Since his arrival at the struggling newspaper, Washington Post publisher and CEO Will Lewis has fought to reverse the plunge in revenue and readership to save this great American newspaper. His greatest challenge has been the staff itself, which seems willing to embrace bankruptcy rather than give up its bias. This week, Lewis sent another warning to his intransigent staff: get on board or get out.
I have written about Lewis’s fight to save the Post from itself over the years. Many writers and editors seemed to believe that owner Jeff Bezos would run the newspaper as a type of vanity project, bankrolling the operation as readers leave en masse.
They were wrong. Bezos seems to believe that the Post should write for people other than themselves and even make a profit.
Lewis, a former British media executive, reportedly got into a “heated exchange” with a staffer. Lewis explained that, while reporters were protesting measures to expand readership, the very survival of the paper was now at stake:
“We are going to turn this thing around, but let’s not sugarcoat it. It needs turning around. We are losing large amounts of money. Your audience has halved in recent years. People are not reading your stuff. Right. I can’t sugarcoat it anymore.”
The response was fury from the staff, which called for Lewis and other new editors to be scrapped.
Some staffers could not get past the gender and race of those who would oversee them. One staffer complained, “We now have four White men running three newsrooms.” The Post has been buying out staff to avoid mass layoffs, but reporters are up in arms over the effort to turn the newspaper around.
Bezos wants the Post to be a viable newspaper again and some of us who once wrote for the Post applauded his efforts. However, writers who have contributed to the free fall of the Post were apoplectic.
Amanda Katz, who resigned from the Post’s opinion team at the end of 2024, offered a vivid example of the culture that Bezos is trying to change at the Post. Katz said the change was “an absolute abandonment of the principles of accountability of the powerful, justice, democracy, human rights, and accurate information that previously animated the section in favor of a white male billionaire’s self-interested agenda.”
The most telling condemnation came from Post columnist Philip Bump, who wrote “what the actual f**k.” Not surprisingly, Bump wrote the condemnation on Bluesky, a site that promises a type of safe space for liberals who do not want to be triggered by opposing views.
Bump previously had a meltdown in an interview when confronted about past false claims. After I wrote a column about the litany of such false claims, the Post surprised many of us by issuing a statement that it stood by all of Bump’s reporting, including false columns on the Lafayette Park protests, Hunter Biden’s laptop, and other stories. That was long after other media debunked the claims, but the Post stood by the false reporting.
We have previously discussed the sharp change in culture at the Post, which became an outlet that pushed anti-free speech views and embraced advocacy journalism. The result was that many moderates and conservatives stopped reading the newspaper.
Lewis is still laboring to return the Post to objective journalism. He is even using the language of the left in encouraging them to “reinvent” or “reimagine” the Post. He discussed the Post’s “reinvention journey” it has taken in recent months, including its “reimagining” of its opinion pages that “champion American values” among other company initiatives.
“The moment demands that we continue to rethink all aspects of our organization and business to maximize our impact. If we want to reconnect with our audience and continue to defend democracy, more changes at The Post will be necessary. And to succeed, we need to be united as a team with a strong belief and passion in where we are heading.
I understand and respect, however, that our chosen path is not for everyone,. That’s exactly why we introduced the voluntary separation program. As we continue in this new direction, I want to ask those who do not feel aligned with the company’s plan to reflect on that. The VSP is designed to support you in making this decision, give you the ability to weigh your options thoughtfully and with less concern about financial consequences. And if you think that it’s time to move on to a new chapter, the VSP helps you take that next step with more security.”
In other words, please leave now.
In some ways, Bezos and Lewis have faced the same challenge as executives at other companies, from Facebook to X, in changing a culture. You cannot do it with a staff created for an entirely different purpose. The Post has spent years advancing advocacy journalism over objectivity, promulgating false claims, and feeding the echo chamber on the left.
One of the reasons that X was able to make such a rapid turnaround is that Musk got rid of much of the staff. Facebook has also been pushing for massive staff reductions and changes. The problem at the Post is not the ship, it is the crew.
Many of us are rooting for Lewis in seeking to right this ship. We need the Washington Post back as a leading newspaper committed to traditional journalism.

I opened a restaurant. We offered shit sandwiches. Sales were not very good.
I opened a restaurant serving shinola sandwiches. They didn’t know the difference. Sales were not very good.

The Covid Prosecution
In January 2023, the Biden DOJ announced this indictment against Dr. Kirk Moore:
He and other “defendants allegedly destroyed at least $28,028.50 worth of government-provided COVID-19 vaccines, and distributed at least 1,937 doses’ worth of fraudulently completed vaccination record cards to others in exchange for either direct cash payments or required “donations” to a specified charitable organization, without administering a COVID-19 vaccine to the card recipient. As charged in court documents, defendants also administered saline shots to minors – at the request of their parents – so children would think they were receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.”
Three days ago, AG Bondi made this announcement:
“At my direction @TheJusticeDept has dismissed charges against Dr. Kirk Moore.
“Dr. Moore gave his patients a choice when the federal government refused to do so. He did not deserve the years in prison he was facing. It ends today.”
“TOO BIG TO TELL”
Epstein was part of a massive wealth and intel network that may have included a search for influence, power, physics, finance, sexual perversion, and more among the elite throughout the Western world.
The Epstein affair is not dissimilar to the JFK assassination. People from politics, government, the military, intelligence, industry, financial concerns, the Mob et al. were involved, and their names still have not been formally revealed in totality by the American government—names such as Allen Dulles, J. Edgar Hoover, Carlos Marcello, Lyndon Johnson, Earl Warren, H.L. Hunt, Clint Murchison Sr., John A. McCone, and vastly more.
There is no shortage of classified information in Washington D.C.; some that no one will ever see.
Nah, it might all be bunk in fact. It’s racism. All white guys and rich.
Done
*. It’s brain pollution. How the heck would anyone know what billionaires do or why.
Terrible story. I’m from a world where porn was hidden. Prostitutes were creatures of Homer’s odyssey as the sirens called out …
Meanwhile in other news, Senator John Kennedy from LA (that’s Louisiana, not Los Angeles), told FOX News that James Comey and John Brennan have contributed to America’s violent culture re: assassination attempts of President Donald Trump. Apparently he likes McDonald’s fries salted too.
😂
We have a number of people in America … they’re crazy. I mean, they take politics so seriously that if you if you disagree with them, you’re not just wrong. Uh you’re in error, you’re a bad person.
I really regret that we live in a climate like we live in. But I can tell you two people who contributed to that climate. You’ve already mentioned their names. James Comey and Mr. Brennan.
Well, I know Mr. Comey and I know Mr. Brennan. Neither one of them, in my opinion, should attempt more than six of the Ten Commandments. They’re not very nice people. They’re not ethical people. I know people who have worked with them closely. And if you talk to people who’ve worked with them closely, those people will tell you that um they’re about as as popular as male pattern baldness.
What’s scary about both of them is that they think that they’re competent. They’re not. I I would I would hire the guy who salts the fries at McDonald’s before I would hire either one of them..They think they’re smarter and more virtuous than the rest of us.

re: Epstein, Maxwell and “the list”….
Shipwreckedcrew
@shipwreckedcrew
Flight logs have been public and available for a long time.
That’s not the “client list” people think exists.
There is a belief that Epstein and Maxwell kept a written list of individuals who had an appetite for having sex with underage girls.
There has never been — to my knowledge — actual evidence that any such list has ever existed.
What I think people really want — whether they realize it or not — is a law enforcement generated list of names of people who visited the Island and about whom there is a SUSPICION that they went there to have sex with underage girls.
The want the public listing of the names of famous/rich people who visited the island or rode on his place, so the INFERENCE can be made that those people did so only to have sex with underage girls.

@shipwreckedcrew
Your points are exactly why DOJ does not list the names of persons not charged.
What does releasing a “client list” prove other than the fact that it is a list of names.
Who says they were “clients.”
What if a DOJ investigation has been done and they were cleared — take them off the “list”.
Now you altering it — but how can DOJ leave an innocent person on the list.
We don’t subject people to mob justice when the legal system finds an insufficient basis to charge them.
Same hypo I’ve posed to others — let’s assume you are involved in some kind of criminal activity.
What would the list of contacts on your smart phone prove about your crimes or their involvement?

“There is a belief that Epstein and Maxwell kept a written list of individuals who had an appetite for having sex with underage girls. There has never been — to my knowledge — actual evidence that any such list has ever existed.”
Has there ever been any hard evidence produced of such a list? AFAIK you are correct, there has not, at least not accessible to the public. However, there has also been a lot of plausible, seemingly well-informed, speculation that Epstein was acting as an agent for the CIA, Mossad, or both, and that one of his duties in that service was to create incriminating evidence that could be used to blackmail his wealthy and/or influential clients to do what his handlers wanted them to do. If that speculation is true, Epstein would have needed to maintain some hard evidence of his clients’ misbehavior. Could some mere Epstein claim that a client sexually abused a child that could not be substantially corroborated beyond his word have yielded a few payoffs from those billionaires and oligarchs? Possibly, but it would have been more likely to have resulted in his (and Maxwell’s) snuffing long before any arrests were made. For the alleged blackmail scheme to function, Epstein (or his handlers) would have required some kind of verifiable, documentary, incriminating evidence. Whether or not that evidence is in the form of what most of us would describe as a “list” is unimportant, and any post harping on that single point of contention is nothing but a distraction (was that your intent?) The more important questions are whether or not that documentary evidence (still) exists, who has it, and why it has not yet been produced.
a lot of plausible, seemingly well-informed, speculation that Epstein was acting as an agent for the CIA, Mossad, or both…
absolute bull sh*t
troll harder
How did Robert Maxwell, Giselle Maxwell’s father and former CIA and Mossad operative, obtain permission to be buried on the Mount of Olives without “strong connections” to Israel?
I dont know, how did they?
Please share with us your evidences?
*
Robert Maxwell is was Jewish. His real name is Jan Hoch. He immigrated to the UK. He was a billionaire publisher and no doubt donated millions to Israel.
*. Bondi was looking for co-conspirators and not patrons. Those co-conspirators could be MI6 , CIA. Maxwell will possibly throw chum to the sharks with famous clients of her choosing. It may be fictitious, too, unless there’s additional hard evidence but juries, judges will award civil sums of 100s of millions of dollars. The conspiracy may just be the prostitutes.
I’m concerned about trafficked girls without escape. Otherwise it’s truckstop crime and at any stop chosen. Pay up. E Jean Carroll’s recount netted 80 million? I wouldn’t touch it.
*. That’s what bothers me. Basically this crime happens everyday at truck stops and no hue and cry . So what’s different here? The difference is fame a fortune. People want the rich punished and put on public display with humiliation. If a trucker were arrested there’d be no demand to publish his front page picture
It irks me as hypocrisy.
*. The evidence gathered by the FBI were photos of the underage females indicating Maxwell and Epstein were pervs. The victims reached settlements with the Epstein estate and others with Maxwell in addition. The single pay out by Andrew of 16 million was for a celebrity photo.
Robert Maxwell may be different story being a British billionaire publisher regarding MI6. That of course is impossible to verify. There wasn’t blackmail evidence gathered by the FBI.
*. This calls into question the concept of public information, sealed and unsealed. It’s an actual outrage that any name possibly could be associated with perv Epstein because he invested and managed money, or caught a ride or went to a wedding party on the island or was a school dean seeking donations or any other reason can be released to a scandal hungry mob.
There must be rules and laws? People trade on their good reputations and this would be property harm.
*. There is FOIA and the Privacy Act 1974. The federal government can be sued.
*. I’ve been poking around looking for information. In the 2005-2006 arrest an plea deal, the FBI had been tipped and worked undercover for over a year surveillance and infiltration used.
Approx 12 girls were identified and questioned leading to the arrest and final plea deal in 2006. It appears the 12 girls received settlements at some point from Epstein. The girls’ testimony was recorded.
It is unclear if the girls also identified other molesters at that time or if those molesters were charged and settlements dispersed. Because of FOIA and The Privacy Act 1974 the names, I presume, are not available from either side. Because some breaches of privacy were committed some or all of the victims filed a lawsuit against the FBI. The Privacy Act allows lawsuits.
How this mixes in is unknown to me. The same may hold true for the molesters I presume. Epstein was a registered sex offender as of 2006 as part of the deal. Parents can check the sex offender registry.
Fast forward to Epstein’s re-arrest 2019, mix in the most vocal Guifree settlements and Epstein’s death brings us here. I would think the identified molesters were part of “the list” being sought. Keep in mind Guifree accused Epstein and Andrew Windsor Mountbatten Hapsburg Whatever and reached settlements.
A third accusation made yielded an admission of I may have made a mistake by Guifree nullifies all testimony and accusations without further evidence such as the nude photos and videos of the girls found in Epstein’s homes. The list must be the identified 2006 molesters by interview. Testimony accusing molesters must have supporting evidence and must be true without error for the set of accusers and true at all times and everywhere to avoid a reasonable doubt. Any error such as
Guifree’s is reasonable doubt. Add any public knowledge of identities after the fact adds to doubt.
A list of accusations is worthless except as scandal if no other persons were criminally charged as were Maxwell and Epstein. The victims are free to file for civil reparation with caution to the privacy act. Surprising Dershowitz didn’t ask for reparations.
That’s my logic.
*. That’s correct. Ghislaine Maxwell is about to give the list of patrons. Sex crimes of 15-17 year old girls living in luxury while it’s legal for men to marry men.
Kill me now, please.
*. So Epstein and Maxwell ran a brothel? The girls were underage. Does this classify as sex with a minor? It’s truckstop crime? Statutory crime? What’s the timeline on criminal charges? Prince Andrew behind bars, Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, Obama all behind bars? Or maybe president macron and we all understand that one.
Truckstop island.
*. Sex with underage people is prosecuted as rape. The accused if found guilty will do jail or prison time with fine and then civil prosecution by the victim.
These are sex crimes and they have bad karma. Karma is deeds done that affect a person’s afterlife. What to do? Never do it again, change your name, move to another country and hide.
Apparently the ghost of Epstein appeared to Maxwell and said, avenge me.
*. Epstein didn’t have a brothel in southeast Asia did he?
*. His financier’s list included only billionaires +. Minimum 1 billion.
If elected officials aren’t involved or agencies of the federal government, or State officials and agencies then it’s law enforcement’s call and Bondi said there is no involvement of such. The FBI had an interest because underage girls were transported. That has been prosecuted and the only co-conspirators are Epstein and Maxwell .
Public interest is done. That’s all. Truckstop clients and trailerpark trash are on their own. Virginia Guifree and Andrew duked it out. He lost.
What are you gawking at? Does your neck ache? Andrew was a civil case most likely police couldn’t charge him criminally for lack of evidence.
Thank you AG Bondi
*. Begin by teaching your children what a sex crime is. If there’s no other moral standard then use the penal code. Teach them to report it.
Btw, the penal code differs by State. What a moral principle to use.
Anyway, Epstein and Guifree are dead now. Was this truly worth 2 suicides? Two death sentences imposed for this. Let’s not make it 3.
*. Epstein and Maxwell were sex traffickers under federal law. Minors are classified as victims and cannot be charged with prostitution. It’s a felony. State laws may reflect that. No movement to various locations must occur. Further the clients of the minor are considered as traffickers, not sure, and the minor prostitutes are classified as victims. It’s a felony.
Fir many any list of clients of the prostitute victims require federal prosecution. There is a question as to the reason Andrew was not criminally prosecuted. It was civil with 16 million to the victim. Federal is younger than 18 nationwide.
Many people want prosecution federally. Their may not be enough evidence for criminal prosecution.
In calif for people of age prostitution is classified as sex work. It is the chosen work. Those engaged in the work deny a moral standard. It remains a misdemeanor. If continued with rearrest it becomes a felony.
AG Bondi sees no identified clients with evidence therefore no prosecution.
That’s my take on it. Teach your children criminal, civil and moral law to prepare them. I actually wondered why the girls weren’t charged for prostitution and its because the law classifies the work and person as the victim.
Social reform , part of sociology, encompasses this. The movement toward lgbt and sex workers is part of social reform movement. There’s compromises in democracies they say. Basically the reform has no sex standards except those personally followed. Islam has brought polygamy and that too is incorporated as domestic inhabitants.
If you can’t compromise then leave the US or segregate by State. In other words if you truly hare hell find another nation.
Done with this.
Estovir, apply Karl Popper’s falsification principle in this case.
1996 Maria Farmer reports
2006 Epstein arrested
2008 NPA for federal charges
2019 Epstein arrested
2020 Epstein dies before trial
Deaths, Epstein, Guifree, Farmer brain tumor in treatment , Maxwell lawsuit ongoing, Dershowitz exonerated/ Epstein NPA attorney 2008
It looks like Eyes Wide Shut
*. Change it up- A man and his wife run a truck stop. The underage girls from the nearby trailer-park have an agreement to entertain the truckers. The police bust the owners as traffickers.
Not all truckers participated but frequented the stop because the chicken fried steak was good. A list of all truckers is generated and all are accused as traffickers of children.
Not all are guilty but it hits the newspapers as slander and libel. You see the problem?
Most of it is settled as pay out settlements by the Epstein estate. The children, now adults, have the published flight logs and some have celebrity photos. The scheme is completed as that photo alone is worth as much as 16 million dollars.
Some victims on both sides suffer irreparable damage.
*. Did you get the tag number of the truck that ran you over and caused you a head injury?
Some victims suffer more than others but especially anyone who reads your ******* comments
Was it a truck? The sticky wicket is none on the flight record tipped off law enforcement if they knew. That’s highly unlikely.
Get your buddies together and picket truck stops and taco trucks. They’re there, too, because I know you’ve been suffered a moral injury.
If Andrew is in fact innocent do you feel a moral injury that affects your sensitivity?
In fact, the underage females have suffered a moral injury as victims as have all children when abused. Today the media is a moral injury to all children as are classrooms. What is the reason this case is so very different? It’s so commonplace I’m surprised you’ve noticed. What’s your reason?
Right and all white and rich. Schadenfreude
*. I’ll say it. These are billionaires belonging to a class of investors. The “club” was 1 billion minimum. That created an elite club certainly. There all white. No blacks admitted, no black hookers. One could say it’s a racist club? Well, no justice no peace.
That’s all it is. Show me the money.
Federal age is 18 while States vary. The US wanted women to graduate high school. Drop it to 16 and graduate 16. Young people with aptitude can continue at JCs, colleges and universities. How about that.
Disgusting.

The US Constitution gives pardon power to the President (Article II, Section 2). It doesn’t say the President’s chief of staff has the ability to decide who gets pardoned. So . . . what to do when the POTUS is non compos mentis? Hmmm, I know, have the chief of staff approve the pardons, execute them by auto pen, and let the American people clean up the mess in the years that follow.
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-chief-staff-reportedly-gave-approval-autopen-pardons-final-day-office
FWIW:
Shipwreckedcrew
@shipwreckedcrew
I’m going to agree with @McAdooGordon on the issue of the AutoPen and pardons.
I’m not sure there is any way to make this more clear than has already been the case.
The power to issues pardons is plenary — meaning the Constitution gives it to the President, with no role to be played by the Congress OR THE COURTS.
That means Courts cannot entertain challenges to the issuance of a Pardon. Alleging that the use of an Autopen invalidates a Pardon is a challenge to the Pardon. It is a “non-justiciable” issue — meaning that even if there is factual issue involved, courts are not the place where a remedy can be found.
There is no forum where that challenge can be made.
The Constitution does not specify the form that a Pardon must take — it does not say it needs to be in writing. The existence of a writing makes it much easier for the recipient of a Pardon to prove that one was given by a POTUS who has left office, but the format of the Pardon is not an issue addressed by the Constitution so there is no “right” or “wrong” way to do so, nor is there a “valid” or “invalid” format.
If the former President confirms that he issued a Pardon, that’s it.

This raises an interesting issue. What if the former president denies he gave the pardon, and the pardoned individual disagrees? Doesn’t some fact-finding have to be done to find out if the president, in fact, issued the pardon?
My understanding from what I’ve read is that Biden admitted he didn’t issue it. He said it was done by his chief of staff, and the chief of staff’s email says “I approve” of these pardons, not “the President approves” of them.
If I have the facts wrong, please advise.
it is my understanding Biden gave an interview to the NYT where he states he authorized the pardons.
Move on.
Leslie McAdoo Gordon 🇺🇸
@McAdooGordon
That’s not what The NY Times article says. They specifically quote Biden in an interview he gave them last week as saying her personally approved them all, including Milley’s. Biden said he and his staff thought DJT would go after Milley w/o justification. At the end of the article where a staffer approves that pardon, they are talking about the final internal review process they had in place for handling them AFTER Biden had given his authorizations.
Unless Biden admits one or some were unauthorized by him or specific facts are produced that some were done w/o him knowing about them – for example people got pardons that were outside the ones specifically processed thru the procedures they adopted to transmit Biden’s oral approvals, then this issue is going nowhere.

Okay, thanks Estovir. That does make a difference, and it didn’t come through in the NY Post article I read. I don’t generally read NYT, and I’m also not on Twitter/X. I only know what people are posting there when someone else provides a link.*
*At some point in the 2000s I made a decision, for personal and professional reasons, not to partake of any social media, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and the rest. This blog is the closest I will ever come to participating in social media.
I ran across this reporting today about the NYT article:
The Times printed the headline, “Biden Says He Made the Clemency Decisions That Were Recorded With Autopen.” Biden insisted he “made every decision” on his own and called Trump and other Republican critics “liars.” However, the Times reported in the 32nd paragraph of the lengthy story that Biden “did not individually approve each name for the categorical pardons that applied to large numbers of people,” citing the former president and his aides. “Rather, after extensive discussion of different possible criteria, [Biden] signed off on the standards he wanted to be used to determine which convicts would qualify for a reduction in sentence,” the Times’s report read.
That, to me raises an interesting question about whether he delegated the pardon power contrary to the Constitution. My point here is not to say who is right or wrong. Rather, as a lawyer, one of the things I look for is issues, especially novel or interesting ones. And I think that if description above is accurate, then it does raise a decent issue with which the Trump administration can challenge certain pardons. As far as I know, that issue is novel: it has never arisen before because no president before Biden had made such prolific use of the autopen for pardons based on “guidance” to his staff rather than actually deciding which specific persons should be pardoned.
*. Word has it he approved categories of crimes. The fairies went to work generating specific names. Those names were shown to Joe, he waved his scepter and said, I grant thee pardon one and all. He then sanctified them with- in the name of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
What I heard…
“Word has it he approved categories of crimes”
Absent specific Constitutional language on required procedure for a Presidential pardon, my thought is that precedent should provide at least some of that. There have been recent SCOTUS decisions that rely on modern analogies to practices that existed at the time that the Constitutional language was written. Why shouldn’t that also apply to pardons? Our first three Presidents pardoned 155 people. Did they follow a consistent procedure in doing so? Did they delegate issuing the pardons to subordinates? Did they wave a hand in the air and say “Pardon anyone you think I might like” and allow staff to fill in all of the details? Some of the assertions here about the intended scope of this power seem to be absurd.
Did they wave a hand in the air and say “Pardon anyone you think I might like” and allow staff to fill in all of the details?
In my reading of the constitutional language (below), that wouldn’t be permitted. It’s called the non-delegation rule. The pardon power is exclusively given to the president, and he can’t delegate it to others.
The President . . . shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.
*. Yes, most certainly an abuse the power to pardon. Someone expected otherwise?
The two tier economy is incredibly abusive. I think it can be dubbed evil in terms of its deceit, guile and cunning.
Adieu
That is a good point omfk.
The power to pardon for governors and a president is unquestioned. Close as they came to the benevolence of a King? I haven’t read the portion of The Federalist Papers that might shed light.
That single place of mercy in case an injustice needs correction.
Add to that, aren’t many “pardoned ” charged with no crime, no sentence to commute? Just more mockery.
Yes, they were pardoned preemptively. The constitutional language says the President can grant pardons for “offenses” which I read to mean any offenses committed, even if they haven’t resulted in charges or convictions.
Good point omfk

Today is Bastille Day in France, a national holiday celebrated with a *military parade*.
Where is the Leftist faux outrage at the “fascist,” “king” Macron — and all the French presidents before him?
BREAKING: Biden’s pardons of the Jan 6 committee were signed by autopen—not him—while Trump was about to reclaim office.
Let that sink in. They knew. They planned it. They tried to erase the evidence before the power flipped.
This wasn’t politics. It was a cover-up.
We told you so
*. They’re now saying he signed categories of criminals. There’s nothing in the pardon language indicating any signature is required.

Jonathan: In my haste to get out my last post I forgot to mention the ongoing feud between DJT and Rosie O’Donnell. The comedian has been a thorn in DJT’s side for years. The Comedian recently said on TikTok that DJT “has put this country in danger”. Earlier in the year O’Donnell moved her family to Ireland and said “When it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights in America, that’s when we will consider coming back”.
This sent DJT into a demented tizzy. Yesterday, DJT said he is considering revoking O’Donnell’s citizenship. He said in a post: “Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her…” If DJT thinks he can overturn the 14th Amendment and take away birthright citizenship why not use that same reasoning to taking away the citizenship of one of his vocal critics who was born in NY? Makes perfect sense if you are DJT.
O’Donnell took DJT’s threat in stride. She responded “The president of the usa has always hated the fact that i see him for who he is–a criminal con man sexual abusing liar out to harm our nation to serve himself–this is why i moved to ireland…he is a dangerous soulless man with dementia who lacks empathy, compassion and basic humanity…ur a bad joke who can’t form a coherent sentence…”
I would expect DJT will issue another EO in the next few days trying to revoke O’Donnell’s citizenship. That’s what petty tyrants do, and do and do!
Beep boop goes the bot.
Ya, I can hear the synthetic voice. He doesn’t pass the Turing test.
Yes, Dennis. Trump said it. One tossed-off Rosie insult, and you’re charting the end of democracy. Trump grumbles, you panic. It’s like watching someone try to build a revolution out of a punchline.
Threatening to rescind the citizenship of someone who criticized him is far more dangerous than merely returning an “insult “. Trump doesn’t have this power and even implying that he does is abusive and evidence of his delusions of grandeur.
If he lacks the power to do something, then him saying he’s going to do it is the opposite of dangerous – it’s harmless.
And you are so typical of nit-wit leftists who can’t even tell when Trump is trolling, which he does a lot. Rational people know he’s trolling precisely when he says he’s going to do something he lacks the power to do, such as run for a third term. But you church-ladies-of-the-left clutch your pearls and look like clowns to the rest of the world.
He was emotional and misspoke. I dont hang on every word he says and call him out when mistakes are made
What you say makes you a person without feelings or emotions, or understnading of human rhetoric. Yes, you are a leftist and unintelligent to boot.
This is hardly a surprise. Its hilarious how the left and the hollywood mentality is fine with Rosie’s outbursts. Many have said they would move if Trump won, yet they stay

Regarding Epstein, a few comments:
1. The memo says only that there is no “incriminating” client list. That does not mean there is not evidence of who Epstein’’s financial or other “clients” were, who flew on his jet or who visited his island.
2. The evidence is said to include videos or other images of many Epstein victims, distinct from his internet downloads of child pornography. Was there no evidence of any others involved in the victimisation of these victims? It is hard to believe.
3. The memo makes no mention of possible links to intelligence services, US or foreign. When asked explicitly about that Bondi said she didn’t know and would have to get back on that. Don’t hold your breath. Since this was one of the major allegations, it is hard to believe it has not been investigated.
It sure looks like there is a cover up of some kind going on. I doubt it’s because of Trump’s involvement, since Biden would have released that long ago.
*. The young ladies sued the FBI for not keeping their identities from the public. That was Feb 2024. The young ladies have been represented by personal attorneys and settlements reached. It’s reported Andrew paid 16 million to Guifree to settle. Maxwell was several million and epstein 500 thousand.
There’s no actual reason for the DOJ to be involved as the women obtained counsel.
“There’s no actual reason for the DOJ to be involved as the women obtained counsel.”
So, you cavalierly dismiss numerous instances of nearly certain criminal sexual abuse of children by Epstein’s powerful clients? What does that say about your personal morals? What about allegations that blackmail and extortion influencing US national policy was conducted through Epstein by a foreign power on its own behalf? Who is terrorizing members of the Trump administration to the point that they are willing to risk all of their credibility by attempting to bury this quite important issue in a ton of total BS, and in what form has that influence been applied? I would add some of my own questions to the Epstein speculation contained in the following linked interview transcript: What other evil conduct by the members of whatever powerful elite who are applying this pressure is being concealed by using the same tactics? Does the anti-politics-as-usual appearance by Trump & co have any substance at all, or has it merely been a dog and pony show put on by those powers to distract us from some truly insidious developments that they are in process of implementing under our clueless noses?

https://internationalman.com/articles/doug-casey-on-fear-corruption-and-the-coming-collapse-of-the-american-system/
“One of the things I was thinking about with the whole thing is: what does it take to make these people, who have impeached themselves publicly recently by making claims about evidence that existed—and who have been champions for this cause, for transparency around this for so long—but again, some of these people have now publicly impeached themselves, like Pam Bondi and others, to make this kind of U-turn?
It is such a drastic U-turn, it implies something really scary to me. Because I don’t think you do this for self-gain. I don’t think you can be bribed into destroying yourself like this. I think fear is the only thing that could possibly motivate someone to do this.
So there is something they’ve been exposed to that is so scary to them that they are willing to destroy their whole sense of identity—their reputation—over it. Fear is the only thing I can even imagine that would do it. And it’s got to be fear that probably most of us have never experienced.”
*. You question my personal morals? There’s two crimes here: Federal and State. Epstein and Maxwell had an NPA. Maxwell is currently appealing her prosecution and sentencing. Bondi prosecutes the trafficking ring and Epstein and Maxwell are co-conspirators covered in the NPA.
I didn’t read your complete comment because it’s accusatory of me personally. I wonder about your intelligence and I know your personal morals include baseless judgements. I don’t speak to such people. False witnesses are always avoided.
*. Word has it Maxwell reached a deal. Name names for shortened sentence? Ah, now the public has the chum in the water. Watch them go nuts with their ravenous teeth.
🤢 disgusting
Anyone who deliberately obstructs bringing the sexual abusers of children to justice richly deserves to be torn to shreds, and I do not limit that judgement to metaphor. I sympathize with the victims of that abuse, no one else.
Ay they rot in hell and hell has a special place for such!

Look , look at my kingdom. Bow down and join me and it’ll all be yours?
I’m not sure if you’re innocent or just stoopid.
*. Update that I, a lay person, don’t quite understand as follows: right now Ghislaine Maxwell has appealed her prosecution and sentence based on Epsteins NPA that covered her as a co-conspirator. Bondi via Mr. Sauer, solicitor general, is in the process of responding before it goes to SCOTUS.
The public is confused because Bondi was looking for
co-conspirators and not the Johns of the female underage prostitutes trafficked by the pimps Maxwell and Epstein. I used common language because I’m common.
The individual underage prostitutes file their lawsuits with private attorneys to obtain recompense for the abuse suffered as underage females would suffer because they are legally incompetent to understand sex for money and the damage to their character and psyche.
Hope that helps
It’s civil and all that’s needed is white, rich and male.
Obama/Biden/Hillary and the rest of the Deep Deep State would not have hesitated to release an Epstein “client list” if it had included President Donald J. Trump.
They could face lawsuits for slander and libel?
If DJT were on list, exposing would be easier then hiring an English spook and inventing golden showers.
Since everyone seems obsessed with the Epstein client list today, I think it’s worth repeating something Meyer pointed out below: if the list implicated Trump, the “Joe Biden” administration would have publicized that every single day of his administration. Which he didn’t do, so we can logically conclude that the list does not implicated Trump. There is some other reason the client list hasn’t been released, but we don’t know yet what it is. Relatedly, it is worth noting that Pam Bondi has also stated she has the Ark of the Covenant sitting on her desk waiting to be reviewed, and we’ll hear about that soon.
Yeah, it totally makes sense that a dying administration that illegally coordinated several prosecutions and lawsuits across various jurisdictions would sit on the Epstein list to protect Trump. Especially as their electoral hopes were going up in smoke as first Biden then Kamalalala imploded. I guess they didn’t want to “save democracy” that badly after all.

” if the list implicated Trump, the “Joe Biden” administration would have publicized that every single day of his administration. ”
Probably true. There is, however, another possibility, even if somewhat remote. That is that enough very powerful political figures and backers from across the political spectrum are implicated that a mutual “detente” has been declared. Which might serve to explain some of the egregious issue backtracking by the Trump administration.

Yawn. Real deep analysis there. Hey, how’s old braindead Biden looking these days, as we’re undoing the disaster that was his failed administration? My favorite part was when Trump took over right after the election, before inauguration, and nobody even cared. It’s like Biden didn’t even exist. Hahaha.
WINING!
Typo – WINNING!
Give Alan Dershowitz immunity and put him on the stand before Congress.
He has the Epstein Files hidden deep in his cranial vault and they’re just waiting to be retrieved and published.
It’s the person Virginia guifree accused. A list of one. She sued Maxwell later and Andrew.
We finally got Dumb Bongina’s “failed experiment in all things fantastical” out of Rush Limbaugh’s hallowed slot on the AM dial, and now we gotta hear his “conspiracy theory” claptrap in the daily media cycle.

Go act against the interests of constitutional America on the Marx Blog.
Very true, anon
Witty. Say, did you even talk to an actual human this weekend? Or did you just waste the entire time spamming the blog of a law professor?
Jonathan: The week wouldn’t be complete without pointing out the complete chaos and s*** show within the gangster DJT WH. First, DJT can’t shake the Epstein file scandal after he ordered Pam Bondi to bury it. The MAGA faithful now feel betrayed. Even Alan Dershowitiz has weighed in. He knows a lot about what happened because he represented Epstein in one of his criminal cases. Dershowitz says he knows who is on the “client list” but he can’t divulge the names because of “confidentiality agreements”. Convenient. Probably because some of the victims of Epstein’s sex trafficking allege Alan was a willing participant in the sexual exploitation of girls along with DJT.
Kash Patel and Dan Bongino are caught in the middle. When they were podcasters they continually demanded the release of the Epstein files. Pam Bondi has now stabbed them in the back. Bongino got into a shouting match with Bondi in the Oval Office over her deep sixing of the files and is not considering resigning. More intrigue in the Kingdom!
All this chaos and backstabbing is the hallmark of the DJT regime. But DJT refuses to accept responsibility–blaming the “fake news” for continuing to raise the issue in pressers. He demands the press and his MAGA supporters “move on”. Not going to happen if Steve Bannon, Tucker Carlson and Laura Loomer have anything to say. This scandal is going to dog DJT for the next 3 years because Elon Musk is threatening to set up a third party over the scandal. More intrigue!
Speaking of intrigue did you see that on Wednesday the CEO of X, Linda Yaccarino, announced she is resigning? Her resignation comes a day after Grok, X’s artificial intelligence model, started spewing out all sorts of antisemitic and pro-Hitler propaganda. It doesn’t take a physics whiz kid to figure out the connection!
Thanks, Dennis. Trump has commanded that the Epstein files be buried for one 2 reasons or both of them: 1. they implicate him, just like Elon Musk said; and/or: 2. he can use information about Epstein’s “clients” to blackmail/coerce members of Congress, Senators, potential donors to Republican MAGA candidates or investors for one of Trump’s cryptoscams or other ventures–but he’s using the information for his personal benefit, and Bondi is allowing it. It’s hard to believe that all Bondi has are videos of Epstein’s victims. Naturally, no one wants to humiliate or victimize these young women further, but it’s also hard to believe that any video evidence they have does not include the men who victimized them. Several news outlets reported passenger manifests of people who traveled on the “Lolita Express”, Epstein’s private plane, that included members of Congress, actors and other prominent men.
Whether or not Epstein’s death was suicide or murder has now become murky, too. When you have a doctored video with missing footage, coupled with lying about what facts and information are available, you have created grounds for doubt. Also, it’s not likely that any of the victims are going to start naming names anytime soon. Virginia Giuffrey recently died by suicide (according to reports). She named Prince Andrew.
Even the MAGA crowd sees through the BS–Bondi said the “client list” was “on my desk”, but now, there’s supposedly no client list at all. Then, the dimbulb bottle blondie “press secretary” tried to create alternative facts by claiming that Bondi said or meant to say that the Epstein file was on her desk–not a ‘client list”. That’s not what she said, and because people like Bongino have made a career out of harping about exposing the Epstein files, they’re not buying it. It seems that Ghislaine Maxwell might very well be the key here—but given the bipartisan outcry and what’s at stake, I wouldn’t be surprised if she, too, “committed suicide”, slipped in the shower on a bar of soap and cracked open her skull, got struck by lightning, got shivved by a fellow inmate, or otherwise met with an untimely demise.
Shut up and go away Gigi. In fact, why don’t you take “Dennis” with you, go start your own blog for losers like yourselves, and stop spamming here.
” Trump has commanded that the Epstein files be buried for one 2 reasons or both of them:”
Thank you for making it so easy to spot low-grade thinking.
Let’s try a fact: If Trump were implicated by anything in the Epstein files, Biden and Merrick Garland had four uninterrupted years to expose it. Do you think they wouldn’t have? If that list existed with Trump’s name on it, it would’ve been headline news daily since 2021. The fact that it hasn’t been used is the clearest proof there’s nothing there.
“There’s no client list!”
There are many lists, names, numbers, logs. Epstein had multiple phones, flight records, and contact books. What you seem to imagine is a Hollywood-style confession folder labeled “My Client List – please indict.” That’s not how real investigations work.
Here’s the risk: Publicizing raw contact lists without evidence means smearing innocent people, regardless of party. That’s how reputations are ruined—based on your style of logic.
Your grasp of critical thinking? Paper-thin.
WHY did Bondi say that “the list” was on her desk? She DID say that. And I don’t know why Garland didn’t expose it–probably because he was too busy dealing with Trump’s extensive crimes and the J6 insurrectionists, and he KNEW that if he did, MAGAverse would claim it wasn’t true, that it was . There may well have been concern about the child victims, too. And, there’s never been any evidence that Joe Biden ever directed the FBI or the DOJ to go after or refrain from going after anyone–unlike Trump.
Remember the lines of cocaine we did back in the day in WeHo? you were the fairest of all of the queens in the raw talent you had to do lines on the backs of every ho that bent over for you. You prickly queen you!
Shut up and go away you hysterical dimwit. Your stupid rantings are so easily disproven: https://www.mediaite.com/politics/biden/biden-is-reportedly-growing-frustrated-with-merrick-garland-this-has-been-building-for-a-while/
*. “Waiting to be reviewed”. When opened the list contained the names Donald Duck, Porky Pig, Micky Mouse and others. Bondi is sharp and quickly ascertained Porky couldn’t be guilty.
I’ll look up the case Dershowitz did for Epstein. I’m sure it’s been laundered by now. Several juveniles were in that case? I believe that matters as in being careful with their identities. They might not consent. I’ll check it out.
It’s an espionage story.
*. ^^^ looked up the case. CBS news report Feb. 2024, a list of young women filed a lawsuit claiming the FBI did not protect their identities. They were also unhappy with the settlement reached in their cases.
I didn’t go further with it. It may be the lawsuit is still open and Bondi won’t touch it. The identities may be protected and Bondi is steering clear. Names can’t be thrown around at either end. The case is going no further by the DOJ.
Thought so. Dersowitz wants them open because he’s not in them
I listened to some depositions by the girls and they’re wishy washy but they were able to secure a settlement along with Guifree at the time. The girls did testify against Maxwell, as well, and probably reached a settlement there.
DOJ refuses to get involved due to litigation most likely.
*. Guifree made a killing of 16 million for Andrew’s accusation and he’s been disinherited and life ruined. It’s a time period of E Jean Carroll with accusations 25 or 35 years ago by women with fantasies of money. It pays really well.
DOJ isn’t touching it as well they should not. The girls sued the FBI for identity reveal? They were in open court. The Maxwell incarceration for 20 years. Sometimes you win as in the Sean Combs case.
Petsonal: I paid no attention at the time as hysteria was sweeping the land.
Roger That
“And I don’t know why Garland didn’t expose it–probably because he was too busy dealing with Trump’s extensive crimes”
Competing with George Svelaz for the lame-brained, empty-headed crown? If Garland had anything real, there’d be no need to invent charges. Making things up is the move of the desperate.
Gigi, I’m replying to you by name since your anonymous icon didn’t offer one, and your post never appeared on the blog. Based on what you wrote, it looks like George Svelaz beat you in round one of the championship. You might have bested him if only you’d stayed silent.
So when Biden’s No. 3 man at Justice gave up that lofty post to work as a flunky for Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, eventually to work on Trump’s mislabeled bookkeeping entry case, that was a normal career move, and not something Colangelo did at the behest of Joe Biden?
Face it MAGA, if Trump’s name was NOT all over the Epstein files, then he would have released them unredacted and printed and bound in $299 special editions for sale, with his personal signature, and recorded as an audiobook narrated by James Woods and Mel Gibson, and tattooed on Lauren Boebert’s ass.
Yawn. Logic isn’t your strong suit, right? 4 years of the failed Biden administration and nobody leaked Trump being on the list, huh? Even during the freaking election?
You hear that little bang? That was whatever point you weee trying to make, blowing itself up into smithereens.
Go have your little meltdown in a less public place.
Virginia Guifree’s father was the groundskeeper at mar a Lago. Guifree got a job there briefly resulting in firing due to hooking in the men’s locker room I heard. Nothing else. No hooking allowed.

It looks like it’s going to be a three-way race for the championship. Does another Anony-moron want to join the race?
The porn turned out to be general porn downloads from net and not the islands.
Andrew is still he said she said. He paid to get rid of it as is often done.
Evidence of all destroyed. The FBI gave Bondi boxes of bunk. Was it the FBI?
Dennis is back with another tangled mess: Trump’s White House is now a crime ring, Epstein’s ghost is haunting everyone, Bongino’s screaming in the Oval Office, Elon Musk is founding a third party, and somehow Hitler and AI got mixed in. He treats gossip like gospel and conspiracy like consequence.
Does Hamlet show up, oh worthy thane? Rooftop scene?
That’s it. The ghost of Epstein will appear to Maxwell begging her to avenge his untimely death.
Biden’s DOJ actually prosecuted Ghislaine Maxwell and secured a conviction. If evidence amounting to a client list is missing from the file, Merrick Garland was in the best position to order it disappeared.
As others have said, if there was any dirt on Trump it would have been released or leaked. UNLESS that would have implicated powerful Democrats.
“As others have said, if there was any dirt on Trump it would have been released or leaked. UNLESS that would have implicated powerful Democrats.”
Exactly.
And Biden AG Merick Garland, who also had access to the files, protected Trump for 4 years? unbelievable!

Trump’s recent statement on Epstein files:
What’s going on with my “boys” and, in some cases, “gals?” They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening. We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and “selfish people” are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein. For years, it’s Epstein, over and over again. Why are we giving publicity to Files written by Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden Administration, who conned the World with the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, 51 “Intelligence” Agents, “THE LAPTOP FROM HELL,” and more? They created the Epstein Files, just like they created the FAKE Hillary Clinton/Christopher Steele Dossier that they used on me, and now my so-called “friends” are playing right into their hands. Why didn’t these Radical Left Lunatics release the Epstein Files? If there was ANYTHING in there that could have hurt the MAGA Movement, why didn’t they use it? They haven’t even given up on the John F. Kennedy or Martin Luther King, Jr. Files. No matter how much success we have had, securing the Border, deporting Criminals, fixing the Economy, Energy Dominance, a Safer World where Iran will not have Nuclear Weapons, it’s never enough for some people. We are about to achieve more in 6 months than any other Administration has achieved in over 100 years, and we have so much more to do. We are saving our Country and, MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, which will continue to be our complete PRIORITY. The Left is imploding! Kash Patel, and the FBI, must be focused on investigating Voter Fraud, Political Corruption, ActBlue, The Rigged and Stolen Election of 2020, and arresting Thugs and Criminals, instead of spending month after month looking at nothing but the same old, Radical Left inspired Documents on Jeffrey Epstein. LET PAM BONDI DO HER JOB — SHE’S GREAT! The 2020 Election was Rigged and Stolen, and they tried to do the same thing in 2024 — That’s what she is looking into as AG, and much more. One year ago our Country was DEAD, now it’s the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World. Let’s keep it that way, and not waste Time and Energy on Jeffrey Epstein, somebody that nobody cares about. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Summary:
The Epstein files, that do not exist, are on Pam Bondi’s desk right now. Also, the files that do not exist were written by Obama, Hillary, Comey and Brennan when Epstein died in 2019 when the president was Donald Trump.
I didn’t do it. Obama did it.
If I did do it it’d be o.k. cause I’m president, but I didn’t.
Everybody does the thing I didn’t do, so it’s not really bad, but Obama did it and he’s bad so it was bad.

In considering Wittgenstein’s philosophy and the use of exact words, categories such as children and child are not exact. 16 in Arizona is not 16 in Florida.
Epstein used blackmail to commander heads of governments and departments worldwide. Politics, blackmail, money and compromising behaviors is the Epstein case.
