“We Don’t Want his Likeness on Campus”: Protesters Move to Block Kirk Memorial at UVU

A plan at Utah Valley University (UVU) to create a memorial to Charlie Kirk has been met by protests and a petition signed by thousands to block the effort. One protester declared, “We don’t want his likeness on campus.” That is hardly a new sentiment since Kirk was assassinated on the campus on Sept. 10, 2025. However, the protest shows the sense of license that many have in opposing anyone with conflicting views, including those represented in memorials.

I have a long history with UVU and was pleased to receive the Madison award from the university, and was declared an honorary faculty member years ago. It is a wonderful academic institution with a growing and vibrant intellectual community.

It was, therefore, particularly shocking to see that UVU was the scene of the assassination of Kirk and then to watch this protest over an effort to memorialize the advocate for free speech.

The UVU Students for a Democratic Society led the protests this week. One student, Collin Grannis, told KSTU, “We don’t want his likeness on campus; we don’t want his likeness sort of immortalized.”

Student Abagael Woods added, “For one thing, it’s going to get vandalized — there’s no way it’s not. And it’s going to re-traumatize a bunch of people.”

The suggestion that the school should not memorialize a victim of a criminal act due to the threat of additional criminal acts is chilling. It is not clear who would be “re-traumatized.” Some said that they were being traumatized by Kirk’s appearance at the school.  For supporters of Kirk, the argument that they should be protected from the trauma of further criminal acts is menacing and mendacious.

Woods reportedly recommended a “memorial for unity” like therapy dogs on campus. Presumably, no one would dare to spray paint or shoot a therapy dog.

Many, however, feel the same license to destroy memorials to Kirk around the country.

The protestors’ campaign has drawn significant online support, with an anti-memorial petition surpassing 15,000 signatures. Meanwhile, a competing petition in favor of the memorial has gathered more than 21,000 signatures.

Over 15,000 people have signed the petition, declaring that “[Kirk’s] words and actions caused pain and division, and we cannot ignore the impact of his negativity.” Kirk’s support for the Second Amendment is cited as one of the reasons to block any memorial. Instead, the petition declares, “our hearts ache for the countless children who have tragically lost their lives to gun violence in schools. Their memories deserve to be honored with dedicated memorials, serving as a constant reminder of the urgent need for change.”

The suggestion of possible criminal acts in response to the memorial should only reinforce the commitment of the university to create it. Critics can then enlist as many therapy dogs as are necessary to deal with it, but they should be expelled if they attempt to deface it.

None of this is particularly surprising, but it is depressing. It is a sad statement on the views of many that they cannot, even as critics of Kirk, support a memorial to express the deep sadness over his murder on their campus. Kirk was someone who invited debate and fought for a diversity of opinion on campuses. Yet, even his memorial is now the subject of a cancel campaign.

  1. You must be kidding! You mentioned two petitions but have linked only one, that being the Anti Kirk one. What the heck.

  2. Those who are threatening to vandalize and deface the proposed memorial should be put on notice that they will be arrested and punished for their criminal acts.

    1. Is the “we” person brave enough to stand aline and defend the pisition or just another coward hiding behind a mask and a chant?

  3. Some here are making sport of UVU, with gems like this: “It has a 100% acceptance rate.”

UVU is an open admissions university, like some 50 other colleges in the country, and like the vast majority of community colleges.

Their virtue is price, proximity, access, a second chance for those who didn’t take high school seriously or are going to college after years of work. Open admissions colleges are often used as a stepping stone to a more prestigious institution, to graduate school, and for vocational training.

Before you mock UVU and its open admissions, look up the name Craig Venter or one of the other countless, highly successful people who got their start at an open admissions college. If research is too much effort, try Steve Jobs.

        1. Democrats are always playing the victim card. And it’s always their own poor choices that get them into the position of having to cry and screem victim hood in the first place.

The worst thing a person can do is lie to themselves.

Democrats have been lying to themselves for so long now that they no longer know lies from truth.

          1. You are correct. The majority of Democrats is ignorant about many things. May each one find the truth….and God before it is too late

        2. Lefties make the best mean intolerant cowards when it comes to any debate about their hate & deception habits or their toxic marxist ideas.

        3. Anyone who opposes a memorial honoring a person who was murdered espousing ideas and debate is sub human and does not deserve the common courtesy from the rest of us.

        4. Love how the dbags and their antiAmerican agenda that led to his murder get to play the f-ing victim. Gtfoutta here with that bs

    1. It, by all appearances, should change its name to SCU. SNOWFLAKE CENTRAL UNIVERSITY. If this is the next generation we are putting our hope in we are in real trouble.

    2. Steve Jobs went to Reed College a very expensive private school then dropped out when he could no longer afford the tuition. His brief coursework at De Anza CC in Silicon Valley had nothing to do with building Apple-that was due to his partner Steve Wozniak one of the least-appreciated but most formidable intellects of our time. He designed circuits on his own when typically this task is done by teams. Bizarre but little-known anecdote is how Jobs stiffed Wozniak out of a few thousands in fees earned early in their partnership result was Woz could not afford the most powerful microprocessor then available, he had to use the next-down cheaper model and result was the early Apple PCs ran SLOWER than they could have if he had been given his equal share! Woz found out about this years later and was a factor in souring their relationship. Woz never had much to do with Apple after the Mac era. Woz also famously said “the only safe computer is one that NOT plugged in” and predicted the meltdown of the “cloud” being promoted by everybody in the industry as the Final Solution. Uh-Oh.

      1. Jobs’ “brief coursework at De Anza CC in Silicon Valley had nothing to do with building Apple . . .”

Really. What courses did he take?

You describe his time (two semesters) at De Anza as “brief.” Yet you do *not* describe his time (one semester) at Reed as brief. I wonder why that is.

You devalue Jobs’ time at De Anza. Perhaps you will place a greater value on Wozniak’s time there as a student.

While you’re dumping on De Anza, you might want to consider the fact that in 1984, the Macintosh was introduced on that campus.

      1. “When it was Steve Wozniak who was the technical genius who designed the early hardware?”

Some of you are really confused about how products make it in the marketplace.

A technical marvel without an entrepreneur (in this case, Jobs) is merely a curiosity.

The irony here is that Wozniak also attended De Anza College (a community college).

    3. I attended the school and can tell you it’s one of the dumbest student bodies in the country. It really is. Of course I include myself.

  4. We – many of the american people do not wish to fund the education of far left wing nuts who assassinate people they disaree with and then $hit on them.

Lets move the memorial to Kirk elsewhere – along with all federal and state funding for the college.

    1. Diversity (i.e. bloc ideologies), DEIsm (i.e. institutional, systemic Diversity), and entertaining abortive ideation are a toxic ensemble of disordered minds.

  5. Kirk rarely participated in debates. What he did do was have people pre-interview those children he allowed to the microphone, got his arguments in advance from the spotters, and then lied his way through by his taking over and making a speech. When he said “you may be thinking…” he apparently knew that because the assistants told him what the children had said.

He was slick, a snake-oil salesman using the Bible as a bludgeon without concern for the contents. He was only interested in free speech as a wedge to get into places that his arguments would be rejected from were he to put them to the page. His attempt at a book about how college is a scam has virtually vanished from the public eye, having no compelling evidence. His main goal in getting to those places was to be paid the $80 Million a year by billionaires to undermine society, some of which is claimed to have paid for actors to work his appearances and pave the way via TP-USA.

See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_qjYK5ugFU “How Charlie Kirk Always “OWNED The Libs” (And How 1 Student EXPOSED His Entire System) “

    1. Says you. Anyone can make up a story. It looks like you have had practice. Libs like you can’t stand to be proven wrong, as Charlie did to so many of you. That’s because you are so wrong. You have to be retarded to be a Liberal. Hence the moniker “Libtard”. I took that and changed one letter, making it a much better description: Libturd

      1. Charlie Kirk wanted to be martyr. That’s what Christianity is all about right? Sacrificing oneself in the hope of being made a saint. So conservatism is a religion, just like liberalism.
Hopefully more conservatives want to be saints. Have a plaque placed in the ground so people can walk on it.

        1. Dont worry, America will erase you soon enuff, and we will walk and spit on ur grave u miserable pos.

        2. I’m praying you will think about what you write and someday realize your total ignorance and seek guidance.

    2. “. . . those children . . .”

      Nice fabrication.

They weren’t “children.” They were young adults (college students).

The rest of your smear is equally accurate.

      1. As was Charlie Kirk, he was 34 at the time of his murder. That’s well within the age range of most Universities. Charlie was in his mid twenties while creating TPUSA and conducted many of his “prove me wrong “ interviews. Contrary to our local idiot, Charlie didn’t subjugate anyone and he wasn’t a racist, he was respectful and kind and a Christian. He believed the way to mutual agreement was free and open discussion. I hope he gets his memorial, he gave hiis life for it.

    3. The TDS is strong in this one.

You are aware that Kirk participlated in debates at Oxford.

Do you think that Oxford University preselected the stupidest left wing nuts to debate him ?

Nor is embarassing left wing nuts in public debate anything new.

Milton Friedmans was doing it from the 60’s until his death.

Your claim that somehow these debates were rigged is correct – but not in the way you claim.
Kirk did not need nobel winning intellectual skills to win a debate against left wing nuts living in a bubble.
He needed the physical courage to continue to do so despite threats and violence.

Look arround HERE or any other public forumn for debate. Left wing nuts LOSE near universally.
You LOSE even in left wing forumns with left wing nut hosts, and left win nut moderators.

I do not think Kirk was a particularly brilliant debator.

The REAL Truth about Kirks debates is that he continued to come to colleges to debate AFTER the lefts violence and threats of violence had driven out most others. AFTER Yanopolis, or Murray, or McDonald, or Shapiro or a while army of others decided their personal safety was more important than public debate – Kirk kept comming – and ultimately paid the price for that.

Lets assume for the sake of argument that your claims are True. Left wing nuts – knowing DAYS in advance that Kirk was coming prepared their arguments. Then what 5 minutes ? 15 ? and Hour ? before getting a microphone “spotters” forwarded their arguments to Kirk – who at the time was speaking, and concurrentl;y with finishing the rest of his speech he was able to take that tiny bit of time to prepare devastating rebutals to arguments prepared days in advance ?

That is your stupid claim that these debates were rigged ?

Aside from being an absurdley stupid claim that you clearly did not bother to think through.
It does NOT alter the premise that Left wing nuts STILL LOST the debates to Kirk.

Just as left wing nuts have been losing these debates my entire life.

I would further note that a prepared debate with Charlie Kirk is a fair fight – except that left wing nut ideas are so disasterously stupid.
With all respect – Kirk is NOT an intellectual giant.

Milton Friedman conducted similar discussions for decades, decades ago – and those were NOT fair fights. Not only were the less malignant ideas of the left at that time intellectual garbage. But Friedman was not just a genius but a nobel prize winning one.

Regardless your whole Argument is idiocy – the intellectual debate over the idiotic ideas of the left was resolved intellectually before Charlie Kirk was Born.

The disaster that is marxism, communisism, socialism even socialism light, that is class nonsense or modern derivative intersctional and victim based nonsense was resolved more than 60 years ago. Socialism LOST the economic calculation debate in the 40’s and 50’s. It lost it both intellectually and in practice in the real world.

There is an excellent PBS/BBC series that is still available for free called “The commanding heights:the battle for the world economy” that despite PBS/BBC’s left wing nut bent conclusively demonstrates that Statism in ALL FORMS failed in the 20th century.

I and myriads of others here will be happy to have an actual debate with you on nearly any terms on the issue of your choosing.
Because your trying to re-litigate a battle that was long ago lost.

    4. BS. Does peddling such lies help you cope with the fact that Kirk handily dispatched you Marxist lemmings because your ideology is single ply toilet paper? I out debate every lib pos I come across, because you aren’t grounded in reality.

    5. I watched the clip you referenced. First, Americans don’t really care what some chubby Brit says about his interpretation of the Bible or his opinions of Charlie, and second, he spent the entire time attempting to explain – in futility – what Charlie was doing rather than what he was saying, when just allowing the debate to be watched was what we wanted. Big failure.

    6. Weird, that sounds just like how an interview of a Democrat politician is handled.
Are you sure you didn’t get that out of the democrat interview handbook?

    7. Allegations are never evidence … except to lefties.
Reality is lefty ideas are bad are toxic are divisive are wasteful etc…

    8. Note: an old marxist tactic is to accuse your enemy of what you and yours do!
Lefties have no better ideas so deception and hate rule and fuel their angry lives.

Notice lefties run from questions and call you potty mouthed names… why is that so common? BAD IDEAS ARE HARD TO SELL … good ideas sell themselves and invite debate.

    9. Calling Charley Kirk slick, a snake-oil salesman and use of the Bible as a bludgeon is the exact short-sighted mind of leftist that will ultimately cause the Democratic party to be demolished from within. The ideology of others in open debate and free speech is pointless without civility.

    10. You are a sick and demented person. For your sake, I hope you find the help you so obviously and desperately need.

    11. College IS a scam. One of the most outrageous scandals of US history is how “higher education” marketed itself fueled by easy credit terms arranged by Dem pols like the Clintons. Rate of return on generic degrees collapsed in the 70s as documented by Richard Freeman’s “The Over-Educated American” (1976) and “The Case Against College” about the same time. Lester Thurow published in 1979 showing it was only a 50/50 bet that degrees were worth the investment. Now millions stagger under debt they can’t repay because they can’t make enough money to pay it back. Pols like BIDEN fixed it so they can’t get out under it through bankruptcy. Find ONE Econ Dept that stdies rate of return on education “investment” there isn’t one. The Fed Reserve does publish a state “underemployment” that is never reported on the news. It’s 50% for many degree fields. Higher ed says “now what you need is a Master’s!” This is not to even address the ongoing outrage of the B-1 Visa imports displacing US citizens also not studied by economists. Here is the ONLY academic to do so: https://heather.cs.ucdavis.edu/h1b.html

    12. So college kids are now children? Charlie started debating them when he was their age at 18, but you forgot to mention that part. You are a lying loser. Cant wait to clean America of bolshevik scumbags like you when we finally get to play Cowboys vs commies with pos like you.

    13. Let’s say you’re absolutely right with your analysis of the “snake-oil” salesman. In fact it’s worse and his entire life was a made-up production, his children are fake, Ericka is a hired Hollywood actor. Why in God’s name would anyone do that. To what end? I know you don’t actually believe anything that you wrote but let’s say some do. Is that somehow an offense so egregious that it calls for cold blooded pre-meditated murder?

    14. This conspiracy theory sounds far-fetched. No conservative needs “spotters” or “preplanning” to debate a young libtard.

  6. I can only lament that UVU does not have a satellite campus in Los Angeles. Matriculating at UVU-LA would be cool.

    1. How could anyone oppose a memorial for a learned man came to UVU to talk with students and was murdered for his beliefs.

  7. This column is like the column yesterday. Both are about the fear of the American Left in facing any dissent. They feel fear because they have been nurtured in an atmosphere of mindless intellectual conformity. They have no idea of how to respond to different viewpoints. To protect their intellectual emptiness, they push away any kind of political difference by means of ridicule, mockery, slander, economic sanction or actual violence. This will be true as long as high schools and colleges remain left-wing echo chambers, as long as leftists themselves remain hollow men and women.

  8. Liberals cannot allow someone like Kirk to go around telling the truth, ruins their cartoonish evil plans for world domination.
I for one find it awesome that all these commies are exposing themselves now, like when the bad guy takes too long telling his evil plans to the hero.
Sorry commi…er, “Democratic Socialists of America”, Trump said “America will never be a socialist country” and so it shall remain safely in the hands of freedom loving individuals and the murderous mob can eat justice in our land of laws.

      1. Harvard rep grads can’t out-think a bunch of errant children like Greta Thunberg? WTH are you worth? Republicans can’t out think the decked out jasmine cricket? SERIOUSLY?

Mangione plans to be a big man in hell? Call out Marshall law. Mamdani and he’s going to open a grocery store? Show me one he’s opened? Shouldn’t you elect a Aldis , Kroger manager instead? Walmart?

As to the WH, DJT said it would touch the WH not the east wing. The east wing isn’t the WH. It’s now a separate structure for the 1st ladies offices because they do so much? The WH is a quaint cottage.

Yes, construct the Kirk memorial , maybe a nice plaque to the 1st amendment. Kirk was a Constitutionalist, a soldier.

  9. The Nazi’s did not want to memorialize the Holocaust either.

What left wing nut students at UVA want is about as relevant as What Bull Conners of the KKK might want regarding memorials to Civil rights.

Yes, it is likely to be vandalized – Further demonstrating the need for such a memorial.

UVA students need to be reminded of what their hatred lead to

  10. Well, if the gov’t stays shut down, we may have a civil war in some places. People are threatening violence if the benefits are not there. Some states are already promising to fund the EBT cards, but not all of them. FWIW:

GeorgeX, you Democrat Kluxxer commie: what makes you assume all of your fellow rage-filled Democrat commies named above must be black Americans – not as white as you and your Kluxxer sheets? You’re trying to re-create them as the Darkies you want ethnically cleansed from Democrat America!

And does this mean that your intersectional, bi-racial long distance love affair with the woman you named a brilliant journalist, the black American Black Liars & Marxists’ propagandist, Stacey Patton, is now over?

My first impulse would be to free all the slaves, and send them to Liberia, to their own native land. [Should freed blacks be made] politically and socially our equals? My own feelings will not admit of this, and [even] if mine would, we well know that those of the great mass of white people will not … We can not, then, make them equals.”

      – Abraham Lincoln, Peoria, Illinois, October 16, 1854,

    3. EBT, SNAP, WIC, and the entire welfare state are unconstitutional. Congress has no power to tax for or fund food stamps and all the other “free stuff” per Article 1, Section 8. Congress has no power to tax for or fund charity. Where the —- is the Supreme Court? Certainly justices can read, can’t they? They must believe themselves dictators.

    4. “People are threatening violence if the benefits are not there. ”

According to what I read elsewhere (ZeroHedge, iirc) this morning, the Polymarkets bet tracker is making the odds of a resolution to the budget impasse before SNAP funds are exhausted to be in the low single digits. My expectation is that Republicans in Congress will find some way to cave before that happens, then desperately try to spin that action to their supporters as a win of some kind. I hope I am wrong, I’d like to see them have the cajones to stick to their guns for once. Hmmm… Does a sentence containing a direct reference to “cajones” and an indirect reference to Mike Johnson formally qualify as an oxymoron ;-?

      It is that they won’t.

  11. “[UVU] is a wonderful academic institution with a growing and vibrant intellectual community.”
Well obviously, all evidence to the contrary notwithstanding.

    1. Very good point.
UVU is about as far from a diverse, vibrant, intellectual community as you can possibly get. Indeed it would be the exact antithesis of a vibrant intellectual community.
It has a 100% acceptance rate. No one has EVER been denied admission. The average acceptance rate across the country is around 70%.
The graduation rate is 46%, and believe it or not that is an 8 year graduation rate. They are actually bragging about this “historically high” 8 year graduation rate, because in 2019 it was only 37%. Just think about that. Only a little over one third of students graduated and on average they took 8 years to reach graduation.
And believe it or not, they have just announced a “goal” of an eight-year graduation rate of 50% by 2030.

A vibrant, intellectual community they are most definitely NOT !!!!!

      https://www.uvu.edu/news/2024/02/2024_02_14_graduation.html

      1. So basically UVU is basically Dimwit University.
Obviously why Kirk went there and why he felt quite at home.

      2. Liberty University is over 90% acceptance rate and around 40% graduation rate, to compare to a conservative institution.

      3. “And believe it or not, they have just announced a “goal” of an eight-year graduation rate of 50% by 2030.”

So, it’s a glorified community college (or perhaps even lower on the scale)?

      4. “And believe it or not, they have just announced a “goal” of an eight-year graduation rate of 50% by 2030.”

A glorified community college (and that might be over-rating them).

  12. “If not [Charlie Kirk] then who? And if not now, when?”

    – Ronald Reagan, Commemorating the 200th Anniversary of the British Surrender at Yorktown, Virginia, September 14, 1981

  13. I miss the chick here who did limericks. Because this Charlie Kirk uber-reaction needs poetry. I am not as talented as she was, but I will try to fill the gap!

    Blue Scream Of Death???

There once was a Martyr named Kirk –
Whose death made the Left go berserk!
    They cheered and they raved-
    And p!ssed on his grave,
    And generally acted the jerk!

  14. I trust that each and every name on that list protesting a Kirk Memorial is being preserved. When those on that list apply anywhere for employment, it should be noted they are, or were, potential intolerant left-wing radicals, which should justify their being rejected by most employers.

    1. I don’t think that’s the snswer either. When you’re twenty if you’re not a liberal you have no heart, when you’re thirty and you’re a liberal you have no brain! Give them time, a great change has happened. Our youth is soft, they have been given everything, the seeds of chaos have been sown, we have a first generation of immigrant children. They hate us but they love us, give them guidance and time to grow.

      1. The modern left is not liberal – they are woke progressives it is RADICALLY different.
Turley was and remains a liberal – regardless of what left wing quacks here say of him.
He is not and never was a progressive.
What is different today is that he is far more aware of the difference.

        Woke progressivism is cancerous.

Liberalism is an understandable somewhat altruistic ideology held mostly by those who have never had to pay the cost of those values.
Liberalism is absent the hatred and idiocy that is evidence among woke progressives.

        1. “Turley was and remains a liberal ”

Only in comparison to the goose-steppers on the Right. Turley is very far right of center. The entire point of the difference is that conservatives want to keep everything the same as it was the ink was drying on the Constitution, slavery included, and liberals want society to progress.

          1. ” Turley is very far right of center.”
            ROFL

All you are demonstrating is tha tyou live in a bubble.

Not Turley is not fr right of center, he is not even right of center.
            Turley is center left.

“The entire point of the difference is that conservatives want to keep everything the same as it was the ink was drying on the Constitution”

Aside from the hyperbole that is close to correct

            Conservatism is NOT an ideology.
It is an observation fo the FACT that 90% of new ideas FAIL.
This is why efforts to improve the human condiction MUST nearly in their entirety originate OUTSIDE of govenrment.
It is why government MUST be minimal and limited.

If a business fails – that is not the end of the world.
Small or large the impact of failure – and there is a MASSIVE amount of failure in our efforts to improve the human condition
are small and mostly confined to those who CHOSE to take a risk in the hopes of great reward if they succeeded.

Conservatism is NOT an ideology. It is merely the CORRECT understanding that the overwhelming majority of new ideas FAIL.

The good news is that despite a massive rate of failure – the rewards of success are sufficient that people keep trying and often succeed and are rewarded for doing so.

The uber wealthy that the left loves to vilify are those that despite long odds have succeeded OVER and OVER amd OVER again.
Once can be luck. Maybe twice. But the success that people like Bezos and Musk and Buffet and Trump manage is NOT luck.

          2. With respect to the constitution as well as ALL LAW,

The rule of law – rather than the Rule of MAN requires that the law MUST be understood exactly as it was whn “the ink dried”

That does NOT require that we are stuck with what people dead for two centuries created.
The last change to the constitution was made in 1992, more than 200 years after the constitution was written.
The possibility of slavery was written out of the constitution in 1869 with the ratification of the 14th amendment.

Writing the constitution was HARD, Ratifying the constitution was HARD. Amending the constitution is HARD.

The concept that change to govenrment should be HARD – isolated from the political winds and whims of the moment – that is precisely what conservatism is.

Conservatism is NOT an ideology. It is the incorporation into our political processes of safeguards against ill thought out change driven by emotion and whim.

Those of you and the left are free to do the hard work to change the constitution – with the assurance that if you are able to do so, that it will be very hard to undo the changes that you have fought so hard for.

At the same time – if you FAIL to make the changes you desire – that is a GOOD thing not a bad one, it is evidence that you could not mat the argument for their necessity with sufficient strength to complete a deliberately difficult process.

The fundimental problem with the left is that it does NOT accept that it is obligated to PROVE the merits of its ideas as required to incorporate them into the “rule of law”.

I would further note – it should NOT be surprising that change to law and govenrment should be incredibly rare, and difficult.

The purpose of government has not changed in thousands of years.

While there have been MASSIVE societal changes int he past 500 years.
There have been very very very few changes to the core negative morality that is the foundation for govenrment.

“Thou shalt not Kill” is a principle of law millenia old.

Not just the core but really the entirety of the social contract is little changed in the past 2000 years.

Government exists for a few specific purposes.
To punish those who initiate force against others as the means of acheiving their goals.
I would note for those on the left there is NO exception to this that allows for the use of force to accomplish goals that YOU beleive are meritorious.
To defend the nation from those who would destroy it through force.
            To enforce voluntary agreements.
To require that those who ACTUALLY harm others make them whole.

That and the systems necescary to accomplish that are the social contract obligations of government.

All else we are free to accomplish – or fail at on our own.
And the evidence is that the more freedom we have to do so, the better off we ALL are.

      2. We need more wars. Draft these punks and make Marines out of them. They’ll come back with a different attitude.

    2. Anon, you make a point as the anti American sentiment is identified in this little burg. A cell of hate has established itself at this college and gathered signatures. The list can be examined for students. The students cross referenced for clubs, activism etc.

Put up a statue like a lightening rod it’ll be attacked. The expell. A careful investigation and surveillance of the identified will be done.

I doubt the true instigators signed anything nor are they students.

It’s Biblical NT prophecy- we see darkly through a glass but then face-to- face. Those who hate you show their faces. Moslems hate you and Israel, blacks hate you, lgbt hate you, migrants hate you.

Kirk is a lightening rod as is DJT. Some of the students fear the lightening and the unrest it brings. They signed the petition, too.

      1. ^^^ Then expell.

It’s contagious and a waste of time, money and lives. Root it out or be lazy and don’t.

    3. I was thinking more in terms of who on the list was either illegal, on a wanted poster or not even a student at UVU.

  15. So Anonymous the know it all now tells us that Charlie Kirk was not assassinated and that no babies were killed in the Hamas attack on Jews. Given a chance I’m convinced that she would waste no time in denying that the Holocaust ever happened. So the killing of Jewish children was not done by racist but the open and free discussion by Charlie Kirk was somehow racist. On many occasions she has downplayed the racism illustrated by the mass murder of Jews by Hamas. Somehow she thinks that we should believe her when she says that someone is a racist. ANTIFA is an organization and we have one of it’s members posting right here on this forum many many times per day. Oh goody goody. A Jew hater who tells us all about racism. We do oh do so appreciate your vast wisdom Anonymous.

    1. Your garbled, irrational, nonsensical, disconnected thoughts suggest that you might be having a stroke.
I suggest you go to the ER immediately.

      1. Anonymous, I simply restated all the positions that you have openly expressed on this forum. If anyone wants to research the archives of your post it’s all there for those who wish to see.
I’ve asked you on many occasions to denounce the killing of children during the Hamas attack and not once could you bring yourself to admit that it happened. Since you won’t do so, short of that, I ask you to at least admit that the Holocaust happened. We all know that you will never respond concerning the murders of millions of Jews. Indeed on occasion my words mat be poorly written or garbled. I make no claim madam to be a perfect author. On the other hand you have made clear that you are a racist Jew hater who refuses to admit that Jewish children were viscously murdered during the Hamas raid. It’s not difficult. Just admit that the Jewish children were murdered and that the Holocaust was an actual historical occurrence. You won’t do either of these things because your racist hatred dwells so deeply in a heart of stone. Garbled enough for you.

      2. ATS – TiT’s remarks are accurate. they are not garbles, they are very rational, they are not disconnected.

It is the pathological ideology of the modern left that is irrational.

You can oppose what the IDF has done in Gaza – but not without also opposing what the US did in Afghanistan and Iraq.

But the pervasive woke left nonsense that Hamas is not an evil cancer is idiotic.

I am hard press to think of an ideolgoy that pretends to be able to bring Hamas and the LGBTQ+ community under the same roof.

There is not a conservative in the country – there is not even a white supremecist in the country that would wipe out the entire LGBTQ community.
Those of you on the modern left have no business attacking ANYONE as irrational.
Nor is that the only massive contradiction in left wing nut ideology.

        1. John Say the Stupid

The only reason that you find TiT’s comments to be just fine is because your comments are equally garbled, irrational, nonsensical, and disconnected.
Birds of a feather as they say.

          1. Ano

So funny, is that the best retort you’ve got?

Speaking of stupid. Try and better response to John instead of these hight school put downs.

          2. Then you would be able to demonstrate so with actual arguments of your own – rather than spraying us all with fallacies, nonsense and insults.

        2. Imagine craving attention so much you’ll behave or conduct yourself as such with robbery and murder?

        3. Is there evidence that the US used forced marches and starvation as weapons against the civilian population in Afghanistan? Did the US concentrate on destroying hospitals and schools and housing after telling the Taliban fighters of their plans in advance in order to ensure the fighters could escape?

So far Israel has dropped the equivalent explosive output as 13 X Hiroshima on a portion of land not much larger than Hiroshima was. It looks like they won’t stop and might accelerate as no hostages are endangered by further killing of civilians.

Still going without a spelling checker?

          1. “forced marches…” You sound like a moron. Gaza is 25 miles long.
“explosive output as 13 X Hiroshima…” A number drawn from thin air and wrong. But for the most part, the occupants were advised to leave the area before the bombings occurred.

The writer proves he is a fabricator and a liar without substance behind his claims. One cannot believe any anonymous figures. They have no proven credibility.

  16. In Other Future News: “President Trump Opens New White House Ballroom By Grabbing Electric Guitar and Cranking out AC/DC Song”
    ~+~
Dateline: March 25th, 2026. At the beginning of the opening ceremony of the newly constructed White House Ballroom, President Trump brought the house down. After giving a short speech, the president took out a Fender guitar hidden behind the podium, and with a smirk of pride, jammed out a familiar tune of the rock band AC/DC.

      1. *. Regarding the Kirk memorial, what is the constitutional question here? Two sides of an issue have petitioned. The anti Kirk people are doing their usual loud and illiterate protest thing.

A cell of hate and destruction has also been identified at UVU.

        RIP Mr. Kirk.
