASHLY DECIDED TO LEAVE SYRIA

AFTER PHONE CALL WITH TURKISH PRESIDENT

    AMERICAN-TRAINED KURDISH FORCES FACE ABANDONMENT

When he spoke to President Trump on the telephone a week ago Friday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s agenda had not changed from when they met two weeks earlier at the Group of 20 summit in Argentina.

He repeated his inability to understand why the United States was still arming and supporting Syrian Kurdish fighters to conduct a ground war against the Islamic State. To Turkey, which shared a 500-mile long border with Syria, they were a national security threat, allied with Turkish Kurds that even the United States considered terrorists.

The Islamic State, according to Trump himself, had been defeated, Erdogan said. Turkey’s military was strong and could take on any remaining militant pockets. Why did some 2,000 U.S. troops still need to be there?

“You know what? It’s yours,” Trump said of Syria. “I’m leaving.”

The call, shorthanded in more or less the same words by several senior administration officials, set off events that, even by the whirlwind standards of Washington in the Trump years, have been cataclysmic. They ended, for the moment at least, with Thursday’s resignation of Defense Secretary Jim Mattis.

This account of the tumultuous past week is drawn from interviews with government officials in the White House and across national security departments, all of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity while the dust was still settling. The White House and the Turkish Embassy did not respond to requests for comment.

For those who cared to defend the decision, including some on Trump’s staff, a minority of lawmakers, and presumably a good portion of his unshakable supporters across the country, Syria withdrawal was a promise kept. Trump had long said he would reduce U.S. commitments overseas. Money, he said, was to be spent on protecting the homeland, and not in some faraway place that should be able to take care of itself, or at least pay the United States for doing it.

But for many members of Congress — Republicans and Democrats — and the U.S.-led coalition against the Islamic State, it was an unmitigated disaster. None was officially informed in advance of Trump’s announcement, made on Twitter early Wednesday. Most warned that Turkey, whose troops were poised on the border waiting for U.S. forces to leave, would slaughter U.S. Kurdish allies. Overall, they said, it was nothing less than a capitulation to the other two powers on the ground in Syria — Russia and Iran.

Edited from: “A Tumultuous Week Began With A Phone Call Between Trump And The Turkish President”

    This evening’s WASHINGTON POST

    1. RE. ABOVE:

American-trained and supplied Kurdish forces played a major role in neutering ISIS. The Kurds punched above their weight as a fighting force, seizing the northeastern third of Syria. But their presence there is seen as a major threat to Turkey. Turkey has a restless Kurdish minority. The last thing Turkey wants is a burgeoning Kurdish state on its border.

So Trump rashly decided to abandon the Kurds. That prompted the immediate resignation of Defense Security James Mattis, a former Marine General. What’s more, U.S. allies are appalled that Trump is abandoning the Kurds. It seems to illustrate that Trump feels no loyalty to ‘any’ American allies.

Therefore it’s odd Professor Turley chose to write about James Wolf today. The above is not even a serious news story in the context of this week’s events.

The Kurds? His first loyalty is to those soldiers, sailors and airmen in harms way not some Ally who would have us as their protector until Muhammad’s version of Jesus returns.Turn in your American card. Your priorities are skewed.

        1. Mespo, our generals are grateful to the Kurds. The Kurds have been strong U.S. allies since the Gulf War. The Kurds are the only faction in Iraq friendly and useful to America. Yet without consulting his generals, Trump decided by himself to abandon the Kurds. Then he tweeted the announcement!

Abandoning a trusted U.S. ally without even warning them. The Kurds are now ready to set a 1,000 ISIS prisoners free. They can’t waste manpower guarding ISIS now. Every Kurd needs to be ready for Turkey instead. They could possibly face a massacre while ISIS gets valuable breathing room.

          1. PH:
I wouldn’t risk one American life for anyone from Cairo to Kabul. I’d supply ‘em if they helped us but not even one drop of American blood for anyone in that cesspit. We’ve got our own oil now.

          2. Seems like a more efficient use of manpower would be keeping the 1,000 prisoners rather than releasing them, then having to hunt them down and fight them again.
The Kurds may face a bigger threat from Turkey and from Assad.
Neither are likely to concede any territory for an autonomous Kurdistan.
The Kurds in Northern Iraq have a de facto Kurdistan and probably the ability to defend it; the Kurds in Syria are in a much more vulnerable position.

“Sentence him to also read the King James Bible.”
      ****************************
Knowing you’ve never read it (nor the Q’uran for that matter) I pity your missing out on one of finest examples of the English language embodied in the King James version of the Bible that was patterned after Tyndal’s translation.

The KJV shaped English for 400 years. Consider this familiar eloquence from Genesis:

“𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒚 𝒅𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒖𝒑𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉; 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒖𝒑 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒌, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒕 𝒖𝒑 𝒖𝒑𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒅, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒖𝒑𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉; 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝒘𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒖𝒑𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔. That triumph of rhythm and parallel syntax would make Coleridge blush and slink away. Give me three squares, four walls, a roof and this life sentence!

  2. Comrade Ruth Bader Ginsburg was awarded the “Communist of the Century” medal by Karl Marx for resolve and persistence above and beyond the call of duty. Ruthie maintains one goal in her DNA which is to hold the seat and simply persist in the name of communism until the next democrat is elected president. Ruthie boldly refuses to retire to maintain her health and enjoy her family in her final days. Ruthie has no care in life but for the ultimate dominion of communism. For this singular dedication, for embracing this raison d’être, Ruthie receives the “Communist of the Century” medal today.

    1. I am an American. I was born here. I believe Obumbo was born in Kenya. Am I wrong? All Americans cannot be wrong. Or Right.

  4. It is interesting that so many comments are outraged that Wolfe’s sentence was for two months for providing information to the public, while they mostly defend Flynn who whose secret agenda was to make deals on behalf of Trump with our nation’s enemies. Wolfe broke the law to provide information to the public, while Flynn broke the law to conceal information from the public

    1. He did not such thing. Also if you’re talking about his alleged FARA violation related to Turkey, remember Turkey is a NATO ALLY not an “enemy.”

    2. When did this secret deals stuff get released … or are one of Schumer’s leakers? Or just made it up?

    3. You are wrong!! There is no facts supporting that Flynn was trying to make deals for Trump with our enemies. Please get sober!

    4. Socttzwartz……..Russia has not been our “enemy”. Hillary made them our enemies for her political expediency b/c she suxed as Secretary of State and her idiotic “reset” button. You can lick her snatch all you want but Americans chose to kick that beach to the curb….just like Bill did

      Bob & Jim

      1. Russia is indeed our enemy. They’ve launched cyber attacks on US citizens. Have you forgotten all about Russia’s invasion of Crimea, and their attacks on Ukrainians in the eastern regions of Ukraine?

Ukraine is an ally of Western Europe and has close ties to the USA. Russia is attacking them.

        1. Crimea: part of Russia for centuries. Kruschev put it back into an autonomous posture which was administrative nomenclature mostly. It’s really none of our business if the Crimeans wanted to be part of Russia and the plebiscite definitely proved that.

As for Ukraine the putsch was unlawful and manned by thuggish nationalist zealots in the streets. Now I kind of like thuggish nationalists but I am not going to be taking sides in such a thing nor shold the USA have been instigating it. Ukraine is on Russia’s border and this encroachement is very dangerous for us as civilians who can get nuked. Very stupid policies and interference in foreign matters

Remember the US diplomat (samantha powers?) saying who we wanted as the successor to Yanakovich? as if we could choose. but it seems we did! very foolish

          1. The referendum didn’t prove much. Great Russians are a majority in the Crimea, but don’t have a large plurality over the minority populations and Putin wasn’t confident that a critical mass of Great Russians wouldn’t vote no, so he stuffed the ballot boxes. Inveterate defenders of Putin will admit that there’s a certain amount of fraud in Russian elections as well .

There was no putsch. Yanukovych fled the country when the military and security services wouldn’t take orders anymore. He was replaced by the constitutionally-designated official and new elections were held in a matter of months. His own political party would not defend him. Russophile parties are good for about 1/4 of the vote in the Ukraine and the share of the population which seeks re-incorporation into Russia is in the low-single digits. There’s a large (if shrinking) constituency for that in White Russia, but not in the Ukraine (even among the residual population of Great Russians).

Pretty amusing how you deny consuming palaeo and alt-right literature while recycling some of their stupidest memes.

            1. Yanukovych had about a year left in his 5 year term…he offered to move the election up a bit as a compromise.
I watched a lot of the coverage on the “protests” against Yanukocych from various sources.
When a mob seizes and occupies government buildings, does battle with the police and kills about 15 if them, fights among themselves because of different factions within the mob, drives out the elected president whose safety is in jeopardy, I think the alleged constitutional reason for officially removing him from power– “failure to perform his duties”– is a little thin.
If 100,000 “protesters” seize DC gov. buildings, including the halls of Congress, engaged in street fights with police, and drove a president out of the country, a retroactive claim that the the president was “removed constitutionally” for failing to perform his duties because he ran for his life is not convincing.

              1. How, exactly, is this a response to my post?

(You were careful not to mention the civilians killed by the security forces, btw).

              2. Absurd,..
Your statement that Yanukovych “was teplaced by the Constitutionally designated official and new elections were held within months” begs the question of how he was removed from power.
At a minimum, you imply that this was a somehow a mere constitutional tranfer of power and ignore the extra-constitional rioting and upheavel that seized the government buildings, threatened both the executive and legislative facilities and office hokders of government, and succeeded in paralysising an elected government that could have been VOTED out in months, or gone through the constitutional formalities of impeachment.
That was “how this was a response to” your post.
There were about 100 civilian deaths, IIRC.
The police containing rioters are not obligated to take an equal number of casualties, but go ahead and make that case if you like.

  5. So the head of security for the Senate intelligence Committee gets 2 months for his crime and a Navy sailor gets 1 year for his. And of course she who shall not be named has the head of the FBI clear her of criminal referral due to lack of intent. If your gut reaction to this is to defend the party first, then you’re an enabler of corruption in government.

James Wolfe, the former head of security for the Senate Intelligence Committee, was sentenced on Thursday for lying to the FBI about leaking information to reporters.

Saucier took the photos knowing they were classified, but did so only to be able to show his family and future children what he did while he was in the Navy, his lawyers said. He denied sharing the photos with any unauthorized recipient.

  6. The events of the last two years have discredited the federal trial courts. Events in previous decades discredited the federal appellate courts. Prof. Turley will never acknowledge this.

  7. Was judge Jackson the head of some security clearance agency? That is what the sentence regarding the sentence suggests. Pronouns and whatnot get watered down on the articles on this blog. Late night.

      1. Liberty2nd – Benson thinks you should read the whole book and then intuit his meaning. He does this a lot. Just tell him to Read Weart.

  8. That sentence is too light given the bollocking he gave Flynn. This is a man who gave up classified information. Did Flynn do that? No? And Sullivan is wrong about the treason charge, it would never stick.

    1. it’s just his opinion. like it’s my opinion that Hillary and her cat’s paw Mueller are guilty of treason too. Let’s get down to brass tacks asap, I say. Have at it. You know how we finish this, right guys?

  9. Ӎƴ ħѳѡ ţħϵ ӎḯǥħţƴ ƒäłł. Äﬡđ ƴѳǔ äḯﬡ’ţ ƨϵϵﬡ ﬡѳţħḯﬡǥ łḯҟϵ ţħϵ Ӎḯǥħţƴ Ƒłƴﬡﬡ.

      1. He’s doing that on purpose – some sort of weird font he discovered. I personally will be happy when he tires of it.

      1. i like his silly font. it’s a curious mix of Gothic and Hebrew style lettering and dyslexic reversals. Very ironic. He’s taunting us because we can’t play with our fonts like him. Well a mod has got to have some advantages or what’s the point of being a mod?

  10. Flynn’s crime was much more serious, and he tried to back out of his agreement and admission of guilt. Flynn was working for a foreign govt while a national security advisor to the president. Ya, that kind of borders on treason. I think it’s time people began to realize that you go to jail for breaking the law. I like many of Trump’s policies but I’ve no doubt that he’s up to his ears in illegality as are many people in his admin.

    1. Somsai:
No you don’t go to jail for breaking the law. Ask Clapper, Comey or Brennan. Hillary is authoritative on the topic too along with Huma, Lois, Susan and that tarmac queen, Loretta.

      1. Mespo,

        Tarmac Queen, Loretta,

Former Secret Service Agent, current talk show guy Nails Loretta Lynch & Bill/Hillary Clinton.

The story was Lynch & Bill just happened to be at the same spot at the same time.

        Bingino call Bullsh*t.

Both have Security Details, they arrange schedules, aka: both security details have logs that show they knew before hand, Bill Clinton & Loretta Lynch each Knew who & where they were going to Meet!

I don’t know, but let us , Public, see those Logs!

      2. What a whiny little baby you are? Funny, most of those mentioned have been under investigation and for the most part cleared of wrong doing but that is not good enough for you. You don’t believe in the rule law; you are a fraud

        1. cleared of wrong doing

LOL! You say that like being cleared of wrongdoing is equal to not doing wrong. What are you, like 6 years old?

          1. They weren’t cleared of wrong doing. Either the charge wasn’t investigated or it was’fixed.’

            1. It is called “ justice, a jury of your peers, etc.”.

Of course that is what it’s called; injustice would be too flagrant and politics would be too honest.

The nature of law is to maintain justice. This is so much the case that, in the minds of the people, law and justice are one and the same thing. There is in all of us a strong disposition to believe that anything lawful is also legitimate. This belief is so widespread that many persons have erroneously held that things are “just” because law makes them so.

Jonathan Gruber and the rest of the Lefty political class had you square in their sights.

                1. I care what he thinks why;

That’s awesome. your apathy and ignorance was exactly Gruber’s point. 🙂

are all of your heroes wrong?

Only on insignificant matters; otherwise they wouldn’t be my heroes.

          1. So brave, seeking retaliation from afar like all RWNJ. Stay in France, loser, and stop threatening insurrection; everyone knows when push comes to shove, conservatives have other priorities.

            1. Ha! you are right. Conservatives do. That’s part of why I am not a conservative.

Insurrection is what you call it when you’re in charge. Are you in charge? Such things are always a matter of perspective. One man’s traitor is another man’s patriot.

Just understand that when & if the civil war comes, the cities will starve. It will be sad for the innocent people but all you coffee house hipsters will deserve what you had coming. Pot brownies only go so far after a week of no truck shipments. People will want protein. Ever seen “the Road? ” That’s the future of the urban megapolis in a nutshell.

When the big crackup comes, you can always immigrate to Mexico if the going gets too rough. You know, there’s a lot of diversity down there, probably better than the racist ole USA. Maybe best to leave now, eh?

        2. Those few under investigation were not sworn and at least one had the charges fiddled with to show a not guilty even though that effort was also false. Intent was not an element but in sections where it was it makes an element of continued violations. I want to see the gang of 11 subpoened as part III looks like part II are getting a real investigation this time with the Senate the reps won’t be able to get a subpoena served and Mueller is likely to keep investigating into phase two using his wide discovery powers to exonerate himself. It isn’t over until it’s over and even then it isn’t over.

            1. If I am a loser then why I am so happy? LOL oh wait you were talking to Mike.

Tonight, I will be busy not feeling guilty about a damned thing and enjoying the hell out of white privilege.

        3. No, they are disciples of Faux News and Rush Limbaugh, who prattle on and on about the same bull about the Clintons while they ignore real political stories, like the resignation letter sent by General Mattis. Last night Faux News continued to insist that he was retiring, not that he resigned in protest because Fatso blindsided him and everyone else associated with the military and military strategy with his knee-jerk announcement that ISIS was defeated in Syria.

          1. Trump has been saying that the U.S. troops in Syria would be “coming home soon” since early spring 2018.
A Fortune article dated yesterday stated that there had been “intense internal debate” over Trump’s inclination to pull out of Syria.
I don’t agree with yanking the troops out at this point, and especially the proposal to withdraw c. 5,000 troops from Afghanistan.
There seem to be very few of Trump’s advisors who support his decisions about Syria and his plans to withdraw c. 40% of our troops in Afghanistan.
It did not appear to be a “knee-jerk”, impulsive decision.
Whatever claims may be made by Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, or those deranged with TDS are immaterial to evaluating Trump’s decisions about Syria and Afghanistan.

            1. This morning’s news cycle states that Turkey’s President telephoned the fat rodeo clown and told him to withdraw troops from Syria, so that’s what he did. He did not consult with General Mattis or anyone else first, but even if he had, he would have done whatever he wanted to. NO ONE agrees with this decision. NO ONE agrees that ISIS is defeated. Most are concerned that ISIS will only be emboldened by this stupid move. Fatso absolutely won’t listen to people who know more about things than he, which is almost everyone. He is intimidated by talent and experience that would provide crucial input into decisions such as this one.

People with Trump Derangement Syndrome are those who think that the fat egomaniac puxxygrabber actually has some agenda or plan other than to get as much attention for himself as possible and to leverage his fake presidency into favorable business deals. There has never been reasoned decision-making going on in the White House, which is chaotic and as ad hoc as anything could possibly be.

The biggest worry people in the know have right now is that with the departure of Mattis, one of the few adults in the room with the ability to potentially rein in the fat slob who pretends he is POTUS will now be gone. God only knows how many disasters General Mattis has already averted. What’s left with be “yes” men and women.

              1. Why do you always call him the fat puxxygrabber and fatso etc? maybe you have a lot of weird sexual fantasies about the gu. want him to give you a bill clinton style assault like he did on jaunita broderick? you’re obsessed

                  1. Why do you find it necessary to personally insult people with whom you disagree? Is it because you know that the points I raised are correct, and that there really isn’t any substantive response? Is this how quality people behave? I know it’s how Trump behaves, but is this really the template you want to use for your own behavior?

                1. Because he BRAGGED to a reporter (if that’s what you want to call Billy Bush) about grabbing women by their genitals because, he said, he is famous! He also is fat and bald and lies constantly. I wouldn’t mention these things if he didn’t constantly lob insults at people who criticize him (like those on this blog with true TDS), or if he were a patriot, an effective leader, if he put America’s best interests ahead of everything else, listened to those who are knowledgeable about how to use America’s military resources to best advantage and consistent with commitments to our allies, but there’s no agenda here other than leveraging the presidency for personal adulation and business deals for himself. Someone turned him on to nominating General Mattis as Secretary of Defense, a good choice, but Trump never respected the man, his commitment to America’s best interests, and didn’t even consult him before announcing ISIS defeated in Syria.

Mr. Kurtz, you live in the TDS bubble created by Faux News and Rush Limbaugh. Most Americans do not like or approve of Trump. Most Americans did not vote for him. Most Americans want universal health care. Most Americans do not approve of blowing billions of dollars on building a wall or of incarcerating children. Most Americans are not racist, and do not approve of Trump’s childish name-calling when someone disagrees with him. Most Americans approve of Mueller and want his work to continue without interference. Now, many Americans are very worried that one of the last controls on Trump’s impulsiveness is leaving the White House.

Why did you pivot to mention Bill Clinton and the unproven allegation about rape that allegedly occurred decades ago? What the hell does that have to do with today’s discussion or today’s politics? Kellyanne has successfully managed to weaponize the pivot maneuver whenever anyone points out Trump’s numerous flaws and constant mis-steps.

            2. “This morning’s news cycle” is not very specific.
The issues themselves…whether the issue of withdrawal from Syria or pulling 5,000 troops from Afghanistan…are secondary to those most severely afflicted with TDS.
The symptoms of the most deranged include outbursts like “fat slob”, “rodeo clown”, “Fatso”, “fat egomaniac”, “pussy grabber”, “cheated to win”, etc.
Those views and those tantrums are indications that no policy decision will EVER be satisfactory to those severely in the grip of TDS.
They shape, and are in the forefront of, every perception of every policy.

              1. The “issue” I raised was Trump’s lack of respect for General Mattis, his refusal to consult him or members of Congress with years of institutional knowledge about the Middle East and terrorists before publicly announcing such an important decision such as pulling troops from Syria on the false grounds that ISIS is defeated.

Yes, Faux News and Rush have taught you to totally discount anyone who criticizes Trump for his absurd appearance, despite the fact that he considers others’ appearances as fair game.

Trump has NO policies other than saying whatever it takes to get cheers from the hoards of deplorables at rallies. I’m surprised he hasn’t scheduled some more rallies because his fragile ego needs this like a junkie needs a fix.

                1. He’s been discussing the issue since last spring. The notion he ‘did not consult’ with the General is a fantasy.

                  1. Nutjob and her ilk have no clear idea what they want out of this president other than for him to be out…period. They act as if Trump’s in the Oval Office playing Risk (by himself).

                    1. Olly,…
Imagine what will becone of her if Trump is elected to a second term😧?
Her further deterioration is too horrible to even think about, given the stage/ rage she’s been stuck at, less than halfway into his first term.

                2. Natacha – this is going to come as a great shock to you, however as POTUS, Trump is Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. What he says, goes. He does not have to consult anyone unless he plans to go to war. We were in Syria and Afghanistan without going to war, so he is perfectly within his rights to withdraw the troops.

          2. HAIL OUR GREAT LEADER POTUS DONALD J TRUMP!

removing American troops from harm’s way in another pointless war!

and the Democrat war party hawks are so upset about it along with their military industrial complex allies and Deep State saboteurs!

WE NEED MORE CANDIDATES LIKE DONALD J TRUMP WHO FULFILL PROMISES, AT LEAST WHEN THEY CAN AND CONGRESS ISN’T SABOTAGING THEM!

    2. Allegations after the facts in evidence say otherwise and without proof AGAIN? Another progammer with it’s robo clone bot at work.

    1. How’s the abortion rate for American blacks? Still a measly 45%? Maybe you, Pelosi, and your DNC friends can jack it up now that Nancy’s back in control. What’s your target? I bet you can double it to 90% if you really put your back into it.

      /sarc off

            1. Tony – I got some lovely toys from FAO Schwarz most of the time. However, my mother did like to mix that with new clothes. 😉 That was until my father died. After that we recycled Xmas gifts.

    2. Every DOJ hates people talking to reporters. This one is no different.

Look at how they are persecuting poor Assange! Oh, forgot, that’s a sealed indictment, even though it’s been leaked.

Remember this. Assange is a reporter and every darn embarassing thing he prints on wikileaks is protected by the Pentagon papers precedent.

      1. I don’t have a problem with them punishing leakers (although sometimes one has to wonder what the difference is between a leaker and a whistleblower?). My question is why someone who leaks gets two months and someone who lies to the FBI in a matter related to National Security gets two weeks? Or nothing?
