This afternoon, I will travel to Colgate University to participate in its annual Constitution Day Debate with Michael Klarman, the Charles Warren Professor of Legal History at Harvard Law School. The debate, sponsored by the Robert P. Kraynak Institute for the Study of Freedom and Western Traditions with support from the Office of the President, will address the following question: “Is There a Constitutional Crisis? How Would We Know?”
Professor Klarman will take the affirmative position that we are in a constitutional crisis.
Professor Klarman is the Charles Warren Professor of legal history at Harvard Law School, where he joined the faculty in 2008. He received his BA and MA (political theory) from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980, his JD from Stanford Law School in 1983, and his DPhil in legal history from the University of Oxford in 1988. At Oxford, he was a Marshall Scholar. After law school, Klarman clerked for the Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit (1983–84). He joined the faculty at the University of Virginia School of Law in 1987 and served there until 2008 as the James Monroe Distinguished Professor of Law and Professor of History.
He has written various well-received and widely read works, including From Jim Crow to Civil Rights: The Supreme Court and the Struggle for Racial Equality to Brown v. Board of Education and the Civil Rights Movement, Unfinished Business: Racial Equality in American History, and From the Closet to the Altar: Courts, Backlash, and the Struggle for Same-Sex Marriage. In 2016, he wrote The Framers’ Coup: The Making of the US Constitution.
The moderator for the debate will be Stephen Garvey, A. Robert Noll Professor of Law at Cornell Law School, who writes and teaches in the areas of capital punishment, criminal law, and the philosophy of criminal law. After graduating from Yale Law School, Professor Garvey clerked for the Honorable Wilfred Feinberg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and then practiced at the Washington, D.C. firm of Covington & Burling. He joined the Cornell Law School Faculty in 1994. Garvey received his MPhil in Politics from Oxford University (University College), Oxford, England, in 1989, and a BA in Political Science from Colgate University in 1987.
It is a great pleasure to return to Colgate University and to join these two esteemed academics for this event.
Then we have this – the recently released Gabbard Documents show that in Dec. 2016 the US Intelligence community was preparing to release an assessment on Russian interferance in the 2016 election that was Months in the making, followed normal procedures and concluded there was no collusion with the Trump Campaign. That assessment – the infamous ICA report was rushed, it bypassed all the normal IC analysts, the results were preordained by Brennan, it was based solely on the Steele report – which had already been discredited inside the IC that even with a small team of hand picked analysts to produce a report with the desired outcome – Brennan had to strong arm, blackmail, threaten to blacklist etc. to get them to sign on to the bogus report.
Additionally we have evidence of deliberate leaks to the press of supposed IC conclusions and reports – with High confidence that simply do not exist.
The FBI then used press reporting resulting from their own leaking combined with the Steele Dossier to manufacture the reasonable suspicion needed to continue the investigation.
Obama’s fingerprints are all over this – but so are those of Comey, Clapper and Brennan.
This was a coup de main that consumed the US for over 3 years, and rested on NOTHING.
Of note is that While Clinton was directly responsible for the production of the Steele Report as well as the 2016 CrossFireHuricane investigation. The post election actions do not appear to have involved Clinton, and were driven by lame duck president Obama.

Also included in this relase is that Nunez’s 2017 investigation uncovered much of this – but the intelligence community Classified the most damaging portions of the Nunez report not merely making it impossible to make it public but making it impossible for Nunez and his staff to even speak about what they knew without violating the espionage act.

First off, the Dems offered several motions to (1) subpoena bank records on Epstein transactions and have the heads of 4 banks testify; (2) a motion to subpoena Dan Bongino to testify because he nearly quit because of Barbie Pam Bondi decisions not to release the Epstein files; (3) a motion to compel the head of the Bureau of Prisons to testify and explain who ordered that Ghislaine Maxwell be transferred to a camp in Texas in violation of Bureau rules; and (4) a motion to compel Treasury Secretary Bissent to testify and provide records of the $1.5 billion in transfers by Epstein to victims and others. All the motions by the Dems were defeated by Jim Jordan and the MAGA members of the Committee because they don’t want a full investigation of Epstein or anyone else complicit in the sex trafficking of minor girls.

So Patel openly lied before the Senate!
