U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla., is the latest Democratic politician to use rage rhetoric to rally voters despite an alarming increase in political violence on the left. Calling for an “uprising,” Wilson also lashed out at the Laken Riley Act.
Wilson was visiting the ICE Krome Detention Center in Miami and declared:
“So I’ve been giving out the phone numbers to the House of Representatives and to the Senate. It’s one number that number you call and you threaten it, and you say, this is wrong. This is not America. This is not what we stand for. We need a change. You have to do that. It’s going to take the people. We’ve done it.
We need the people. We needed an uprising where people are taking to the streets and the phones and writing letters. That’s what we need.”
She is not alone.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Cal.) said “We are here to fight back.” Sen. Cory Booker (D., NJ) called on citizens to “fight” and declared “We will rise up.”
Not to be outdone in the rage fest, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D., TX) yelled, “We are gonna be in your face, we are gonna be on your a–es, and we are going to make sure you understand what democracy looks like, and this ain’t it.”
Rep. LaMonica McIver (D., N.J.) added: “God d—it shut down the Senate!…WE ARE AT WAR!”
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., called for Democrats to fight “in the streets.”
In my recent book, I discuss the role of rage rhetoric in our politics extending back to the very beginning of the Republic. The danger is that it can give a license to some for political violence, including those who claim that they are now triggered by everything from candidates to cars.
Wilson also lashed out at the Laken Riley Act and complained that:
“The Laken Riley Act has caused an increase in detainees, and these are people who have… you could have been here forever… walking across the street, jaywalking, or shoplifting, they will detain you and bring you right here.”
First, the Laken Riley Act was enacted to increase such arrests. It does not cover jaywalking. The highly popular law allows the detention of illegal immigrants accused of theft-related crimes, assaulting a police officer, or a crime that results in death or serious bodily injury, including drunk driving. Twelve Democratic senators voted for the Act.
Inciting violence has potential consequences. Has she not considered that the other side will resist and fight back, and that there will be casualties?

The Democrats are making an empathetic appeal to their followers to entertain abortive ideation in person’s neighborhoods. As for tariffs, they are neither novel nor Green, previously enacted under our Obama, Biden et al, and our so-called trading “partners”. Unfortunately, the excess abortions and rapes committed by illegal aliens and the “burden” of evidence sequestered by Planned Parenthood et al are also not novel, but, in fact, a progressive condition under Diversity laws, particularly DEI (i.e. institutional, systemic racism, sexism, genderism, etc).

Currently, many serving in congress have really no idea about how government works. As well, they have no concept of politics as a profession. At best you could called them “talking point politicians.” Their governance concept is so black and white, they see only two solutions for each problem: We get what we want OR we go violent.
I blame it on these political day camps, where potential candidates are chosen based on loyalty and obedience, and then are trained how to run for office. How else could we have so many youngsters in congress marked by their abject stupidity?
Sounds like this congresswoman is calling for Democratic Jan 6. Surely that would be illegal and a desecration of the halls of congress. If that happens could we get to jail the perpetrators indefinitely with no bail and bring in Republicans Judges to hear all their cases. And then we need all the records of the use of their debit cards and credit cards and we would need a special prosecutor to search through her full political life and bring her up on charges for sedition and or insurrection. By isolating themselves and listening to themselves over the years, not to mention the media support they received, Democrats like Frederica Wilson, Corey Booker, and Maxine Waters have nothing else to inspire followers than their fiery rhetoric. But it amounts to nothing. There will be no civil war, no demonstrations, and no riots. Why? Because the followers of these imbeciles have left them for the conservatives, who at least talk with them about their day-to-day needs and aspirations. These people are tired of hate and how it destroys them. They are looking for a better country that can provide them with safe homes, jobs, and other benefits of democracy while protecting their civil rights and helping them acquire self-respect. It’s a simple plan, one that focuses on we-the-people, not we-the-blowhards, and it works every time. Ask anyone.
