Below is my column in the Hill on the recent World Forum where leaders gathered to declare “A New World Order with European Values.” Globalists gathered in Berlin to seek a new era based on European values that not only involve the expansion of transnational systems but the contraction of free speech rights.
Here is the column:
“A New World Order With European Values.” Emblazoned across banners and signs, those words met the participants at this week’s meeting of the World Forum in Berlin.
Each year, leaders, executives, journalists and academics gather to address the greatest threats facing humanity. This year, there was little doubt about what they view as the current threat: the resurgence of populism and free speech.
In fairness to the Forum, “a New World Order” likely sounds more ominous for some civil libertarians than intended. While the European Union is a transnational government stretching across 27 nations, the organizers were referring to a shift of values away from the United States to Europe.
As one of the few speakers at the forum who was calling for greater protections for free speech, I found it an unnerving message. Even putting aside the implications of the New World Order, the idea of building a world on today’s European values is alarming for free speech.
Free speech is in a free fall in Europe, with ever-expanding speech regulations and criminal prosecutions — including for having “toxic ideologies.”
The World Forum has a powerful sense of fraternity, even an intimacy, among leaders who see each other as a global elite — a cadre of enlightened minds protecting citizens from their own poor choices and habits.
There has long been a push for transnational governing systems, and European figures see an opportunity created by the conflict with President Trump. The European Union is the model for such a Pax Europaea or “European peace.”
The problem is that this vision for a new Holy Roman Empire lacks a Charlamagne. More importantly, it lacks public support.
The very notion of a “New World Order” is chilling to many who oppose the rise of a globalist class with the rise of transnational governance in the European Union and beyond.
This year, there is a sense of panic among Europe’s elite over the victory of Trump and the Republicans in the U.S., as well as nationalist and populist European movements.
For globalists, the late Tip O’Neill’s rule that “all politics is local” is anathema. The European Union is intended to transcend national identities and priorities in favor of an inspired transnational government managed by an expert elite.
The message was clear. The new world order would be based on European, not American, values. To rally the faithful to the cause, the organizers called upon two of the patron saints of the global elite: Bill and Hillary Clinton. President Clinton was even given an award as “leader of the century.”
The Clintons were clearly in their element. Speaker after speaker denounced Trump and the rise of what they called “autocrats” and “oligarchs.” The irony was crushing. The European Union is based on the oligarchy of a ruling elite. The World Forum even took time to celebrate billionaires from Bill Gates to George Soros for funding “open societies” and greater transnational powers.
The discussions focused on blunting the rise of far-right parties and stemming the flow of “disinformation” that fosters such dissent.
Outside of this rarefied environment, the Orwellian language would border on the humorous: protecting democracy from itself and limiting free speech to foster free speech.
Yet, one aspect of the forum was striking and refreshingly open. This year it became clear why transnational governance gravitates toward greater limits on free speech.
Of course, all of this must be done in the name of democracy and free speech.
There is a coded language that is now in vogue with the anti-free speech community. They never say the word “censorship.” They prefer “content moderation.” They do not call for limiting speech. Instead, they call for limiting “false,” “hateful” or “inciteful” speech.
As for the rise of opposing parties and figures, they are referred to as movements by “low-information voters” misled by disinformation. Of course, it is the government that will decide what are acceptable and unacceptable viewpoints.
That code was broken recently by Vice President JD Vance, who confronted our European allies in Munich to restore free speech. He stripped away the pretense and called out the censorship.
With the rise of populist groups, anti-immigration movements and critics of European governance, there is a palpable challenge to EU authority. In that environment, free speech can be viewed as destabilizing because it spreads dissent and falsehoods about these figures and their agenda. Thus far, “European peace” has come at the price of silencing many of those voices; achieving the pretense of consensus through coerced silence.
Transnational governance requires consent over a wide swath of territory. The means that the control or cooperation of media and social media is essential to maintaining the consent of the governed.
That is why free speech is in a tailspin in Europe, with ever-expanding speech regulations and criminal prosecutions.
Yet, it is difficult to get a free people to give up freedom. They have to be very afraid or very angry. One of the speakers was Maria A. Ressa, a journalist and Nobel laureate. I admire Ressa’s courage as a journalist but previously criticized her anti-free speech positions. Ressa has struck out against critics who have denounced her for allegedly antisemitic views. She has warned that the right is using free speech and declaring “I will say it now: ‘The fascists are coming.’”
At the forum, Ressa again called for the audience of “powerful leaders” to prevent lies and dangerous disinformation from spreading worldwide.
But the free speech movement has shown a surprising resilience in the last few years. First, Elon Musk bought Twitter and dismantled its censorship apparatus, restoring free speech to the social media platform. More recently, Mark Zuckerburg announced that Meta would also restore free speech protections on Facebook and other platforms.
In a shock to many, young Irish voters have been credited with killing a move to further expand the criminalization of speech to include “xenophobia” and the “public dissemination or distribution of tracts, pictures or other material” from viewpoints barred under the law.
Anti-free speech forces are gathering to push back on such trends. Indeed, Hillary Clinton has hardly been subtle about the dangers of free speech to the new world order. After Musk bought Twitter with the intention of restoring free speech protections, Clinton called upon the European Union to use its infamous Digital Services Act to make Musk censor her fellow Americans. She has also suggested arresting those spreading disinformation.
The European Union did precisely that by threatening Musk with confiscatory fines and even arrest unless he censored users. When Musk decided to interview Trump in this election, EU censors warned him that they would be watching for any disinformation.
For many citizens, European governance does not exactly look like a triumph over “oligarchs” and “autocrats.” Indeed, the EU looks pretty oligarchic with its massive bureaucracy guided by a global elite and “good” billionaires like Soros and Gates.
Citizens would be wise to look beyond the catchy themes and consider what Pax Europaea would truly mean to them. We have many shared values with our European allies. However, given the current laws limiting political speech, a “New World Order Based on European Values” is hardly an inviting prospect for those who believe in robust democratic and free speech values.

When you love government so much that your government must be governed you have a problem EU
Trump’s government is operating outside the law by using Signal to communicate, avoiding being on record. Hillary’s email scandal is nothing compared to this.
Hillary was sending classified information over the internet – that is a crime and you relaly can not be more incompetent.
Hillary also sent non-classified information over the internet. Depending on the information that may or may not be legal.
When it is illegal it is a violation of federal records keeping acts and it is not a crime.
Next – allin govenrment are NOT subject to Federal records laws.
Anyone who has been paying attention to the classified docs cases involving Trump and Biden would know that as a rule WH AND VP communications are NOT generally covered by federal records keeping laws.
WH communications are the property of the president at the time they were created – NOT the Federal Government.
So WH staff communicating witheach other is unlikely to be subject to federal record keeping laws.
Nor is all commnications with the executive but outside the WH.
Unless you are transmitting classified information – you can phone someone and not record the call.
As a rule you can not conduct official business outside of government channels. Though even that is not rigid.
The courts ruled that Trump’s directives on Twitter were official
They had previously ruled that the personal accounts of local government officials that included official communicats were transformed into official channels – and therefore could not be censored.
Communications that are deemed political – and not subject to federal records laws.
Communicatiosn that are personal are not subject to federal records laws.
“ Hillary was sending classified information over the internet – that is a crime and you relaly can not be more incompetent.”
She was sending confidential information, not classified information. Big difference.
All they found was she violated policy. No crimes were committed. No charges.
What just transpires is much worse. Communicating on Signal avoids laws requiring communications be on record. That’s a violation of the espionage act.
“ Next – allin govenrment are NOT subject to Federal records laws.”
Not true. Otherwise you would have cited the law saying they were exempt. Are privy of information that says they were exempt from federal record laws? No.
“ Nor is all commnications with the executive but outside the WH.
Unless you are transmitting classified information – you can phone someone and not record the call.
As a rule you can not conduct official business outside of government channels. Though even that is not rigid.”
They were discussing military operations outside a SCIF. They were using phones that can be easily tracked and they were using a commercial app instead of a military secured channel. None of them should have been on that app discussing war plans. They all knew this is illegal and very, very stupid. It showed incredible incompetence and stupidity. It matches the pattern of reckless handling of classified documents by Trump.
“ WH communications are the property of the president at the time they were created – NOT the Federal Government.”
Wrong. All white house communications are property of the government. The only exception are personal communications that have no effect on government policy.
You don’t understand how federal records laws work.
“ Anyone who has been paying attention to the classified docs cases involving Trump and Biden would know that as a rule WH AND VP communications are NOT generally covered by federal records keeping laws.”
They are ALL covered by the presidential records act. Its very specific about what is a government record and what is personal.
This emerging scandal involves military strategy and sensitive information about sources of intel weapons, and locations of military assets. All discussed on an unsecured commercial app outside of a SCIF. Hillary’s emails are nothing compared to this. This involved an actual security breach due to incompetence.
George says, “She was sending confidential information, not classified information. Big difference. ”
George: Coming from someone who had a security clearance while working for the Fed, there are THREE levels of classified documents: Confidential, Secret, and Top Secret.
Please do not attempt to impose your authoritative attitude over something that you apparently know nothing about. “Big difference,” says George.
Try to remember your very own words, supra: “You don’t understand how federal records laws work.”
Thanking you in advance.
Lin, you have evidence? Republicans spent millions of dollars and a lot of time trying to prove their allegations without anything to show for it. Its the same thing they did with the allegations of bribery on Biden.
We have real evidence that Trump has no idea what his cabinet is doing and who is signing proclamations and authorizations to attack other nations.
If Biden’s cabinet members were doing this MAGA would be flipping out of their minds and Turley would be writing nonstop about it.
Do I have evidence of what? What are you talking about, sorry, I do not understand?
George, for your edification, please read the attached statement from James Comey.
https://www.fbi.gov/news/press-releases/statement-by-fbi-director-james-b-comey-on-the-investigation-of-secretary-hillary-clinton2019s-use-of-a-personal-e-mail-system
p.s. what does “Trump has no idea what his cabinet is doing” have to do with this?
Are you saying that Hillary had no idea what information was being transmitted to/from her email account?
please don’t try to bring up others’ “whataboutism” again….
Thanking you in advance.
George, actually, yes, crimes were committed by Hillary Clinton. Are you unaware that you may not take top secret information from the State Department, or any level of classified information, into your home, store it on a bootleg server in your house, back it up to the Cloud, and allow IT personnel with Zero clearance to work on that server?
People get arrested for taking a selfie on a nuclear submarine.
As for the news about the Signal conversation discussing a classified military operation, inadvertently adding a journalist, yes, that violated protocol. It was a serious security breach. Not only was sensitive and classified information shared with an outside journalist, but the Signal app itself is not secured. Absolutely, it was wrong.
The double standard on violations of classified information handling is also wrong. It’s true that Hilary Clinton committed multiple crimes with that illegal server. She would have been given a briefing, and signed acknowledgement, that she understood the laws. It’s true that former President Biden stole classified information during his time as Senator and Vice President, stored them in boxes in an unsecured garage, gave some to the Chinese-funded Penn Biden Center, and gave access to his drug addicted son, Hunter, who directly referenced, and at times quoted, from the information when soliciting money from foreign entities. Meanwhile, Trump was charged for removing records, some of them he had declassified, while his attorneys did the usual quarrel with the National Archives.
I agree that the Trump Administration absolutely mishandled the classified discussion on this military operation. I also agree with the other commenter that there is a double standard on how violations are handled, depending on if the administration is Democrat or Republican.
If crimes were committed where were the charges?
Karen S.why don’t you just cite the MAGA media source that you regurgitate every time you post? That would save everyone time. Whenever a Republican is caught violating the law, MAGA media either projects or does a “whataboutism” that is based on lies.
So MAGA media will handle this by: 1. Calling the editor of the Atlantic a liar like Hegseth did; or 2. Projecting blame onto Democrats; or 3. Engaging in whataboutism; or 4. Ignoring the story altogether. Maybe some combination.
Hillary Clinton was investigated and found to have not deliberately violated the law. There was no men’s rea. Her situation is nowhere near to being comparable to the current crisis. Discussing highly classified information over an unsecured system is unprecedented. Not bothering to check who all was included in the discussion is pure incompetence. We are lucky that Goldberg is honest and patriotic—which is more than anyone can say about Trump or Hegseth, who should resign or be fired immediately. Nothing will happen though.
Trump DELIBERATELY STOLE classified documents— refused to return them, lied about returning all of them and moved around boxes to prevent his attorney from returning the remaining documents . Joe Biden’s possession of classified documents was inadvertent, as was Pence’s. When the Trump scandal broke, each of them went looking to see whether they had accidentally retained classified documents and when they discovered some, they immediately self- reported and returned the documents to the NARA.
Because Trump’s conduct is inexcusable, MAGA media made up a story about a president being able to “mentally declassify” documents and a lie that a president has a right to possess classified documents—neither is true. But you loyal MAGAts believe whatever they tell you.
There is NO double standard here— more MAGA media propaganda. Trump should have gone to prison.
“The current crisis”
What a fvxking stooge. There is no crisis.
“Hillary Clinton was investigated and found to have not deliberately violated the law. There was no men’s rea.”
You’re an idiot and a liar. Hillary didnt have mens rea to violate the Espionage Act. That is true. Which is how Comey gaslit you.
She should have been charged with violating 18 USC 1924. Mishandling classified material is a crime and the mens rea is demonstrated in the act itself. It doesnt matter if there was criminal motive.
She mishandled it. She INTENDED to mishandle it. It was not an accident. Punishable by 5 years in prison.
^^^giggles is afraid to use her gigi moniker because we all know how she likes to copy and paste. what, all that time on your hands, no representing all your legal customers today? Or were you nurse-working the nite shift at that group home?
“She was sending confidential information, not classified information. Big difference.”
George all of this was addressed almost a decade ago.
There was over 30K emails that were required to be stored on Government servers – a violations of the Federal Records ACt.
There were about 3500 emails that contained classified information in one form or another. Some contained cuts and pastes that still had the classified tags. There were over 300 that were classified Top Secret and there were approx 30 that were Top secret code worde access only. There was atleast one Document covering the Drone Targeting of terrorists which is very close to the most classified documents in the US govenrment.
Furthe rClinton forwarded classified documents over the internet to people who had no security clearances.
Most specifically she forwarded alot of classified information to Sydney Bluementhal. Blumenthal is a very close Clinton aparatich.
Blumenthal is point on some of Clintons’ nastiest dirty tricks. Blumenthal was the instigator of the Obama was born in Kenya stuff which is why Blumenthal had no security clearance and was NOT allowed in the Obama administration with Clinton.
Obama’s deal to allow Clinton to be Sec State had several provisions – most of which she violated. But one of which was NO Sydney Blumenthal. Anyway Clinton forwarded LOTS of classified docs to Blumenthal who used them to make money as a cunsultant to mideast powers. Much like Manafort did in eastern Europe.
I would further note this goes Beyond just the basement Bathroom email server.
Clinton’s email was being “backed up” on Huma Abedien’s laptop – which Anthony Weiner ended up with.
There were approximately 10 backups of Clinton’s email on that laptop, so if there were 30,000 classified docs on the server – there were 30,000 on the laptop. According to Comey – Clinton’s email server had approx 80000 total emails – of which about half were Government rather than personal. And Huma Adedin’s laptop had 700,000 emails on it – again basiclally 10 compies of the server.
Every single copyu of a classified documents is considered to be another violation of the law.
Further Clinton’s email server was hacked by a hostile foreign power that was reading her emails in real time.
Nor is this the end of the story – the Classified information had to get into Clinton’s emails.
The State Department has an entire Floor that is a SCIF – the Sec. State and her immediate sttaff all have offices there and separate offices on another unclassified floor. When they go to the SCIF cel phones are confiscated. In the SCIF their computers are connected to the Governments secure network. Computer do not have floppy disks or USB ports or printers. You can review classified information on screen, or in Paper reports that are all uniquely tagged, signed in and out and may not leave the SCIF.
You are supposed to be searched on the way in and out of the SCIF.
The reason for the complaints about Clinton and Staff smashing Blackberruy’s and phones is because Clinton had to get Classified information out of the SCIF. Either paper classified report originals in Binders with bright colorful markings were smuggled out and in, or classified information was transcribed from screens onto note paper of pictures of screens were taken on phones. Regardless whatever was done the classified information was smuggled out of the SCIF and then transcribed, scanned or otherwise put into Clinton’s emails.
There is zero doubt that much of her staff was complicit – which is why the devices were destroyed.
I would further note that the effort to smuggle classified information on a large scale is consciuoness of guilt.
Clinton was Sec State – not the president. Every president can and does take classified information with them wherever they go – though usually there is staff to keep track of it. The EO on Classified information allows a more limited but similar privildge to the VP as well as ex-presidents and ex-vp’s.
Absolutely no one else can have classified information outside of a Classified setting. Classified information is always in a SCIF, Being Transported by and FSO in a secure carrier, in the office or someone with Classified access in their secure safe or in their office with absolutely no one else present.
Even discussions of classified information can only take place in secure fascilities with all in attendance vetted by an FSO.
The only people who should EVER have classified information in their home are presidents and ex-presidents, VP’s while they are VP – after they maintain clearances, but have the same rules as everyone else in government.
The claim that Clinton only had confidential information is a claim with as much truth as The hunter Biden laptop is russian disinformation.
Next “confidential” – IS Classified.
There are three primary levels of classification.
Top Secret
Secret
and Confidential.
ALL a classified, all are illegal to remove from secure handling.
There are also various tags and catagorizations inthin those 3 levels
There is also law regarding how classified information must be marked. How it must be bound in paper documents.
If you read a classified document, and then use information from the document in a report, email, or verbal exchange, there are details rules for how you have to identify it and who you can distribute it to.
Carrying it around in your mind Does not transform it from classified to unclassified.
it is the INFORMATION – not the packaging that is classified – though there areules on how the information must be packaged.
Regardless you are lying badly once again.
“All they found was she violated policy. No crimes were committed. No charges.”
False.
“What just transpires is much worse. Communicating on Signal avoids laws requiring communications be on record.”
Again false – or inaccurate. As I noted in another post – all communications bt government personall are not subject to the FRA.
All phone calls as an example are not recorded.
Even texts on government phones are generally not recorded – unless directed by subpeona as in the case of the FBI phones that Mueller had Wiped whent he IG was investigating Crossfire huricane.
Nearly every government office has social media accounts now – those are by caselaw considered official communications.
The PResident can issue an EO by tweet – so the courts have ruled.
“That’s a violation of the espionage act.”
False, The espionage act is specific to classified information.
“Not true. Otherwise you would have cited the law saying they were exempt. Are privy of information that says they were exempt from federal record laws? No.”
Not how the law works. This is another stupid left wing nut argument. I would note that even if communications on Signal were the subject of the FRA – it still would not have been violated. The FRA is not about whether something is classified, it is only about what records must be preserved and that is NOT all records. Further the FRA is not a criminal statute.
“Unless you are transmitting classified information – you can phone someone and not record the call.”
Or text them, or tweet to them. or communicate with them via smoke signals.
“They were discussing military operations outside a SCIF. ”
Which they can do. Do you think that soldiers take SCIF’s with them onto the battlefield ?
All military communications are not classified. Generally everything military is dealt with differently.
“They were using phones that can be easily tracked and they were using a commercial app instead of a military secured channel.”
Please , you are completely clueless. The military does have secure communications equipment – they have a system entirely different from the Classified system in the rest of the government.
about 2 decades ago I had a TS/SCI clearance – that iis the highest clearance you can have short of Code Word.
One of the major areas I worked on was military communications and processing military communications and routing between differing military communications links. At that time there were about 2 dozen different hardware layer military links and nearly 100 different military communications protocols.
Military communicatiosn are RADICALLY different from classified information.
A trivoil explanation fo the difference is
One of the reasons Hillary Clinton hates Julian Assange is that Assenge intercepted and was abble to publish the clear text of Hillaries communications for our foreign embassies and his included alot of derogatory remarks about foreign leaders.
The systems for encoding and communicating state department information must be MORE secure and have BETTER encryption than the military, but they are usually MUCH slower. Why ? Because 20 years from now another world leader reading what a Sec State 2 decades ago said about them is an international crisis.
Conversely the targeting information for a Hellfire missle needs to be secure for less than 15 minutes.
You are making STUPID assumptions about things you know absolutely nothing about.
If as an example Trump officials sent messages over Signal saying – “we should hit this target over there”
That information is NOT marked classified. It is probably technically classified – for about 15 minutes.
Once the target is hit – it is public knowledge probably reported on media and no longer classified.
John Say
You NEVER held a TS clearance. And once again you yapped that fat mouth until you said something stupid.
Janes Fighting Ships contained a good deal of information that was still classified at the time.
I have told you before. Just because information is “public knowledge” or has ben divulged in some way does not make that information no longer classified.
If you think that, I must surmise that you’ve never had training on classified material.
“You NEVER held a TS clearance. And once again you yapped that fat mouth until you said something stupid.”
From 2003-2005 I worked for a company called ANZUS which was later bought by Rockwell Collins,
My primary project was called “Rosetta” which was a real time SQL like server that connected to every single military data link known to the US govenrment – that is lightly under 100, it allowed scripted routing of secure military data from one link to another. One very common example was that it allowed the exchange of data between Link-11 – with it the most common OTH military communication scheme to Link16 which is a much faster PTP comunications system. AWACS and F16’s use Links 16 as an example, while SHips and ground troops use Link11.
I had was personally and solely responsible for getting Rosetta to work under Linux – it was origially developed as a Windows Server.
And for adding non-Windows RPC functionality – Corba, SHM, XML-RPC among others.
One of the purposes of this was to allow Rosetta to be integrated into AEGIS.
After Working at Anzus I was a founder in astartup called Pico Computing. I worked on projects for JPL – that project was so highly classified that I have no idea what the actual purpose of the code I was writing was. I worked on encryption/decruption projects for the FBI – we sold an FPGA/HPC decryption devide to the FBI that was put into Every FBI field office that could decrypt and encripted email 300,000 times faster than the Fastest Intel based PC in 2007. I also did work for LANL, and for the AEC involved in tracking nuclear materials.
Yes, I had a TS/SCI for several years.
And YES I know what I am talking about.
With near certainty the information about my security clearance was one of the massive numbers that the Chinese managed to get in their data breach about a decade ago.
I have not had a clearance for more than a decade. But that does not mean I never had one.
“Janes Fighting Ships contained a good deal of information that was still classified at the time.”
If the information has been released to the public – it is NO LONGER CLASSIFIED.
That is how the law works.
“I have told you before. Just because information is “public knowledge” or has ben divulged in some way does not make that information no longer classified.”
And you remain WRONG.
First – it is an affirmative defense against the espionage act to prove that the information you are accused of was publicly avaiable at the time you released it.
Next – if you ever had the introductor or yearly classified refreshers you would be aware that people with clearances are explicitly told that once information is made public – it is no longer classified, but that they need to be careful because even if SOME information is made public, ONLY the information made public is declassified.
“If you think that, I must surmise that you’ve never had training on classified material.”
Then you would be wrong., and clearly YOU have never had classified materials handling training.
I filled out my SF-86 in February 2003, I received a Temp TS/SCI approx 30 days later and a permanent one after the FBI completed its investigation.
Do you even know what an SF-86 is – without googling it ?
ATS – this stuff by idiots like you is just boring. And is typical of left wing nuts.
My expertise in the LAW regarding Classified information comes primarily from the caselaw.
My knowledge of the process – how you get a security clearance, what your obligations are how you access classified information, how you exchange classified information with others – comes from The classified information training that anyone who has held a clearance must receive. As well as personal experience.
It is likely there are MINOR changes since my clearance expired over a decade ago,
but the law has not significantly changed and the processes are not likely radically different.
“None of them should have been on that app discussing war plans”
False, Signal is encrypted. It is more secure than a cellphone. It is much more secure than a landline.
It may not meet the appropriate standards – but it is not the same as dumping information on the internet.
I would bet you that signal is used throughout government for secure communications.
The issue is NOT that they were using Signal – it is that Jeffrey Goldberg was purportedly inadvertantly on the list.
“They all knew this is illegal and very, very stupid. It showed incredible incompetence and stupidity. It matches the pattern of reckless handling of classified documents by Trump.”
All false.
The SINGLE stupid part of this was accidentally infcluding Goldberg – that is presuming that what was shared accidentally with Goldberg was actually classified.
Regardless, this does not compare to either Clinton or Trump.
Clinton;s actions were without any doubt intentional.
Pence’s as an example were not.
Biden’s were intentional.
Trump’s actions may or may not have been intentional – and for them to be a crime – the transfer of Classified documents to MAL had to be UNINTENTIONAL Otherwise there is no crime. Presidents are different. If the President intentionally transfers classified information to himself or anyone else that does not have clearance – then it is defacto declassified.
It the president transfers it with the intention of having access after he is president – it is declassified.
There is not another person in govenrment for whom that is true.
I would note that if you actually bothered to REad Jack Smith’s claims he made it CLEAR that he was NOT claiming that Trump intentionally transfered classified information to MAL. His claim is that it was NOT intentionally transfered andTHEREFORE Trmp had a duty to return it when he was no longer president. But even that argument fails under the PRA – because the caselaw is that WH documents classified or not are the property of the ex-president to do with as they please.
“Wrong. All white house communications are property of the government. ”
Absolutely totally false. Please actually read the case law – Chenney vs. Crew and JW vs. NARA to start.
“You don’t understand how federal records laws work.”
The Federal Records act ECPLICITLY does not apply to WH documents.
That is separately covered by the PRA.
The PRA ONLY deals with Custody – not ownership – Ownership remains with the person who was president at the time of the documents creation.
“They are ALL covered by the presidential records act.”
Correct.
“Its very specific about what is a government record and what is personal.”
Wrong and Wrong.
First the PRA deals with Custody – not ownership.
Next the PRA si only constitutional if the relatively VAGUE standards it imposes on what is personal or not are advisory.
If they are law – then the PRA is unconstitutional.
“This emerging scandal involves military strategy and sensitive information about sources of intel weapons, and locations of military assets.”
No it is just an embarrassment.
“All discussed on an unsecured commercial app outside of a SCIF.”
Signal is quite secure. Separately do you actually think the governemtn does not use commerical secutity tools ?
The faux paux here is including Jeffrey Godberg in the exchanges – nothing else.
Next thus far we do not actually know what was in these communications.
Goldberg has not shared them only CLAIMS about their contents.
George as usually you are a moron.
People have been discussing the law, and the details of the law regarding the handling of classified information for more than a decade right here on this blog.
Before you go ranting idiotically – you should not that confidential IS Classified, that military information is different from national security information. That the same processes, equipment and rules do not apply.
You should KNOW that the system of classification is implimented by EO – because national security information is OUTSIDE the domain of Congress – which is why the PRA is only advisory with respect to the President, and only gives CUSTODY to NARA, with the president retaining CONTROL, and CONTROL OF ACCESS.
You do not seem to know anything about how security clearances work, about how classified documents are handled.
Nor are you familiar with the extensive debate on the law and the subject that has occured here and in the courts.
You are ranting ignorantly on something you do not know about.
In approx. 2005 I had a TS/SCI clearance. I worked on Military comunications systems. I worked on a project called Rosetta that allowed scripted translastion of information from one military data link to another.
Do you know what Link 11 is ? Do you know what Link 16 is ? There are many others but these are the two major US/NATO military data communications links.
The leftists hate Trump because he bullies the authoritarians who want to take away everyone else’s freedom. Now that’s the kind of bullying a person can live with: bullying that makes freedom and civilization possible. Just like Shane “bullied” the cattlemen’s hired guns. Trump will leave the scene when there are no more guns in the valley.
Conservatives hate Trump because he is a profoundly immoral and unethical person.
Anonymous 8:43 PM -And we know that Washington DC is full of pristine, ethical, and moral people and Politicians everywhere. I think not . I have heard and read many different descriptions. None were ever flattering. We don’t need angels there. Junkyard dogs would probably be the best match. Politics is a full contact sport.
Here is an excerpt from pundit Sheila Kennedy, citing a recent post by Doonesbury author Gary Trudeau on responsibly bringing about government efficiency that Al Gore did when Bill Clinton was President:
“The comic strip’s radio personality, Mark, gets a call from Al Gore. The conversation focuses on what Mark says was Gore’s “jam”–government efficiency. Gore explains that it had indeed been his “job one” as Vice President, and that in the space of seven years that effort had reduced the federal workforce by 426,000 workers, consolidated 800 agencies and eliminated 640,000 pages of rules.
When Mark says “Wait. Why didn’t I know any of that,” Gore responds “You didn’t notice because the process was carefully planned and responsibly executed. It never disrupted essential public services. Compare that to now.”
Gigi, you did notice – because republicans favored cutting govenrment. They were NOT going to highlight and credit Gore/Clinton for Republican priorities that Gore/Clinton delivered on.
It would be hard to do anything more incompetently than anything Gore did.
There is nothing wrong with what Trump is doing – except that you are suffering from TDS – Nothing has direupted essential public servives.
Government jobs – is not an essential public service.
Research studies transing mice are not an essential public service.
Can you name an actual essantial public service that has been disrupted – Except by stupid court orders.
Lets assume that you are correct.
Are you conceding that Trump is empowered to cut $1.6T/yr fromt he federal; budget – so long as he dis not “disrupt essential public services” ?
Can you identify a single “essential public services” that has been disrupted ?
Further – what is your actual argument – that Trump is totalitarian, or that he is moving to fast and disrupting things ?
Most everyone here knows that if Trump giver the presidential medal of freedom to Mother Theresa – you would object that Trump was doing something fascist.
Can you name a single thing Trump has cut that you agree with ?
Gore Claims he cut nearly 500,000 federal jobs.
Trump so far has less than half of that in cuts over the next 9 months.
Is there a single Trump job Cut that you think was a good idea ?
The overwhelming majority of Trump job cuts are people who were hired within the past 24 months.
Are you honestly going to try to argue that someone who has only been on the job for less than 24 months is expert and irreplaceable ?
Gigi
Pretty much the whole world knows that i Trump did it – whatever it is
you are opposed.
That is called TDS
Most people do not listen to you
Because
You don’t matter any more
When someone shoots up an elementary school killing dozens of kids, MAGA responds with thoughts and prayers.
When someone sets fire to a Tesla, MAGA says it is domestic terrorism
Can someone explain this to me ????
When someone shoots up an elementary school, MAGA condemns it. If the shooter is transgender, the police hide that fact – a concealment which is also worthy of condemnation. MAGA also condemns domestic terrorism in any form, including the firebomb attacks on Tesla and Tesla dealerships. So . . . what in the actual f–k is your point?
Thank you – I missed the fact that conservatives do NOT support shooting up teens with steriods that are KNOWN to cause rage and violence.
Easy – “your wrong”
Conservatives want to end gun free school zones.
Nearly every mass shooting that has ever occured in the US has been in a “zone” where gones were not allowed.
Conservatives want teachers o be able to securely bring firearms to schools so that shooters have to be affraid that ever time they go through a door there could be someone with a gun.
The more you make a mass shooter slow down the fewer people will be hurt.
Law enforcemnt and overwhelming firepower will arrive eventually.
But governemtn force is NOT arround every corner. Which is why the 2A exists – because if you have to wai for government to protect you – your dead.
Conservatives support armed security officiers at schools.
Conservative support red flag laws – identfying those prone to violence and after proper due process restricting their gun rights.
Conservatives and libertarains support imperfect solutions to problems that will improve things but not make the problem go away.
Because we live in a real world.
Left wing nuts support utopia goals and are willing to do anything – whether there is a snow balls chance of its making a difference to virtue signal their concern.
I do not care if you “feel my pain”
I care if your solution to some problem is actually an overall imptovement.
DOES IT WORK ?
With those ont eh left the answer is not just “NO” but usually “H311 NO!”
John Say,
Great comment!
Mussolini would love the idea of a “New World Order Based on European Values” as promoted by the elites and oligarchs. It’s fascism pure and simple.
In the US it’s called “Make America Great Again.”
No, in the US, the MAGA movement is diametrically opposed to it, as everyone on planet earth knows. What planet do you live on.
MAGA means violence against the state on January 6th, then turning around and lying about it and calling these criminals heroes.
“Everything inside the government
nothing outside the governemtn
nothing against the governmetn”
Musollini’s defintion of fascism.
Sounds like AOC – not Trump.
Right now we are seeing real efforts to REDUCE govenrment – that is ANTIFASCISM.
With the left opposing tooth and nail – that is FASCISM
Words have meaning
Turley you’re a total joke. Free speech is your gotcha issue to criticize everything to the left of ultra right wing extremism. You hate abrogation of free speech when it’s the speech of ultra right wing extremists. When it’s any speech to left of that… nothing to see here.
What’s especially hilarious today is the Trump clown show using a social media app to conduct high stakes national security in bombing Yemen. Can’t wait to read what excuse the Trumptards have for that clown show. LOL, Trump blamed it on the reporter who was included in the social media string. What an incompetent demented idiot. File that will “eating cats and dogs” and “100 million in condoms send to Gaza.”

Inadvertent mistake or not – You can;t say Trump’s Admin is not be transparent.
I guess total incompetence could be called transparency.
“Full transparency is when you’re wearing clear jeans and no underwear.”

“ What’s especially hilarious today is the Trump clown show using a social media app to conduct high stakes national security in bombing Yemen.”
That’s wild! Using Signal to communicate war plans?! The same app used by racists and neo-nazis, the proud boys, etc? Wow.
Hegseth may be the culprit in this. He’s the only bozo who could have thought this was a good idea. Somebody is getting fired and Trump’s incompetence is not surprising. I bet they even discussed war plans with china on that app too. Hilarious!
Why would anyone get fired ?
Bad Guys got hit.
. . . the speech of ultra right wing extremists.
Translation into English: any speech by someone to the right of Fidel Castro.
ATS – as typical you spout indecipherable nonsense.
Free speech is Simple.
As the first amendment says GOVERNMENT may not infringe on your right to free speech.
There is no first amendment right with respect to private actors
EXCEPT, that Government may not accomplish through a private actor what it can not do directly.
AND if the govenrment provides a private ACTOR funding it may become a government agent and be subject to the same rules as the government.
As a rule there is no right that government cannot infringe on.
But there are criteria that must be met for govenrment to infringe.
first amendment rights are subject to strict scrutiny.
To meet strict scrutiny an infringement must
Be for a “compelling govenrment interest”
Narrowly tailored.
Least restrictive means.
After that while nearly all speech is protected by the first amendment some is more protected and some is less.
Political speech has the highest degree of protection.
While
obscenity
incitement to violence
and he speech of minors has the least protection.
Next – citizens have the greatest protection of their free speech.
While people outside the US have no free speech protection from the US govenrment.
Non-citizens seeking visa’s can be discriminated against based on speech.
Non-Citizens with visas have some – but not much protection for their speech.
non-citizens with residence status have more first amendment protection than those with visas but not as much as citizens.
These are the rules, they have been the rules for 250 years.
Most on the right and left have limited understanding of these rules – but the understanding of the left is much worse than anyone else and the left today is far more hypocritical and lacking in self awareness.
You ave a problem with tanking out terrorists ?
Don’t worry. If MAGA media can’t lie away the incident, they will dream up a lie that will place blame elsewhere— maybe they can find a way to blame Obama and Biden.
Heavily- tattooed and deeply stupid and incompetent Hegseth actually called Jeffrey Goldberg, the Editor of The Atlantic, the one who reported receiving the text, a liar— calling him “deceitful and highly discredited”. So Hegseth decided to try to lie his way out of this boondoggle.
Goldberg was interviewed by Jen Psaki and reported that he received a great deal of details that could harm our military that he declines to disclose to defend himself against Hegseth’s attack against his integrity. At least there’s one person who puts America ahead of his own interests.
Senator Schiff said that this kind of “highly classified” information should never have been discussed in a chat format. Criminal laws may also have been violated.
What details could harm out military ?
Houthis bad, hit them hard.
If Goldberg was inadvertently provided information – he can report it.
But Goldberg is not especially reputable, though there are fat worse.
I thought left wing nuts liked tattoos
Did the Houthis get hit ? Again and again ?
Did Trump not state publicly – that if they did not leave shipping olone they were going to get hit ?
FINALLY !!!!
A judge has ruled in favor of free speech for students on a college campus.
“In recent years, the commitment to free speech on campuses has been both challenging and challenged,” ruled Judge Lee H. Rosenthal. Former President George H.W. Bush appointed Rosenthal to the bench in 1992.
“There have been efforts from all sides of the political spectrum to disrupt or prevent students, faculty, and others from expressing opinions and speech. But the law requires the recognition and application of speech rights and guardrails that preserve and protect all our treasured First Amendment rights.”
The judge ruled in favor of a Texas A&M student group planning to hold an annual event.
The Board of Regents had banned the event.
The annual event is known as Draggieland.
It is a drag show put on by the Queer Empowerment Council, a student group at the College Station campus.
I’m sure everyone here, as well as Turley, will be absolutely delighted by this ruling on free speech at a college campus.
I eagerly await a comprehensive analysis of this ruling by Prof. Turley.
Praise be!
If Jesus had a machine gun…
Turley won’t touch it. He isn’t going to lend any credit to that kind of win. It’s contrary to the Fox news narrative.
I have no idea if Turley will report on this – he does not report on every little free speech victory.
Nor has this anything to do with Fox. BTW Fox reported on it – neutrally.
My question is; who is paying for it?? If the Uni or taxpayers are being required to pay the draggers then it is not free speech it is kickback speech.
I beleive it is a state funded university. Usually these things are funded by student activity feees thoguh the may be a university match.
Regardless, so long as they are sponsored by student groups, and not violent they can not be banned.
What happens when God shows you who you are
In the Bible, “gazing stock” refers to being made a public spectacle, an object of scorn or ridicule, often in the context of persecution or suffering for one’s faith, as seen in Hebrews 10:33.
If Texas A&M is banning drag shows but allowing similar events – then the judge is correct.
Now hopefully there will be no occupation of buildings or other violence or disruption.
Brian Kilmeade of Fox News apparently thinks we should get rid of due process, because it is too cumbersome.
Any thoughts on this Jonathan.
Let’s get rid of the Bill of Rights and all the rights granted in the Constitution. That just gets in the way of Donald Jesus Trump doing whatever he wants to do.
Actually that is a quote from President Wilson, President Roosevelt, and President Obama. Resident Biden could not be disturbed from nappy time for a comment.
ATS it would be nice if there was context.
Regardless if We are refering to the Boasberg case – Boasberg err’ed.
The Due process that Tda members are entitled to under the AEA is a Habeus hearing – where they are free to try to establish they are NOT Tda members – but the standard of proof for the govenrment is very low.
Those depoerted to El Salvador were already convicted of crimes in Venezueala. They are in El Salvador serving out sentences because Venezuela refused to take them.
That changed today – so now Boasberg is precluding their being returned to Jail in Venezeula.
European values! How ironic that the current European elite are seemingly aligning themselves with the failed regressive policies of the past. The Vatican added to its list of forbidden books (Index Librorum Prohibitorium) the writings of one of the founders of modern algebra, Rene Descartes, because his rationalism left “no place for God”. Of course this only made his works all the more popular with the result that Descates’ writings have heavily influenced our thinking in mathematics and philosophy.
At the end of the day, the principle of free speech is more than the ability to achieve personal satisfaction that one can freely speak one’s mind. It is about societal progress. With it comes the cost of tolerating instabilities in public discourse. But if we can endure a messy process, the reward is the revealing of truths.
“Each year, leaders, executives, journalists and academics gather to address the greatest threats facing humanity.”

One of the Mitlaufer Trolls below, posted a piece from the NYT about “Authorotarian” Trump silencing the media, Big Law and universities. Let me provide a different take on this, from an ex-democrat, J H Kunstler, specifically about the Big Law part of the Axis of Evil:
These days, lawyers are hard at work to replace civilized order with the terror and chaos of nature — which is to say, the seeking of raw power: this is what I can do to you! That primal despotism is the motivating engine of the Democratic Party in its terminal phase, a feral, power-seeking monster. It was why, in case you hadn’t noticed, the essential drive of Woke politics was the sadistic pleasure it took in exacting its endless punishments — cancellation, personal ruin, censorship — not correcting alleged injustices against marginalized minorities. And that tells you, by the way, exactly why the J-6 defendants were treated so harshly by the likes of Judge James Boasberg, Tanya Chutkan, and their colleagues of the DC federal district.
The enabling device for that monstrous power seeking of the Democratic Party was the colossal racketeering operation they implanted in every corner of the federal government, an insidious process that accelerated during the Obama years, eluded discipline during Trump One — with the many distracting ruses such as RussiaGate — and surged into final overdrive during the perfidious term of “Joe Biden,” America’s first false-front president.
And so, after the fishy 2020 election, and during the disastrous “Biden” years, Mr. Trump had time to lay careful and comprehensive plans for ending the massive racketeering and for restructuring the federal apparatus into a leaner, more efficient, and more lawful enterprise for managing the civil society known as the USA. Which brings us to the present.
Mr. Trump’s lawfully appointed agent, Elon Musk, and his legally chartered investigative advisory unit, called DOGE, has begun making recommendations for severe cuts in agencies and employees, which have been executed by the lawfully confirmed heads of agencies, and the chief executive himself. Thus, the rapid, systematic disassembly of the Democratic Party’s grift machine and the end of its immense revenue stream. No more USAID and its thousands of NGO money laundromats. No more Department of Education and its Grant-O-Matic depredations in the universities. No more work-from-home (but not really) nonsense. No more DEI reverse racism in hiring. No more flooding the swing state voting precincts with illegal aliens. No more stupid proxy war in Ukraine. No more gender pretending chaos. You see how it goes now.
Also, thus, the Democratic Party’s last resort: the federal judiciary, 235 new judges jammed into office in the twilight weeks of “Joe Biden” (as Senate Minority Leader Schumer bragged on Sunday’s TV talk circuit), plus the ones such as Boasberg, Chutkan, et al., already on the bench, primed to thwart Mr. Trump’s efforts to govern at every turn. They are the Dems’ only remaining lever of power. And they can only be activated by lawyers filing suits against Mr. Trump — hundreds having been filed in the past eight weeks. And these, as you learned in the Friday post here, are directed by attorney lawfare field marshal Norm Eisen, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, using the many well-paid lawfare lawyers at his disposal.
In politics, momentous things often happen on weekends. This past Saturday, Mr. Trump released a White House memorandum directing the Attorney General and the Director of Homeland Security “to seek sanctions against attorneys and law firms who engage in frivolous, unreasonable, and vexatious litigation against the United States or in matters before executive departments and agencies of the United States.”
More specifically, the president’s memo asserts:
Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11 prohibits attorneys from engaging in certain unethical conduct in Federal courts. Attorneys must not present legal filings “for improper purpose[s],” including “to harass, cause unnecessary delay, or needlessly increase the cost of litigation.” FRCP 11(b)(1). Attorneys must ensure that legal arguments are “warranted by existing law or by a nonfrivolous argument for extending, modifying, or reversing existing law or for establishing new law.”
This is the first time that legal discipline has been leveled directly at the lawfare lawyers themselves. (Election-rigging maestro Marc Elias is mentioned by name in the memo.) It means that after eight years of this noxious gamesmanship, they are going to have to start answering for their actions, they will have to lawyer-up on their own account, and they are going to discover (the old saying goes) how the process is the punishment.
Next, if it is not already underway at the DOJ, Mr. Trump must direct AG Bondi to explore the parties financing this lawfare — this “frivolous, unreasonable, and vexatious litigation” — and you should suppose that it has been emanating from the checkbooks of George Soros, Reid Hoffman, and other wealthy seditionists, who, likewise, will have to do some serious ‘splainin’ why they should not go to prison. One thing for sure: the money for all this is going to dry up.
https://www.kunstler.com/p/the-last-resort
Not to be outdone, Democrat AGs in blue states are waging lawfare on Trump’s administration even if their lawsuits have nothing to do with the states they represent as AGs
Litigation Tracker: Legal Challenges to Trump Administration Actions
Total number of cases tracked: 135
https://www.justsecurity.org/107087/tracker-litigation-legal-challenges-trump-administration/
There’s nothing in the tracker which suggests it’s “lawfare.” Calling perfectly legitimate questions about citizenship and due process illegitimate, which is what you’re doing, is kind of what the Nazis did as the first step to take away citizenship from German Jews, Muslims, gypsies, homosexuals, etc. Pretty despicable of you.
Don’t you leftists ever get tired of comparing anything and everything you disagree with to Nazis. Get a new line; everyone just rolls their eyes at that one.
“There’s nothing in the tracker which suggests it’s “lawfare.” ”
People know lawfare when the see it.
“Calling perfectly legitimate questions about citizenship and due process illegitimate”
The constitution prohibts the courts from issuing advisory oppinions.
You go to court making a claim that someone else has harmed you and violated the law, and you provide proof that is the case, or you lose.
States have ZERO standing on issues of citizenship.
They have zero standing on issues of immigration, it is purely a federal matter, and mostly an executive matter.
“is kind of what the Nazis did as the first step to take away citizenship from German Jews, Muslims, gypsies, homosexuals, etc. Pretty despicable of you.”
Absolutely no one has lost citizenship.
If you have Jus Soli citizenship – that can not be taken from you ever PERIOD.
That is one of he FEW EO’s that Trump will lose on.
If you are naturalized, it is incredibly difficult to take away citizenship – at MOST half a dozen people a year have their citizenship revoked.
There is a list of cases on DOJ’s website. broadly the requiremets to revoke citizenship are that you must have committed crimes outside of the US, and you must have lied about that in your visa, residency and citizenship application.
Nearly all the people who have had citizenship revoked are people like Nazi Prison Guards, or Drug Dealers.
If these globalist cut back on free speech on an international order, you going to see a real stampede for our borders. These elites never learn.
Well Trump will stop that!
What a ludicrously stupid statement. That’s rich even for thus lame blog.
The globalists need to look at Trump as a model. Trump knows how to clamp down on free speech by threatening law firms, newspapers, broadcasters, social media companies, reporters, talk show hosts, comedians, as well as non citizens… and have his twit followers love it while at the same time claim to be for free speech. Genius.
Trump’s Attacks on Big Law, Universities, and the Media Have a Common Goal: Silence Dissent Against Authoritarian Rule
The New York Times’ Sunday, March 23 newspaper featured a lead story on how the 1,000-lawyer Big Law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, a Wall Street favorite, had caved to threats in a Presidential Action from Donald Trump, which would have banned lawyers at the firm from entering federal buildings; from reviewing classified documents for their clients by stripping them of security clearance; and effectively blacklisting the firm as a member of Donald Trump’s enemy list.
The Chair of Paul Weiss, Brad Karp, negotiated with Trump and got the order rescinded by agreeing to spend $40 million in pro bono work on projects amenable to Trump — along with other subservient concessions.

$50? $1000? How much did you get paid for this micro-post? Was it worth it? Will it be worth it in 20 years? You people are a joke, and we will treat you as such. You should thank your lucky stars that we maintain a society, in spite of your petulant behind, in which you can even do this. And believe me: you will be old one day too, and you will be glad we did all that we did. That you think this paid posting is no different than doing Door Dash (which you likely also do) says everything we need to know about you.
You, and all those ,like you, are pathetic children who may never grow up, but when sh*t hits the fan, you will be thanking us that your teeth aren’t falling out. Seriously: remember this, because it is your future. Not ours. And though we may tow the line and help you then, it is not because we wanted to. We are just better than you. You are a burden and a pox that we will just have to carry. And we will absolutely have the authority over you your parents failed to provide.

“Awful Reboot”: Snow White Bombs Box-Office
Revised and lowered estimates of a $45-55million opening weekend, Snow White even missed those estimates with a $43million domestic boxoffice sales.
Noted critics,
Film critic Sara Michelle Fetters from MovieFreak: “Though far from a dream come true, this Snow White isn’t without its enjoyable aspects. I watched it with a smile and a song, every bluddle-uddle-um-dum somehow injecting my heart with joy, often when I least expected.”
Film critic Justin Kim from Loud and Clear: “Because of how utterly incongruous its direction is, it just ends up being a very confusing experience no matter your expectations.”
Film critic Michael Ward from Should I See It: “There’s no dazzle. There’s no sense of wonder. No real sense of suspense or dramatic power. Everything is spoon fed to us through colors, visuals, dialogue, and music. There is no reason to think about any of this.”
Film critical Dough Walker from Channel Awesome: “A Disney film production with a Disney Channel script.”
Other critics:
The Guardian called Snow White an “exhaustingly awful reboot.”
Observer called it to be “toe-curlingly terrible.”
Rolling Stone critic David Fear said, “The movie does earn points as a bedtime story, however, because it will definitely put you to sleep.”
Kyle Smith at The Wall Street Journal wrote, “Gloss prevails over heart in nearly every scene, and plot beats feel contrived.”
The Boston Globe’s Odie Henderson said, “I had high hopes that ‘Snow White’ would make me happy. Instead, this dopey remake made me sleepy and grumpy.”
David A. Gross, who runs the FranchiseRe movie consulting firm, told Variety: “This isn’t a Disney juggernaut.”

Note, before opening the X link, I was expecting a deranged, white, youth of the 20ish range. Nope. Just what appears to be a deranged white boomer! If you have ever been to a Mardi Gras parade, it is a massive event, taking up, depending on the parade, city blocks to even miles of street with thousands and thousands of people in attendance. Unfortunately, the NOPD cannot have LEOs on every corner. It is just not logistically possible with all of the other LEOs needed through out the city. Too bad too. Would of been nice to see the NOPD in action taking this domestic terrorist down.
There are absolutely NO European values to it.
It is all “globalist” values and values of those OPPOSED to having any ‘white’ people around.
It is the “values” of those seeking total control and domination of all peoples.
Get real and tell the truth – sorry, forgot. Shills must always present what they are told to present.
Many pastors and doomsday prophets use St. John’s 10th horn as the end.
Dear Prof Turley,
Berlin, for those with a short memory, may not be the best place to espouse a New World Order with European values. Hitler’s Nazi Germany tried that in the 20th century and the result was a global 2nd World War following closely on the heels of the European 1st World War.
For a thousand years, it seems Europe has been the hotbed of global conflict and disorder .. . and I can find no compelling reason to support the new claim of “A New World Order With European Values”.
In fact, given the scope and scale of the war in Ukraine, I consider the US/Nato military alliance the be the greatest threat for the functional authority of a United Nations to resolve global conflicts short of war. A hard-won world-embracing organization cobbled together from the ashes of WWII.
Clearly, nation-state ‘sovereignty’ is not inviolable. There must be some give and take . .. just as one has to cut bait to catch some fish.
*A peaceful world order, then, can only be founded on an unshakeable belief in a common humanity.
.. . ‘A spiritual truth which all the human sciences confirm. Anthropology, physiology, psychology, recognize only one human species, albeit infinitely varied in the secondary aspects of life. Recognition of this truth requires abandonment of prejudice – prejudice of every kind – race, class, colour, creed, nation, sex, degree of material civilization, everything which enables people to consider themselves superior to others.’
OK, but then persons with high-functioning psychopathic personality disorder (HFPPD) must never be allowed to ascend to positions of authority. This has been a problem all along…the most ruthless, heartless types who can feign normalcy bubble up to the top. The most important task of enlightened humanism is to identify these HFPPDs as youth, and sideline them into harmless adult roles.
I think you’ve got the cart before the horse. There are no ‘HFPPD youth’.
*the recognition that human behavior is *learned* is critical to understanding human behavior.
” … Globalists gathered in Berlin to seek a new era based on European values … ”
European values ??? that’s a curious expression. Finding it hard to define.
Is it found in the: 1700s 1800s, 1900’s, The New Millennium.
Perhaps rephrase:
