Nothing But Blue Skies Do I See: Times Reporter Finds Happiness in Social Media Safe Spaces

The recent election produced an outpouring of anger and angst on the left, from pledging to leave the country to not having sex with men for four years. For others, the response was to retreat deeper into the echo chamber of the left. Many liberals are leaving X for a Bluesky, which promises the censorship and monitoring that was reduced after Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter. Despite having most of the media and social media as allies, the opposing views of X have become intolerable for many after the election. One such aggrieved user appears to be New York Times tech reporter Kevin Roose, who wrote a column heralding the site as a deliverance for liberals left confused and afraid by the popular vote.Roose writes

“After an hour or so of scrolling through Bluesky the other night, I felt something I haven’t felt on social media in a long time: free.

Free from Elon Musk and his tedious quest to turn X into a right-wing echo chamber where he and his friends are the permanent, inescapable main characters.”

Because Musk dismantled the censorship system, the New York Times reporter now considers it a “right-wing echo chamber.” So, what does that make Bluesky?

Over at X, there is no shortage of trolls from the left and the right. However, it is hardly an echo chamber. Many liberals are among the most influential and criticize the right and others, including Musk and X. It also has its share of far-left trolls. However, it is the fact that it also allows such voices from the right that seems to produce the gasping, hypoxic response of liberals.

Twitter LogoBack in the day of Twitter, it was just like the Allman Brothers song:

“BluebirdsSinging a songNothing but bluebirdsAll day long”

Many have shared their own “I can breathe now” take on Bluesky and how it is great to be again among friends — and watched over by social media guardians. Just like the old days. Notably, Roose admits that the site is no X and is unlikely to replace it. Roose admitted when he first joined Bluesky, it was more annoying than liberating:

“It was also, frankly, kind of annoying. The most active posters on my feed were all left-wing Twitter discontents, united in their hatred of Mr. Musk yet unable to stop talking about him. My account went dormant, and I moved on to other platforms.”

To his credit, Roose appeared to miss the diversity of thought in less “moderated” spaces. Nevertheless, it is now a godsend for those seeking greater insulation from opposing views.

Ironically, one lesson from this election is the danger of both the press and pundits in becoming increasingly out of touch with most of the country.  The shock expressed by many is due to a lack of exposure to opposing views — not the need for further ideological isolation.

That cathartic effort is evident in many subscribers who are now boycotting the Washington Post and MSNBC. MSNBC contributor and Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin appears to support such efforts. Rubin is an avowed Marxist. Groucho Marxist, that is. Marx famously said, “I don’t want to belong to any club that would accept me as one of its members.” Before supporting resignations at her newspaper (for not endorsing a presidential candidate) or the boycott of Morning Joe (for the hosts speaking to Donald Trump), Rubin was the self-identified Republican columnist of the Post before she called for the party to be burned down.

Liberals would prefer to leave the Post if it is going to introduce opposing views. For the Post owner and publisher, the newspaper is facing an utter disaster after alienating over half of the country by becoming an echo chamber. Publisher and CEO William Lewis put it bluntly by telling the staff, “Let’s not sugarcoat it…We are losing large amounts of money. Your audience has halved in recent years. People are not reading your stuff. Right? I can’t sugarcoat it anymore.”

The response from the Post staff was calls for Lewis to be fired. These reporters and columnists would prefer to lose their jobs than their bias.

Obviously, Roose and others have every right to shelter in place within hardened liberal silos. However, it will do little to bring back readers to the media or voters to the Democrats by creating safe spaces for liberals to avoid being triggered by opposing views.

Now, it is different:

“Never saw the sun shining so brightNever saw things going so rightNoticing the days hurrying byWhen you’re in love, my how they fly”

Different except that things are not “going so right” on Bluesky.

  1. “Blue Skies” lyrics by Irving Berlin. Big hit for singers as varied as Ella Fitzgerald and Willie Nelson. The definition of “Blue sky and hot air” from the OED:

    2. U.S. Finance.

    2.a. 1905–
Originally blue sky and hot air. Of securities and other investments: sold under false pretences so as to increase the profits of the seller or dealer; financially unsound; fraudulently sold. Of a person, organization, etc.: involved in the sale of such items.

That definition seems to be the best fit for the progs new on-line safe space.

  2. I want to emphasize on point made by Turley: Rubin is not just Groucho Marx: she is the dumbest writer on a roster of dumb writers at the ComPost. She has the memory of an ant and the brain of an amoeba

  3. O T – A month ago, it looked like the Hunter Biden laptop story would be the poltical scandal of the century. But it has already been eclipsed. Now the scandal of the century is the conspiracy of the Democratic Party to rig the ballot for Presidential and other federal candidates.
One part of their scheme was to keep third parties off the ballot. As to the No Labels Party, see http://www.wsj.com/opinion/democrats-vs-democracy-85cc8e06?mod=djemBestOfTheWeb Of course, we already knew that they sued to keep RFK Jr, Jill Stein and Cornel West off of general election ballots. They even performed a volte face and sued to keep RFK Jr. on the general ballot after he dropped his campaign.
Another part of their scheme was to put fake conservatives on state ballots to draw votes from Republican candidates. http://www.nypost.com/2024/09/16/us-news/democrats-recruited-third-party-candidates-to-siphon-votes-from-republicans-which-could-decide-close-virginia-congressional-contest/ This may have succeeded in Wisconsin.
When Democrats rig their primary process to produce candidates approved by the elites, that is shameful. When Democrats rig the general election ballot, that is an “insurrection”.

    1. Carville is now saying he would slap his mother to win an election.

He explicitly said nothing is off the table. And that is the problem with the left –

Polls show that only a tiny portion of americans would cheat to win an election.
But if we restrict those polls to elites in government or academia with post graduate degrees the number jumps to 67%.

These are people that are almost exclusively democrat.

Nor should the number of the elite that would cheat be surprising – we see that everyday – listen to the MSM – any random day.
Anyone that disagrees with them is evil and nothing is off the table to over come those “evil” people who disagree with them.

I am mostly avoiding commenting on what democrats need to do to win elections again – what they did wrong – that is their business to figure out.
And failure to get it right will be costly to them.

But I am still surprised at how clueless they are.

Democrats did not lose because Biden waited to long to get out.
Democrats did not lose because Harris ran a poor campaign, or because she did not do enough interviews.

You can lose an election by making any number of large mistakes – but in truth democrats did not make those mistakes.
Mostly Harris ran a goof campaign
      Mostly Trump did too.
Both made mistakes. That is not what lead to a Trump win.

Democrats lost – because the governed poorly over the past 4 years.
There are all too few democrats saying that

Exit polls gave us ALL the reasons democrats lost.

Opinion polls before the election told us all the reasons democrats were going to lose.

Worse still – it is increasingly evidence that 2020 was an anomaly – sort of.
Biden got 20M magic votes – and certainly not because he was a good candidate.

But Republicans have been making steady inroads into the working class and minorities since 2012.

Democrats must either reverse that trend, or they must find millions of voters elsewhere or 2026 and 2028 will be worse.

  4. I can’t wait to see what BS pretzel logic Turley uses to defend a tariff-based economy when he gets around to opining on it. Even when inflation skyrockets he’ll be saying everything’s great.

    1. He won’t need to use pretzel logic because inflation will not skyrocket. The question is what Democrats will say when inflation subsides to pre-Biden levels.

    2. I seriously stop by just to see your deranged posts; your mental illness is, I’m embarrassed to admin, very entertaining. Please don’t stop.

    3. * David Muir on the nightly MSN was showing the same lack of understanding you’ve posted.

Mexico’s president said they’ll raise tariffs on usa imports in return. Great! That means American corn prices will go down because of a domestic surplus. The hog farmers will luv that corn feed. Corn fed hogs–> 😋.

      1. “That means American corn prices will go down because of a domestic surplus [for the moment]. The hog farmers will luv that corn feed [today].”

And the corn farmers? Or the other producers (e.g., exporters) who have spent millions and ramped up production, in anticipation of selling to international markets? And when the corn farmers go bankrupt, what will happen to the hog farmers?

Yours is the “broken window” fallacy — a short-range mentality that ignores “that which Is not seen.”

      2. Actually corn fed hogs, the meat tastes like cardboard. If you want hogs with real “porky” flavor, pasture raise them. Plant crops that over winter, or in the spring, plant fast growing root veggies for them to feed on. In the fall, put them in apple orchards or around mast producing trees.

    4. “I can’t wait to see what BS pretzel logic Turley uses to defend a tariff-based economy when he gets around to opining on it.”

Oh look at you! Your logic tells you that men can menstruate and get pregnant!

      1. Are Tarriffs usually economically bad – YES.

Do they cause inflation – NO!

        AGAIN

Inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomena.
        Milton Friedman.

The laws of supply and demand dictate that though INDIVIDUAL prices may increase or decrease that price levels will be constant (or drop) without injecting more money into the system.

I would note – that the only purpose of Tarriffs is not economic.

Trump has not even taken office het and the THREAT of Tarriffs has nations accross the world making concessions.

Trump has told Mexico – Stop illegals from crossing into the US NOW or I will impose a 15% tarrif on Mexican goods on Day one.

Guess what – Mexico has sent troops to the border.

The EU announced they are buying even more LNG from the US – and they have openly admitted they are doing so in the hopes that Trump will not unfavorably tarrif them.

Tarriffs are an effective foreign policy weapon and Trump uses the threat of tarrifs exactly that way.

I would further note that even economically – though the absence of Tarrifs is optimal – that is no different from the absence of Taxes on income or capital gains or corporations or property or wealth are all optimal.

But we have all those other forms of taxes.

Tarriffs are one of many ways to pay for govenrment.
The US rant the federal govenrment off tarriffs entirely for 150 years.

Lets presume that Trump’s Tarriffs actually happen in a large scale – which I doubt.
Lets assume they increase the price of foreign goods.
Trump has made clear that Tarriffs to fund the federal govenrment are to be traded off against reductions in income taxes for the working class.
        That is a reasonable tradeoff.

    5. Tariffs are just one tool in government’s toolbox that it uses to distort markets and price signals. They are no different than regulations, taxes, mandates, subsidies, tax credits, and all of the other gimmicks government creates to interfere in markets to try to “nudge” economic actors in a direction preferred by policymakers.

Increasing the minimum wage of no skill labor is probably more distorting than tariffs. Not only does it literally criminalize work by making it illegal for a company to pay someone what the employer and employee would otherwise agree to, but by mandating how much employers must pay for no skill, inexperienced labor it creates upward pressure on wages for everyone else. Those get passed along to consumers in the form of high prices. Do you whine about that “inflation”?

Do you whine that the demands from government that cars get certain gas mileage; emit only so much “pollution”; and require manufacturers to equip cars with safety features that several thousands of dollars to the price consumers must pay for a new car? Or the $7500 tax credit to rich people who buy an EV toy for themselves?

If you whine only about tariffs and ignore all the other distorting effects government puts on prices then you are a political hack – not someone arguing from a principled position.

      1. “If you whine only about tariffs and ignore all the other distorting effects government puts on prices then you are a political hack . . .”

Your comment would’ve been a lot briefer, if you had just said: You can’t criticize anything, unless you criticize everything.

(The “whine” part, though, is a nice ad hominem.)

        1. I addressed the flaw in the commenters remark. That is, choosing to criticize tariffs while ignoring the many other ways government actions distort prices makes his a political argument, not a substantive one.

To illustrate how non-tariff government actions distort prices, I provided two brief examples: 1) minimum wage laws and 2) automotive regulations.

Your suggested revision to how I should have commented is meaningless. It has no substance.

You’re just whining about how I chose to express myself.

          1. “. . . choosing to criticize tariffs while ignoring the many other ways government actions distort prices . . .”

A blog comment is not a treatise on economics.

            “. . . makes his a political argument, not a substantive one.”

Whatever that phony distinction means — so what? Is the argument about *tariffs* valid or not? That is the only important question. Everything else is merely your deflection.

“I addressed the flaw in the commenters remark.”

The only flaw here is your utterly arbitrary, detached-from reality standard: A person can’t comment on anything, unless he also comments on everything like it.

      2. “Do you whine that the demands from government that cars get certain gas mileage; emit only so much “pollution”; and require manufacturers to equip cars with safety features that several thousands of dollars to the price consumers must pay for a new car? Or the $7500 tax credit to rich people who buy an EV toy for themselves?”

“Whine”, no. Gave that up after a few years. Consistently and strenuously object to? Absolutely. Government interference in the marketplace *always* results in inefficiencies and dislocations. But after decades of such introduced dislocations in layers heaped upon layers, the question is where to begin to unravel the horrible mess. Even if it was politically feasible for Trump to wave some kind of executive magic wand and make all Federal market regulation disappear at once, that would cause extreme chaos for quite some time, and, unlike a mature free market, the results would be highly unpredictable. Since the process has to begin somewhere, and Trump has chosen tariffs (or threats of tariffs) as his chosen place to begin, I am will to wait and see the results before passing ultimate judgement.

    6. Why would the good professor comment on the economy? He is a law professor, not an economist. Use some common sense.

  5. Speaking of echo chambers, wrap your heads around this one!

“The new study from the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) and Rutgers University found that people exposed to DEI talking points about race, religion and gender form integroup hostility and authoritarian attitudes towards others.

“What we did was we took a lot of these ideas that were found to still be very prominent in a lot of these DEI lectures and interventions and training,” said NCRI Chief Science Officer Joel Finkelstein, a co-author of the study. “And we said, ‘Well, how is this going to affect people?’ What we found is that when people are exposed to this ideology, what happens is they become hostile without any indication that anything racist has happened.”

Researchers exposed 324 participants to two sets of reading material; a racially-neutral text about corn, or the writings of race-baiters Ibram X. Kendi or Robin DiAngelo. The participants were then exposed to a racially neutral scenario in which a student was rejected from college.

Those who were exposed to the writings of Kendi and DiAngelo injected racism into the scenario.

[What’s worse, the participants who read the DEI passages also wanted to punish the “offenders” who—I’ll remind—literally did nothing racially biased.

They were more likely to want to harm people who did nothing due to their own imaginations.]

As Colin Wright of Reality’s Last Stand notes (h/t Mike Shedlock), the New York Times and Bloomberg “abruptly shelved coverage” of the study.”

    1. * If DEI is begun in developmental years the brain constructs itself differently, as well, making it a permanent force. Those exposed to actual racism in early years have the same effect.

Do you imagine there’s any possibility that hezbollah will ever feel differently about Jewish people? None. It’s an awful burden to hate that much.

There’s a chasm of non-understanding of virtues and vices and how they function. It’s not only the law. It’s also virtues and vices. Imagine repeatedly practicing a vice. It’s like the dark ages.

Happy holidays if you have them.

  6. “Nothing but Blue Skies.”
I’m watching local NBC affiliate network news, heralding the rise in “consumer confidence” and the rise in consumer spending. There is also talk/interviews with persons and company leaders who are “stockpiling” supplies and products in anticipation of “Trump’s tariffs.”
Although stocks and consumer spending often go up as a year closes out, this particular “consumer confidence/spending” and “stockpiling” is artificially and calculatingly triggered, —serving to allow Biden to speciously go out with a big successful bang, telling to America’s public that he left Trump with a booming economy. –Blue Skies indeed, ….hoping it will be followed with a dark cloud-filled slump into Trump’s 2025, —
This was so predictable. I regret that Trump keeps talking about his tariffs in advance…

    1. (ha, -I meant to say that those who are advertising the boom/economic rally are “hoping it will be followed with a dark cloud-filled slump” –not me saying that!

      1. * A zebra doesn’t change its stripes. The Clintons stole precious artworks from the WH. Therecwill be those opportunists and then there’ll be those who’ll work for the common good.

    2. Lin,
Well, our plan was if Harris won, Christmas was called off. No spending anything other than the bare necessities. Food, gas.
However, now that Trump won, Christmas is back on! And we are in fact spending. So, it has nothing to do with Biden, but that Trump won the election and we are feeling good about the next four years. I have noted other friends have expressed the same.

      1. Hello there Upstate! Before I forget, let me express that I am thankful for the good, substantive comments you regularly make on this site, and I wish you the warmest Thanksgiving with your family.
Now to your comment. Yes, understood, –but the point that I was making is that all those things you and your family and friends are purchasing in celebration of Trump winning, -and for Christmas…..—will all go toward and boost Biden’s final quarter’s economic credit, –because Trump is not sworn in until the 20th of next year. I say this facetiously, but I’d like to draw a political cartoon picturing the Democrats filling up their garages, basements, and outbuildings with everything they will need for the next year, to help Biden go out with an economic boom and sales to drop thereafter under Trump and his “tariffs.”

  7. Michael Goodwin’s piece in the NY Post can be summarized as follows:

The Dems’ failed campaign against Trump came down to the P’s: policy, personnel, and personal destruction (the latter of which consisted of two subcomponents, personal smears and politicization of justice).

    – Policy: the Dems were deaf to the public moot concerning the economy, inflation, the open border, and crime.
    – Personnel: the Dems started with a cognitively impaired Biden whose state of mental decline they lied about, followed by an incredibly weak ticket consisting of a Word Salad and a Tampon, neither of whom was ready for prime time.
    – Personal-destruction politics: the ridiculous smears such as Hitler, fascist, racist, and so on, that people saw through and refused to believe, as well as politicization of the justice system, involving over-the-top indictments and ridiculous kangaroo-court convictions, and an unprecedented armed raid on a former president’s house where FBI agents culled through Melania’s underwear drawers.

All of the above helped Trump win, as they either burnished his image in the eyes of the voters (“I’m one indictment away from winning”), or allowed him to seize on the substantial policy and personal weaknesses of his opponents. If you want to read the whole thing, it is here:

  8. Mr. Roose is a “tech reporter,” right? Not a columnist. Way not a writer of editorials. Therefore, the person to whom Mr. Roose turns in his copy needs to say to Mr. Roose:

Report. Don’t blather. Rein in your use of the word “I,” especially as regards your feelings–of annoyance or anything else.

Stop gassing away, and report your head off.

And work your own beat: tech. An inexhaustible subject. Our paper is a national paper but based in DC. You may broaden your beat to include laws and regulations relating to tech, AI, etc.

But the self-indulgent feeling-sharing about Blue Sky? No more. We are the Woodward and Bernstein paper. Report. Don’t feeling-share.

    ——————————-

Okay, as you can see, I’ve got the problem of how to fix the Washington Post all figured out.

    Why hasn’t

  9. Jonathan

I am happy to know that Dennis McInliar is taking the time to read all the posts mocking and ridiculing him. It’s good to know that we aren’t wasting any more time helping hinm look stupid than he is spending on it himself.

So he also knows that he’s not changing a single mind. More likely, he is cementing the notion that the left is full of looney tunes like him, and need to be eradicated or reprogrammed.

      1. ‘Dennis doesn’t any more own a guitar than he does a AR-15.’

        SAVAGE!!!!

He knows guitars totally destroy young minds just like AR-15s totally destroy a deer!

      1. Actually, That is a thing. You can hook up any kind of a guitar to an amp. There are specialized amps For acoustic guitars. Some acoustics even have built in paezo pick ups. I even have 2 resonators that can be hooked up to an Amp. And there are hybrid type guitars that have both regular pick ups and piezos. My Frankenstein Fernandez has a Gibson P90 in the neck and a de.Marzio humbucker in the bridge and a piezo hook up. I used to have a Super Bowl with the same set up.And I now have a michael kelly hybrid Which is fantastic. That was the last new guitar.I was able to buy and then I lost my job about a week later. That was last year. And I have a line six variax That can sound like a banjo a sitar, a resonator hey , jazz box a les paul a tele, a gretsch, anything you want.

        1. I know that folky acoustic guitars often come with pick ups. I just had a hard time envisioning Andres Segovia or Julian Break playing at 11 through a Marshall amp.

  10. Jeniffer Rubin has less than zero credibility or influence. The leftwing newspaper’s opinion columnist has come under fire for encouraging so-called journalists to resign after the Los Angeles Times decided not to endorse a candidate in the presidential race. When WaPo soon followed with its own non-endorsement, Rubin remained silent. But she did take to social media to virtue-signal with a t-shirt, securing herself a resounding flogging on X where her hypocrisy

  11. Jonathan: I’m not on Blue Sky. Never was on Twitter/X. Why would I go to another platform when I can enjoy pointing out the holes in the arguments in your columns–and then watch with amusement while your faithful supporters engage in vindictive personal insults because they have nothing else to offer. This blog beats Blue Sky any day!

As I often do, here is the latest grift by DJT–and he has not even been sworn in for his second term! Everyone knows about DJT’s past scams–the branded Bibles and golden sneakers, the $100,000 watches, the NFT cards, etc. Now a company called “16 Creative” is hawking a Gibson Les Paul guitar knockoff. The company says its guitars are “the only guitar officially endorsed by President Donald J. Trump”. Their ad has a photo of DJT holding one of the guitars in his Trump Tower suite. The prices for the guitars range from $1,000 to $10,250 for the ones autographed by DJT. Last week DJT announced his new endorsed product: “Coming soon! The Limited Edition ’45’ Guitar. Only 1,300 of each accoustic and Electric Guitars MADE–some personally signed”.

On Monday, the 130 year old Gibson guitar company sent a cease and desist order to 16 Creative claiming the design of the Trump guitars “infringes upon Gibson’s exclusive trademarks, particularly the iconic Les Paul body shape”. This order is a necessary step before suing.

And we thought DJT would stop the scams and patent infringements during his second terms. Nope. The grifter-in-chief will continue to violate the emoluments clause of the Constitution like he did in the first term. And his lackeys in Congress will continue to protect him.

As a footnote 16 Creative says the signature DJT guitars are manufactured by “multiple providers” that are “both domestic and international”. This means the Les Paul knock-offs will probably be assembled here with components coming from–you guessed it–China! How do I know. I am a guitarist. My classical was made in China. All my accessories–from strings to tuners and amps–they are all made in China. So here’s a word of warning to other guitar buffs on this blog. You better load up now because you are going to face a big sticker shock if you wait until after DJT is inaugurated to buy that guitar or accessory made in China. And this is why we can expect “buyer’s remorse” from a lot of people who voted for DJT. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

    1. I am not sure at all that it is a Les Paul copy. First, from the picture, the “horn” pointed outward, instead of upward like a Les Paul. More like a Fernandes Ravelle almost. Second, it is a “bolt-on” neck, and that it usually reserved for the cheaper Epiphone line of Les Pauls. Finally, the headstock is different.

Now, that being said, it sounds more to me like you are just nitpicking about minor crap, while Democrat President Demento is authorizing long range missile strikes into Russia. As far as vindictive personal attacks, what do you expect? You are like a contestant on the old Gong Show, who comes out and does a pathetically bad show, and then chortles at getting pulled ff the stage by a shepherd’s crook.

But thanks for admitting that you are a troll! That was mighty white of you!

        1. Crap, I’m not proud. For 6 figures a year I will lie like a dog! A couple of years of that and I will have a trust fund for my cats set up. Then I can go back to being an honest, decent person. Not like anybody is really listening to the trolls anyway.

          1. Floyd, here is how much money it takes for five people to lie.
            —–
Angelo Carusone, Chairman And President (from 11/22)
            $406,116

            Cynthia Padera, Chief Operating Officer
            $346,302

            David Brock, Chairman (untill 11/16/22)
            $270,239

            Pilar Martinez, Chief Financial Officer
            $218,016

            Julie Millican, Vice President
            $202,171

          2. I would take 6 figures too. But I do not think I can write the nonsense Dennis writes – I do not have a moral problem taking media matters money tishill for them.

I just do not think I am cable of writing crap as stupid as Dennis does – no matter how hard I tried.

    2. * everything is a knock off except the originals no longer made. Don’t be so naive. Gee, a knock off of a knock off….even the sand is a knock off.

No one cares except if your Gibson, original, is stolen. NO ONE buys stuff anymore.

    3. Jonathan: I’m not on Blue Sky. Never was on Twitter/X. Why would I go to another platform when I can enjoy pointing out the holes in the arguments in your columns

The sexual pleasures of masochism on display! And of course, Dennis is equally trustworthy in his claims he doesn’t post on Bluesky nor on Twitter or now on X. Dennis has never lied to the audience before!

Dennis McIntyre assures us he enjoys being called out as a pathetic commie who poses as his host’s personal friend. Followed by claiming he enjoys having his lies, channeling, dissembling and all the rest of his Democrat Bull Schiff rubbed in his face every time he posts.

He enjoys these “pointing out” sessions he launches as a parasite on his host’s blog so much that he immediately slithers back into hiding in his fetid lair out of sight the instant that even one person calls him out.

Can we be so sure he isn’t also lying in his claims he isn’t on X and Bluesky along with Rachael Maddow’s blog when so much of his “content” looks like a cut ‘n paste job?

We can safely conclude from his actions that Dennis McIntyre is a masochist who gets the only sexual gratification available to him by people responding to him to beat on him and his daily deuces as though he was a red headed stepchild.

And so the mockery, jeering, and contempt will continue throwing Dennis a perverted sexual lifeline.

      1. * The meaning of the Dennis posts is to disturb your peace. It gives his life meaning.

    4. Thank you for the warning. I am aware of Trump’s failings and not at all a member of a Trump cult. I had the good fortune of living through Trump’s first (of two) term and Biden’s first (and only) term and thus am able to compare the two. I much preferred Trump’s first, particularly on his policies, over Biden’s first and only, in which I deplored nearly everything going on, especially his dereliction of duty – impeachable/convictable – where the border is concerned. In canvassing for Trump this year, I found a bunch of educated, well-heeled people praying fervently Trump would win and Kamala would lose. Thank you for the grifter warning – it was so good of you, a superior person – but I am sure I made the right choice.

    5. Dennis: thanks–but, you forgot “Trumpy Trout” the sneakers, the gold-plated and silver commemorative coins, “Trumpy Bear”–and, I’m sure I forgot other products. The Daily World lists these other items:

      Big Trump Knife
      Trump Lighters
      Free Trump Mystery Box
Trump Fighting for America Gold Coin
      Trump Wanted Shirt
      Free Trump Supporter Flag
      Trump Keep Fighting Bobblehead
Trump, You Cannot Assassinate My President Shirt
Trump Mugshot & Stand Strong 2-Card Bundle
      Trump Stand Strong Trading Card
Black and Gold 2024 Trump Coin
Trump Fighting for America Trading Card
      Trump Hugging the Flag Bobblehead
Colored Trump $2 Bill – Genuine Legal Tender
      Trump Vance 2024 T-Shirt
      Trump “Fight, Fight, Fight” T-Shirt
Trump Vance 2024 Collectible $2 Bill
      Trump Vance 2024 Trading Card
Grazed But Not Fazed Trump Assassination T-Shirt

I’m surprised some enterprising person hasn’t come up with a Trump prop involving the infamous microphone incident. I have a suggestion, but my description probably wouldn’t pass the censor. And, I have no doubt that such a product would sell.

What does all of this say about how Trump views his faithful MAGAs?

      1. What does all of this say about how Trump views his faithful MAGAs?

Gigi, what do you think you put on display as a shameless groveling acolyte of President Daddy-Daughter Inappropriate Showers?

The Big Guy Commander In Chief. Mr. Ten Percent, the senior partner in Biden White House Crime LLC. Quartermaster In Chief to Iran’s Mad Mullahs and hajji terrorists while they were murdering Americans.

The Vice President Biden family business that netted him a cool $30 million ChiCom dollars – and over 150 Suspicious Activity Reports filed by suspicious banks with his boss Obama, concerning bribery, influence peddling and money laundering.

If all Trump voters were all “suckers” proven by them supposedly buying Trump products, half of America would be a sea of red Trump MAGA hats and shirts. Despite your angry spiteful Bull Schiff, many Americans had no problem choosing Trump without buying his merchandise.

Why? Because they were voting as much or more against YOU and the rest of your Woke angry insane Marxist agenda. They didn’t need the hat or T-shirt to vote their contempt of you and what you represent.

Over half of American voters know that you and Dennis have spent YEARS whoring yourself out for Biden – when the only product he has EVER SOLD, was out of the White House to his ChiCom and Putin customers.

Trump’s customers are the American voters you loath more than Trump. Bribery Biden’s customers were foreign ChiCom and Putin adversarial governments. Governments he sold America out to in exchange for tens of millions of filthy ChiCom and Putin oligarch dollars into his pockets.

Gigi, whose business venture was better for Americans: Trump’s business selling to Americans? Or Biden’s selling America to ChiComs and Putin?

I have a suggestion, but my description probably wouldn’t pass the censor.

I have a suggestion for what you can do with that large dildo and merkin collection that you turn to for personal gratification after posting here… but somebody else would find a better one at that esteemed information source of yours, The Daily World.

        1. My god —you’re so full of hate and vitriol. Despite years of trying, Republicans have yet to come up with anything resembling proof of Biden doing anything crooked or receiving money from the Chinese.

OTOH—Trump shamelessly hawks all kinds of crapola to the MAGA crowd— it’s probably his main source of income— and that and the power to push around other countries and abuse migrants, the adulation, plus vindication because he lost in 2020 are what the “presidency” means to him. He is no patriot, he has no leadership skills and a track record of failure after failure.

Can you imagine Ike selling replica Eisenhower jackets, or Jackie Kennedy selling commemorative PT 109 replicas, or any other President trying to personally profit from the presidency?

So you voted for Trump to “show” people whom you resent? What you really have done is vote for someone whose incompetence is well established, whose ignorance of economics is predicted to worsen inflation and drive up the cost of goods. His historically incompetent and conflicted cabinet choices will weaken public health, weaken the confidence of our allies in our intelligence services, and undermine our military. The national debt will soar. They were not chosen because they were competent, experienced or skilled in leadership— they were chosen because they are syncophants whose loyalty is to Trump instead of to the Constitution. Yeah, you showed us all right.

          1. “My god —you’re so full of hate and vitriol. Despite years of trying, Republicans have yet to come up with anything resembling proof of Biden doing anything crooked or receiving money from the Chinese.”

Based on the evidence currently made public – in 90% of this country you could get a jury to convict joe biden of Bribery.
If you tried the case in DC or manhattan using the same evidence but lying to jurors and telling them it was Trump you could get a conviction easily there too.

Joe Biden is not the most corrupt president ever – frankly his corruption is pretty small potatoes – but it is very real and it have been going on for a long long time.

“OTOH—Trump shamelessly hawks all kinds of crapola to the MAGA crowd”
So – it is called a free market – no one is forced to buy it.
No use or abuse of government puwer is involved.

“it’s probably his main source of income”
ROFL – are you really that stupid ?

“that and the power to push around other countries”
That is what /presidents do – it is part of the job – read the constitution.

“abuse migrants,” that would be deport illegal immigrants.

” the adulation, plus vindication because he lost in 2020 are what the “presidency” means to him. He is no patriot, he has no leadership skills and a track record of failure after failure.”

Back to the mind reading again.

“Can you imagine Ike selling replica Eisenhower jackets,”
            Yes,
” or Jackie Kennedy selling commemorative PT 109 replicas,”
            Yes
“any other President trying to personally profit from the presidency?”

YOU mean like Joe Biden ?

Nearly every president has “profited” from the presidency. Trump is one of few who left office poorer than he entered.

“So you voted for Trump to “show” people whom you resent?”
Gigi, please read the exit polls – people have said why they voted against democrats – the number one reason is the left went too far.

Yes – many who voted for Trump “resent” those of you on the left tryig to FORVE them to live as you wish. and worse trying to FORCE your values on their children.
Regardless, exit and other polls will tell you why prople voted as they did.
Many voted for Trump – but the winning margin were votes AGAINST you – and not by Trump supporters.

“What you really have done is vote for someone whose incompetence is well established, whose ignorance of economics is predicted to worsen inflation and drive up the cost of goods. Yeah, you showed us all right.”

I guess we all shall see who is right and who is wrong. Who is delusional.

It would be incredibly hard to be more incomeptent than Biden/Harris, It would be incredibly hard to know less about economics. It would be incredibly hard to caue worse inflation. It would be incredibly hard to have a worse cabinet.

Trump’s cabinet is different than last time. Contra your claims it is NOT made up of sychopants – it is not even made up entirely of people who share Trump’s ideology – though most do, and that is precisely what those who elected him wanted. His cabinet is significantly younger than the norm. With few exceptions it did NOT draw from the house or senate – that would atleast in the first few months make getting anything through congress harder.
It is made up of the next generation of Republican leaders.

Regardless – the economy is already starting to improve now that people know Trump will be president.

You rant about his cabinet – but Trump’s approval numbers are WAY up – and people like his cabinet better than Biden’s and Better than his 2016 cabinet.
Consumer sentiment has shot up. Biden is going to get an economic boost on the way out the door – because consumers are happy he is leaving and anticipating Trump.

Frankly most americans do not give a schiff what other foreign leaders think of us or our president.
What they care about is whether our president does what is best for America.

Foreign leaders are ALREADY making changes to OUR benefit.

Hezbolla sued for peace the day the election was decided – they want peace BEFORE Trump is president.
            Iran is promising to behave.
The Houthis have stopped F#$King arround in the red sea.
Qatar has started to ship Hamas leaders back to Gaza.
The EU has agreed to buy more LNG from the US.
Mexico is sending tropps to the Border to stop illegal immigrants from crossing.

Putin and Zellensky are talking about a peace deal.

ALL of this and much more happened either immediately or shortly after the election.
In nearly all cases those involved stated it was due to Trump winning.

We do not need foreign leaders to love us. We just need them to act as WE – the US wish.

Biden has ALWAYS been weak. Foreign leaders do not respect him – they walk all over him.
The world is at war because Biden/Harris are weak and stupid.

It will be at peace soon.

Inflation went up 0.2% again in October.

There is very good reason to beleive the economy will start a real recovery just because Trump was elected – as it did in 2016 – we were headed towards recession in 3Q2016 that reversed in 4Q 2016 when Trump was elected.

Inflation is more complex. getting an economic recovery without restarting atleast small amounts of inflation from where we are now is difficult.

In the long run we MUST get deficits under control. Cutting government spending is critical to accomplish that. But so is getting he economy jump started.

Regardless – any economist that is telling you that Tarrifs will cause inflation is full of schiff.

            AGAIN
Inflation is ALWAYS and EERYWHERE a monetary pheonmena.

In the Biden/Harris administration it was caused by the FED buying massive US debt caused by Trillions in stupid spending.
We must reduce debt and deficits, but even more importantly we must stop the FED from buying our debt. That is what causes inflation.
China buying US debt is problematic – but it does not cause inflation – because it does not create new money.
When or other countries or private lenders lend the US money – no new US dollars are created.
When we borrow from the Fed – the Fed creates money for our government to borrow.
That is what causes inflation – ALWAYS AND EVERYWHERE.

Any economist that claims that Tarrifs cause inflation, or War causes inflation, or high gase prices case inflation – is either a liar or a moron.

            1. Nice knockdown, point by point, Mr. Say, but I doubt this:

“Joe Biden is not the most corrupt president ever – frankly his corruption is pretty small potatoes – but it is very real and it have been going on for a long long time.”

Peter Schweizer, who writes numerous books on corruption, skewering right and left, said in his “Profiles in Corruption” that Biden will be the most corrupt man to ever occupy the White House. I’m taking his word for it. The House report on their impeachment investigation is several hundred pages long, and I doubt they caught all the corruption involved. The Executive branch itself covered for Biden’s corruption — 170 SARs and didn’t trigger a thing after all.

On top of this, Mark Steyn, a fellow well steep in politics worldwide says that the U.S. Democrats are the most corrupt political party in the English-speaking world. Once again, I can believe him.

              1. Kevin: if you lived outside of the MAGA bubble and ever read the writings of actual presidential historians, you would know that Trump ranks among the lowest in competence and accomplishments for US Presidents–right near the bottom. He is certainly the worst in modern history. You claim that Biden is “the most corrupt man ever to occupy the White House”. WHAT, exactly did Biden do that was corrupt–and WHERE is the proof? Republicans have tried in every way possible to smear Biden–hearing after hearing, witness after witness, and what did they come up with? Squat.

OTOH: Trump is a convicted felon–34 counts–the first US President to be a convicted felon. He fraudulently took people’s money for “tuition” to “Trump University”, and had to pay $25 million to his victims. He stole from his charitable foundation and had to repay the funds he stole plus pay a fine. He was adjudicated liable for sexually assaulting a woman and defaming her. He stole classified documents, claimed he returned them, but lied about it, returned some and forced the NARA to get a search warrant to retrieve the rest. The documents, some containing nuclear secrets that our enemies would love to get their hands on, were left lying around where anyone could get access to them. He tried to get Secretaries of State to falsify vote totals, he got fake “Electors” to falsify Electoral College docments and started an insurrection to try to prevent Biden from taking office–all based on the Big Lie. Trump has a dismal record of “leadership”–COVID out of control, new daily records for deaths and infections, the country mostly shut down, unemployment soared, the national debt soared, and his only legislative achievement was a tax break that mostly benefitted the very wealthy.

You claim Democrats are “the most corrupt political party in the English-speaking world”. Based on what, exactly? Don’t you know that the crap fed to you by MAGA media is paid for by billionaires who want to do away with regulations and get more tax breaks, so they feed you lies?

          2. “My god —you’re so full of hate and vitriol.” Another example of Gigs learning new words and phrases from other posters. Other recent copy-cat examples include “supra” and “Thank you” to a comment she likes, as well as her colon (:) after the name of her addressee. Maybe Gigi got her nursing license online?

      2. He’s a clever businessman-and does all this without selling access to Ukraine and China! (Idjit)

      3. Why does it drive you nuts that other people buy things you don’t ?

I find it stupid that idiots on the left buy signs that say “hate has no home here”

Do you think there are people out ther with signs that say ‘”proud racist lives here” ?

All you are doing is engaging in hypocritical virtue signaling.

But it is fortunately still a free country for the next 4 years – and you can buy what you want, and Trump supporters can buy what they want.

      4. Gigi, what right do you have to prevent others from buying things they desire? You are envious because no one wants anything you produce.

The desire to purchase these items is a statement of fond acceptance of Trump and wanting to be closer to him. How many would want to buy Biden’s Big Knife? None and that is why Trump won, and Biden lost.

        1. S. Meyer: I’m not trying to “prevent” anyone from purchasing anything. The purpose of my post is to point out that Trump is using the U.S. Presidency to make money–that it’s cheap, wrong, and unpatriotic to do so, and that he’s making fools out of the working class people who buy the crapola he sells. I guess he has to turn to selling crap because he has been forbidden by law to have any more charitable foundations he can steal from.

Uh, Biden “won” when he was pitted against Trump–by over 7 million votes. Trump “won” in 2024 because of lying, xenophobia, misogyny, racism and baseless promises of “soaring” personal wealth and a “precipitous” drop in the cost of housing and groceries.

          1. People want to get closer to the President. You are a snotty elitist who might have the resources to buy a signed picture to hang in your living room, but normal people looking for something similar are called fools by you. That is the type of person you are.

I have a MAGA hat and see very little difference in meaning compared to the watch.

“Uh, Biden “won” when he was pitted against Trump–by over 7 million votes. ”

The Democrat Party is criminal and successfully rigged the election. Biden didn’t receive that 7+ million votes. They were fraudulent, and that becomes clearer every day.

            1. Meyer, gigi isn’t even qualified to be a “snotty elitist.’ She’s a WANNABEE “snotty elitist” who rushes to her computer everyday when she gets off from her shift (work).

    6. Oh, and as far as this: “So here’s a word of warning to other guitar buffs on this blog. You better load up now because you are going to face a big sticker shock if you wait until after DJT is inaugurated to buy that guitar or accessory made in China. And this is why we can expect “buyer’s remorse” from a lot of people who voted for DJT. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!”

Not worried at all. I have guitars made in Korea, Indonesia, China, assembled in America from parts handcrafted in Canada (Godin), etc. I have already sold all my Gibsons, though I still have a couple of Epis left, a Riviera and a Studio Dot. I have one Epi, that thinks it is a Gibson, (EJ 200 Artist) and sounds like one. Even have Vox amps and headphone amps made in Vietnam. The only people buying high price guitars are professionals and guitar snobs. My Schecter Tele is better than my Fender Tele IMHO, as far as quality, and less than half the price. I have Michael Kelly guitars that sound and play as well as any guitar, and they are not expensive at all. My Yamaha FG 180 Reissue was made in China, and it is superb. Even have a cheap Squier Shepherd Fairy tele, and it sounds great.

The point is, there are way too many guitar manufacturers (even though many share the same factory) for prices to rise too much. They have been trying lately, over the past few years to raise prices a lot, because they over built during Covid, and it does not appear that it is working too well for them. I would be quite happy if wholesale used prices went up, because I would really thin my herd out by half or more. I could use the money. I tried to sell my Ravelle Limited a few months ago, of which there are only 36 in the world, but was offered squat. But the fact is, with CNC machines, even a cheap guitar can be modded up greatly, particularly Teles, and cheaply. I have a $106 Sawtooth Tele that I got at WalMart. It is a toploader, and I would love to get a Callaham bridge for it, and maybe some Pearly Gates, but money. And frankly, it sounds fine now, and plays pretty well, although I need to do some adjustments.

But no, rising guitar prices are not a big fear, even if I could afford any new ones.

    7. Dennis.

Spew nonsense where ever you want – thanks to the recent election it is still a free country.

I have no idea what 16 Creative is or what their relationship to Trump actually is.

What I do know is that you can not trademark the shape of a guitar – or anything else.

As to the rest of what you claim are grifts – fif anyone FORCE you or anyone else to buy these things ?
Then what business is it of yours.

I doubt Gibson has a case here – like most of the other faux legal claims against Trump you have Trumpeted – this will likely die
and possibly result in an award of legal fees to the defendant.

Nor is it clear from YOUR claims that Trump is even a defendant.
Gibson has had alot of problems in the past several years – I beleive Turley has written about those problems in the past.
And those problems had NOTHING to do with Trump.

“And we thought DJT would stop the scams and patent infringements during his second terms.”

WE never thought any such thing. YOU have yet to establish a Single Trump scam.
I personally have ZERO interest in Trump branded products – though there is a strong possibility that many of them MAY turn into lucrative investments.

Regardless – for all your ranting – the only thing you have ever established is that you are ANGRY that Trump and other engaged in free exchange on the free market.

So don;t buy a Trump guitar.

And NO this does not violate the emoluments clause of the constitution.

Is there the slightest change that you left wing nuts will tone down the lawfare that is part of why you lost the election ?

Is there any chace you will READ the constitution – rather than making it up ?

“No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.”

There is absolutely nothing in the emoluments clause that prohibits free exchange – so long as that exchange does NOT involve the use of govenrment power.

US office holders can run businesess, have AirBnb’s or hotels, trade stock – so long as they do not engage in insider trading,
They can buy things from kings or sell things to kings.
What they can not do is accept GIFTS from Kings, princes or foreign states.

“The grifter-in-chief will continue to violate the emoluments clause of the Constitution like he did in the first term.”

You are correct that he will continue as he did in his first term.
You are incorrect on the emoluments clause – that is a dead issue – the courts long ago tossed your absurd reading o f the constitution.

“And his lackeys in Congress will continue to protect him.”

How does congress protect him ? Congress does not have anything to do with the emoluments clause.

I am sure that the others on this blog will take your warnings with the seriousness they deserve.

    8. How about the Harris campaign claiming that Beyonce was going to preform. Millions of Beyonce fans singed up for tickets, the ones that did make it into the venue paid to see Beyonce perform. The trotted Beyonce out, she read a two minute statement and walked off stage. Pissed off Beyonce fans walked out, Harris got booed. Now that was a GRIFT! Seems if someone is willing to pay for a product, that happens to be signed by Trump, that is their choice. We call that a free market. Someone thinks something has value, they agree to the price to pay and they are willing to exchange their money for that product. It is not like the Harris campaign who claimed Beyonce was going to preform, got all those people to pay their money expecting a performance by Beyonce and then did not deliver. But what do the Democrats care? They got their money! That is a GRIFT!

  12. I used to love getting the paper every morning, especially on Sunday. Year by year the quality of writing worsened and then the points of view were leaning to the left. Then, our local paper started picking up more AP stories and there were less and less local writers. By 2020 it was not worth reading and so I dropped my subscription.

The same is true of the traditional stations and channels. I stopped watching any cable or traditional channels, including NPR. They were all saying (virtually) the same thing and it was bent toward the left.

Like many, I went around the established sources and glean information from many sources and try to ascertain what seems true.

I have no doubt that many have left these sources and thus these pundits are now irrelevant.

COVID was the terrible and Facebook, Twitter, Google and Wikipedia leaned to the left. There was scorn for those citizens who dared to question the “science.”

Time marches on and now many of the news establishments are left in the ashes. Good.

I suspect many people have figured out the deception.

    1. E.M.
Oh, I think many of us knew of the left slant. Since the election, many more have woken up to the fact MSM is nothing but DNC propaganda. They lost and by how much they lost is very telling. Not only was it a mandate for Trump but a mandate against MSM. We are watching MSM in their final throws of demise? We can only hope.

    2. E.M. says: Then, our local paper started picking up more AP stories and there were less and less local writers. By 2020 it was not worth reading and so I dropped my subscription.

That’s interesting! Here in the primarily small town/small city Republican area of Montana, that’s exactly what happened with local paper, The Daily Interlake.

When the majority of the news and opinion columns came straight from the AP and all that was left was very local news like “Bobcats defeat Grizz in exciting overtime”, we also dropped our subscription, inexpensive as it was. We didn’t have a parrot cage requiring cage liner material.

Your similar experience leaves me wondering how many local papers across America are now extensions of the Associated Press, surrogate newspapers helping them “speak their truths” to the local population, whatever their political leanings?

The Daily Interlake here is desperately hustling for subscriptions, offering deals we supposedly can’t resist if we just renew our lapsed subscription. AP news clearly isn’t as much in demand here in Montana as they expected it to be!

BTW, when we simply drop our subscriptions because the product we are buying now stinks, is that considered a boycott? Or cancelling alternate views?

      1. Old Airborne Dog,
This is sad, but it is not a boycott, it’s a free market decision.

We are their customers and they are not delivering the goods. They are tone deaf.

Technology has given us SO many more choices!

  13. Your blog is a true hidden gem on the internet. Your thoughtful analysis and in-depth commentary set you apart from the crowd. Keep up the excellent work!

    1. It’s hidden for a reason. It’s not as illuminating as it once was. Turley rarely offers real analysis. His columns have turned into what is essentially a propaganda source. Real scholars don’t comment on the blog, real lawyers rarely comment on the blog. Not when they are instantly attacked and insulted by the regular crowd. Substack provides a better platforme and better quality discussions.

      1. Svelaz the troll with more wisdom.

Yet here he is every single day, multiple times a day, running his fat mouth.

        Pathetic little human being.

      2. It’s hidden for a reason. It’s not as illuminating as it once was. Turley rarely offers real analysis.

Curious George the Woke Marxist Monkey drops his second Daily Deuce of the day. As always, beginning with insulting his and our host Professor Turley.

In George’s Blue Sky Marxist Democrat Borg bubble, Curious George is always right – and his evil nemesis Professor Turley is always wrong. We are not supposed to believe our lying eyes that tell us George is an execrable, nasty, desperately attention seeking Marxist Useless Idiot. (maybe if our host didn’t make it available for free, George and the rest of the Democrat trolls would go looking elsewhere for Free Stuff They Didn’t Earn)

You’ve won not a single person here over with your lies, insults, and Harris style word salad. And yet, here you are, every day to drop your daily deuces as self-aggrandizing proclamations.

Substack provides a better platforme and better quality discussions.

Once again begging the question: why do you spend your time here dropping your Daily Deuces instead of over there, Curious George?

Please assure is it’s something other than your personal sexual gratification you can’t get anywhere else, even on those substacks you mention.

What a cheap fake American you are!

      3. You could not be more wrong. You illuminate us daily of how delusional, how out of touch you and other leftist Democrats are. You illuminate us on how brainwashed and in a cult of the DNC you are. You prove to us how you only want a echo chamber, not tolerant of other view points. You are what we all rejected in the last election.
Those are not insults. Just criticism.

      4. Gosh, I was about to praise Turley, who, like real lawyers McCarthy and Dershowitz, has so skillfully exposed so many Democrats for the charlatans they are.

      5. * Real scholar and real lawyer George sez: “Real scholars don’t comment on the blog, real lawyers rarely comment on the blog.”

How grateful the audience should be that a real scholar and lawyer like yourself has the courage to comment on this blog!

I hope you aren’t instantly attacked and insulted by the deplorables here who never join you attending university, the ones from the common herd. The ones with their disgusting sweat stained blue collars who forego drinking a Starbucks specialty latte in the morning for a cup of plain old American joe brewed in their kitchen while they made their lunch before heading out to work.

        1. * general reply to blue skies

Birds of a feather flock together. It’s an example of natural segregation. It’s not by accident that 99.9 % of Chinese live in China or 99.9% of East Indians live in India etc. You’ve not noticed It’s natural. Woke is segregation and it’s fine.

          Enjoy

          1. Birds of a feather flock together??? I always thought it was brides of a feather flock together. No wonder the saying never made any sense to me.

      6. George – if you are so unhappy with Turley – why are you here ?

Might that be because – though Turley is still too slow to reach the truth – unlike those le4ft loon legal bloggers, Turly does eventually get there.

If you do not want “insulted” by being told that you are wrong – all that is necessary is to get your facts straight before posting.

Regardless those of you on the left are concurrently by far the most prone to ad hominem, and the thinnest skinned.

That comes part and parcel with the idiotic idea that you can silence – you have to be incredibly fragile to need protection from speech.
