HAPPY EASTER!!!

Happy Easter to everyone celebrating the holiday today.  Despite my kids being older, the bunny still came to the Turley house and left baskets overflowing with their favorite chocolates and candies, including a doggie basket for Luna. At our house, the Easter Bunny also leaves corny bunny riddles as a prerequisite for enjoying the baskets.

We are “double dippers” who celebrate Passover and Easter.

We will celebrate Easter tonight my family’s traditional  lamb, saffron rice, and other dishes. We have an Easter Egg cake and other desserts to go with the horn-o-plenty left by the bunny.

Happy Easter and Passover to the Turley family! “Double dipping”: I had a college classmate and friend who was Jewish, and every Easter got an Easter basket from her mother: she loved good quality white chocolate, and that was the only time it was readily available. We chuckled about that every year.

    Please do share the silly jokes.

    And remember to keep Luna away from the chocolate!

  11. Happy Easter and Passover to my family which are a mixture of Protestants, Catholics, Jewish and all my friends which encompass an even larger field of religions. The most holy of days. Time to reflect on Jesus’s sacrifice for us all and the sacrifices of others for our nation. God bless the United States and all our peoples.

  19. Happy Easter back to you and yours! My mother used to serve Lamb on Easter too. Glad Luna got her Easter basket too! Huge dog lovers in our household too!
