“Unacceptable and Wrong”: Google Admits Censorship in Coordination with the Biden Administration

Recently, I wrote a column about Meta’s restoration of free speech protections after the company admitted to censoring users on platforms like Facebook. The company also revealed that it was pressured by the Biden Administration to conduct such censorship. Now, Google has taken the same step in restoring a number of YouTube accounts and pledging to show greater respect for free speech.

Google made the disclosure in a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH):

“Reflecting the Company’s commitment to free expression, YouTube will provide an opportunity for all creators to rejoin the platform if the company terminated their channels for repeated violations of COVID-19 and elections integrity policies that are no longer in effect.”

This is another major victory for free speech. Google specifically acknowledged past political censorship and stated that it “values conservative voices on its platform.”

The company, for the first time, admitted that it yielded to comprehensive pressure from the Biden Administration to censor Americans. It acknowledged that the Biden censorship pressure was “unacceptable and wrong” and pledged to resist such pressure in the future.

Meta has substantially reduced censorship by replicating the approach of Elon Musk at X. These changes are a testament to Musk’s legacy in the restoration of free speech on social media. As I previously noted, we need companies like Facebook and Google. These are companies that are big enough to stand up to the European Union (EU) and its unrelenting campaign against free speech.

The censorship on Google and YouTube had a harmful impact beyond the loss of free speech. It suppressed opposing views on Covid policies from the efficacy of masks to the need to shutdown our schools.

The very figures claiming to battle “disinformation” were suppressing opposing views that have now been vindicated as credible. It was not only the lab theory. In my recent book, I discuss how signatories of the Great Barrington Declaration were fired or disciplined by their schools or associations for questioning COVID-19 policies.

Some experts questioned the efficacy of surgical masks, the scientific support for the six-foot rule and the necessity of shutting down schools. The government has now admitted that many of these objections were valid and that it did not have hard science to support some of the policies. While other allies in the West did not shut down their schools, we never had any substantive debate due to the efforts of this alliance of academic, media and government figures.

Not only did millions die from the pandemic, but the United States is still struggling with the educational and mental health consequences of shutting down all our public schools. That is the true cost of censorship when the government works with the media to stifle scientific debate and public disclosures.

The disclosure is also a blow to many Democratic members of Congress who long attacked witnesses, including myself, who testified against the coordinated censorship by corporate and government officials. Before the release of the Twitter files, members insisted that there was no evidence of such coordination. Some still deny such coordination despite multiple companies now confirming it.

The greatest challenge, however, still lies ahead for these companies. The EU remains the greatest threat to free speech facing Americans. After Musk purchased X with a pledge to restore free speech, figures like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton demanded that the EU use its infamous Digital Services Act to force X to censor Americans.

The EU has threatened Musk with confiscatory fines that could surpass $1 billion, according to The New York Times.

The Trump administration has warned the EU about its efforts to censor Americans. Meta and Google can now join X in creating a formidable corporate alliance for free speech. For the first time, the free speech community might have a coalition of government and corporate allies that could stand up to the EU.

There will likely remain a degree of mistrust from the free speech community towards these companies after years of censorship and stonewalling. However, we also need to accept our allies where and when we can find them. Free speech is in a free fall in Europe and many on the left are encouraging similar censorship laws for the United States. We need these companies and should support them as they take meaningful actions in favor of free speech.

So bravo, Google, bravo.

  1. Another “assassination” attempt against Trump,
that is not getting coverage. Aparently someone has been arrested by the Secret Service for using a laser to try to blind the pilot of Marine One while Trump was in it on the 21st.

    1. Assassination? John Say, you’re starting to sound silly. Did you read the story behind that laser incident? First of all, it was a red laser. The same kind is used to entertain pets. Second, the fellow using it was pointing it at everything. He was some homeless whacko ranting to himself and given the nature of the low-flying presidential helicopter, he started pointing to it. Pilots reported it and he got arrested.
The president was never in any danger. If it were a green laser, the more powerful ones then it would have posed a safety issue. Thankfully there are always two pilots on Marine One.

Like every MAGA right now. Any slight or benign issue is taken way over the top as some sinister plot or attempt on the president’s life. The hysterics and paranoia are really getting to MAGAs. For example, the White House blamed the UN escalator incident on a deliberate attempt to embarrass the President. It turned out it was one of Trump’s staff who accidentally triggered the safety system on the escalator. Then they blamed the teleprompter breakdown as another attempt to curtail the president. Again, it was the President’s staff who did not check its function before the President’s arrival. Paranoia, excuses, and increasing incompetence are becoming the standard in the Trump administration.

      1. “It turned out it was one of Trump’s staff who accidentally triggered the safety system on the escalator.”

And exactly how did he do that, George?

  2. So let me get this straight.
    trump can call Democrats vermin.
Nobody can call trump a nazi.

    Yep, makes sense to me.

    1. Polite and smart and punctual, it once was good to be.
You answer’d for your actions and a woman was a she.
You’d stand up for your people, if needs be even fight.
But now if you uphold such values then you are far right.

      We’re all far right now!
      We’re all far right now!
      Peterson, Rogan, Shapiro.
      Ee-aye, Ee-aye, Ee-aye-oh.
      We worship Mussolini
      His portrait’s in the loft.
      Musk saved Twitter.
      Heil Hitler
      We’re all far right now!

Oh you say you’re in the middle,
      A moderate individual,
      A Gladstonian liberal.
You once laughed at Donald Trump
      You’re probably a fascist too.

    2. Trump wastes his time calling Democrats vermin. That is obvious to anyone with a functioning cortex, and that depicts the high point on the scale; describing a Democrat on a very *good* day.

  3. In 2020 Facebook censored many of my political posts without any ramifications. It wasn’t fair then, and it isn’t now. I am glad that Facebook, Twitter, et al. have been called out and have decided to restore a semblance of Constitutional normality. There was no outcry from the Left while these things were going on because they were the beneficiaries of this censorship. Now, if their ox gets gored, holy hell breaks forth! As Chris Plante often says,”If not for double standards, the Left would have no standards at all.” Where was Jimmy Kimmel when my Second Amendments Rights and of those with whom he disagrees were being trampled? He was taking full advantage of it and making money for himself. Restoration of 2A rights come conveniently for the Left to complain and propagandize against this non-Left administration.

    1. It provided jobs for those who assembled and operated it. What Obama provided was loan guarantees, not direct funding. It fell behind because:

““When the power purchase agreements were signed in 2009, the prices were competitive, but advancements over time … have led to more efficient, cost-effective and flexible options for producing reliable clean energy,” a company statement read.”

In a similar line of reasoning governments waste money on computers because just 10 years later those computers are obsolete.

Technology move on, it improves. Advanced ideas get over taken by different ones.

If one wants to investigate waste, look at US farm subsidies to grow crops that get plowed under. Much of that money goes to the few jobs on automated farms and to a few jobs at petrochemical plants that convert natural gas into fertilizer that washes into streams and rivers to poison fish. It also drives down the price of corn based sweeteners that are low on the sweetness scale but high in calories, which has driven American obesity and with it America type 2 diabetes.

  4. OT; Kash Patel did another stupid social media post before any real investigation began? Wow. Nobody is buying the “engraving” claim as genuine. Not after Patel’s previous premature claims of having a suspect in Charlie Kirk’s murder. For an FBI director, Patel has become a laughingstock.

MAGA definitely did not learn its lesson. As soon as Patel published pictures of the “engraved” bullet MAGA republicans immediately began the same blame game they shamelessly tried when Kirk was killed. It’s simply crazy how badly they want to blame Democrats instead of waiting for the facts.

    1. you really beleive FBI agents are “engraving” things on bullets ?

      For what purpose ?

We Know that Robinson did – his texts and those of his “boyfriend ?” confirm that.

Regardless, if the FBI is tampering with evidence – as Kleinstein did to the FISA court – that would be a crime.

Further – most everyone here know that YOU would not buy the truth if it slapped you in the face.

Regardless, the ICE shooter has been identified, he is a left wing nut from a left wing family and he committed suicide.

      1. John Say,

“ you really beleive FBI agents are “engraving” things on bullets ?

        For what purpose ?”

It’s not me who believes it. MAGA is. MAGA conspiracy theory nuts are not buying it. Many are claiming the purpose of the post is to incite anger against Democrats, again. It seems to have worked since MAGA Republicans like Laura Loomer, Boebert, MTG, and the usual suspects, immediately started blaming Democrats for the incident.

“ Regardless, if the FBI is tampering with evidence – as Kleinstein did to the FISA court – that would be a crime.”

MAGA has been very leery of Patel. They don’t buy his explanations and claims due to the obvious incompetence and mishandling of Charlie Kirk’s murder investigation. Why is the FBI director posting evidence and making claims on social media before the investigation has barely started? Does he know that any bungling and comments made in public can be used to derail a case? Patel seems intent on setting up a narrative to blame the left or Democrats before any facts are confirmed.

“ Regardless, the ICE shooter has been identified, he is a left wing nut from a left wing family and he committed suicide.“

ROFL! Come on John you want it to be true so bad. The FBI has not made any determinations or established any motives yet. As usual, you’re running on pure speculation and assumptions. You’re jumping to conclusions along with MAGA are starting to make you and MAGA look like idiots. Your paranoia has really gotten out of hand lately.

        1. George, you’re the one who wants it to not be true.

You have posted hysterically at least 30 times now, claiming these were not lefties.

You are beside yourself and desperate. Now you’re projecting.

      1. “This comment was written by Adam Schiff.”

Impossible. It is written at least at a 6th grade English level…

  5. “The government has now admitted that many of these objections were valid and that it did not have hard science to support some of the policies. ”

Is this the same government who said covid was no worse than flu? I don’t recall thousands of people being put on ventilation in medically induced coma over the flu in such numbers that ventilators were running short nor that medical staff was triple gowning to treat flu patients. The same government that said to inject bleach?

We don’t know that masks don’t work because almost half the population took wearing a mask as a political and not a medical suggestion and absolutely refused to wear masks. They refused to keep 6 feet away. They refused to avoid close mass meetings, claiming that God could only hear them when seated in a pew and to not do so was an infringement on religion.

“Not only did millions die from the pandemic, but the United States is still struggling with the educational and mental health consequences of shutting down all our public schools.”

The Republicans are trying to shut down all public schools by diverting their funding to private schools; this is their present goal. Why complain when it worked, when parents were getting the chance to have essentially home schooling lite? The main thing that happened is that the pandemic exposed how little parents in the United States are involved in educating their own children, in spite of conservatives demanding that parents must also be involved in every bit of education, but only the bits about sex education or civics.

    1. “Is this the same government who said covid was no worse than flu?”
The death rate from Covid was about the same as the 1968 Hong Kong Flu,
and probably about 1/10th the rate of the 1918 “spanish flu” – that actually began in Kansas

” I don’t recall thousands of people being put on ventilation in medically induced coma over the flu in such numbers that ventilators were running short nor that medical staff was triple gowning to treat flu patients.”
Correct – but it did not take too long before it was realized that the ventalators were not helping.

“The same government that said to inject bleach?”
No one said “inject bleach” – nor did they mean “clorox” – Bleach is any oxygenating agent – hydrogen peroxide a very powerful antiseptic is bleach. Regardless the actual bleach treatment which had a very high success rate until the CDC shut it down, was similar to dialysis – your blood was filtered externally through a diallysis like machine that used bleaching agents to kill the virus.

“We don’t know that masks don’t work”
Actually we do – BEFORE covid there were atleast 11 carefully done studies of the effectiveness of masks against the flu – Not a single one showed any statistically significant benefit. During Covid there were several more studies done – none of those showed a statistically significant benefit.
      These were carefully controlled studies.

Further in an uncontrolled study in NYC – healthcare worked who used state of the art PPE tested positive for covid at a 98% rate after 2 weeks of treating patients.

The initial Wuhan Covid variation had a transmission rate of 2.5-3.5 That appears to be double that of the Flu – but because the base point is 1 not zero – it is actually 3-5 times the transmission rate of the flu.
No one has ever stopped an airborne virus with a transmission rate over 1.4 (typical or the flu) once it gets a start in a population. It just can not be done. With each new covid variant – the transmission rate increased – until by the end of 2021 the transmission rate was over 30 – that is 3 times the transmission rate of the measles – which is also unstopable.

You can also work out that Masks are not going to work even from the positive lab tests.
In a labortory setting an N95 mask reduced the amount of covid virus that was being exhaled – sounds good.

But the required reduction to stop a virus with a 2.5 transmission rate is 97% The BEST a properly worn n95 mask will do is slow the rate of spread – the disease will take longer to go through the entire population – but it will still do so with absolute certainty.

We did NOT initially know the spread mechanism for the virus and we assumed that it was spread by coughing – areosole spread. But we eventually established that like measles – Covid was truly airborne.
The difference is critical – areosole spread means that after the infected person leaves the room in a very short time the virus will fall out of the air and that air is safe for others to breath. An airborne virus stays in the air long after the infected person leaves the room.

No one ever found an effective method to stop covid – which is not surprising – no one has ever found an effective method to stop the flu either.

“because almost half the population took wearing a mask as a political and not a medical suggestion ”
Because that is litterally what it was. Any medical professional with the slightest knowledge of the spread of viruses – and that certainly means Fauxi – new that masks would not do anything in February 2020.
People were told to wear mask so that governmetn could appear to be doing something about Covid and so that people would not feel as powerless as they actually were.

      “absolutely refused to wear masks.”
      Because they do not work.

“They refused to keep 6 feet away. ”
      That does not work either
“They refused to avoid close mass meetings”
      Does not work either.

“claiming that God could only hear them when seated in a pew”
It does not matter what THEY claimed – those of you claiming masks worked were lying.

“to not do so was an infringement on religion.”
      Which it was.

“The Republicans are trying to shut down all public schools by diverting their funding to private schools; ”
Good the best way to improve education is to restore a free market in education.
You want parents controlling where the money spent on their education goes – not the federal state or local government.
We have a system that has been working for almost 500 years that delivers to people what they want and need better than anything in human history has ever managed – nothing else is close. It is called the free market.
The cost of every single thing in your life over the course of your life has dropped in real dollars over time periods of atleast a decade. In most cases the nominal price (the price without inflation adjustment) has dropped thoughout your life. There are almost no exceptions to this – but the rate of decline in the cost is inversely proportionate to the amount of government involvment – the WORST performing goods and services are healthcare and education – those have gotten far more expensive in nominal dollars and the quality of education has declined.

If you want ANYTHING – including education to decline in cost and increase in quality – get government out of it entirely and leave it completely to the free market.

In 1965 a two slice toaster cost 19.99. In 2025 you can buy one on amazon for about 12.99.
The Minimum wage then was about 1.50/hr – so it would take about 13hrs of MW labor to by a toaster.
Today the MW is 7.25 and it tkes less than 2hr to buy a toaster. If we look at median wage rather than minimum the cost of the toaster is even lower. This is true of nearly everything. But the rate at which things have become more affordable varies directly with how free the markets in those goods are.

“Why complain when it worked, when parents were getting the chance to have essentially home schooling lite?”
No they were getting $hitty online learning from schools with zero experience in online and remote learning.
Many states FORBID students from moving from traditional public schools during covid to cyber charters.
Why – because cyber charters work. Both of my kids went through cyber charters – because their local schools failed them and we had to do something. Both of them graduated from HS with 3.9 or above GPA. My son subsequently graduated from an excellent local college with a 3.86 GPA. As a result of Cybercharters – Both my kids are self directed – they are capable of working without supervision and they stay on task, they stay focused and the accomplish significant things.
Are public schools capable of delivering the same results as cyber charters ? Not without free market competition and not without years to develop the tools needed to run a proper online curriculum. In 2020 cyber charters knew what they were doing. Normal public schools did NOT and they failed kids BADLY.

I would further note – that while my kids were cyberchartered – Education is NOT a one size fits all thing. Cybercharters do NOT work for every kid – COVID was not a really good test of that – because traditional public schools were clueless about how to run online education. Regardless, there is not ONE best way to educate a child.
Each child is different. What works for one does not work for another. I told you my kids were cyber chartered – My daughter was adopted from China – she spent 2 years in chinese orphanages – she has severe developmental delays as a result – she is very smart – but even now at nearly 30 she still has some issues that she has to work arround caused by that deficit in attention in a critical developmental period. When she started regular public school she got excelent teachers in preschool and kindergarten through to 3rd grade. In 4th grade she got the team of teachers from h311.
We tried working with the school and my wife and I finally concluded that absolutely anything was better than keeping her where she was. We looked at lots of alternatives. We had no idea what we were doing, but we could not do worse than the publc school she was in. We did not pick cyber chartering because were were some far right religious survivalists. We did so for the same reason that most cyber chartered kids are minorities – because the best hope of those kids is outside the traditional public schools.

If I had it to do over – We would home school rather than cyber charter our kids. But we did not know what we were doing and did not understand the differences and all we were looking for is a good education for our kids that did not bankrupt us.

” The main thing that happened is that the pandemic exposed how little parents in the United States are involved in educating their own children”
Actually the big deal – which is a significant part of the shift of minorities and parents to the right is that it showed parents what garbage their kids were being taught.

“spite of conservatives demanding that parents must also be involved in every bit of education, but only the bits about sex education or civics.”
You really do not understand conservatives or freedom.
The demand is NOT that parents must be immersed in the education of their kids.
It is that Parents CONTROL the education of their kids. That may involve them deeply, it may involve them only a little.

Parents tend to be young – though my wife and I are not. But teachers actually tend to be much younger and worse still few have ever had kids of their own. You do not learn about kids in college – no matter what you are taught.
You learn about kids in the real world when you have them 24×7. There are good parents and bad parents.
But there are very few parents that do not know their kids better and make better choices for their kids than teachers do. And even in the rare instances that is not true – They are still the parents. Children are NOT the property of the state – you left wing nuts claim to hate facism and nazi’s – the idea that children are the property of the state is extremely NAZI.

Further – I noted that the best results ALWAYS come from free markets – Why ? Because free markets hold EVERYONE accountable. Buyers and sellors of anything – toasters, cars, heart transplants education – benefit when they make good choices and loose out when they make bad ones. That HIGHLY encourages EVERYONE to make good decisions – it also encourages constant improvement. The opposite is true of everything govenrment touches.
There are somethings that only government can do – very little, but still a few things – the free market can NEVER be allowed to use ACTUAL FORCE – we do not want a private police force or a private military – even if ti is really hard to get those right without a free market. But anything that does NOT require the use of FORCE should not be in govenrment. The near monopoly on the use of FORCE that government has – makes it lazy and inefficient and i9t also means that the standard market driver – where good choices are rewarded and bad ones punished – does not work with government – because government is NOT a free market. it is NOT regulated by market forces.
There is an entire discipline of economics – called public choice economics that examines and accurately predicts how the same attribuites of human nature that make free markets work like nothing else ever has – work AGAINST our overall benefit in Government. Just look at who gets the best parking spaces at the grocery store vs the DMV and you will learn alot about Public Choice economics. In the free market the focus is ALWAYS on the Customer.
In Government – the customer comes LAST.

      1. Wow, a firehose of Gish Gallop there.

The masks were to prevent GIVING Covid, not preventing getting Covid. To decrease the rate of release.

“It is that Parents CONTROL the education of their kids.”

Can’t control what you don’t monitor. If you monitor you know if the children are falling behind and if they are, to do something about it. Is the homework done? Is the homework correct? What are the test results? Will they help their children understand what was marked wrong on the test?

A child’s attitude to study and homework is 100% the responsibility of the parent and 100% under parental control. The teacher has no choice in that.

When teachers go along with children’s gender it’s because to do otherwise is a distraction from the curriculum.

But the conservative genital inspectors who are obsessed with that is between a child’s legs and don’t care what is in the child’s mind want to maximize the disruption, to ensure no one in the class gets an education except their child and only their child.

The kind of CONTROL conservatives want – to tell everyone else they feel are below them what to do and have them fall in line like slaves. To expect teachers and children to be automatons. The conservatives want to be authoritarians in an authoritarian society and, in turn, accept what those higher in the hierarchy tell them, without thought or question.

  6. Wait, let me catch up here.

Google, a behemoth super wealthy corporation, capitulated to government coercion to censor citizens. Their lawyers must have known that those requests were illegal. They obeyed illegal orders rather than fight using their zillions of dollars.

Now, four or five years later, they are partially rescinding their illegal actions and acting like they are the good guys.

Not working. Still EVIL. Still lying sacks of deep state propaganda. EVIL beyond measure.

Their foreign-born, unAmerican, worthless CEO wouldn’t know freedom of speech if it bit him on the butt.

  7. MAGA !!! Make Argentina Great Again !!!!

Apparently the libertarian government of Argenta led by Javier Milei is collapsing.
The draconian government austerity has triggered a deep recession, the peso has lost 30% of its value, unemployment has skyrocketed, wages have fallen, 50% of the population now lives in poverty, it has no foreign reserves and is unable to pay $20 billion in debt due over the next 15 months.

So the small, libertarian government that all the MAGA morons praised is collapsing.

And now, for some unknown reason the Trump administration feels the need to bail them out.
    Why ???
What is the benefit to this country ???
Why are we in the business of bailing out failed foreign countries ???

Obviously, the only possible reason is that Trump wants to ensure that his strongman, authoritarian friends survive.

MAGA !!!! Make Argentina Great Again !!!!!

    1. Where are you getting your information ?
Milei was election really as a gamble – because argentinans KNEW that he could not posssibly make things WORSE.

Argentina had really bad problems BEFORE Milei – it still has problems after him – But those problems are IMPROVING. Inflation has dropped dramatically – the Peso is worth less – but the Peso what constantly being devalued before. Its current devaluation is SLOWER than before.

There was a recession when Milei took office – there was going to be one regardless – it has been over for some time.
The argentine government has been slashed. They actually have run a surplus recently – no more massive borrowing.

Inflation is still too high but much lower – Growth has returned.
Unemployment rose because govenrment was slashed – not employement is rising – productive employment.
      GDP is rising.

Argentina has not had any foreign reserves in atleast two decades.
They defaulted on foreign loans TWICE in the 21st century – they have had to pay a premium to borrow since then.

Today Argentina is an EXCELLENT investment.
Until the Peronist Fascist socialists took over – Argentina was one of the wealthiest countries in south america.
But almost a century of socialist rule has destoryed a country with incredible potential – Milei is restoring that.

The only thing that Argentina should be concern that the country goes left again.
Economic optimism in Argentina is at the highest it has been in the 21st century.

According to Gallup – the poverty level TODAY is 35% down from 48% when Milei took office.
Milei’s approval rate is about 50%.

Everything in Argentina is NOT wine and roses – things are still bad – it takes a long time to purge amost a century of socialist failure. But by every measure Argentina is improving.

That would be compared to the socialist paradise Venezuela where Chavez and Maduro have taken the wealthiest country in South american and turned it into the poorest.

      1. Milei’s party lost the Buenos Aires provincial elections last month by 13 points. High ranking people in his party, including his sister, have been accused of bribery and other acts of corruption. I have no idea how credible the allegations are, but apparently many people believe them. Milei’s approval rating, at least in Buenos Aires, has collapsed. National elections are next month, and considering Buenos Aires is about 40% of the electorate, it’s going to be an uphill battle for Milei to win.

After the provincial election, the Argentine peso lost a lot of value almost overnight as international investors flee out of fear of Leftist rule.

Why anybody sane even tries to straighten Argentina out amazes me.

    2. “. . . unemployment has skyrocketed . . .”

      That’s a lie. (Imagine that.)

And so is this (by omission): Milei’s economic policies have cut inflation by some 85%!

  8. The utterly incompetent Pam Blondie has announced she is asking a grand jury to indict James Comey.

Of course, this is a deliberate violation of Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure Rule 6(e)(2)(B) that can result in civil fines or criminal prosection and imprisonment.

    1. AI Overview

As of September 24, 2025, federal prosecutors are preparing to seek a criminal indictment against former FBI Director James Comey on charges of allegedly lying to Congress. The development follows years of accusations from former President Donald Trump and comes as the five-year statute of limitations for the alleged perjury is about to expire.

      Alleged crime: Lying to Congress

The accusation: The potential indictment is focused on statements Comey made during his September 30, 2020, testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee. In that testimony, he denied leaking or authorizing the leak of information to the media during the 2016 Russia investigation.
Conflicting accounts: This testimony contradicted an earlier statement by former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who said Comey was aware that McCabe had authorized a leak to The Wall Street Journal.
The evidence: News outlets report that prosecutors have been weighing the strength of the case. While an internal Justice Department Inspector General report in 2019 criticized Comey’s handling of memos but found no evidence he leaked classified information, some prosecutors still felt there was not enough evidence for a criminal charge. The Inspector General’s report also led the DOJ to previously decline prosecution.

      Political context
The push for an indictment is occurring within a politically charged environment.

Trump’s pressure: The effort to charge Comey comes just days after Donald Trump publicly questioned why cases had not been brought against his political adversaries and called for Attorney General Pam Bondi to act quickly.
Shake-up in the prosecutor’s office: Following this public pressure, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, Erik Siebert, reportedly resigned under pressure after opposing charges against Comey. Trump then replaced him with one of his former personal attorneys, Lindsey Halligan.
Weak evidence, according to reports: Sources speaking to ABC News indicated that a months-long investigation by the Eastern District of Virginia failed to establish probable cause for a crime, a lower standard than is needed for a conviction.
Broader investigations: This effort is part of broader moves by the current administration to pursue investigations against political opponents, including New York Attorney General Letitia James.

      Comey’s past conduct and investigations
This latest legal maneuver follows earlier scrutiny of Comey’s conduct during his time as FBI Director:

Handling of Hillary Clinton’s emails: In 2016, Comey received bipartisan criticism for his public statements on the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

Leaking memos to the press: After being fired by Trump in 2017, Comey leaked memos detailing his conversations with the President to a friend, who then shared them with the press.
The DOJ’s Office of the Inspector General found this action violated agency policy, but the DOJ declined to prosecute him over it.

Inspector General’s finding: The IG later found no political bias in the opening of the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia.

      1. Aparently your AI is pretty stupid – it contradicts itself

Comey has admitted to unauthorized posession and leaking classified information

Further DOJ recovered from his lawyer years ago classified information that he retained after being fired that he then gave to his lawyers and that the lawyer admitted to providing to the press.

This is separate from the issue of whether McCabe or Comey lied to congress about McCabes leaks – certainly ONE of them is lying.

I would further note – it is not relevant whether there is political bias.

That is NOT the standard. The standard for an investigation is Reasonable suspicion.
The IG report you cite found there was reasonable suspicion to Open the Crossfire huricane investigation.
IG Horowitz did NOT find there was no political bias – he found LOTS of political bias – that is just not the standard.
IG Hororwitz DID find that reasonable suspicion for Xfire Huricane had evaporated after Danchenko was interviewed in early december. and that the continuation of the investigation by DOJ/DBI after approx Dec. 20, 2016 was improper.

How serious is what Comey is accused of ? More serious than the accusations against Trump and with more evidence. But not all that serious. Though far more serious than accusations against Gen. Flynn. Worse still – Durham pretty well established that no matter what the evidence is – a conviction of someone on the left near DC is nearly impossible.

Regardless, I have no problem putting Comey and James through the wringer – even if there is no conviction.

They had ZERO problems doing that to others on FAR less evidence.
They are accused of a crime that they each committed, and should be convicted of.
Personally I would throw the book at each of them – NOT because they are serious criminals,
But because they are the top law enforcement officials and should be held to a far higher standard than others.
But in the real world in the unlikely event they are convicted – the reverse is true – they will get a pass because they were top law enforment officials.

I am generally pro law enforcement – I will give law enforcement the benefit of the doubt all the time.
But when it is clear that those in law enforcement have committed a crime – I will throw the book at them.
If they are part of the justice system – prosecutors and judges – I will throw the book at them TWICE.

Our system does not work well when those in law enforcement break the law.

Contra claims above – Bondi is not violating the rules of civil procedure. Regardless, the rules of civil procedure are NOT criminal laws – Perjury and mishandling of classified information are Crimes.

If Bondi commits an actual crime – she too should be prosecuted.

Do I care if DOJ acts politically ? A little bit.
But very little if they are ACTUALLY following the law.
If they have reasonable suspicion of a crime – they can investigate.
If they have probable cause they can prosecute.
If they can prove it beyond a reasonable doubt – they can convict.

There is reasonable doubt as to whether Comey authorized McCabes leaks.
There is zero reasonable doubt that Comey leaked classified information.
There is zero doubt he lied under oath.

    2. ATS – no that is not a violation of the rules of civil procedure.
The evidence presented at a grand jury is secret.

      NOT the targets.

Are you saying that SC Smith was violated the same rule when he publicly spoke about indicting Trump.

I have no idea if Comey will be indicted – though he certainly should be.
I doubt he will be convicted – it is unlikely that a DC or North VA jury is going to convict.

But there is zero doubt he lied under oath to congress and that he leaked classified information.

    2. Because – It’s an issue right now.
Do you think it’s because he’s getting his $15 Million Dollar/Yr. salary back online.
I don’t think %99.9999 of those viewer make $1,250,000 per month.
Nor do there Truly care about the issue around his suspension.

    3. Nexstar is the parent company of KTLA. In its statement, the company said it “strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk.”

“Mr. Kimmel’s comments about the death of Mr. Kirk are offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse, and we do not believe they reflect the spectrum of opinions, views, or values of the local communities in which we are located,” stated the president of the company’s broadcasting division, Andrew Alford. “Continuing to give Mr. Kimmel a broadcast platform in the communities we serve is simply not in the public interest at the current time, and we have made the difficult decision to preempt his show in an effort to let cooler heads prevail as we move toward the resumption of respectful, constructive dialogue.”

All reports, including Variety’s breaking coverage, pointed to Kimmel’s comment about two minutes into Monday’s monologue:

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”

Kimmel continued in his typical monologue style:

“In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving on Friday,” he said. “The White House flew the flags at half-staff, which got some criticism, but on a human level, you can see how hard the President is taking this.”

He then played a clip of President Trump responding to a question about how he was coping with Kirk’s death. Trump replied:

“I think very good, and by the way, right there you see all the trucks — they’ve just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House.”

As studio laughter faded, Kimmel joked about the president’s response:

“Yes, he’s at the fourth stage of grief: construction. This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend.”

      – Lily Dallow

      1. Kimmel offered a teary weird appology – he denies that he said that Kirks killer was MAGA – which your quote proved. But he admitted that his remarks could be understood to say that.

His apology likely was written by Disney’s lawyers because it meets the requirements to mitigate a defamation lawsuit. That will make getting Punatives very hard – Frankly Disney may have put Kimmel back on the aire specifically to get that apology on the air – that likely saved them nearly a billion dollars.

The left – and Trump fixated on the remarks Kimmel made about Trump.
Those are irrelevant. Trump is about as much a public figure as you can possibly be, he has the least possible protection from defamation. While stephanopolis calling him a rapist – met that incredibly high threshold,
Kimmels remarks did not. People can lie through their teeth about the president without consequence.

And I am actually OK about that – that IS protected free speech.
Though the still can and ought to get fired for it.

Some are saying that Kimmel now can’t be fired – that Trump made it impossible to fire him.

I doubt that – pretty sure Bob Iger has no problem firing people.

But assuming that is true – that is actually a sort of victory for Trump.
Disney/ABC has to prop up with Money and declining public support a unfunny money losing comedian

        1. Kimmel did not really apologize. He reiterated what he always meant. YOU keep claiming he lied and defamed Kirk without evidence of what exactly was defamatory and a lie.

YOU wanted his remarks to say Kirk’s killer as MAGA. He never said that. Now you’re gaslighting his comments to justify your incorrect assumption.

“ But assuming that is true – that is actually a sort of victory for Trump.
Disney/ABC has to prop up with Money and declining public support a unfunny money losing comedian”

Victory? Huh? Trump failed to silence Kimmel. The FCC’s threats to silence Kimmel made him more popular and even turned MAGA against Trump knowing his attempt to silence him could one day be used against them. At least THEY recognized the danger of what Trump was doing.

You claimed millions of Disney customers complained about Kimmel and that is why he was taken off the air. That was a lie. Apparently, more people wanted him to remain and Trump made him more popular than ever when he tried to silence him. Professor Turley missed his opportunity to directly criticize Trump’s blatant attempt to stifle free speech by using the government. MAGA pushed back. Turley didn’t. Think about that for a second. Turley was safe to criticize Trump’s overreach because even MAGA was not buying Trump’s or your excuses. That is how bad it was.

          1. Even Kimmel said that his remarks could have been taken that way, George.

But you are desperately continuing to act like an imbecile and claiming you dont know what we’re talking about.

Why would you rather look like an idiot than admit you know what he was implying?

    4. The video of Reggie the Capuchin Monkey sticking it’s penis in the ear of an unsuspecting Jimmy Kimmel has 28 million views. So what?

Give the phone back to mommy and go clean your room.

  9. Turley misrepresents the facts. Google and Meta did not admit to political censorship, they updated and retired policies that were specific to COVID and elections. Content moderation isn’t the same as government censorship, and the science on masks, distancing, and school closures is something Turley fumbles over and oversimplifies. He’s a conspiracy theorist so there’s that. Finally, framing the EU’s Digital Services Act as a campaign against American free speech is greatly misleading. It’s about transparency and accountability in Europe. Turley again shows he’s a typical MAGAtard (just emulating the way Trump talks) and not even close to attempting to be objective.

    1. “Content moderation isn’t the same as government censorship” it is when directed by Government.

While you are wrong regarding “the science”, even that does not matter.
Being right about the science does not alter the fact that censorship is wrong.

But you were both wrong and authoritarian.

      1. If the captain tells a ranting passenger to stop telling other passengers on a sinking ship there is no need for life jackets or to go to the life boats, is that an infringement on free speech?

Trump failed to close the borders and wiped out the pandemic response teams and replaced them with nepotism and lies. A million Americans died at a far higher rate than almost every other nation on Earth because Trump failed to do what was necessary because he felt it would cause him to lose an election. Instead Americans died for his vanity. It was a tough task to turn the ship of state and Biden did his best including staunching the flood of misinformation.

        1. “If the captain tells a ranting passenger to stop telling other passengers on a sinking ship there is no need for life jackets or to go to the life boats, is that an infringement on free speech?”
NO – because the capitan has no power to do so. He is NOT government. If he is – if he has the actual power to do so – then absolutely YES that is a violation of free speech.

          But the REALTY is worse.
          The correct analogy would be
“If the captain tells a ranting passenger to stop telling other passengers on a sinking ship there is no need for lead weights”
Or possibly more accurately “If the captain tells a ranting passenger to stop telling other passengers that the life jackets have been replaced with fakes”

“Trump failed to close the borders”
Correct – but the data we now have indicates that Covid was in the US before anyone new – possibly as early as November 2019, and certainly before CDC was reporting a problem.
Trump did close the borders rapidly. But even if Covid had not already been in the country that would not work.
China DID Isolate Wuhan from the rest of China – though they allowed it to escape to the rest of the world without warning. China was successful in quarantining COVID in Wuhan, which prevented it from getting to the rest of China in 2020. BUT Eventually China started getting Covid coming back accross the borders from other Countries and as a result China was both one of the first countries with Covid and one of the last.
Had China totally Quarantined Wuhan – both domestically and internationally MAYBE Covid would have been stopped – though once an airborne virus gets past a hundred plus people it tends to be unstoppable.

Regardless it was too late to close the borders and at best would have delayed things a bit and little more.

“A million Americans died at a far higher rate than almost every other nation on Earth”
False – covid death rates are entirely predictable by latitude and demographics.
The US has an excellent heathcare system a large elderly population in poor health – because of the excellent healthcare system – and that is exactly the combination that gives you the highest mortality rate.
The US has the highest rates of diabetes in the world (we are also the most successful at treating diabetes) and Covid specifically targeted people with diabetes – that is just ONE demographic factor
The US had the 17th highest mortality rate from Covid in the world – not the highest. Peru had double the rate of the US. The UK, Brazil and Itally had nearly identical rates. Europe as a whole had about the same rates as the US for much the same reasons – an excellent healthcare system and aging population, and people with problems who would have already been dead in other countries. There are a number of small differences with Europe – but these are small.

Regardless the claim that the US did FAR worse than similar western nations is complete BUNK.
The difference between the US and UK is almost nonexistant. And several EU countries had higher mortality rates than the US.

Further – You are ignoring Sweden. We can fight about sweden all you want.
Sweden had a lower mortality rate than the EU as a whole.
And Sweden did NOT do all the things those of you on the left claim that we must do.
Masking was optional, Aside from a week at the very start Sweden did NOT shutdown.
Sweden did screw up at the start with Nursing homes – making the same mistakes that Governors in PA NJ and NY made and allowing Covid to get into Nursing homes – and that was disasterous, and Sweden Did after that lock down nursing homes so that it was very very difficult to get to see someone in a nursing home.
Norway did that from the start and it was very effective there. But Norway also had a completely different nursing home structure than sweden or the US or the EU with many small homes and no large homes.

Regardless Sweden proves beyond any doubt that the measure that we fight over – masks, business shutdowns, social distancing, etc had ANY beneficial effect at all.

A rigid near total quarantine of nursing homes – server Norway well, and eventually Sweden.
But there is no evidence that any other public policy regarding Covid ANYWHERE had any effect at all.

I would further note that, that was KNOWABLE at the very start. The spread of diseases is mathematical,
It is based on the transmission rate. While the Los Almos and Imperial college Covid computer models were absymally badly coded and way to complex – they were still only about one order of magnitude off in the end.
Though a simple excel model was far better.

At a transmission rate of 1.4 – that of the flue – you need about a 96% effective combination of policies to thwart the spread of the disease – anything less just makes it take longer and risks the disease becoming endemic – never going away, which is exactly what happened with Covid – again predictable.

If you do not want a disease to become endemic – you want to get through it AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.
The Hong Kong Flu is gone – it never returned. The Spanish Flu is gone, it never returned.
Covid is likely here forever. It has mutated to become unbeleiveably contageous. But it has also become less lethal than the flu – which again is mathematically predictable. It iss essentially just a new cold virus today – much like other corona viruses.

96% is what you need to stop a transmission rate of 1.4 – the Flu – and no one has ever stopped the flu.
The initial transmission rate for COVID was 2.5-3.5 – you would need combined measures that were 99.5% effective to stop Wuhan covid – by the time it was Delta – that would be more like 99.999% and by the time it was Omicron – anything short of a 100%isolation was not stopping it.

This is all math. It was known at the start. I find simple and more complex models on the spread of of diseases online in early 2020. I beleive 3Blue1Black on youtube did a series. He examing multiple levels of complexity in the models – simulating cities and public transportation and all the complexities in the Imperial college model and found the complexities had some effect on the geography of the spread, but no effect on the strenght of counter measures required.

I would further note the edges were Sharp – if a 96% effect combination would result in 1/2 as many deaths.
a 95.5% combination would result in the same deaths as ZERO measures – just over a longer time and might even result in more deaths if the disease became endemic.

“Trump failed to do what was necessary”
Trump failed to do what was not possible. With a very few exceptions, doing NOTHING was a better choice than what nearly every country did – and that was absolutely predictable from the start.

The Exceptions are – we should have RAPIDLY strictly quarantied old folks homes as well as hospitals, and everyone who worked in those. We should have never allowed anyone with Covid or who was exposed to someone with covid in a hospital or nursing home. Workers should not have even been allowed to return home to their families. We should have dealt with those people with covid completely separate from our hospitals and nursing homes – the Chinese did this.

These are very draconian meaasures and only for the most vulnerable. And we should have given those people the choice – complete quarantine or NOT. But if you choose not – you are removed from hospitals and nursing homes and not allowed to return. As I noted earlier you would have needed a 96% effective quarantine to significantly reduce deaths among those who where most vulnerable.

The next measure was the vaccine. We absolutely totally completely missused the vaccine.

The covid vaccine that Trump developed was rushed and has a very high mortality rate for a vaccine – we are still seeing lots of problems. BUT for those most vulnerable to Covid, the risks of Covid were far higher than the risks of the vaccine. The tipping point where the vaccines risks became higher than the risk from covid was somewhere arround the age of 55 with no health problems – there was no good reason for people under 55 with no health problems to get vaccinated – the vaccine was too dangerous and their covid risk too low.

But there is another factor./ We are still giving people Covid vaccines when the data says the adverse reaction risk increase with each vaccination AND the effectiveness decreases.

That means that we should have VOLUNTARILY mass vaccinated ONLY the most vulnerable
and then done everything possible to get Covid to blow through the rest of the population as rapidly as possible
Repeated revaccination – even of vulnerable people is a BAD idea.

Lets just say that the risks from the vaccine are 1/3 the risk of Covid – that means that after the 2nd vaccine you should stop.

Our covid policies were not only mostly useless – they actually made things WORSE.

I told you that you COULD quarantine the most vulnerable to reduce deaths, and that you could vaccinate the most vulnerable to reduce deaths.

But even that ONLY works if you can get Covid to blow through the world as fast as possible.

No quarantine is good enough to protect those being quarantined forever.
And most everyone know that the poor but real protection of the vaccine comes at significant risk and has a SHORT duration. The vaccine and quarantining the vulnerable are ineffective if Covid lasts for 3 years – or worse as it has becomes endemic.

Did Trump- do the wrong things – absolutely So did EVERYBODY and especially the so called EXPERTS.

” It was a tough task to turn the ship of state and Biden did his best including staunching the flood of misinformation.”

ROFL – Biden was FAR worse than Trump on Covid – he had almost 3 times as many total deaths – and WORSE his bad policies – combined with those of Europe assured that COVID become endemic – and that makes even the policies that might have worked USELESS.

The core to the western response to Covid was so called “flattening the curve” the produce of a HS science fair project in I beleive 2006. There are only a very limited number of circumstances in which that approach does not make things WORSE

You claimed that Trump wanted to win the election – there is absolutely no doubt that is true.
But then you Posit that Trump did all the WRONG things to win the election.
That is logic that only a left wing nut could come up with.

Trump had every incentive to do whatever was best to defeat Covid – that was his best hope of winning the election.

That ALSO means that Democrats had every incentive to try to make Covid WORSE – because that would win the election for them. They had every incentive to LIE about what Trump was doing – which they did.
Even to the extent or delaying the announcement of successful vaccine tests until after the election.

Trump lost by a total of LESS that 45,000 votes in 3 states – AZ, GA and WI. It is near certain that if the vaccine had been announced before the election – he would have won those states.
It is near certain that if the Media had not lied about hunter bidens laptop Trump would have won those states.
It is near certain that if Democrats had not used COVID as an excuse to do mass unconstitutional mailin voting – Trump would have won those states.

You are absolutely right that the election was a major factor in handling Covid.
You just fail to grasp that the ACTUAL incentive for trump was to do everything possible to defeat Covid, and for Democrats to do everything possible to prolong it and to use it to rig the election.

As to Biden – even by YOUR claimed standards – Biden was both a failure and did almost nothing different from Trump

But then Biden was a failure at everything he touched.

  10. There is only:

    Patriot or Enemy

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, That any Alien being a free white person, who shall have resided within the limits and under the jurisdiction of the United States for the term of two years, may be admitted to become a citizen thereof….

  11. OT

A salute to the the work of the left in managing to turn the slaughter of an American political activist. The heinous ripping of Mr. Kirk’s neck did silence his freedoms. The left has managed to malign a man and no less in moments of grief and mourning. They’ve magically turned it into higher ratings for Jimmy Kimmel and blamed the government. These are magic tricks truly of evil.

Shall we exonerate the murderer and give him a crown of glory? He spoke, he expressed how he felt and thought as a true American hero while hiding on a rooftop and his target unaware and unarmed.

BRAVO BRAVO BRAVA resounding cheers Disney. Accolades to Jimmy Kimmel and his freedoms! Speak truth to death, mock the death of an unarmed man, Jimmy my man! BRAVO Disney!

    1. Kimmel is caused by monopolies in speech and press. The monopolies are left. The appeal is from bottom to top. Tv show The Big Bang warms your children to the atheistic belief the universe was created randomly by a big bang. The philosophy is there isn’t a meaning to life.

It’s caused by monopolies , PT, and if Kimmel wants to work in media he’d better be left. It took Musk to buy out Twitter to get a free speech platform up and running. Google is left and amoral. Today this tomorrow that, keep the money rolling.

Big, huge, leviathan money is speech and press, PT. Klarman was keeping his job. They aren’t on the gold standard. They’re on the crypto standard. Too many zeros for the limestone caves.

Kimmel showed his good will. No?

      1. Reality is psyops. The alternative to entertainment from Pandora’s box are hobbies and companions in shared interests.

The beast of religious concern is simply man’s instinctual behaviors without law nor reason. It’s so obvious when animals aka beasts are given human eyes and expressions subtly.

Good mothers are instinct driven as are mammals of all kinds but what happens when instincts go awry? And why? Good mothers gone awry in birthing people and chest feeding? This is beyond the beast and therein is evil. Birthing people and chest feeding came from psyops.

To Disney and Kimmel may you have the Midas touch. To psyops, Pandora’s box and AI may you suffer an electrical. It’s a waste of good electricity.

      2. Seriously, turn on any vulgarity box and listen to stories about constipation and viagra. What fine endeavors…

    2. After extending condolences on the day of the shooting over Kirk and to his family, he went after the MAGA who had more concern for a ballroom and practically danced in the lights on Charlie’s memorial stage.

  12. “These changes are a testament to Musk’s legacy in the restoration of free speech on social media.” HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH HAHAHHA oh my god that was a good joke. You lot want to be oppressed so badly.

    1. Backing away from censorship was the direct consequence of Musks takeover of Twitter.

But NOT in the way most think.

Musk fired the content moderators – 70% of twitter.
The cost of content moderation is enormous.

Musk demostrated that twitter was as valuable without the massive content moderation as with.

CEO’s can not spend a companies money for something that does not deliver a tangible value.
Google, Meta, etc slowly started laying off people as it became apparent that despite the hype from the left that Twitter was surviving and thriving with 70% less staff.

Post Musk no business is going to do more than light and easy content moderation unless forced by government
and forced by government is called CENSORSHIP.

Google had no choice. They were answerable to shareholders for the money they spent.

What they are saying about reducing content moderation is called SPIN.
They cut it because it is not profitable.
It is not a sufficient value add for many people to pay for.

      1. “ CEO’s can not spend a company’s money for something that does not deliver a tangible value.
Google, Meta, etc slowly started laying off people as it became apparent that despite the hype from the left that Twitter was surviving and thriving with 70% less staff.”

Are you sure about that? Musk’s firing of content moderators and Twitter/X losing a lot of advertisers and revenue did not help. X is barely breaking even.

Advertisers didn’t like being associated with racist content and other controversial views. Google and Meta followed a more careful approach.

      2. Twitter was barely break-even before Musk took it over. It’s now far into the red and continuing to hemorrhage. Since going private they don’t seem to release much information, but the estimates are they are 50% below breaking even, losing billions of dollars every year on a $44 Billion expenditure. The content moderation did not cost billions of dollars.

Registered user counts have not recovered to the pre-Musk time, though estimates are that 70-80% of the current users are bots.

To keep it afloat it was merged with xAI in the Spring of this year; xAI is another money losing vanity project for Musk.

  13. Jonathan: Yes, free speech is alive and well–but not the kind you want to talk about. Jimmy Kimmel returned to the air last night. I watched his monologue on YouTube because Sinclair refused to carry the show on my local TV station.

What is noteworthy is that Kimmel’s suspension hit a chord with millions of Americans. They were outraged by Kimmel’s suspension and en masse cancelled their Disney subs. That caught the attention of Bob Eiger. Even conservatives and right-wing pundits were alarmed. Ted Cruz, Tucker Carlson and other right-wing pundits realized that DJT’s attempt to censor Kimmel could come back to haunt. What if a future Democratic President were to go after them? That’s why the left and the right came together to defend Kimmel. As a long time critic of Joe Biden during his 4 years in office and your claims of his “censorship” of conservative views you never saw Biden use the FCC to try to silence critics by threatening to cancel their broadcast licenses.

DJT was incensed by ABC’s decision. He went ballistic and posted this: “I cant’ believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back…I think we’re going to test ABC out on this. Let’s see how we do. Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 million Dollars. This sounds even more lucrative. A true bunch of losers! Let Jimmy Kimmel rot in his bad ratings”. Can you imagine Joe Biden posting such a threat against one of his critics? But DJT is a “convicted felon” so extortion is always his fall back when everything else fails!

Mark Twain said it best: “The people have only one effective weapon and it is laughter”. Twin recognized humor and satire–making fun of politicians is the only effective thing that gets under their skins So welcome back Jimmy. We missed you!

    1. ” I watched his monologue on YouTube because Sinclair refused to carry the show on my local TV station.”
Which is what they said they would do within hours of his defamatory conduct
      Good for them.

“What is noteworthy is that Kimmel’s suspension hit a chord with millions of Americans.”
Correction – 2 or 3 left wing nuts.

“They were outraged by Kimmel’s suspension”
But never said a word when the FCC revoked almost 2 dozen Sinclair licenses over google.

“Conservatives and right-wing pundits were alarmed.”
Because republicans should not do the same stupid things democrats have done for 60 years.

“What if a future Democratic President were to go after them?”
That is a given – Democrat presidents have been using the FCC to go after conservatives since Johnson was president
      FCC vs. Red Lion
“The Good Guys, the Bad Guys, and the First Amendment.

“That’s why the left and the right came together to defend Kimmel.”
      Only in your head.
Some of us are defending free speech – you know like when Nazi’s engage in free speech.
Kimmel is a low life Cretin – he should be fired.
But the FCC should not censor him.

“Biden use the FCC to try to silence critics by threatening to cancel their broadcast licenses.”
Biden cancelled the boradcast licenses of dozens of conservative stations on a far more dubious basis than this.

“I cant’ believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back…I think we’re going to test ABC out on this. Let’s see how we do. Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 million Dollars. This sounds even more lucrative. A true bunch of losers! Let Jimmy Kimmel rot in his bad ratings”.
ABC Paid Trump 16M for defamation – the FCC had nothing to do with it, and as I recall the payout was Before the election.

“Can you imagine Joe Biden posting such a threat against one of his critics? ”
You mean like taking them behind the gymnasium and beating the crap out of them ?

      1. John Say,

“ Biden cancelled the boradcast licenses of dozens of conservative stations on a far more dubious basis than this.”

Where is your proof of this claim? Are you lying John?

      2. Sinclair is owned by Trump sycophants. Like many before, they believe Trump will give them some benefit, but I think they too will end up at the Four Seasons Lawn and Garden Center, between a crematory and an adult sex-toy store. Or the My Pillow guy. Or Tucker Carlson, fired for lying about voting systems and costing Fox / Rupert Mudoch nearly $1 Billion. Many of his lawyers have been disbarred.

    2. Dennis, why don’t you just admit that there was neither anything funny nor even comedic, nor even an attempted “joke” in Kimmel’s comment, “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who m***dered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”

It was a blatant attempt to use a comic’s platform and wide TV audience to deliver a defamatory political statement.
Please tell us, dennis, what was funny about that? George Carlin was funny; Kimmel is vindictive-maybe over his failed ratings.

    3. Jimmy Kimmel is losing millions of dollars a year. His audience is about 1/3 of what it was in 2017. That’s why he will be canceled. He insults more than half the country on a regular basis. That can’t go on forever. NBC fired Megyn Kelly in 2018 for making an innocuous statement about black face. No one screamed censorship since it was she was from the other side. Kimmel won’t last long for the above reasons. No one watches him.

  14. It seem to me that Google is way to pervasive. Not all their fault (Co-Conspirators) but that fact is if you want to do anything with your: Android Phone you need to login with a Google Account, If you want to Comment on Websites you need to login with a Google Account, If you want get to a Web Account (like LinkedIn) you need to login with a Google Account. They can literally track your moves (Maps), Handle your email and maintain a record your Free Speech. Yes the Co-Conspirators off you an alternate in most cases, but the point is you can not ‘live’ connected without encountering Google at some point.

Google knows all about you and your activities, no wounder they (and Others) want more Data Centers.
Antitrust Laws don’t address the saturation of Google’s system, it has become ’embedded’ into the fabic of Society. It’s the Antitrust of We the People … in the name of What?: Security? Privacy? Freedom? Money?
Is it worth it? The value of Yourself Integrity?

    1. You absolutely don’t HAVE to use any Google products if you don’t want to. Stop whining and exaggerating their presence. Many people like the cybersphere they’ve created. If you don’t like Google products, don’t use them.

      1. Chris, it was acknowledge that ‘You absolutely don’t HAVE to use any Google products if you don’t want to”,
re: “Yes the Co-Conspirators offer you an alternate in most cases,”

That said Chris: I challenge you to ‘Live without any or encountering any Google products or services for 1-Month’ .
Bet you can’t make it. ” Google is way to pervasive”…

        1. AND They’re are getting better at it with A.I. tech:

          Re:
Full Fine-Tuning vs LoRA vs RAG

All three are different ways of adapting a large pre-trained language model to new tasks or knowledge.

          1 – Full Fine-Tuning
The entire pre-trained model is retrained on new data. It means that all the weights of the network are updated, which gives high accuracy but requires more computing power and storage.

          2 – LoRA Fine-Tuning
LoRA stands for Low-Rank Adaptation. Instead of changing the whole model, the main weights are frozen, and only small additional layers are trained. This is much faster and cheaper than full fine-tuning while still adapting the model to new tasks.

          3 – RAG
RAG stands for retrieval-augmented generation. The model doesn’t retrain. Instead, it retrieves information from external sources (databases, web, documents, etc) whenever needed. The query is enhanced with relevant context before being passed to the model, making it more accurate and up-to-date without heavy retraining.

      2. It’s time high profile people patent and copyright their images , voices, and any references to their beinf in whole or in part. Musicians do. Every celebrity, official, public personality do so. It’ll be more difficult for the psyops if they do and less fraud.

    2. Rabble:
Go Unix/Linux. That’s the real only option if you want absolute control over what your computer does.

    3. Free enterprise and free market competition are always the answer; they are the only answer.

Communist “dictatorship of the proletariat (i.e. the hired help)” is insane, illegal, and unconstitutional.

Antitrust laws are just plain stupid and wholly unconstitutional.

You are at liberty to do as you wish; if you are dissatisfied with a product, create an improved version yourself; “go build a better mousetrap.”

Stop blaming others for your failures.

    4. “It seem to me that Google is way to pervasive.”

It’s getting worse, too. When I started using my phone about 3 years ago (yes, I refuse to join the stampeding lemmings who are gullible enough to believe they need to constantly upgrade their $1,000 Google honeypots) I was able to upload photos directly from phone storage to my PC, keeping Google out of the loop. Then I must have made one Android upgrade too many – that capability disappeared, forcing me to use Google Drive as intermediary storage to make the transfer. Which of course, due to Google’s onerous and abusive TOS, gives them open license to do whatever they damned please with my photo content.

      1. FYI: Try going to your Google account and turn off the link to Photos. Then go to your PC and login to Google and go to your account App manager and do the same. You’ll be surprised at how many of your app are there feeding the G system.

To stop Google Photos from linking to your Google Account, turn off the “Backup & sync” setting within the Google Photos app. Open the app, tap your profile picture, go to “Photos settings”, select “Backup & sync”, and then toggle the switch to turn it off. This action prevents new photos and videos from being automatically uploaded but does not delete existing ones from your cloud library

I really dislike how Google does this maneuver to. It ‘creeping into’ every corner of your life – Stealth Surveillance.

  15. Well despite Google and the rest of the censors, it remains that this here internet, is forever…

    Excerpt:

“Some pregnant liberal women are posting videos of themselves downing acetaminophen — commonly known as Tylenol — following the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) announcement on Monday in which President Donald Trump recommended pregnant woman limit intake of the drug due to possible associations with an “increased risk of autism.”

“Take it easy Big Joe, some of these people got sensitive feelings.”

  16. OT; It seems MAGA failed to learn it’s lesson. Immediately after a shooting at an ICE detention facility and one detainee killed and two injured. MAGA jumped into the blame game once again. Trying to blame the left and speculating about the motive behind the shooting.

The need for immediate blame and jump into conclusions, assumptions, and speculation before any, ANY facts or information comes out is crazy and unfortunately unsurprising. Will MAGA ever learn? Somehow I don’t think they ever will. But I have hope.

    1. No, georgie. it is the media that jumps into the blame game. and you eat it up, copycat and rephrase what media says, and spits it out as your own unique opinion and perspective. you fool no one, at least not on this site.

    2. X
Of course people are blaming the left – YOU are responsible.
There is no need to speculate as to motives

AGAIN the bullet casings have messages – these are anti-ICE.

Absolutely we should not rush to judgement – the odds of the assassin being on the left are high
and are likely to increase with each thing we learn – just as they did with the Kirk assassination.

We KNOW the motive – the Shell casings recoveed have “Anti-ICE” on them.
The assassin wanted to murder ICE agents.
But he shot into a enclosed van that had detainees in it and killed two of them and wounded another rather than ICE officers.

But if you want another reason it is on the left – no one in MAGA is going to seek to kill illegal immigrants already in ICE custody – those are leaving the country.

“The need for immediate blame and jump into conclusions, assumptions, and speculation before any, ANY facts or information comes out is crazy and unfortunately unsurprising.”
Correct – the left was STUPIDLY doing that with Kirk.
From the begining YOU constructed idiotic hypoheticals that tried to make the kirk assassination red on red – even though that was bat$shiff craxy.

Everyone rushed to judgement then as they are now.

But those on the right were correct – because the actual facts pointed in one direction.
And those on the left were wrong. because they tried to bend facts to fit ideology.

As you are trying to do now.

      “Will MAGA ever learn?”
They do not need to – they do not stupidly get things wrong all the time – like you.

Many have pointed out the long long list of lies the left has told.
But that list is also the long long list of things YOU have beleived that were false,
and that those on the right did not beleive and were correct about.

We quite litterally pay people enormous amounts of money to Jump to judgement – but only if they are consistently right.

      1. John Say,
Great comment and spot on!! Is it not interesting how with just a few facts, we can deduce the leanings of said shooter? It is almost like we have things like logic, reasoning, and common sense. Meanwhile, there are those who would question those facts in order to deflect, misinform, or spread misinformation.
To add as evidence to your comment, may I present,
How a conspiracy theory about Charlie Kirk’s killer being ‘MAGA’ spread online to Kimmel and beyond
        https://justthenews.com/accountability/media/how-conspiracy-about-charlie-kirk-shooter-being-rightwing-spread-online-kimmel?utm_source=referral&utm_medium=offthepress&utm_campaign=home

        1. Putting aside all the ‘left/right’ mumbo jumbo about the motive of Charlie Kirks assassin. ..

FBI Director Patel recently questioned pretty much all of the FBI ‘evidence’ lodged in the case so far; time, place, weapon, ‘miracle’ bullets- bullet impact, text messages, hand signals, etc., etc..

*Your honor, these are the facts .. . and they are not in dispute.

          1. “FBI Director Patel recently questioned pretty much all of the FBI ‘evidence’ lodged in the case so fa”
            Because you say so ?

You do not have enough credibility to make a naked claim about what someone else said.

Please provide accurate quotes in context.

            1. “We are examining every facet of this assassination,” FBI Director Patel said, before addressing some of the theories that have circulated in recent days.

“We are meticulously investigating theories and questions, including the location from where the shot was taken, the possibility of accomplices, the text message confession and related conversations, Discord chats, the angle of the shot and bullet impact, how the weapon was transported, hand gestures observed as potential ‘signals’ near Charlie at the time of his assassination, and visitors to the alleged shooter’s residence in the hours and days leading up to September 10, 2025.”

              1. As expected the quote does NOT say what you claim.

Patel’s statement is that the investigation is not over and that it will be thorough with nothing left to chance.

That is not questioning what is known.

            2. John Say

So the great, all knowing, all powerful Johnny Say is demanding evidence for an assertion.

Of course he has NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, provided any evidence for his outlandish and outrageous claims, which in reality are simply things he hears from the voices in his head.

              1. “Of course he has NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, provided any evidence for his outlandish and outrageous claims, which in reality are simply things he hears from the voices in his head.”

Frequently I do, but not always.
Nopt providing sources is the perogative of those who do not make false claims, and who correct errors when they do make them.

                It is called credibility.
It is called a reputation for truthfullness and accuracy
                It is called integrity

It is something you do not have – as evidenced by your remarks,
and can not have so long as you post anonymously.

You can not have a reputation as anonymous.

If you beleive some claim I have made is false – YOU can provide evidence.

The voices in my head are people like Adam Smith or Milton Friedman. or John Stuart Mill.
                Or other recognized geniuses

      2. John Say,

“ Of course people are blaming the left – YOU are responsible.
There is no need to speculate as to motives”

Again with the assumptions and speculation. I’m not surprised. No waiting for the facts. You immediately accuse ME of doing something I have not done. How am I responsible John? Have I called for violence against ICE? Politicians? What have I said that would make me responsible John? You realize that defamatory rhetoric on your part, right?

“ Absolutely we should not rush to judgement – the odds of the assassin being on the left are high
and are likely to increase with each thing we learn – just as they did with the Kirk assassination.

“ Absolutely we should not rush to judgement – the odds of the assassin being on the left are high
and are likely to increase with each thing we learn – just as they did with the Kirk assassination.

We KNOW the motive – the Shell casings recoveed have “Anti-ICE” on them.”

ROLF! John how did you contradict yourself so badly here? You say we “absolutely should not rush to judgemet” then proceed to absolutely rush to judgement. Wow.

“ Correct – the left was STUPIDLY doing that with Kirk.
From the begining YOU constructed idiotic hypoheticals that tried to make the kirk assassination red on red – even though that was bat$shiff craxy.”

John, John geez calm down. This is how you end up looking foolish.

The right got into the blame game immediately after Kirk’s death without even bothering to wait for the facts to come out. It didn’t turn out to be what they claimed. They were wrong. Now you’re gaslighting the left for the right’s hysteria and paranoia from rumors and speculation. You’re making my point John.

It’s obvious you’re emotionally compromised when the left is involved. You can’t think rationally because your animosity and rage towards the left seems to overwhelm you.

You are a mess. Rushing to judgement and then saying we shouldn’t be rushing to judgement. It’s almost as if you have a multiple personality disorder. Almost.

Now, I ask again. How am I responsible for what happened John? What did I say or do that made you believe that what happened my responsibility?

You know, It could also be ICE’s fault. Everyone is blaming the rhetoric and hateful comments toward ICE officers and law enforcement assisting. Their agressive tactics, callousness, indifference, menacing approach to apprehenstions, the masks and lack of accountability for violations of due process, etc.

The shootings could be a reaction to the extreme agressive actions of ICE. They are violent and cruel. The rhetoric coming from people like Kristi Noem, Homan, Miller is accusatory and very violent too.

Maybe ICE or DHS should approach apprehensions more humanely, respectful? But that’s not what Stephen Miller wants. He wants to treat illegal immigrants like animals and violent criminals. All of them. Perhaps that attitude is creating the atmosphere where some unstable individuals decide to take matters into their own hands.

        1. “Again with the assumptions and speculation.”
Not an assumption – initially I made an educated guess based on available evidence and was mostly correct.
Today we KNOW that Tyler Robinson was a left wing nut.
And it was well KNOWN before Kimmel idiotically blamed MAGA.

          “No waiting for the facts.”
The FACTS are out there – a long long list of them all pointing to Tyler Robinson is a left wing nut.

“You immediately accuse ME of doing something I have not done. ”
You have – you have defended this nonsense – you have obfucated, and you have lied.

“How am I responsible John? Have I called for violence against ICE? Politicians? What have I said that would make me responsible John? ”
You have said that words are violence.

Well guess what – if words are violence you can use actual violence in self defense.

Can those on the right go arround and murder you because of your words ?

“You realize that defamatory rhetoric on your part, right?”
It is not defamatory if it is true.
You are responsible for your own words and your lies.

“ROLF! John how did you contradict yourself so badly here? You say we “absolutely should not rush to judgemet” then proceed to absolutely rush to judgement. Wow.”
I did not “rush to Judgement” – though I did excercise good judgment based on the currently available evidence.

“John, John geez calm down. This is how you end up looking foolish.”
We already have evidence the TX ICE shooter is a left wing nut.

In theory it is possible that further evidence will alter that.
But the odds of that are less than 1 in 100.
Your betting on 1 – I am betting on the other 99.
Which of us do you really think is going to look bat$chiff crazy ?

“The right got into the blame game immediately after Kirk’s death”
For the most part they did not. Mostly they were shocked and mourned.
Most of the backlash against idiot left wing nuts who celebrated Kirks murder was from slightly less far to the left wing nuts at colleges and schools.

SOME – maybe many on the left realize this is WRONG, and this is a disaster.
That it is a really bad idea to speak ill of the dead before the funeral even.

“without even bothering to wait for the facts to come out. I”
The very first fact was that Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
That is all that anyone needs to know to place a 100:1 bet on – “it was a left wing nut”
The leaked shell casings came next – that made it 1 1000:1 bet.
Then parents and friends identified Robinson as a left wing nut – time to cash in winnings.

This is how critical thinking works in the real world.

One of the things I noted is that people get paid a fortune to “reach conclusions before all the facts are in”
But only if they are right – nearly all the time.
Warren Buffet would be a perfect example.
He is incredibly good at finding tiny clues that indicate what is happening that everyone else misses.
And he is one of the wealthiest men in the world because of that.

All of us make judgements about the future using limited information.

Some – like pretty much all of you on the left – make absymally poor judgements

Do I need to list all of the times you and your “experts” have been wrong ?

But worse still – like the Kirk assassination – you have been OBVIOUSLY wrong from the start.

No Putin did not conspire with Trump to get Trump – whose campaign promises were extremely bad for Russia, elected – rather than Hillary – who Russia had directly given 1/2 a million to recently and who oligarchs had given several hundred millions to, and whose campaign promises were GOOD for Russia.

Yet you sold that schiff to far too many people for years.

And yes I specifically mean YOU.
YOU are personally responsible for the lies you have told people.

Andf that is merely ONE of dozens of major issues that you have not only got wrong from the start but doubled down repeatedly on.
I have not heard you correct a single error you have ever made.
In many instances you are STILL shilling garbage that has been thoroughly debunked years ago.

“It didn’t turn out to be what they claimed. They were wrong.”
No – YOU were wrong – Robinson is a left wing nut – that door has closed.
If you are still saying that – we are past bad judgement, and into deliberate deceiptful lies.

“Now you’re gaslighting the left for the right’s hysteria and paranoia from rumors and speculation. ”
          The right is hysterical ?

AGAIN – within hours of Floyds death – the left was rioting, looting and burning down the country,
over the drug overdose death of a pathetic low level crook who ruined his own life and then accidentally killed himself. Those riots continued all summer.

Were is the rioting over Charlie Kirk ? What has been burned down ? Who on the right is looting over this ?

The only gaslighting – is YOURS – Robinson is a left wing nut.
The only post shooting violence and hysteria is YOURS.
Left wing nuts said the most despicable things about Kirk – and were fired by other slightly less left wing nuts.
Left wing nuts disrupted various Kirk memorials.
A heavily armed left wing nut tried to get into the Kirk Funeral where the president and vice president spoke – fortunately he was caught.

“It’s obvious you’re emotionally compromised when the left is involved. You can’t think rationally because your animosity and rage towards the left seems to overwhelm you.”
X, George, Dennis, whatever – I have been so overwhelmed with rage that – 99.99% of my initial speculation on dozens of major issues has proven TRUE for well over a decade.

Conversely you have been so rational that you have litterally been WRONG about pretty much everything.

Good luck is when you are right once. Being right much of the time is critical thinking. Being right nearly all the time is LITERALLY GENIUS.
Further it is pretty much by defintion the ability to make judgements based on FACTS not emotions.

Bad luck is when you are wrong once. being wrong much of the time is poor critical thinking skill. It is allowing your emotions to overrule your judgment. Being wrong all the time, just means you are a moron.

” How am I responsible for what happened John? ”
You are responsible for your words, and bad judgement and your errors.
You are responsible for LYING to much of the country.
You are responsible for CRAZY lying to much of the country.
And you are responsible for defaming much of the country – which has proven to have far better judgement than you.

You said I defamed you – absolutely I have repeatedly insulted you – you are about as near wrong 100% of the time as a human can be. That is pretty much the definition of a moron.
That is not some emotional response – that is a FACT – you pretty much NEVER get anything write,
          you never correct YOUR errors.

“What did I say or do that made you believe that what happened my responsibility?”
I have covered that again and again. But as is typical – you play WORD GAMES.

I have never accused YOU, or anyone but Tyler Robinson of Charlie Kirks murder.
But I and HALF the country was RIGHT when we claimed the assassin would be a left wing nut.
I have accused you – repeatedly of LYING – about Kirks assassin, about MAGA, about me, about – really pretty much everything you have ever said.

“You know, It could also be ICE’s fault.”
The ods that ICE shot these illegal immigrants from a neighboring building with a rifle through a closed van are about 1:1T

It is also possible the moon is made of green cheese.

Regardless, you are once again proving my point about your intellectual ability.

There are rare instances in which low odds possibilities prove true – that is why we have probability – not certainty. It is possible that if you drop a bowling ball from your roof, it will fall up.
But the odds against are astronomical.

Intelligent people do NOT jump to low probability conclusions. They do not even mention possibilities that have infinitesmal odds – that is called not wasting time and effort on the incredibly unlikely.
It is also called good judgement. Something you lack.

“Everyone is blaming the rhetoric and hateful comments toward ICE officers and law enforcement”
It is absoluely morally wrong for people to be engaged in hateful comments towards ICE officers.
If you do not like US immigration law – get it changed.
          That happens at congress.

J6ers were protesting a dubious election at the preminent free speech forumn in the world, and they were protesting to the only group of people who could legitimately do something about it.

Left Wing nuts are blaming everyone – including those merely doing their job – a job the majority of people want them to do.

“Their agressive tactics, callousness, indifference, menacing approach to apprehenstions, the masks and lack of accountability for violations of due process, etc.”

GOVERNMENT IS FORCE – if you do not want law enforcement to use FORCE to enforce the laws – do not make those laws.

NYC passed a law against selling lose cigarettes and Eric Garner who refused to comply with that law ended up DEAD.

Every single law that you pass – will result in the death of someone willing to completely disobeey that law no matter what, or it will result in not enforcing the law.
That is how law enforcement works.

There are 11-21M illegal immigrants who have come to the US in the past 4 years. there are likely 20-+ more who came in the past 2 decades. The law says they are to be aprehended and removed.

I am a strong supporter of getting rid of most of our laws. They are wrong and immoral and ineffectual.

BUT they are also ALL the law – If I choose to disobey the police are going to callously and indifferently and possibly agressively arrest me. That is how law works. It is NOT the job of a police officer to choose whether they like the law or not – if you want federal law changed – go to congress.

If you do not want police officers wearing masks – do not dox them and threaten them and their families.
If you are the person being arrested – they are obligated to provide notice they are a police officer.
At your arraignment – the arresting officer will have to identify themselves.

I would prefer that most officers were identifiable all the time.
But then I am not the one that started doxing them and threating them and their families.

The due process for jaywalking is minimal – all you have at risk is a small amount of mney.

The due process for deportation is minimal – are you the illegal immigrant named in the deportation order.
That is established by finger prints and DNA – that is all that is needed. Deportees are not being sent to prison – they are being sent HOME.

I am a gargantuan demander of due process. There have been few if any consequential violations of due process in these deportations.

I am also a huge supporter of immigration.
I would eliminate most of out immigration laws and replace them with any person organization, church, business can sponsor anyone they want for immigration. But sponsorship really means taking responsibility.

But that is not our current law, and no one is looking to change the law to what I want on this or many many other issues.

The rule of law means following the law that we have while working to change it.

But even the term “rule of law” is somewhat irrelevant.
What I have described is what actually works.
It has taken 10,000 years of trial and error and thought to come up with this.
It is how things are done because it is what works best.
We have tried other ways – they do not work as well.

“The shootings could be a reaction to the extreme agressive actions of ICE.”
That would still make the shootings criminal, vile and immoral.

“The rhetoric coming from people like Kristi Noem, Homan, Miller is accusatory and very violent too.”
I thought you said that you are not responsible for the violence of others because of your language.

If you say that the language of others is violence – then you are justifying violence against it.
That means you ARE responsible for the violence in response.

If you say Kirks words are violence – they YOU share some responsibility with the assassin for his killing.

“Maybe ICE or DHS should approach apprehensions more humanely, respectful?”

Quit playing games. ICE’s job is to remove illegal immigrants.
YOU do not want them to do so “gently” – that is a lie.
You want them to REFUSE to follow the law.

You take up changing the law with congress.

We have laws regarding the use of FORCE by law enforcement – we have laws against police brutality.
Are they being violated ? If so prosecute.

          ICE is doing its job.

One of the reasons that we MUST have few laws is specifically because the enforcement of laws is FORCE.

“Government Is Like Fire, a Dangerous Servant and a Fearful Master”

Do not pass a law unless you are willing to kill those who refuse to obey it no matter what.

If you say there is a limit to the amount of force law enforcement can use to enforce a law – then you have dictated that anyone willing to escalate beyond that level need not obey the law.

While we have rules for law enforcement that covers a gradual escalation of force.
Those laws DO NOT cap the use of FORCE – they can not and avoid lawlessness.

Do you have an example of ICE using excessive force under the circumstances ?
          I have not seen one.

“But that’s not what Stephen Miller wants.”
You keep trying to make everything about personalities.

“He wants to treat illegal immigrants like animals and violent criminals. All of them.”
They are in the US illegally – they are criminals. If that is their only crime it is a minor one – but they are still criminals. Further 70% of those deported this year have been violent criminals.

MOST Ice raids are going after violent criminals. Most of those deported who are NOT criminals were caught up in raids targetting criminals.

ICE does not raid a drug house with criminal illegals, and when it picks up an illegal just there to buy drugs say – oh, you are not a violent criminal, we will let you go.

“Perhaps that attitude is creating the atmosphere where some unstable individuals decide to take matters into their own hands.”

Again typical left wing nut. We do NOT run the entire country based on what might upset an unstable individual.

Your trying to manufacture a very weak justificatin defence for murder – and in the current instance the murder of people you did not intend to kill.

I do hold you fully responsible for defending lawless and violent action – and that DOES make you responsible for that action.

There is a world of difference between defending “We are going to fight Trump” – even when I think ou are wrong AND – the murder of ICE agents (or accidental murder of deporteee) is OK because I do not like the way ICE is enforcing the law.

If you say Tyler Robinson’s assassination of Kirk is justified that does make you culpable when others do the same thing.

While when you say Kirk is a hateful hating hater – you are wrong and immoral, but not responsible if others murder him.

When you attempt to justify assassination – you ARE culpable. Generally that is NOT unprotected speech – though it comes close. But it is radically different from my departure from Turley over whether rage rhetoric cases political violence.

Justifying criminal conduct is beond rage rhetoric and YOU ARE partly responsible for what follows.

          1. When John Say is called out on his false claims the longer his reply is. He believes he does not have to provide evidence, sources, or provide quotes backing up his claims because he’s never wrong and everything he says is the truth. Uh huh. His credibility is no better than everyone else’s here.

John, you’re insane. You’re the one playing word games when you are called out for making crazy and nonsensical claims. You cannot avoid long drawn out rants to “prove a point”. You’re as emotionally triggered as Stever Witherspoon except you use 1000 words to obfuscate and blather on about how bad the left is.

    4. “The need for immediate blaming, jumping to conclusions, assuming, and speculating before ANY facts or information come out”…. is the specialty of mainstream media (CNN, MSNBC, NYT, WAPO, etc., etc., etc.), and this is how they have radicalized so many leftist simps, from the purple-haired young “teachers” to the blue-haired old hippies.

Will conservatives ever learn? We have, and now that we have determined to give as good as we get, you now, you have lessons to teach and award yourself te higher ground so preposterously….

Your accusations are too rich for the low standards you hold, considering you and your comrades routinely use language beyond reasonable limits, with terms like dictator, Nazi, fascist, No-Kings, racist, and yadda, yadda, yadda. Get off it.

  17. Trump struggled to pronounce acetaminophen.
For others with the same problem, here is a hand guide.

    How to pronounce acetaminophen:

    ree-LEESE thuh EPP-steen FYLES

    1. “It’s not news that Epstein knew Donald Trump, because Donald Trump kicked Epstein out of his club for being a creep,”

Bill might have a problem with the Epstein files getting released. Bill Gates might too as well as a lot of other rich, powerful people world wide.
Flight logs show Bill Clinton flew on sex offender’s jet much more than previously known
“Former President Bill Clinton was a much more frequent flyer on a registered sex offender’s infamous jet than previously reported, with flight logs showing the former president taking at least 26 trips aboard the “Lolita Express” — even apparently ditching his Secret Service detail for at least five of the flights, according to records obtained by FoxNews.com.”

      1. “Former President Bill Clinton … taking at least 26 trips aboard the “Lolita Express” …”
Can you blame him? Having to snuggle with Hillary is a fate worse that Lethal Injection.
Seriously, if you gave a Prisoner on Death Row the choice of being put into a cage with Hillary for 48 hrs. or Lethal Injection,
They would pick Lethal Injection every time.

    2. You do not want the epstein files released – they wont say anything you want – if they did they would have been leaked long ago.

    1. Presumably, Sundar Pichai and Google didn’t go as far afield as the CCP official referenced above.
      Very FUNNY🤣🤣🤣

BUT, America is a VERY FORGIVING country, and this is especially true if the offending party makes amends and pledges to never repeat the misconduct, like Google has.

In our country, the greatest country on planet Earth, we prove to ourselves and the word, that there is hope for all of us to clean up our act and get straight, no matter how evil the offense.

    2. Evidently, unrestrained capitalism (i.e. £324m corruption case) is a greater threat to the CCP than it is to Washington, D.C.

We don’t execute our corrupt officials.. . for the most part, we re-elect them.

*in any case, ‘corruption’ is threat to the free market. .. and free speech,
