“Have You Tried Gasoline?”: Democrats Admit Followers are Embracing Violent Rhetoric

“What we really need to do is be willing to get shot.” Those words to a Democratic member are part of a chilling Axios story on the rising violent rhetoric on the American left. As alleged Antifa members are arrested in Texas for the attempted murder of ICE agents, Democratic members are beginning to express private concerns over unleashing uncontrollable rage after their election defeat.

Axios reported on conversations with Democratic members who admit that followers are turning to violence and rejecting messages of political reform.

One House member explained that there is a “sense of fear and despair and anger” among voters that “puts us in a different position where … we can’t keep following norms of decorum.” The member does not address how Democratic leaders are fueling the rising violent rhetoric and imagery (including the most recent posted picture of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D., N.Y.) brandishing a baseball bat).

One House Democrat told Axios, “Some of them have suggested … what we really need to do is be willing to get shot.”

Yet another admitted that constituents have told them to prepare for “violence … to fight to protect our democracy.” Others reported that liberals are talking about the need “to storm the White House and stuff like that.”

One explained that “They’re angry beyond things.” Another said, “It’s like … the Roman coliseum. People just want more and more of this spectacle.”

Some are discussing triggering or staging violence. One member said, “What I have seen is a demand that we get ourselves arrested intentionally or allow ourselves to be victims of violence, and … a lot of times that’s coming from economically very secure white people.”

We have recently seen such performative acts with members like Sen. Alex Padilla (D., Cal.) heckling a press conference by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Democratic members storming an ICE facility.

In one encounter, a lawmaker told Axios: “I actually said in a meeting, ‘When they light a fire, my thought is to grab an extinguisher’. And someone at the table said, ‘Have you tried gasoline?'”

The answer is clearly yes.

Across the country, Democratic leaders are resorting to what I have called “rage rhetoric” in my book The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage.”

We have already seen violent protests and planned assassinations directed against Trump Administration figures.  Democrats ratcheted up claims of a “coup” and called for Democrats to “fight in the streets.”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D, Mass.) declared, “Elon Musk is seizing the power that belongs to the American people.” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D, Md.) claimed on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that Musk and Trump were conducting a “rapidly expanding and accelerating coup.”

Sen. Ron Wyden (D., Ore.) appeared to be working off the same talking point and declared that a “coup” was being carried out.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) warned that Musk was “taking away everything we have.”

Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Cal.) said, “We are here to fight back.” Sen. Cory Booker (D., NJ) called on citizens to “fight” and declared, “We will rise up.”

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D., TX) yelled, “We are gonna be in your face, we are gonna be on your a–es, and we are going to make sure you understand what democracy looks like, and this ain’t it.”

Rep. LaMonica McIver (D., N.J.) added: “God d—it shut down the Senate!…WE ARE AT WAR!”

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., called for Democrats to fight  “in the streets.””

Such rhetoric can inspire unhinged citizens who actually believe that this is a war against a coup. It is the type of rhetoric that can prompt anti-Republican Nicholas John Roske to try to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh or Sanders supporter James T. Hodgkinson to try to massacre Republican members playing softball.

This week, the Department of Justice announced the arrest of ten alleged Antifa members who are being charged in an ambush of ICE agents in Alvarado, Texas, on July 4.

Democratic members have long played a dangerous game in dismissing the violence or even the existence of groups like Antifa.

Despite the denial of its existence by figures like Rep. Jerry Nadler (D., N.Y.), I have long written and spoken about the threat of Antifa to free speech on our campuses and in our communities. This includes testimony before Congress on Antifa’s central role in the nationwide anti-free speech movement.

We have continued to follow the attacks and arrests of Antifa followers across the country, including attacks on journalists.

Nevertheless, former Democratic National Committee deputy chair Keith Ellison, now the Minnesota attorney general, once said Antifa would “strike fear in the heart” of Trump.

Ellison’s son, Minneapolis City Council member Jeremiah Ellison, declared his allegiance to Antifa in the heat of the protests this summer.

Liberal sites have sold Antifa items, including baby outfits, to celebrate the violent group.

Now, Democratic leaders are privately expressing alarm that their followers are demanding violence and rejecting moderate language.  Yet, many are fueling that rage and few of their colleagues are speaking out against them. The party is attempting to ride this wave of rage to victory. However, history shows that the enablers of the mob today often find themselves the enemies of the mob tomorrow.

  1. The root problem is that our our utter left-wing higher educational system breeds a sense of entitlement in the people who matriculate there. They feel they are a natural ruling class, an aristocracy. So, they can never legitimately lose an election. “Democracy” means using every dirty trick necessary to keep them in power.

  2. OT but apt, ‘Around Lia, I wasn’t going to risk anything’: UPenn swimmer breaks silence
“A former teammate of William “Lia” Thomas praised the University of Pennsylvania for agreeing to keep men out of women’s locker rooms following negotiations with the Trump administration.”

Hey, Democrats, keep up with the biological males in women’s sports, locker rooms, bath rooms and see how many conservative women voters you make! 🙂

  3. St. Augustine of Hippo wrote an excellent sermon that is applicable for today’s times, particularly the collapse of America. St. Augustine lived during the time of the Fall of the Roman Empire and wrote in his classic work, City of God his observations on why Rome fell. America has fallen for the same exact reason Rome fell.

Today’s Democrats are largely pagans. They sacrifice infants and developing babies, they castrate little boys and enable mastectomies of little girls, they groom children, target their parents with DOJ and FBI lawfare, they celebrate euthanasia, and cheer at the demise of the traditional family: one man + one woman. But Democrats are not alone. Americans allowed Democrats to lynch our nation’s institutions by abdicating marriage, the extended family, then the nuclear family, then raising children, then abandoning churches /synagogues with no shame, all the while providing a laundry list of reasons why they were in the right. Thus it doesn’t take a medical scientist to conclude that:

America has become a mostly pagan society.

Whatever the exact percentage is that pollsters quote re: the faith of Americans, their church attendance or their belief in God, all must be measured by behaviors. Faith without works is dead (James 2:14). The relationship of God towards His creation both in the Old Testament and New Testament are contractual. There exists an expectation to perform. St. Augustine provides some insight:

From a discourse on the psalms by Saint Augustine, bishop
    (Ps. 32,29: CCL 38, 272-273)

Whether they like it or not, those who are outside the Church are our brothers

We entreat you, brothers, as earnestly as we are able, to have charity, not only for one another, but also for those who are outside the Church. Of these some are still pagans, who have not yet made an act of faith in Christ. Others are separated, insofar as they are joined with us in professing faith in Christ, our head, but are yet divided from the unity of his body. My friends, we must grieve over these as over our brothers. Whether they like it or not, they are our brothers; and they will only cease to be so when they no longer say our Father.

The prophet refers to some men saying: When they say to you: You are not our brothers, you are to tell them: You are our brothers. Consider whom he intended by these words. Were they the pagans? Hardly; for nowhere either in Scripture or in our traditional manner of speaking do we find them called our brothers. Nor could it refer to the Jews, who did not believe in Christ. Read Saint Paul and you will see that when he speaks of “brothers,” without any qualification, he refers always to Christians. For example, he says: Why do you judge your brother or why do you despise your brother? And again: You perform iniquity and commit fraud, and this against your brothers.

Those then who tell us: You are not our brothers, are saying that we are pagans. That is why they want to baptize us again, claiming that we do not have what they can give. Hence their error of denying that we are their brothers. Why then did the prophet tell us: Say to them: You are our brothers? It is because we acknowledge in them that which we do not repeat. By not recognizing our baptism, they deny that we are their brothers; on the other hand, when we do not repeat their baptism but acknowledge it to be our own, we are saying to them: You are our brothers.

If they say, “Why do you seek us? What do you want of us?” we should reply: Your are our brothers. They may say, “Leave us alone. We have nothing to do with you.” But we have everything to do with you, for we are one in our belief in Christ; and so we should be in one body under one head.

And so, dear brothers, we entreat you on their behalf, in the name of the very source of our love, by whose milk we are nourished, and whose bread is our strength, in the name of Christ our Lord and his gentle love. For it is time now for us to show them great love and abundant compassion by praying to God for them. May he one day give them a clear mind to repent and to realize that they have nothing whatever to say against the truth; they have nothing now but the sickness of their hatred, and the stronger they think they are, the weaker they become. We entreat you then to pray for them, for they are weak, given to the wisdom of the flesh, to fleshly and carnal things, but yet they are our brothers. They celebrate the same sacraments as we, not indeed with us, but still the same. They respond with the same Amen, not with us, but still the same. And so pour out your hearts for them in prayer to God.

Mespo posted words from Abraham Lincoln’s First Inaugural Address. Lincoln had a belief in God, though imperfectly like most of us, he wrote about it often in his speeches and letters, and tried to lead others to a belief in God. In spite of his attempts, and many religious and non-religious leaders since the Civil War, America chose to pursue a different trajectory, just like the Roman Empire.

Americans did it their way. They turned on each other, turned on God, abandoned intellectual pursuits and timeless philosophical principles, pursued hedonism, and adopted geocentrism, placing themselves at the center of the universe. Galileo rejected geocentrism and instead argued for heliocentrism, that the earth revolves around the Sun. We, as God’s creation, revolve around God, the Center of universe.

The evidence since the mid-XX century points to the obvious conclusion: our ways were the wrong way. Not withstanding the braggadocio of atheists, who crow about the Age of Enlightenment or the Age of Reason, truly we have become a pitiful group of self-absorbed, self-destructive, ignorant people. The collapse of the American empire is assured. So now we have the Democrat House Minority Leader wielding a baseball bat as a message to Americans. This from a black man who complains often about Jim Crow laws and KKK lynching. There is truly a void in the cranium of these people.

Our trajectory can not be stopped. You can’t get 300+ million people to suddenly pause and do a 180 degree about face. In the words of St Augustine, we Christians belong to the City of God, and should live this life in preparation for the next. We would do well, with a sense of humility and urgency, to evangelize along the way.

    1. Estovir

More nonsensical self-contradictory ancient religious mumbo-jumbo from a religious zealot, looking backwards 2000 years with his back to the future,

You say , “America has become a mostly pagan society”.

Well, by your own admission, that places you firmly in a tiny minority of individuals with fringe views of the world.
In other words you are a member of a cult, howling pointlessly into the wind.
Who cares what you think, or what some nutcase from the 4th century thought.

Try living in the real world, instead of some ancient world of religious fanatics.
If you find America so odious, then why not leave.
By “leave” I mean take yourself to the “afterlife” that you are so looking forward to.
I’m sure you would be much more content there, rather than spending your life bemoaning the “mostly pagan society” that has to put up with your constant whining.

      1. ….said the demon, LEGION, one of MANY—let us go into the PIGS, and so you have. You are not only insolent, Pagan-Anon, you are foolishly and dangerously ignorant: you don’t know how all this ends.

    2. I believe you are correct in saying that the American empire cannot last, as we cannot seem to escape runaway debt, which kills empires. But that doesn’t mean the American nation cannot last much longer than the empire. We can look to Portugal, Spain, Holland, Britain, and Russia as example to see that empires sometimes collapse while leaving the nation viable for much longer.

Also, I’m sure you are aware that in the time of Elijah, when ancient Israel was apostate, God told the prophet, “I reserve seven thousand in Israel – all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him.” Earlier than that, God told Abraham he would have spared Sodom for the sake of ten righteous men. The United States still has a faithful remnant that God is pleased to use for his purposes. And as you often remind us, for the faithful it is still possible to live well even as the empire collapses.

      1. We can look to Portugal, Spain, Holland, Britain, and Russia as example to see that empires sometimes collapse while leaving the nation viable for much longer.

Portugal, Spain, Britain, Russia have collapsed as nations IMO. I’ve never been to Holland so I cant comment on them. Portugal, Spain and Britain are not places I would choose as an alternative to America. Russia – they’re sinking into meaninglessness.

re: Elijah and Sodom, yes, all noted OT texts. But as a non-fundamentalist, biblical texts must be interpreted in proper context. The story of Sodom itself in Genesis 18 has been distorted for centuries. The actual meaning of Sodom is found in the Old Testament, Ezekiel 16:49-50, and it has nothing to do with homosexuality. Here is the text:

d Now look at the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters were proud, sated with food, complacent in prosperity. They did not give any help to the poor and needy. Instead, they became arrogant and committed abominations before me; then, as you have seen, I removed them.

        https://bible.usccb.org/bible/ezekiel/16

The sin of those in Sodom was not homosexuality but rather lack of hospitality. IIRC several years ago you crucified me, screaming in all caps, that I was the very reason why people left the Christian faith because of my exegesis of the Bible. I never replied to you because ….it didn’t merit a response. So it is ironic you now reply to me on this same subject

None of us are immortal. Will God save America because of 10 holy people? I haven’t a clue what God will or will not do. He is the God of surprises, as Pope Francis and many Catholic Mystical Saints reminded us, e.g. St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta. However, going on world history, vis a vis the Roman Empire, all empires come to an end, and I believe the American Empire has as well. See the photo of Jeffries with a baseball bat. A thug’s thug, it reflects something out of the Roman Empire, a Roman Gladiator about to toss Christians to the lions in the Roman Colosseum, or an Aztec priest about to sacrifice a virgin to their gods or an Incan priest about to remove the heart of a Incan citizen to appease their gods. The comparisons of abortion and euthanasia to the Aztecs and Incans are legion.

It is absolutely possible to live well even as the empire collapses. However for Christians, “living well” is meant in terms of the City of God. See the example of St. Paul the Apostle, e.g. “for me to live is Christ, to die is gain”. St. Paul was crucified for his example. Did he live well on Earth? hardly. Is he living well today in the City of God, Christians believe so

So yes, live well, but live for Christ if you’re a Christian, but don’t expect any glory on this earth, esp with the likes of Jeffries and his terrorist thugs brandishing baseball bats

NB: I completely reject the Christian evangelical “prosperity gospel” mindset. But you likely already know that since I’m a product of a Jesuit education, not of Evangelical fundamentalism

        1. IIRC several years ago you crucified me, screaming in all caps, that I was the very reason why people left the Christian faith because of my exegesis of the Bible.

That must have been someone else. I would never do that, and have never done that to anyone. But I’m sorry someone did that to you.

I completely reject the Christian evangelical “prosperity gospel” mindset. But you likely already know that since I’m a product of a Jesuit education, not of Evangelical fundamentalism

I also reject it. FWIW, I’m Jewish.

          1. I apologize for confusing you with someone else. OTOH it didnt keep me from replying to you all these years. This is the internet. Passions often get the best of us and I am not exception

I knew you were Jewish because of your frequent Sabbath well wishes. It is a nice touch, so thanks for that

In the end, we should all be able to get along as civilized, moral, restrained people for the greater good. I can break bread with anybody including you, resident atheist or agnostic UpstateFarmer, even blowhard David Benson. Heck I visit a prison regularly alone as part of my Catholic parish prison ministry, and I truly enjoy spending time with the prisoners.

What Democrats have become is neither civilized nor moral. But we cant allow anyone to harm us, so it follows….

            1. Thanks, Estovir. And I’m glad it didn’t keep you from replying. The best part of this comment board is the ability to have a conversation, rather than to just post lone-ranger comments. Many blessings upon you and your ministry to the prisoners.

P.S. Although I’m Jewish I have also read and love the New Testament – a very Jewish book, by the way.

        2. . . . that I was the very reason why people left the Christian faith because of my exegesis of the Bible.

Also, it would never occur to me to say anything as ignorant as that. Again, I’m truly sorry there are such jerks as to spout garbage like that at you (and another example is right here in this comment section – ugh).

    3. *. By “works” you mean the things people do. The things you do are good or not, even the job you do for work matters.

As I understand it Estovir your name is written in the book of life from the foundation of the world.

What does this have to do with the Jewish people? Apply it.

    4. “. . . who crow about the Age of Enlightenment or the Age of Reason . . .”

Well, at least you’ve come out explicitly against the Age of Science — the age that gave us Bacon, Kepler, Newton, Galileo, Harvey. And against the age of political philosophy that gave us individualism, Locke, Adam Smith — and the Founders who created a nation based on that individualism.

The goal of your evangelism is a return to the barbaric age that came after the “City of God” — the Dark Ages.

      1. Well, at least you’ve come out explicitly against the Age of Science

Maybe you can help me Sam. Im doing final edits on a manuscript I wrote after a colleague reviewed it for constructive feedback. It is on the molecular mechanisms of atherosclerosis in the sterile and non-sterile setting with focus on HIV proteins in the HIV undetectable patient. We know that Pattern Recognition Receptors include Toll-like Receptors (TLRs). TLRs are a type I transmembrane protein comprised of an N-terminal ectodomain that senses the external environment of the cell membrane or the lumen of cellular organelles (e.g. endosomes, lysosomes, mitochondria). TLRs are decorated with leucine-rich repeats (LRRs) that recognize PAMPs and DAMPs, a middle single helix transmembrane domain, and a C-terminal domain cytoplasmic Toll/IL-1 receptor (TIR) domain that initiates downstream signaling (Bell, J.K., et al., 2003, Kawasaki, T. and Kawai, T., 2014). Published literature have assigned ligands to TLRs (e.g. LPS and TLR4) so as to identify their role in the immune response, even if the practice may appear too facile to reflect the chemical complexity and flexibility of LRRs motifs and the specificity they convey to TLRs (Sameer, A.S. and Nissar, S., 2021). LRRs possess a twisted horseshoe curvature reflecting a non-globular shape and a parallel Beta sheet, varying in 20–29 residues long., which contain a conserved 11-residue segment with the consensus sequence LxxLxLxxN /C xL where x can be any amino acid and L positions can also be occupied by valine, isoleucine and phenylalanine (Kobe, B. and Kajava, A.V., 2001).

LRRs possess small shifts that accumulate along their consensus sequence chain, resulting in changes of the curvature and the twist of the horseshoe. It is known that the non-globular shape allows an extensive binding area for a smaller protein ligand and thus the formation of many favorable contacts. Conversely, the solvent-exposed parallel Beta-sheet can be successfully used as a protein-binding motif whereas its surface is built almost entirely of well packed side chain residues. These residues confer interaction entropically less unfavorable and allows changes in specificity by modifying the surface through amino-acid substitutions.

So here is my question, Sam, since you clearly are a man of the Age of sciences, and have likely read everything written by the great Catholic theologian monk, scientist and Father of Genetics, Gregor Mendel:

Since LRRs provide a flexible platform that can adjust to requirements of a particular interaction similar to the conformational flexibility observed in antibodies where the variable domains can slightly change their relative orientation upon antigen binding, which curtain should you pick to win the Yellow Corvette Stingray? is it curtain #1, #2 or #3? Maybe Carol Merrill can help?

        1. “Maybe you can help me Sam.”

No. But I can certainly help with your deflection. (Your transparent attempt to impress others is between you and your therapist.)

You condemned those who are proud of the Enlightenment (“who *crow* about it). Not the first time you’ve done so.

The contradiction between your explicit ideology (mysticism) and what you do in practice (science) is the essence of your self-destruction.

          1. You should have picked curtain #3 instead of your delusions of grandeur against Estovir

  4. Jonathan: Following up on my previous comment (@11:04am) it is quite clear it is the DJT regime that is engaging in violence to implement its policies. Here are just a few examples:

    1. ICE RAIDS. The tactics used by ICE, particularly in LA, involve the use of violence against peaceful immigrants–dragging them out of their homes and workplaces, beating them, even blowing up entrances to homes. This is the use violence never seen in the history of immigration enforcement. Under the DJT regime it has now become commonplace.

    2. VIOLATING INTERNATIONAL LAW. The DJT regime is deporting immigrants to foreign countries with abysmal human rights records where cruel and unusual punishment is standard practice. Take the well known case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. He was sent to the notorious CECOT facility in El Salvador where prisoners are routinely abused. Abrego Garcia’s lawyers have just filled new documents in the case before Judge Xinis alleging their client, while in CECOT, was subjected to torture and other abuse. According to the filings the 29 yr old Salvadoran was subjected to “severe beatings and sleep deprivation, inadequate nutrition, and psychological torture”.

The UN Convention Against Torture (UNCAT), ratified by the US in 1988, prohibits the US from “sending any person to another State where there are substantial grounds for believing that the individual would be be in danger of being subjected to torture” (See US Dept. of State report in 2006). The DJT regime is in violation of UNCAT by sending Abrego Garcia and other immigrants to CECOT knowing they would be subject to cruel and inhumane treatment.

    3. SEANATOR ALEX PADILLA. On June 12th Senator Padilla attended a public press conference held by Kristi Noem in LA. When he tried to ask her a question Padilla was assaulted by her guards, dragged out of the room, thrown to the ground and handcuffed. That has never happened before to a sitting Senator.

These are just three examples of how the DJT regime has employed violence against immigrants and political enemies. There are many, many others. Didn’t see any of these Gestapo-like tactics during the 4 years of the Biden administration. It is only the DJT regime that has routinely employed violence against both peaceful immigrants and political opponents. But then you know that. You just don’t want to discuss it!

    1. Your rendition of the Alex Padilla incident is really quite laughable.
The other two things you mentioned have been discredited over and over again so I’ll skip those.

    2. It was all that strangling of young girls that soured people, Dennis. The people decided open borders, bad idea.

    3. VIOLATING INTERNATIONAL LAW.

Really. Care to post this law and it it used in the USA. LOL

    4. SENATOR ALEX PADILLA: His Kabuki theater performance was over the top and meant for the photo-op. 1) He was an unknown in the crowd, 1a) he could have, and should have!, requested a meeting or notified Noem/staff of his intent to attend her press conference, 2) Padilla was the assaulter, lunging at Noems’s podium (the one acting with violnece), and 3) when an unarmed woman is vulnerable, as in speaking opnely at a poduim, protective service MUST neutralize the unknown—
a “sitting senator” can and SHOULD act with more decorum: you’re right, his kind of uncouth behaviour has never happened before. SHAME on Padilla and those who defend his liberally rude, quesitonable and dangerous behavior toward a woman!

    5. Dennis (the menace): such hypocrisy!
Your theory, under “The UN Convention Against Torture (UNCAT…”), so lovingly rendered in favor of illegals, is what the Biden-Administration/Garland-DoJ did to J-6 prisoners, who were mercilessly raided, transported to the D.C. Gulag, and “subjected to torture,” right here, in the good ol’ USA—and you all LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT!

    **********************************
When people are itching for a fight, sometimes you just have to scratch them. The Left embarked on this path by refusing any dialogue. That leaves only an option they are ill-suited for in terms of expertise, resources. and character. However as always, History has a solution that went unheeded in 1861 as it might be today:

“In your hands, my dissatisfied fellow-countrymen, and not in mine, is the momentous issue of civil war. The Government will not assail you. You can have no conflict without being yourselves the aggressors. You have no oath registered in heaven to destroy the Government, while I shall have the most solemn one to “preserve, protect, and defend it.”

I am loath to close. We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.”

  8. I fail to see a damned remaining thing to compel me to support the modern DNC, ever, for anything, even the local PTA. Their stance on every aspect of life is contrary to human nature, human fairness, human thriving, and the rule of law as elucidated by our Constitution. They are basically thugs, at this point, but oh so much clumsier than the likes of Al Capone; and the likes of Nancy, Hillary, and Obama led the way and normalized that type of thinking among their followers. The ripping of the speech was their death knell for people that know better.

Make no mistake: the ten antifa clowns arrested for ambushing ICE think they are in the right, they really, really do (and sorry: nobody who isnt being funded has that kind of hardware). There is no place for the modern democratic party in, forget free, even simply *civilized* society. These are toddlers that have had their Pampers ripped off by real grownups. Hakeem might as well be yelling for hours on end for baby powder because his poor butt hurts too much at all of the reality. It is absurd, it is a disgrace to our system and its institutions, and i really don’t think it’s going to last, even if it is extraordinarily painful to get to the end, and it probably will be. I have resigned myself to this, and will not relent.

The party of post-natal abortion? That’s what is about to happen to our modern dems. I do not know who they think they are impressing among the actual thinking, compassionate, and moral anymore, and if they want feral – they are going to get it, just at their own expense, not at the expense of the rest of us that are not bloody clinically insane and are moving on.

    1. James – the party of open borders and, men playing in women’s sports and invading their locker rooms, defund the police, suppressing domestic energy production, communism, and so much more. . . . And then there’s the unmitigated arrogance of Sotomayor and Jackson. In the case over whether parents could opt their young children out of gay porn in public school, Sotomayor writes:

Public schools, this Court has said, are “at once the symbol of our democracy and the most pervasive means for promoting our common destiny.” … They offer to children of all faiths and backgrounds an education and an opportunity to practice living in our multicultural society. That experience is critical to our Nation’s civic vitality. Yet it will become a mere memory if children must be insulated from exposure to ideas and concepts that may conflict with their parents’ religious beliefs. Today’s ruling ushers in that new reality.

      Someone at The Federalist commented:

There are two problematic strains of thought here. First, the dissent envisions public schools, not parents, as the primary means by which children are formed. The opinion speaks as if schools, not families, are the fundamental way that children are introduced to society and taught how to be citizens. This view has become prevalent on the left today and has made its way all the way up to the Supreme Court. Second, Sotomayor unbelievably speaks as if her view is the traditional and accepted one. In Sotomayor’s world, states are the primary formers of children, and the idea that parents rather than schools may decide the ideas to which their children are exposed ushers in a “new reality.” Parents making these decisions, of course, does not usher in a new reality but restores the way in which societies have always functioned. Sotomayor’s rewriting of history acts as if parents being the primary caregivers, educators, and decision-makers for their children is a novelty rather than a natural reality.

      https://thefederalist.com/2025/07/07/supreme-court-ruling-is-a-greenlight-for-parents-who-want-to-take-back-public-education/

The concept that public schools are actually teaching stuff that helps kids function in society is ridiculous. To the contrary, kids’ minds and souls are absolutely being poisoned by public schools. I posted this earlier in response to lin, but it is worth a look here too:

      https://freebeacon.com/campus/quite-shocking-to-us-local-parents-fighting-cesspool-of-anti-semitism-in-philly-schools-say-josh-shapiros-office-stopped-meeting-with-them/

      1. James,
        Well said.
        OldManFromKS,
Thank you for bringing that to our attention. Both Justice Sotomayor’s response and the Federalist comment gave insight to the former’s thinking and analysis to the latter.

        1. Thanks Upstate. This concept from Sotomayor is particularly chilling:

if children must be insulated from exposure to ideas and concepts that may conflict with their parents’ religious beliefs.

IOW, we communists must be able to ride roughshod over something as small as religious beliefs, otherwise how are we going to establish totalitarian control? They literally make the government into their God.

        2. Upstate

The left thinks our kids are part of the state (government) Boy does this sound so much like Stalin.
We know better than you, so we shall force you to see it our way.
          Thanks Sotomayor………

      2. @oldmanfromkansas

Yes. I just can’t anymore. The modern left are a caricature and a threat all at once. This would be funny if it weren’t so serious. That cannot be said enough. I know some people still think there is some kind of balance and that elections will right themselves: there isn’t. Wake up.

        1. Supposed to be me, James. But really: whatever problems our rinos pose, it is small potatoes compared to the modern left. We can work out the details as we go along; these globalists must never have any power, even by proxy, in our country.

          1. James,
I was tracking you, no worries.
My fear is there is going to be some event, incident, accident that triggers outright violence reaction from a multitude of groups whom will take advantage of the chaos and commit acts of violence for their own cause. Could be the antifa group. The socialist group. The anti-Israel/pro-Hamas group. Anti-ICE group. Anti-Trump group. I would like to think these will be small groups, but as the good professor points out, the rage rhetoric feeds into a lot of people as noted in the Axios report. And the rest of us who want no part of the violence, may have to act just to defend ourselves at best and at worst pick a side in a real American civil war 2.0. That is something I do not want to see but I do fear could happen.
Just read an article that LA mayor Bass, confronted ICE and other federal agents at a park and demanded them to stop their LEO duties and leave. And they did. Those on the left are cheering this lawlessness on. The rest of us see it for what it is: Lawlessness.

            1. Just read an article that LA mayor Bass, confronted ICE and other federal agents at a park and demanded them to stop their LEO duties and leave. And they did.

Huh? That did not happen. At all. I mean yeah, they did leave eventually, they were never going to be entrenched there permanently, but they didn’t leave before finishing the job they came to do.

  9. Which is greater on the Left today: the demand for violence, or the demand for racism (which always exceeds its supply)?

  10. *. Some penny ante river floods and kills 100 people in flash flood alley and the US is so stupid and negligent engineers haven’t corrected that problem 50 years ago WHILE China just finished the 3 Gorges Dam and Italy engineered and China financed the dam of the Nile in Ethiopia and you say you’re great with this sub normal man with a baseball bat calling for violence FOR WHAT?

There’s nothing anyone can do with this PT. I’m beginning to think Mystal may be right. All to annihilate Israel…

    B of Seville

    1. Go away with your disgusting attempts at equivocation. You are a sick piece of trash.

      1. What are you talking about, anon? The US is no longer great and people need to see it. The world moved on and left you with some mentally deficient man holding a bat. What does he want? I have no earthly idea nor does he.

        1. You are a piece of trash. Don’t forget that. Have fun dancing on the bodies of dead girls, trying to prove your “point” whatever it might be. What is wrong with people like you? Get a sick thrill out of disparaging dead children?

          1. I wasn’t disparaging the tragic deaths of children I was telling you the deaths of those children didn’t have to happen but for extreme negligence and profound ignorance meaning see it for what it is, not greatness.

How many flash floods have there been and nothing done? What’s next, earthquakes with buildings reduced to rubble as in India? Oh, what about uncontrolled fires that killed 100s in Paradise or the ashes of LA?

I’m not going to lie to you. That area in Texas should not be in danger. Clean your forests. Insurance providers moved out of LA.

Trash? I don’t suffer fools gladly. How many will die in the next flood?

      1. Are you stoopid, too? 100 people died. Apparently you don’t understand how to fix that?

        1. Oh, I see trash boy has decided to respond. Are you done dancing on the bodies of dead children? You feel better now?

          You are trash. Disgusting troll.

        2. How to fix that: Listen to the NWS and the Texas Division of Emergency Management warnings that were issued on both Wednesday and Thursday, move to higher ground like one camp did or end their summer session like two other nearby camps did on Thursday. The day before the flood. That region has a long history of flash floods. The rainfall the storm produced was more than models predicted. Mother Nature bats last. And she usually wins.

          1. No no, Trash Boy has declared that the USA is now a third-world nation because they didn’t build a giant dam on a river that rarely is worthy of the name for an event that might happen every hundred years. I suppose that every stream, creek, and dried river bed in his glorious China has a monster dam worthy of their status as the leading nation of the world. If they don’t, I guess that they are “stoopid” or something. What a sick piece of trash.

        3. Again. Have even been to Texas? It’s known for low land flooding. The weather alert went out before the flood happened.

  11. The creation of the Muslim Brotherhood in the 1930s is basically the same recipe the dncccp is using to radicalize suburban moms and other stupid white people in the US today.

  12. Gunman ambushes Border Patrol agents days after House Dems reject resolution condemning anti-ICE violence
DHS reports 700% surge in assaults on ICE agents amid heightened political tensions

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gunman-ambushes-border-patrol-agents-days-after-house-dems-reject-resolution-condemning-anti-ice-violence

    Excerpt:

Just days before a gunman ambushed Border Patrol agents in McAllen, Texas, on Monday, congressional Democrats voted nearly uniformly against a resolution condemning the Los Angeles riots and the anti-ICE rhetoric that led to the tensions in June. Michigan resident Ryan Louis Mosqueda, 27, was allegedly armed with tactical gear and a rifle when he opened fire on Border Patrol agents as they arrived at a Border Patrol annex facility in McAllen, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley on Monday. The gunman was killed, but a McAllen police officer was shot in the leg, and a Border Patrol agent and a staffer were also hurt, according to the Department of Homeland Security. The department said all three are in “non-critical condition.” Law enforcement believes the attack was a purposeful ambush targeting Border Patrol officials, who play a different role than ICE but serve a major role in how the federal government enforces immigration and border policies.

    1. “DHS reports 700% surge in assaults on ICE agents amid heightened political tensions”

Kansas, I think that number is close to the increase in antisemitism. There is a correlation, but I don’t know how to put it into words.

      1. S. Meyer,
I think it is a mix of the two, both the anti-ICE and the anti-Israel/pro-Hamas groups that have increased the assaults on not just ICE agents but LEOs as a whole. I find it interesting that when there is a pro-Israel rally, you do not see those people assaulting LEOs. However, when there is a anti-Israel/pro-Hamas rally, there has been some degree of assaults on LEOs by those people. That is the kind of subsurface rage that concerns me.

        1. Upstate and Meyer: I also think they’re connected. There is a spirit of lawlessness abroad in the land. It is of a piece with the spirit of violence and the spirit of Jew-hatred. If followed back to their source, all three originate with the same spiritual entity. An entity that hates the Creator God and seeks to undermine him – as if that were possible – by attacking the things he creates and loves.

          1. OldManFromKS,
It it is the spirit of lawlessness in the land that you point out that is to me, ever so concerning. As I have stated more than a few times here on the good professor’s blog, I am not religious, I am spiritual in a very unorthodox like way. I do not oppose any religion as long as it respects other religions or thought. May we all live together in harmony.
However, this whole anti-Israel/pro-Hamas thing, that concerns me. So does the lawlessness of some Democrats and to a lesser extent the DNC as a whole, embrace that exact lawlessness in favor for illegal criminals. What kind of message are they sending to America as a whole?

            1. The anti-Israel/pro-Hamas thing revved up in response to October 7. Why should it rev up against the *victims* of that atrocity rather than the perpetrators? It’s like sharks getting a taste of blood: they go into a frenzy wanting more. It’s that spirit of lawlessness and violence. It’s also of a piece with a fourth demonic spirit that has become evident: the spirit of gender confusion, sexual grooming of children, and sexual mutilation of children. It is a spirit that comes from the pit of hell and is embraced by the left.

              1. Kansas, thanks for your excellent response.

A 700% rise in assaults on ICE agents. A matching surge in antisemitism. And that’s just two of the left’s growing hatreds. Law enforcement, Jewish identity, free speech, parental rights; it’s all in the same basket, rising like boats on the same tide. Different targets, same rage. And too many Democrats either cheer it on or stay quiet.

              2. “…sexual grooming of children…”

Would that include children groomed and abused by Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and their (list likely suppressed forever, if not outright destroyed) clients?

  13. “Some are discussing triggering or staging violence. One member said, “What I have seen is a demand that we get ourselves arrested intentionally or allow ourselves to be victims of violence, and … a lot of times that’s coming from economically very secure white people.”
Perhaps they need some professional advice in how to stage violence and hire Jussie Smollett?

The Axios article mentions white, college-educated suburbanites and urban liberals are many of the ones calling to throw out decorum and even the rule of law. What are these people thinking?

    1. “Get up on old Paint, and get the —- where you ain’t!”

    2. *. What are they thinking about? About annihilation of Israel. The US is Israel’s only friend.

  14. OT, is it possible to shrug one’s eyebrows? I’ve heard of raising one’s eyebrows, but shrugging them?

I kind of think not. So in the phrase, “shrug your shoulders,” isn’t the shoulders part redundant? I say: drop the shoulders.

  15. JT: “However, history shows that the enablers of the mob today often find themselves the enemies of the mob tomorrow.”

Was Annie talking about killer-and-victim Democrats?
    Which role wins more votes?

      1. Upstate Farmer: Ha! Someday, we’ll all meet and get together at some central state/national park and do the campfire reminiscing bit, laughing at all our old comments here! (rough weather coming your way tonite?)

        1. Lin,
Yeah, I made the suggestion in the past about a Turley get together at Shenandoah National Park outside of DC for a weekend camp out, hike and discussion. I used to hike and camp there a lot. I can bring the cast iron cookware and Tripod!
Nope on the weather. Looks like the remains of TS Chantal is sticking to the coastal area.

  16. Defense Minister Says Israel Plans to Concentrate All Gaza’s Population in ‘Humanitarian’ Zone Built on Rafah’s Ruins

    https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2025-07-07/ty-article/.premium/defense-minister-israel-to-concentrate-all-gaza-population-in-rafah-humanitarian-zone/00000197-e56a-d1ad-ab97-e5ef764e0000

    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c8rp31lk7mzo

    Hmmmm !!!!
    “Concentrate” you say ?????
“in a camp” you say ?????
“that no one will be allowed to leave” you say ????
“they will be humanitarian camps” you say ?????

I seem to recall that something like that happened about 80 years ago in Europe.
If my recollection is correct I think it was the Jews who were “concentrated” into special “camps” for their own protection.

      1. Apparently that’s all the rage now.
Put inconvenient people together in extremely dangerous, crowded conditions because why now?
Oh yeah. Someone doesn’t like them.

        1. All the best countries in the world have camps now.
North Korea, China, Russia, Israel and USA.
Its the list to be on

              1. please elaborate on this “plan” and the site from which you cited this insanity?

                1. There is no plan. Apparently there’s no limit to the gullibility of this moron.

              2. Maybe the Pals should stop trying to kill the Jews. Or is that to much to ask.

It’s odd why you forget that part.

        2. Anon – 1:31PM – Be sure to leave your home’s front door propped-open 24 hours a day for 4 years, and see who decides to “move in” against your wishes. Be a good democrat and encourage others to follow your brilliant ideas …….. eventually FORCE everyone to accommodate 3rd-world criminals in their homes !!! It makes complete sense. “Inconvenient?” What a fool.

        3. “Someone doesn’t like them.”

I don’t know, but maybe, just maybe, it could be the whole “killing innocent Jews” thing that is the problem? Any chance of that?

        1. The Israelis must be planning on providing plenty of food and cooking facilities for the people in the camp.

Apparently they are building very large oversized ovens for their convenience.

          1. Damn are you tedious, and disgusting. You would be ashamed for using holocaust smears, if you were capable of shame.

            1. Dustoff
Apparently you don’t see the irony of Jews putting people in concentration camps.

              1. FDR put innocent Japanese-Americans in camps, nobody on the left complains about that.

      2. Anon 1:30 PM – Nothing says “invasion” like tens of millions of 3rd-world unskilled parasitic criminals, pouring through intensionally-open national borders.

        1. 10ffgrid

So we clearly need a “FINAL SOLUTION” to the problem.

Is that what you are saying ???

      3. Ano
        humanitarian you say.
Is it humanitarian when your neighbor tries to kill you day after day.

      4. Yeah, if only Egypt, Lebanon, or ANY other country in the region would take some of them in. Have you seen the Egyptian border wall? Trump is ENVIOUS. Why is Egypt so against taking in Palestinians, huh?

        1. Why not Jordan? The Fakeistinians by and large are Jordanians, so why won’t Jordan take in their own people? Oh wait, they did that, and the Fakeistinians proceeded to try to overthrow the government. Funny that.

        2. There’s proof in the US that wherever they go creates chaos. We have the lovely Omar and tlaib.

    1. Silly. Ridiculous. Stupid. That’s all the left has – brain-dead, stupid, silly, ridiculous comparisons. And Trump = Hitler, right?

    2. Haaretz is one of the things I still admire about Israel’s dedication to honesty and transparency.

What goes around comes around, I guess .. . and Karma’s a bit*h, to say the least.

*update: Bibi Netanyahu has just nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

      1. Haaretz, the communist rag? Yeah, figures you’d like that. You do know that the whole kerfuffle here was invented by your friends in the Soviet Union? Just more numbers to add to the communist body count.

        1. Haaretz is an Israeli newspaper .. . and the ‘Soviet Union’ dissolved over 35 years ago.

*the Russian Federation emerged from its ashes.

          1. In case you weren’t aware, there is this thing called the “past” where events already occurred. And in this “past” it was the Soviet Union that invented the fake “Palestinian” movement.

In case you weren’t aware, “rag” is a derogatory term used for garbage newspapers, like Haaretz. And Haaretz is still a non-credible communist rag.

        1. I wish that someone would finally tell us what Barry Soetoro did to earn a peace prize, other than presidenting while black. All three of his failed terms left the world in a more dangerous place, especially his third illegal term.

          1. Plus. Look what O-dumber did to Libya. Yes boys & girls our so called smart black prez turned Libya into a black slave trading country.

      2. Everyone clearly understands your affinity for Haaretz. It is leftist and distorts the news. I am sure you will be at home with the news media in China, North Korea, and Iran. I read some of their media as well but know enough not to believe it.

    3. Haaretz used a bit of their journalistic phrasing to say more than what the Minister actually said.
Here is the quote in Hebrew:

“שר הביטחון ישראל כץ אמר היום (שני) בשיחה עם כתבים כי הורה לצה”ל להכין תוכנית להקמת ‘עיר הומניטרית’ על חורבות רפיח…”
That translation does not say Gazans will be confined or forbidden to leave. Yet Haaretz and others stretch that into a claim of internment or worse.

Let’s stick to the truth. The same people who falsely called Gaza a concentration camp for years are now trying to expand that slander. Gaza has never been a concentration camp. It was ruled by Hamas for nearly two decades. Israel controlled its own borders for obvious reasons because Gaza became a launching ground for rockets, infiltration tunnels, and murder. Egypt, facing the same threat, sealed its border as well.

While many Gazans are victims of their leadership, polling has shown that a clear majority support Hamas goals, including the destruction of Israel. Even after October 7, surveys showed that around 75% of Gazans supported the attack. So yes, some good and innocent people remain, but they are not the majority.

Egypt won’t take them. Jordan, whose people are most similar ethnically, once expelled the Palestinians with military force. And the rest of the world? Silent. The truth is simple: Israel would allow every Gazan to leave permanently if any country were willing to take them. But no one is. It is not Israel that keeps them trapped. It is the world that slammed the door.

Most Gazans may not like Hamas rule, but they haven’t overthrown it, and they continue to fund it and educate children in hate. Israel is doing what every country would do, destroying a terrorist force that attacked civilians in the most brutal way imaginable. And unlike any other nation, Israel drops leaflets, makes phone calls, and gives warnings before striking, even when Hamas hides behind human shields.

What Israel is doing is not unusual. What is unusual is how far Israel goes to protect civilians while fighting a genocidal enemy. Israel should be applauded, not condemned. Meanwhile, the world ignores the real concentration camps, run by regimes like North Korea or Iran, and instead attacks the only democracy in the Middle East for defending itself.

      1. S. Meyer,
Thank you for that analysis and clarification of the situation. Sadly, this is a conflict that has been going on for thousands and thousands of years and likely will continue for another thousand. I have two cookbooks, one an Israeli Shuk cookbook and one a Lebanon Souks cookbook. The pictures are beautiful. I only wished there was a ever lasting peace for everyone to enjoy the region and the food.

        1. Thank you, Upstate, for your ability to point out the truth, and daily, making sure things are set straight on this blog.

          1. S. Meyer

Nice try at obfuscation and deflection, claiming that Gazans will not be confined or forbidden to leave.

Here is the Times of Israel reporting on the announcement by Defense Minister Katz.
            https://www.timesofisrael.com/katz-calls-for-confining-all-gazans-in-humanitarian-city-built-over-rafahs-ruins/

“Defense Minister Israel Katz told reporters in a Monday briefing that he had instructed the Israel Defense Forces and his ministry to bring forward a plan to establish a new “humanitarian city” in the southern Gaza Strip, on the ruins of Rafah.

The idea of the zone, according to Katz, is to accommodate initially some 600,000 Palestinians who have been living in the Mawasi area on the coast since they were displaced from elsewhere in the Strip, after screening them to ensure Hamas operatives are not among them.

Palestinians will not be allowed to leave the zone, he said.'”

PALESTINIANS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE ZONE !!!!

            At least you tried.

There is no getting around the undeniable fact that Israel is creating a concentration camp.

            לעולם אל תשכח, לעולם לא
            Never Forget, Never Again

            1. Who cares. Maybe if the Fakeistinians savages would stop trying to kill all their neighbors, somebody would give a crap about them. The Fakeistinians have outlived their usefulness.

              1. “There is no getting around the undeniable fact that Israel is creating a concentration camp.”

You jumped straight from a military press briefing to Holocaust comparisons without asking a single serious question. That’s not analysis, it’s propaganda of the kind Nazi Goering mastered.

Katz said people wouldn’t be allowed to leave (intentionally distorted by you), but he never said it was permanent. Israel is conducting active screening and relocation, legal under international wartime protocols, especially when the enemy, Hamas, hides behind civilians and launches terror from homes, schools, and mosques.

Israel is moving civilians away from the combat zones to protect them. You call that a concentration camp? That’s not just wrong, it’s morally disgraceful.

Stop abusing “Never Again” to slander Jews defending themselves after a massacre. With propaganda like this, you sound no better than the Nazis or the terrorists you’re covering for.

Apparently, you think schools are concentration camps too. Children can’t leave without permission, especially those your age..

                1. S. Meyer

“Katz said people wouldn’t be allowed to leave” as you say.
Then you say that Katz DID NOT say it was permanent.
You then presume that Katz really meant to say that the internment in the camp would not be permanent.
You are simply assuming something that was not said. You have absolutely no evidence that Katz meant to say this.
You seem to think that if he does not explicitly say something, then you are perfectly free to implicitly decide what he really meant.
YOU ARE SIMPLY MAKING SH!T UP !!!!!

You are living in an entirely fact free fantasy world, where you believe that any thoughts you have must be true.
You are showing signs of psychotic thinking.
You say that Katz’s statement that “people would not be allowed to leave” was intentionally distorted by me. It is a verbatim quote. If you have evidence that Katz said it would not be permanent then quote it.
                  You are profoundly mentally ill.

You say, “Israel is moving civilians away from the combat zones to protect them”
                  Really ????
That is exactly what the Nazis said as they rounded up the Jews.
They went so far as to describe Theresienstadt as a residential community, where elderly or disabled German and Austrian Jews could “retire” and live out their lives in peace and safety.
They told Jews that they were being “resettled” for their own safety, and would be provided with medical care and vocational training.
The Israelis are doing EXACTLY what the Nazis did, and you are complicit in the propaganda that this is being done for the “safety” of the Palestinians.

You are no better than the Nazis.
As someone with Jewish heritage, I find your support for this genocidal action by Israel to be abhorrent beyond comprehension.

                  לעולם אל תשכח, לעולם לא
                  Never Forget, Never Again

                  1. You’ve moved past argument into emotional frenzy, and crossed the line into historical and moral indecency.

Yes, Katz said, people would not be allowed to leave. That is a security measure during active war, legal under the Geneva Conventions, when screening for combatants. What he did not say was that this condition was permanent. If you think every omission is evidence of intent, then you’re not reading, you’re projecting.

Quoting Katz verbatim isn’t the issue. The distortion is in how you present it, as part of a Nazi-style genocide. That comparison is obscene. You invoke the concentration camps as if Gaza is a death factory, but ignore the fact that Hamas started this war with mass rape, child murder, and hostage-taking. You ignore that Israel dropped leaflets, made phone calls, opened evacuation corridors, and even risked soldiers to warn civilians.

                    That’s not genocide. That’s restraint.

Calling a battlefield relocation effort “genocidal” is not just ignorant, it’s slanderous. It insults real victims of genocide and protects the current perpetrators of terrorism by confusing the world about who the aggressor is.

Your rage doesn’t make your fantasy real. It just shows how far removed from reality you’ve fallen. You don’t speak for Jewish memory, you trample on it to justify hating Jews for defending themselves.
Never forget? I agree. But start by remembering who butchered Israeli civilians on October 7. That’s who you’re defending.

      2. Who was entirely in charge of Gaza before 7 October 2023? It’s so strange that nobody on the left seems to care about that. I’m continually amazed how anyone can look upon Hamas with anything other than disgust.

    4. *. Hey, I have an idea. Anon, just let the radical Islamic people destroy Israel. That’d work huh? Peace achieved, huh?

Israel and Jewish people worldwide should be declared endangered. If you touch or kill a Jewish person immediate attention with prison
It’s like the bald eagle was once endangered.

  17. Proclamation 80—Calling Forth the Militia and Convening an Extra Session of Congress

“On April 15, 1861,…President Abraham Lincoln issued a proclamation calling forth the state militias, to the sum of 75,000 troops, in order to suppress the rebellion. He appealed ‘to all loyal citizens to favor, facilitate, and aid this effort to maintain the honor, the integrity, and the existence of our National Union.’”

    Proclamation 92—Warning to Rebel Sympathizers

“[On] July 17, 1862,…I, Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States, do hereby proclaim to and warn all persons within the contemplation of said sixth section to cease participating in, aiding, countenancing, or abetting the existing rebellion or any rebellion against the Government of the United States and to return to their proper allegiance to the United States on pain of the forfeitures and seizures as within and by said sixth section provided.”

Abraham Lincoln was a Great American President.

Now President Donald J. Trump MUST implement his rendition of “The Lincoln Era,” close the border, rescind rebel sanctuary cities, compassionately repatriate all illegal and unassimilable aliens, revoke unconstitutional birthright citizenship, make English the sole official language, commence a war to defeat the rebellion, impose martial law, suspend habeas corpus, “smash” rebel printing presses, networks, podcasts, and social media platforms, and imprison political opponents and rebel judges, all in order to save, not the Union, but the Nation, eradicate the communist American welfare state, and place America squarely back on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, including absolute freedom, free enterprise, free industries, free markets, private property, and minimal taxation and regulation, alongside infinitesimal constitutional government.

    Thank you, Abe.
