“I am Going to Kill Donald Trump”: Ohio Attorney General Candidate Runs on Rage

In my book on our age of rage I explore how rage is addictive and contagious. What people do not want to admit in places like Minneapolis is that they like it, they need it. Politicians know that. Even after Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones was shown to have threatened to kill his political opponents and their children, other Democratic leaders continued to support him and he was elected to the highest law enforcement position in the state. Now, Ohio Democratic Attorney General candidate Elliot Forhan appears to be attempting to ride the same rage wave in a video in which he says, “…I am going to kill Donald Trump.”

A video is making rounds on X in which Forhan says, “I am going to obtain conviction, rendered by a jury of his peers, at a standard of proof beyond reasonable doubt, based on evidence, presented at trial, conducted in accordance with due process, resulting in a sentence, duly executed, of capital punishment.”

Forhan continued, “That is what I mean when I say I am going to kill Donald Trump.”

The video shows the thrill of saying (or hearing others declare) that you are going to kill your political enemies. After the thrill-kill statement, Forhan then adds the legal rationale, like a fast-talking commercial warning of product risks. He knows, as with those warnings, people will tune out the perfunctory verbiage. Indeed, like a commercial, he immediately returns to the marketing pitch in saying, “I am going to kill Donald Trump.”

This is protected speech under the First Amendment, but it is also reprehensible rhetoric at a time of increasing social unrest. Forhan is trafficking in rage in the hope that it will secure him a political office.

This pledge to hunt a single individual has worked for other Democratic Attorney General candidates like Letitia James.

Other prosecutors are feeding the rage addiction with their own overwrought and dubious pledges.  Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner has been holding chest-thumping press conferences promising to arrest federal agents, which is highly unlikely given federal immunity protections.

Krasner was back, thrilling the MS Now crowd with a vow to “hunt” down federal immigration agents if they move into the city. He repeated the Democratic mantra that these law enforcement officers are Nazis and Gestapo.

“This is a small bunch of wannabe Nazis. That’s what they are. In a country of 350 million, we outnumber them. If we have to hunt you down the way they hunted down Nazis for decades, we will find your identities. We will find you. We will achieve justice.”

This reckless rhetoric from Krasner (who was in my class at the University of Chicago) is occurring as protesters in cities like Minneapolis have been shown carrying signs reading “Kill Nazis.”

From pledges to kill Trump to hunting down federal enforcement officers, Democratic leaders are attempting to ride the rage wave to midterm victories. It is a call not for democracy but mobocracy. They will find that it will be a short-lived ride. Today’s revolutionaries often turn into tomorrow’s reactionaries.

In a July 2017 speech to a law enforcement audience, President Donald Trump urged police, “don’t be too nice” to suspects taken into custody.

Some administration louts have said that the most recent person killed in Minneapolis by a federal officer was a “would-be assassin” and, of course, a “domestic terrorist.” Because Republicans control congressional committee gavels, and because today’s president controls congressional Republicans, there will be no oversight of ICE’s rampages. The Senate, which disgraced itself by confirming Noem and others unqualified for Cabinet positions, is especially unlikely to suddenly acquire the inconvenience of a conscience.

      1. Spit and a taillight is hardly “destroying.”

Since the video starts in what looks like the middle of a confrontation, it’s possible they pepper sprayed him first for merely standing nearby; I have seen several videos of ICE goons doing pepper spraying drive bys of people on sidewalks and holding signs.

        1. Spit and a taillight is hardly “destroying.”

This is left wing “Above the law” on spitting on law enforcement.
          https://abovethelaw.com/2025/11/how-bad-is-it-to-spit-at-law-enforcement-very-bad-it-turns-out/

BTW there are state and local laws too.

Whether you are left or right – no matter what you are protesting.

Do NOT spit on law enforcement.
Do not intentionally make physical contact with them without their permission – i.e. Do not lay your hands on an LEO or worse shove them.
It will end badly and likely ruin the rest of your life.

While personally I think some of these laws have gone way too far.
At the same time – as is evident with all this left wing nut ICE idiocy – protest laws you do not like with law makers.
Not with those enforcing the laws.
Only idiots make the process of arresting someone even more dangerous and complicated.

The laws that make messing with Law Enforcement even in minor ways serious crimes exist because we do not want the “Men With Guns” who enforce our laws having to split their attention between multiple threats while attempting a potentionally dangerous arrest.

Right now Democrats in the senate are fighting to modify the laws regarding ICE.
Regardless of what I think about their specific proposals – that is the PROPER way to address this – Change the law.
Personally I think the GOP should accept modified versions of some tf the proposed restrictions – but counter with their own.
ICE can not wear masks, must had some ID – I would suggest badges with an ID number, and can not engage in crowd control.
But State Government must provide crowd control at the request of federal agents and if they refuse the president can call in that States National Guard – with or without the permission of the governor, but solely to do crowd control.

Authorizing FBI and DOJ to investigate and prosecute LOCAL crimes against the federal government when state and local officials will not.

There are serious problems with the lefts idiocy regarding Warrants.
It is NOT appropriate to go to a federal magistrate to get a civil seizure warrant – deportations are NOT criminal prosecutions, even when Criminals are being deported.
ICE is not getting so called judicial warrants to circumvent anything.
They are getting “administrative warrants” – because technically ICE does not arrest people, they detain people who do not have a right to be in the US, pending deportation.

Legally this is more similar to getting a court order to have a sheriff remove a tenant being evicted from their apartment, than it is the arrest of a criminal.

Regardless, Congress should specify that some some means by which ICE can go into prisons and jails and remove people with deportation orders. Congress should also require state and local law enforcement to notify the federal government of arrests, so that the FEDS can check for Federal Warants or deportation orders.

Republicans should agree to some diminished powers for ICE making arrests in return for imposing requirements on state and local law enforcement to cooperate with ICE.

        2. “Its possible” is not much of an argument.

It is also possible that the officers who shot Pretti are the same ones he spat on and whose car he bashed.
Or that Pretti’s misconduct got him on a list and ICE officers were warned he was dangerous, had a gun and engaged in threatening behavior.

But we do not KNOW those things, and unless we do we can not factor them into any analysis.

    1. What is your argument here ?

I do not think police should be encouraged to use more force than necescary when making arrests.

How much force do you think is necescary to arrest someone with a gun who reached for it – Fortunately one officer had removed that gun milliseconds before. Unfortunately neither Pretti nor the officers who shot him were aware of that.

Further as demonstrated by the latest video – Pretti is clearly an out of control hot head. – HYis conduct matches the words of those of you on the left here.

He should have been arrested 11 days earlier when he spit on an ICE vehicle, kicked it repeated, damaging the tail light and then spit on an ICE officer. All of those are crimes – but they are not federal crimes and MN and MPD are lawless so Pretti was not arrested Before things escalated.

Is Pretti a “would be assassin” ? A “domestic terrorist” ? Maybe, maybe not. But at best those are small exaggerations. He certainly a dangerous hothead who was with near certainty going to get himself and possibly others killed if not stopped first.

  2. MAGA would have been on the side of the Redcoats, and
all their reverence for the Constitution and Declaration of Independence
is just lip service. In sum, they are full of crap.

    1. I thought that you keep calling J6 an insurrection ?
April 18. 1775 was much like J6 – except that protesters did not bring guns.

Regardless the constitution provides the framework for “the rule of law”
The declaration of independence is the justification for insurrection when government goes outside the rule of law.

    1. Hillary had it in for Vince Foster… Bill just had it in a few underage girls, he likes em young according to the Epstein emails.

  3. If constitutional principles are so wonderful, then you might want to see their
wonderfulness expanded in ways that improve and enhance existing constitutional protections.
Why wouldn’t you, if you revere the Constitution so much?
Why limit them to a few narrow areas?
That’s what my “fruit of a poisonous tree” comment was about.

    1. The goal is “the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with law and order”
      https://www.reaganlibrary.gov/reagans/ronald-reagan/time-choosing-speech-october-27-1964

We want to expand liberty as much as possible – so long as doing so does not come at the cost of the very law and order than makes liberty possible. Anarchy is not liberty. it is survival of the fittest, the meanest and the most brutal.

“Fruit of the poisonous tree” is a legal rule to impeded overzealous Law enforcement from violating your rights to get a prosecution.
It is NOT a means to get away with crimes. The fruit of the poisonous tree brs evidence indirectly obtained as a result of a violation of rights.
It does not prohibit the use of that evidence it it can be legitimately acquired through other means.

Constraints in the law to protect individual rights are NOT there to help the guilty get away with lawlessness,
They are there to keep law enforcement acting within the law.

Regardless, I have no idea how the “fruit of the poisonous tree would in any way apply to ICE,
and I doubt you do either.

I would suggest to you that we have spent 900,000 years evolving the norms of human conduct in society.
We have spent atleast 3000 years evolving the “rule of law”.

What we have is not perfect, but you are a complete idiot if you think you can toss it all out and start over from scratch and not end up with something FAR WORSE.

It is one thing to tweek the conditions under which law enforcement can enter a home without a warrant – about 9 months ago SCOTUS made that SLIGHTLY easier.

It is something entirely different to say people who entered the country without permission – without a visa, or US passport, have a right to be here and are entitled to criminal due process in order to remove.

The left likes to fixate on the abuses of indians.

What happened to them was what happens when you have “open borders”

    1. “Operations like Metro Surge this should not happen arbitarily,”
It is not. Like all other law enforcement operations it is happening to enforce existing federal law.

“just become the federal government feels like doing them.”
Correct – Law enforcement is supposed to enforce our laws even if thy DONT feel like it.

“There should be all kinds warrants signed by judges that allow such operations.”
Does a police officer who pulls you over for speeding or running a traffice light, or because your tail light is out need a warrant or a judges approval ?

If someone robs a bank – do the police need to go to a judge to be able to investigate ?

The constraints we place on law enforcement are for actions that infringe on our rights, and the scale of the constraints is proportionate to the degree of infringement.

4th ammendment – “Search and Seizure” law is by far the most well developed law in the US.

It covers everything from a police officer asking you questions on the street through to a SWAT team busting into your home at 4am with no knock warrant.

If ICE was acting outside the requirements of the 4th amendment they would have been trivially stopped long ago.

There is a problem with lawlessness – but it is on the left.

It is cities and states beleiving that they can ignore even impede federal law.
It is citities and states beleiving they do not have to enforce their own laws – if doing so serves interests they do not like.

Is there anyone who beleives the US is obligated to keep criminals who are not here legally ?
70% of ICE arrests are of people who were convicted of a crime in the US or another country or who have criminal charges pending against them.

Why isn’t EVERYONE agreed that we should be deporting those people ?

Polls show 80-90% of people STILL support that.
Polls STILL show that 56% of americans want EVERYONE in the US illegally deported.

While I am NOT in the 44% that would NOT deport EVERY illegal alien, and I actually want more legal immigration.
That does not mean the ONLY people we should be deporting are criminal illegals,
nor does it means that because I would prefer the law was different – we should not enforce the law.

Can we ignore redlights because some of us do not like them ?

    2. Why is it that you think anyone needed to read wikipedia on Metro surge ?

Is there anyone here that does not know that large numbers of ICE agents were sent to minneapolis to remove the approximately 60,000 criminal illegal aliens there with current pending deportation orders ?

I would also hope most people know Minneapolis is the 15th major city ICE has “surged” enforcement into.

All that is unusual is the extent to which ICE is being obstructed.

  4. Hey Lefties, want to get ICE out of your town? Stop attacking them and help them remove every last illegal alien and they won’t need to be there. We could even reduce the department personnel count.

    1. In California, citizens can’t use water past their limit, but illegal aliens and “fake” and fraudulent “asylum” protectees can come in and use all the water they need.

Now tell me, does that make any sense?

    2. No one was removing “an illegal alien” when Renee Good and Alex Pretti were murdered. They were both exercising their constitutional right to protest.

And did you forget the lie they told about removing migrants convicted of violent crimes?

And why Minneapolis, when Minnesota ranks 28th in the country for the number of undocumented migrants? Why? The Trump retribution campaign—because Gov. Walz ran against him in 2024. The same applies to our tax dollars being wasted by the FBI complying with the Trump command to “find” proof he didn’t lose in 2020–by serving a warrant to paw through election records in Fulton County Georgia. Does anyone really believe that Patel hasn’t been ordered to destroy or alter records?

Why you might also ask don’t the loser trash cowards who work for ICE go to hotels and restaurants to round up undocumented migrants? We all know there’s lots of them working there. It’s because some of the owners of the big hotels and restaurant chains are Trump campaign donors and they know they couldn’t stay open without migrant labor. So grease Trump’s palm and you get a pass. The same is true for large farming operations and meat packing plants. There aren’t enough American workers to fill these jobs.

So, spare us the MAGA talking points. It’s not about enforcing the law.

      1. Oh BS! They were both members of some dumfuk group of anti anything Trump. They both got dead from their own stupidity!

      2. “They were both exercising their constitutional right to protest.”

        – So Says The Idiot
        _______________________

Here’s the entirety of their constitutional “right to protest”: The right PEACEABLY TO ASSEMBLE.

Not to move, make loud noises, riot, disturb the peace, assault and intimidate others, start fires, throw hard objects, interfere with law enforcement, etc., etc., etc.

Read it, Karl, it’s not in the Communist Manifesto.
        _______________________________________________________

        1st Amendment

Congress shall make no law…abridging…the right of the people peaceably to assemble….

        1. …”Congress shall make no law…abridging…the right of the people peaceably to assemble…”

“…and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” Note that ‘”petition” “spit it on”‘. On a more serious note, enforcing immigration laws and regulations against individuals who are not US citizens and who have no legal right to be present can hardly objectively be considered legitimate grievances of the individual US citizens who are participating in these protests, including the two fools who were shot by ICE.

          1. “petition” NE “spit it on”. The wonderful WordPress widgit likes to eat boolean operators.

      3. Only 2% of immigrants — whether legal or illegal — work on farms. Going after them — spread across the continent — would hardly be an effective use of resources.

      4. After she ignored, 3 times, the ICE Agents command to exit the vehicle, Renee Good heard her spouse yell “Drive, baby, drive!” and started turning onto the street.
Heedless of both the presence of Agent Ross and her vehicle’s 19 foot turning radius, she clipped Ross with her 4600 lb SUV.
Trying to stop her, Ross fired through the windshield.

      5. Instead of peacefully recording and whistling, Pretti illegally interfered with the ICE Agent’s attempt to arrest a suspect, using gallantry as a pretext.
The fact that he was tooled up like the perpetrator of the Dunblane tot massacre did not help.

    3. Most of those hauled in by ICE aren’t illegal. They had asylum seeker status and the Republicans simply cut the immigration courts to prevent them from advancing in accordance with the laws that Congress created and a President signed.

  5. It’s interesting that Krasner wants to jail ICE agents since he is reluctant to prosecute murderers.

    1. Suze – it’s of a piece with the rest of the Left’s worldview. They love people who rape and murder innocent Americans. They hate American law enforcement trying to keep innocent people safe by removing the criminals.

Why? Because more broadly, they hate Western civilization and want it torn down. Thus, they favor Islamic terrorists like the IRGC over the innocent Iranians being slaughter by the tens of thousands. Campus protests invariably support the terrorists, and simply do not exist to support the innocent civilians. There were no campus protest for the rape and murder of entire Jewish families on October 7. And there are no campus protest for the Iranian people.

Instead, we have groups like “gays for Gaza” even though gays would be murdered in Gaza. Again, why? The same reason: being opposed to western civilization and wanting it torn down. When it comes to that, Islamic jihadism is more efficient than homosexuality, so Islamic jihadism is higher on the totem pole and is preferred. Some gays are waking up to that reality and overcoming their prejudices against conservatives and Christians to tell the truth, e.g.:

      https://pjmedia.com/anonymous/2016/06/12/gay-activist-after-orlando-trump-voter-n46794

    2. @suze – Were you referring to this Larry Krasner?
In the 2025 election, the Soros foundation’s political action committee contributed approximately $1.45 million to support Larry Krasner in his bid for re-election as Philadelphia District Attorney. This backing mirrors previous support, as Soros had already contributed around $1.7 million in Krasner’s initial campaign.

    3. Arlen Specter said he let Perdue go free after killing a motorist on the PA turnpike “In 1974, Frank Perdue, the owner of Perdue Farms, was involved in a fatal car accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike…”

  6. An elderly retired Minneapolis couple had guns pointed at them by ICE in a church parking lot.
“They were obviously not trained at all. I’ve known many police officers in my life. These people were right off the streets.”
“They had the professional demeanor of criminals.”

    https://x.com/paulg/status/2016493210139283573

President Donald Trump’s immigration forces stunned observers on Wednesday after they drew their weapons on an elderly couple in a church parking lot in Minneapolis.
The retired couple spoke with journalists outside the church on Wednesday, where Trump’s immigration agents were trying to catch members of the congregation as they left the building. The operation happened just days after the federal government arrested protesters who attended a church service in St. Paul and questioned one of the pastors over his ties to the local Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office.

“ICE agents had the audacity to come and try to arrest and kidnap people leaving church. We turned into a parking lot and were greeted by approximately four unmarked ice vehicles with agents who immediately stopped us and pointed semi-automatic weapons in our face, asked us to roll down the windows, threatened us multiple times with arrest.”
“They had the professional demeanor of criminals,” the elderly man added.

    1. Yep, classic terrorist types right there. Grandma and grandpa were clearly out looking for violence, and not just bringing some hot dish to the Elks lodge.

          1. This is what happens when a government decides it wants shock troops more than professionals.
We keep gathering data points that these ICE-holes are basically just armed street thugs with badges.

Real training gives people restraint, judgment, and a sense of proportion, not “point guns at retirees in a church parking lot.”
At some point you have to stop calling it a few bad apples and admit the institution is recruiting and rewarding exactly this behavior

          2. I don’t know but we have a blue hair anti Trump gathering of them every Saturday morning here. One even walked out in traffic and tried to block my vehicle. Late 70’s with long hair in a ponytail. They look like the eldercare rejects, the Geritol Geronimos. Don’t let age trick you, Communists come in all ages a sizes, they even make up special pronouns for themselves.

            1. “One even walked out in traffic and tried to block my vehicle. ”

Congratulations on remembering which floor pedal does what. Under similar circumstances, I might have a mental lapse on that subject.

              1. I did have a moment there but we were too busy laughing at them and their signs. Some were in wheelchairs and walkers, one guy in a wheelchair had to go 300# plus. If I hadn’t seen it, I wouldn’t believe it.

    2. ICE can go wherever they want, whenever they want, and do whatever they want without a warrant to enforce the law, just like Redcoats and Nazis, so says the right.

    3. NO EVIDENCE
“The report of this specific, retired couple being held at gunpoint in a parking lot was highlighted by activist groups and shared via social media, with quotes from the couple describing the even…”

Although I do have evidence we didn’t go to the moon. Not ever. No way Jose!

    4. “They had the professional demeanor of criminals,” the elderly man added.

I am beginning to contemplate that there are some ICE impostors out there attempting to stir up rage and riot against ICE, just like Antifa impostors. Some of these stories are just not credible with reference to actual bona fide ICE personnel.

      1. “Some of these stories are just not credible”

Occam’s Razor would suggest those stories are merely outright lies.

  7. This man is mentally ill and a danger to himself and others. To protect society, he needs to be locked up in a psych ward.

  8. NO TEARS FOR

Jocelyn Nungaray (12, Texas): Two Venezuelan men in the country illegally were arrested and charged with capital murder in June 2024,

Laken Riley (22, Georgia): A nursing student who was killed in February 2024 while jogging. A Venezuelan man who entered the U.S. illegally was charged with her murder.

Rachel Morin (37, Maryland): A mother of five was found murdered in August 2023. In June 2024, a suspect from El Salvador, who was in the country illegally, was arrested.

Larisha Thompson (South Carolina): Six undocumented immigrants were charged in connection with a robbery-turned-murder in June 2025.

          1. In the MSM’s worldview: American citizens bad, violent illegal aliens good.

In the MSM’s worldview: Western civilization bad, barbaric jihadist revolution to destroy western civ good.

That’s why the MSM fawned over Gazans killing Jews, and is completely indifferent to the suffering of the Iranian people at the hands of its barbaric, medieval Satan-worshipping government.

The above goes for the American Left in general. That’s how we get the absurdity of “Gays for Gaza” (where they would be thrown a roof party, i.e., thrown off the roof). Where are all the campus protests in favor of the human rights of Iranian people getting butchered by the tens of thousands?

            1. Protests are typically to influence the American government to change a policy that is at issue.

America is involved in supplying the munitions that are used to kill people in Gaza – to the amounts of 3-8 times the yield of the Hiroshima bomb in the total weight of conventional explosives dropped in Gaza.

As far as I can tell, America has no involvement in the workings of Iran and so there is nothing for Americans to protest.

            1. Your comment about “dead Americans” is so general as to be meaningless. If you want to ask a real question, specify what in the ever living f–k you’re talking about.

                1. NOT A PEEP. Not a sound. Leftist guerrillas are broken-hearted–from what they say–over preferred people, but do not have even the slightest concern for the innocent young American citizens destroyed by those in our country illegally.

                2. Unless and until you specify what in the ever living f–k you are even talking about, it is impossible to answer that question.

                  1. ^@9:20 this is the same immature turd who spent his time yesterday (and before that) scrolling through everyone’s comments and posting one-liner responses that he thinks are witty or biting. They are neither, but truth be told, he IS the same immature turd,

              1. There were plenty of examples earlier in the thread that was commented on. Learn to read, half wit.

        1. Mr Kimmel, the 4 murdered by illegals get zip. Not a sigh. No moist eyes. Zip.

          Gosh, Jimbo, whassupp wit dat?

          1. That would make sense if, throughout all of America, only 4 people were killed by a few dozen immigrants.

Are there only a few dozen immigrants? Were there only 4 people killed in America last year?

If not, then you are looking at the wrong problem to solve.

            1. “Are there only a few dozen immigrants? Were there only 4 people killed in America last year?
If not, then you are looking at the wrong problem to solve.”

But two morons shot by ICE in the discharge of their duties is a suitable problem for massive attention?

    1. People can be sad for them. What they should not do is take it out on 30,000,000 other immigrants that didn’t do that.

Or they should be angry at the 100X more damage done by American citizens against American citizens.

  9. 4 major human kingdoms was predicted to arise in a line of succession from Babylon in a 100% accurate prophecy through the 3rd/Rome when the 4th(divided rule/disunited population) will be destroyed by god’s kingdom(“thy kingdom come”), which then fills the earth.-Daniel 2:19-44! Human death ends when this happens & humanity is reconciled back to the creator as it was in Eden.-Rev.21:3-5!

  10. Didn’t read today’s serving of smelly slop because I don’t need to. Turley’s big theme, based on what he says he writes in books (which I will never read because I don’t need to)–we are living in an “age of rage”. Of course, since Turley is on the MAGA payroll, you have to consider the source and reason for his writing, and all of MAGA–to keep Trump from getting impeached and help Republicans stay in power. So, Turley wants you to write off the rage you feel over Trump, the most morally-unfit person ever to occupy the White House, over his historically-unqualified and historically and outrageously incompetent “cabinet” as a mere by-product of “rage”–thereby defusing the REASONS for being outraged.

Where to start? Trump is a chronic, habitual liar who has burnished a well-deserved reputation as someone who cannot be trusted–in his 3 marriages (so far–he cheated on all of his wives), in business transactions (literally thousands of suits for breach of contract), and in his interpersonal dealings. He is a convicted felon. He lies on loan applications. He lied to get into office in 2024–falsely promising to end the Russian war against Ukraine on “day one” (of what? We’re still waiting). Falsely promised to immediately bring down the price of groceries (which have gone up, not down). He lies about inflation when he took office–about 2%–it is up from that, something else he lies about. He is an unabashed racist–claimed Haitian immigrants were eating people’s cats and dogs, called brown people “animals, vermin, murderers and rapists”, praises White Supremacists and, just today, mind you, referred to money lenders as “shylocks”, which is an antisemitic slur. He is a misogynist, adjudicated as a sexual assaulter. He invaded Venezuela and kidnapped its leader to get its oil, all as a pay back oil executives who donated to his campaign, and now, claims he is the President of Venezuela. he blew up boats leaving Venezuela, claiming that the occupants were drug dealers headed for the US, which is impossible because their outboard engine ski boats couldn’t possibly reach American shores. He tore down the East Wing of the White House without seeking the approval of anyone–Congress or the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He fired the Board of the Kennedy Center, appointed his cronies, and put his name above that of JFK.

Then, there’s ICE, which is murdering American citizens for daring to protest Trump’s army of Nazi-esque thugs on the streets of Minneapolis–not alleged criminals–and then, lying about what happened and slandering the victims. Alex Pretti, RN, is a higher quality of human being than Trump or anyone in his “cabinet” could ever hope to be. Mother of 3 Renee Good was as conciliatory as she possibly could be before she was shot and killed. How about taking away food assistance earmarked for Africans, hundreds of thousands of them who have died as a result, while the food sat, rotting, in warehouses in Belgium, for which we taxpayer are paying $10K per day for storage? Then, there’s lying about having any kind of health insurance plan while taking away the ACA. He uses tariffs as threats against our trading partners, and the cost of everything imported has gone up. How about complaining about lack of respect for ICE agents, masked thugs who pepper spray people for protesting against them, but pardoning the losers who attacked our Capitol Police officers because tried to help Trump steal the election after he lost in 2020? Then, there’s the threat to take Greenland by force if Denmark wouldn’t sell it to us, setting in motion NATO allies sending troops to Greenland to protect it against the US. What is the normal reaction to these things–which is not, by far, an exhaustive list of things to be upset about if you are an American.

If you are a patriotic American, it would be abnormal NOT to be outraged over Trump, over the damage he has done and is doing to our country, to our international relations, the lives lost, and relationships forged over decades. If we are living in an “age of rage”, it’s because of Trump, and we SHOULD BE outraged!

      1. Nothing.

2 killed in Minnesota. The sky is falling. Armageddon has arrived! The horror!

4 dead, murdered by illegals and the reaction by Guerrillas was
Zilch. Nada. Nothing. Not a sound.

      1. Karen S: do you wonder why Trump hasn’t sent his Nazi- esq squad of killers to the large agricultural operations in your state of California? Everyone knows that most of their workers are undocumented. Why? Because they donated to Trump’s campaign and couldn’t stay in business without the migrants. So they get a pass.

    1. Gigi, I’m curious.
You regularly come here and spew your crude and hateful words towards OTHERS.
but How would you describe yourself and your crude, ugly words?
Is your tummy filled with ‘smelly slop?’
Should we consider the ‘source and reason’ for YOUR writing.
What should be our ‘normal reaction’ to YOU?

    2. Flat Earth believers. Sovereign Citizens. Trump supporters

Facts no longer matter to them. Results don’t matter. All that matters is that their rage is taken out on defenseless people on their behalf.

    1. It’s not wrong. The 4th Amendment prevents them from entering private property without a warrant. Is that what you’re talking about?

      1. Yes, something similar to a search warrant that explicitly states where officers can go and when, and what they can do while there. These ICE operations seem arbitrary, and such arbitrariness is what the Founders were against.

        1. That’s not how it works. They can go anywhere on public property. Nothing in the Constitution disallows that.

Also, ICE is looking for illegal aliens. That’s very specific, it’s not at all arbitrary. They are doing all law-abiding Americans a favor by removing dangerous people who are here illegally from the country.

          1. Maybe it should, in order to form a more perfect union. Why are you against limiting government in a way that enhances rights?

            1. You are free to amend the Constitution if you can get enough support for that.

              As far as limiting government:

I support the government exercising its core functions of keeping Americans safe from crime, including criminal illegal aliens.

I don’t support the government telling me I have to inject experimental chemicals into my body, or wear a mask that does no good, or prevent my kids from going to school, or shut down my church because it’s non-essential while bars serving alcohol are essential, or colluding with huge social media corporations to suppress conservative speech, or forcing biological males into women’s locker rooms and showers, or banning the development and transportation of energy by private energy sector companies through pipelines and liquid natural gas exports, and the like.

          2. “Also, ICE is looking for illegal aliens. That’s very specific, it’s not at all arbitrary. ”

Let’s look for child sexual abuse material on your computer. That’s very specific, it’s not at all arbitrary. Take your computer and, if you get another one, take that. If you don’t have child sexual abuse material on your computer, you should be glad to have your computers taken and examined to prove that is so. You don’t have a right to a computer, so that’s not a problem either. Also, your phone, your car, and the home you occupy will also be taken, just in case.

  11. I would have assumed that conservatives would have wanted us to have more rights and freedoms, not less, and to explore ideas on how to achieve this. I was mistaken.

      1. And fascists with daddy issues who are absolutely desperate to be ruled over by a dictator for some reason.

        1. Does a dictator close houses of worship?
Does a dictator demand and coerce forced vaccinations?
Does a dictator pick and choose which laws to enforce?
Does a dictator profit from payoffs from foreign governments?

          I think you’re seriously confused.

          MAGAnificent!

    1. Conservative want freedom from rape and murder at the hands of violent illegal aliens, and the right to live our lives free from violent crime, violent gang members killing and raping us, and free from child sex trafficking. Those are just some of the freedoms and rights we want. By sheer coincidence, those are the same things the core functions of any existing government are duty-bound to protect for its citizens – liberal and conservative alike.

      1. Conservative want freedom from rape and murder at the hands of violent illegal aliens but are A-OK if done by American citizens.

Those engaged in child sex-trafficking are trafficking them to Americans. Why not go after the customers?

  12. A statement like that used to be a calling card for the FBI or Secret Service and a likely arrest.

I am convinced that someone opened the doors of the asylum. These people are obsessed and insane.

    1. . That’s it in a nutshell em. Gangsters think wrong is right. Crime is right. It has a name. It’s called hell.

  13. The video that is all over the Internet of Forhan making his legalistic “clarification” sounds to me like it was not the first time he expressed such a desire. I cannot find a video or statement where he expressed that desire prior to making his clarification, but that does not mean he did not express it previously. I would agree with the Professor that the video with his clarification should be protected, however vile, if it were the first thing that he said on the subject. But if he was making that statement all by itself prior making his clarification video, then I do not agree it would or should be protected speech. It could very possibly constitute a threat and that should cause the FBI and Secret Service to start performing the investigatory equivalent of a rectal exam on him.

    1. A threat is a threat, to threaten the Presidents life whether veiled or not is a crime. Lock his dumb ass up.

    1. Omfk, they’re gangsters. Gangsters only lie. This man has committed crimes. Law enforcement must investigate.

    2. Not all conservatives are Nazis. However, Nazis support the conservative message, so it makes one consider that the difference is not meaningful. For certain Trump has never said that Nazis should not have voted for him and that any Nazi is a domestic terrorist.

  14. Maybe it will work out well for the DNC if they spend about a half a trillion dollars trying to put Trump in prison. That really worked out super well for them in the 2024 elections, didn’t it?

  15. Sir Isaiah Berlin, historian, philosopher and theorist of society and government wrote in the Hedgehog and Fox, ch 1: “….For there exists a great chasm between those, on one side, who relate everything to a single central vision, and, on the other side, those who pursue many ends, often unrelated and even contradictory….The first kind of intellectual and artistic personality belongs to the hedgehogs, the second to the Foxes….”

A line that may apply to all the Democrat liberals or otherwise: “I’ll bet your father threw rocks at the stork”.

Asking Ai, {Lenny Bruce on liberals?} returned; “The liberals can understand everything but people who don’t understand them.”
