Taking a Ride on Newsom’s “Train to Nowhere”: Californians Burn Billions for Political Boondoogle

In the dystopian novel 1984,  George Orwell wrote, “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” The true meaning of that line was never more clear than watching the truly bizarre photo op of California governor Gavin Newsom heralding the success of the greatest boondoggle in history: his high-speed train to nowhere. Without laying a single yard of track after burning $12 billion, Newsom showed a diesel freight train on a conventional track to create the appearance of a working railroad.

I have been writing about this boondoggle for years. Newsom promised years ago that the project would be transformative. It was, but not as he promised.

Voters approved a $9.95 billion bond issue in 2008 after absurdly low estimates of the projected cost. Influential figures and companies stood to make a fortune, and the key was to secure a “buy-in” worth billions, so that it would become increasingly difficult to abandon the project as overruns and delays sent costs soaring.

Now the official estimate of future ridership has dropped by 25% , and it demands billions more to complete a project delayed by decades. Remember that this entire project was meant to create a rail line of only 171 miles. It is projected to exceed $128 billion and could ultimately cost a billion dollars per mile. There are still uncompleted environmental assessments and challenging rail lines through the mountains.

There is still no train and not a yard of track almost 20 years later.

The inspector general, Benjamin Belnap, issued a scathing report on the first phase of the still uncompleted project.  That is only the stretch from Merced to Bakersfield which was supposed to be completed by 2033. Belnap wrote:

“With a smaller remaining schedule envelope and the potential for significant uncertainty and risk during subsequent phases of the project, staying within the 2033 schedule envelope is unlikely. In fact, uncertainty about some parts of the project has increased as the authority has recently made decisions that deviated from the procurement and funding strategies that were part of its plans for staying on schedule.”

Rather than deliver on the promise of high-speed rail from Los Angeles to San Francisco, the Merced-Bakersfield line would now cost $35.3 billion, exceeding the 2008 projection for a complete system.

Merced and Bakersfield have a combined population of roughly 500,000. That works out to roughly $22,000 per person, based on state ridership estimates.

However, Newsom still wants to be president even as citizens are fleeing his state in record numbers.  The “train to nowhere” is a problem. Even the New York Times is writing editorials on whether Newsom will be the next mistake of the Democratic Party.

Newsom’s response is to arrange for gushing columns like Maya Singer’s embarrassing piece in Vogue:

Let’s get this out of the way: He is embarrassingly handsome, his hair seasoned with silver, at ease with his own eminence as he delivers his final State of the State address…

Newsom’s lanky frame was folded onto a sofa a bit too low-slung for him. This made him lean back—away from me. Or it could be that his body language had nothing to do with ergonomics and is a function of Newsom’s quality of being at once gregarious and aloof.”

It is the type of teenybopper heartthrob coverage that Newsom is counting on from the media. It is not the billions burned on a non-existent railway but his glorious hair and “eminence.”

However, others beyond Vogue readers may be interested in his actual record. Hence, the need to release this absurd photo op that would make a propagandist blush:

“All of the hard work behind us. Now we’re going to see the fruits of that. We’re going to start seeing precisely what you see here. Real tracks, real progress.”

It is like paying for a meal at a restaurant and the Chef charging you ten times what was on the menu, not producing the meal for hours, and then showing you a picture of a different dish as a sign of his progress.

The difference is that Newsom has taken almost two decades to deliver and cut the original dish to a fraction of its original size while increasing the price exponentially.

Californians are now captives on a train to nowhere. The state must continue to burn billions because too much is invested economically and politically. They must ride the train with Gavin Newsom to the very end.

    1. Another media generated hoax. The point of the video was to highlight potential problems with voting machines. At the very end – literally about one second – a non-related video appears in which the Obamas are depicted as apes in the Lion King setting. Whoever clipped the first video – the main video highlighting the potential problems with voting machines that the Trump team was amplifying – accidently included that micro second in their editing.

The entire media ignores the point the Trump team was making and instead falsely creates the impression that the reason Trump’s team posted the video was to depict the Obamas as apes.

It’s textbook sophistry. The ENTIRE media is complicit.

However much you hate and distrust the MSM it is not nearly enough.

  1. This kind of bold big waste filled spending on unobtainable ANYTHING is a hallmark of the Demorat political machine from east to west coast. Committees , regulations , more regs , more studies , more “consultants” , more contractors . city , state and local manipulations. God they do so love expensive inefficient and fraud ridding bureaucracy. It literally is kafkaesque govt run amok intentional insanity. In these blue lagoon states everything they touch and launch on the taxpayer dime is loaded with fraud , grift , waste , excess and the kiss od death bureaucracy. Money just evaporates like it was in the desert.

  2. Started out as a Jerry Brown vanity project, then morphed into a 100 Billion dollar vehicle for graft, waste, fraud, and abuse.

    1. It literally is a metastasized cancer upon our government of which democratz seemed to have perfected it’s incompetence and cost to levels above that of the excesses and fraud of Ancient Rome.

  3. They call him Greasy Gavin…
For good reason! Worse than a used car salesman.
    Zero personality, zero “eminence”.

    1. He acts more like Davos Gravvy Gavin. Flew all the way their to do a TDS look at me speech and got denied.

  4. George Orwell wrote, “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears

It seems Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Steve Winwood, and Dhani Harrison could not believe their eyes and ears when a black gay dude and a devout Jehovah’s Witness follower, out-guitar’ed them on stage in a tribute to George Harrison. Prince utterly shocked the white dudes and the audience as he manhandled the fret board. Pure fire!

  5. Me, my wife, and sons are originally from California but left in 96 to the east because of business. Me and my wife believe that Reagan was the last good Governor of California. After him Jerry Brown and the environmentalists changed many of the ways things were being built in the state. Regulations increased at local, county, and state level adding to costs, time to build, how you built, actual items used, and who you could use to build from. This has increased over time.

Each Governor and the Assembly has added to this over time. It has been added on by the unions and various groups that all make money off it. Today California is in solid Democrat control in most local and state areas. The problem is that California is heavy in debt, they have pushed hard for green energy but have killed many of their fossil fuel energy so they are in peril, and their increase tax push is driving out business and people that pay the taxes. This train to nowhere is just another money pit for various Dem groups and nobody can afford it.

      1. This is what you get from the type of uneducated morons who infest this blog, and who make it their life’s work to destroy the educational system.

  6. The train to nowhere should be referred to as the “Big Pig” in honor of the “Big Dig” in Boston, the last major construction project that cost taxpayers billions in overruns. Thanks to President Trump, the Feds have stopped paying for this boondoggle.

  7. Don’t forget this was the Pelosi’s boondoggle before it was a Ghastly Nuisances.

Don’t forget that the proposed gauge of the track and the proposed gauge of the train never matched.

    1. It was barely approved as a ballot proposition under Gov. Schwarzenegger, and construction began during the term of Jerry Brown. All three Governors are to blame, as well as the voters in California who approved the measure.

    2. But we shan’t forget it was “always” a demonkratzi party political fraud scheme from it’s inception.

  8. I prefer “his newsomness” over “his eminence”. As to California being stuck with continuing it because so much has been spent already, I suppose the sunk cost fallacy is consistent with the whole state’s governance, so unfortunately you’re probably right.

  9. Dear Jonathon,
Back when Paul Pelosi was in the news because of his “nighttime visitor”, I read that he was heavily involved in the train to nowhere.
Is there any chance you would be willing to look into this aspect as well, PLEASE!!

  10. Turley focusing on Newsome and tying him up with the the California high speed rail project that started long before he come into office. Yes, it’s overdue, expensive, and mired in bureaucracy, politics, and profiteering. Big surprise. That seems to be a story that is not exclusive to California and Turley is taking advantage of to gratuitiously smear Governor Newsome, because he’s a Democrat. Never mind the various expensive policy failures of the Trump administration, the fake deals and stopping of wars no one has ever heard of between countries he can’t pronounce. Funny stuff.

When China can build world class high speed rail reaching 12,000 miles of track, infrastructure, and efficient operation within 10 years makes us look like a bunch of idiot contractors still haggling over the blueprints and material costs.

It’s clear that here in the U.S. any major infrastructure project takes years when it should take months. Near where I live, the state has spent nearly 5 years building a simple overpass exchange. I’ve watched with amazement a similar sized highway exchange built in a months in China.

We have a ridiculous number of environmental regualations, studies, and seeking the lowerst bidder who will use the least amount of workers and take the longest time to build. We want the kind of unfrastructure China is building but want it done as cheaply as possible while trying to pocket the most profit possible. That is why we don’t build grand important unfrasturcure or new modes of transportation like high speed rail. If China can build high speed rail through the mountains, marshes, and deserts and eartthquake prone areas So can Caliornia. The problem is it requires government investment and competent knowledgeable builders.

We could literally buy an entire high speed rail system from China and pay them to build it for us. Ironically the Chinese helped build the rail road in California during the old western days. Of course we would be too proud to ask for help from the more experienced Chinese, Japanese, or even the Europeans. They would be able build it faster cheaper and sell us the train sets to operate them.

    1. The US as a whole does not have ridiculous number of environmental regulations and studies. California does. California regulations has led to oil refineries to close, tightening the supply demand gap. The governors of Nevada and Arizona have written letters to Newsome that California regulations threaten supply and spiking gas prices. It is also a national security concern as those refineries supply jet fuel to the military and even commercial aviation.

China does not build high speed rail through mountains, marshes, and deserts. I have been on their high speed rail from Shanghai to Beijing, three hours one way. The Japanese can and do through mountains, but it is very limited. Countries with high speed rail keep their lines to mostly flat areas as it is most efficient. They do not go over mountains but they will bore through them. Even then it is very limited short distances.

Using Google as a source for your argument is not a very smart thing to do. Try better.

    2. X, let me get this straight. The Chinese could build the train to No where better than Captain Newsom.
So you’re agreeing that Newsom is running California inefficiently. Wow 31,000 miles of Track in China compared 140,000 miles of track in the U.S. What you’re really saying is China is inefficient but that Newsom is even more inefficient. Germany has 24,500 miles of high speed railroads. California has none. Thanks for clearing that up for us. I know, these pesky facts just get in the way of your thinking.

      1. Anonymous, Dbag is your answer to the facts that I found on Google comparing the high speed railroad system of Germany and California. Now that there answer is just brimming with sagacity and wit. As usual you reveal the little mice on the treadmill in your head. Maybe you should feed them a bigger ration of chess.
The BTU level they’re producing is dangerously low. How’s that for a better criticism than Dbag witless.

      1. He could kill the project… But it would be admitting defeat since he’s been such a strong proponent of it.

Instead, he’s going to continue to dig, lie, and spin – like he is doing here.

      2. Common sense would dictate such a move , but the party and it’s apparatchiks make too much cash on this not dead cow yet , and they would never admit defeat if they thought they could loot yet even more and put even a modicum of lipstick on that dead pig.

    3. So don’t blame Newsom because high speed was started before him…

      *checks notes*

      Blame Trump?

      🤦

        1. Plenty of blame to go around. However, the initial concept wasn’t completely horrible, even though most Californians wouldn’t adjust their travel to train over air from LA to SF.

Newsom’s judgment should be further called into question, especially considering Merced to Wasco is worthless.

Uber drivers in Wasco will love this though.

I would love for a reporter to ask Newsom, and anyone else in favor of this project… If you had $10 billion as a net worth, would you invest all of that into this project? Why, or why not?

          1. M.M. — For executives and engineers, time is precious. So it depends on how far (long) one must travel to reach LAX, the wait time from checking in until boarding, and how loong one waits for luggage to be delivered to the pickup area. So the train from downtown to downtown could be faater.

            1. David, the bullet train was designed to connect San Francisco to Los Angeles (via the Central Valley) in under 3 hours (specifically, a target of 2 hours and 40 minutes).

The trains were expected to travel at speeds up to 220 mph, with the full Phase 1 system covering 494 miles from San Francisco to Anaheim.

No way Union station parking or travel to it in LA makes it faster to SF than an hour flight.

    4. “Newsome and tying him up with the the California high speed rail project that started long before he come into office. ”
Correct – the CA governor at the time was “governor moonbeam” – Jerry Brown.
The Lt. Gov. was ….. Gavin Newsome.

“Yes, it’s overdue, expensive, and mired in bureaucracy, politics, and profiteering. Big surprise. ”
All correct – as everyone sane predicted from the start.
And there is no end in sight.
Its cost so far is a very large portion fo CA’s debt.

Is there anyone that actually expects it will be completed ?

“That seems to be a story that is not exclusive to California”
Correct, it is very rare for a govenrment project not to exceed its budget by a factor of 10 atleast.

But the CA HS rail is a boondoggle of never before seen proportions.
Please name any other vastly overrun incomplete governmetn project claose to this much of a boondoogle.
Sorry – Newsome has been part of this from the start,
      It is HIS albatross.

“Turley is taking advantage of to gratuitiously smear Governor Newsome, because he’s a Democrat.”
No because this is just ANOTHE
R example of Newsomes failures. The list is incredibly long.

“Never mind the various expensive policy failures of the Trump administration,”
      Like ?

” the fake deals and stopping of wars no one has ever heard of between countries he can’t pronounce. ”
The fact that you have not heard of the countries or the wars does not mean they do not exist.

“When China can build world class high speed rail reaching 12,000 miles of track, infrastructure, and efficient operation within 10 years makes us look like a bunch of idiot contractors still haggling over the blueprints and material costs.”
While it is absolutely true that China’s HS rail is not nearly the boondoggle that CA’s is.
It is however a monstrously expensive boondoggle that China could not afford and that is dramatically underutilized.

But atleast unlikely CA – after wasting hundreds of billions – China has something to show for it.
Not something worth what was spent, but not pretty close to the nothing that CA has.

“It’s clear that here in the U.S. any major infrastructure project takes years when it should take months.”
Correct – that is mostly a function of stupid left wing nut regulations.

The Transcontinental railroad was 1911 miles long, cost 4.4B in 2025 dollars to build and was completed in 5 years.

“Near where I live, the state has spent nearly 5 years building a simple overpass exchange.”
      But it did get built.

“I’ve watched with amazement a similar sized highway exchange built in a months in China.”
And china also has innumerable collapses of major projects all the time.

China’s state of the art Nuclear sub – sank in the Yangtzee – likely having a cascading failure due to poor construction of MULTIPLE systems, and
has leaked radioactive Iodine into the river that has now reached the phlipines. That iodine has gotten into billions of fish and will cause innumerable cancer deaths accross the paciffic rim as the idodine concentrates in peoples thyroid.

Nor are chinese construction project catastrophic failures limited to China.
Myriads of countries have seen massive failures of chinese belt and road projects.

“We have a ridiculous number of environmental regualations, studies”
      Absolutely agree.

“seeking the lowerst bidder who will use the least amount of workers and take the longest time to build.”
Alot of US contracting is NOT “low bidder”,
There are problems in US construction projects – especially government consttuction projects,
But I have personally overseen the construction of $100M schools completed on time and on budgets by the lowest bidder.
The architectural practice I was part of constructed billions of dollars in projects over the course of 30 years.
We almost never went over budget and almost always completed construction on time. More than half those projects were public schools with contracts awarded to the lowest bidder.
MOST contractors want to complete projects ahead of schedule if possible.
Labor is typically 40% of the cost of a project and the faster you complete the project the lower the labor costs.

Construction failures of US projects are EXTREMELY rare – and therefore often incredibly famous.
Pretty much all such failures happen decades after construction. On RARE occasions design flaws are found,
but most often the problem is poor maintanance of older structures.

Outside of government boondoggles like the CA HSR project – which was an entirely predictable disaster.
The US construction industry builds high quality on time and on budget. Public projects tend to cost more than private ones (and be of poorer quality) but not twice as expensive – much less 100 times as expensive

The giant disasters are pretty much always publicly funded white elephants.

“We want the kind of unfrastructure China is building”
Absolutely positively NO WE DO NOT.

Pretty much all of what China is building will have to be replaced in very short order.
The Chinese do NOT build as well as the US did a century ago.

“We could literally buy an entire high speed rail system from China and pay them to build it for us.

And kill thousands of people a year as bridges collapse and trains derail.
China as an abysmal record for quality construction.

They tried to copy a russia jet engine starting a decade ago – and they MIGHT have figured out how to get it working within the past year or so.
There is pretty good evidence that a significant portion of China’s hypersonic rockets are fueled with Water.

Chinese construtction projects in china and accross he world fail with regularity often killing thousands of people.

“Of course we would be too proud to ask for help from the more experienced Chinese”
      ROFL

      “Japanese”
The japanese actually do know what they are doing – but even they piled on massive amounts of debt to build their infrastructure projects.
Most of the famous Japanese high speed rail was really failed efforts at economic stimulus – but atleast they got a train out of it.

Further japan is a more rugged country than the US and can not easily build major airports everywhere they need them – to a lessor extent that is true of Europe, thouhg more because their land has been in use for centuries and it is hard to buy up the land for an airport.

China does actually have reasonably decent internal air travel options.

Regardless, Europe and Japan build HS rail because they have had rail right of ways for centuries, and that is FOR THEM the most efficient way to impliment long distance travel.

The US actually has the worlds BEST rail system – but it is for Freight. US passenger trains started failing post WWII – with the advent of afforable air travel and massively improved cars and roads.
in the US there 91% of households have a car.
In the EU that is 50%. Further the US car ownership has been high for decades.
The US has an interstate system that covers the entire nation.
There are only a few roads in Europe the equivalent of a US interstate.
I traveled the entirety of Ireland by car over 2 weeks of my honeymoon.
It was wonderful. But with extremely few exceptions they roads were at best “back roads” – even in the cities roads were narrower and much slower. I remember being shocked when on my way out of dublin I hit a stretch of 4 lane divided highway – and 3 miles later it came to an end.

The US has much lower population density in much of the country than much of Europe.
      Trains make far less sense.

In the US we send freight by train, we use freight to subsidize our passenger lines and still they lose money.

There are a FEW exceptional places in the US where passenger trans make sense – but outside of a small part of the east coast,
it is much easier and cheaper for americans to fly.

No the Europeans could not build the US HS rail – while it IS likely they have more experience with HS rail than we do,
That is NOT the fundamental problem

The HUGE problem is there are incredibly few places in the US were HS rail is competitive with air travel.

As another poster noted – there is a private HS rail in FL, and the US has HS rail along the BOSWASH corridor.

These are places that make economic sense – we can not significatnly increase air traffic in those regions and we have centuries old right of ways.

At the same time we are Speed limited – because it is non-trivial or even impossible to take 2 century old right of ways designed for much lower speeds and make them faster.
We can not shut down tracks, we can not straighten curves.

Look at the difference between the cost of interstate constriction in US cities and most anywhere else.

With few exceptions the US can maintain our Interstate system – including widening and improving it affordably – because most of it is NOT in highly congested areas. Look what the “Big Dig” in Boston cost ?

Regardless left wing nuts in theis country keep trying to make the US into Europe – ignorant of the fact that conditions are significantly different here.

The oldest cities in the US were built MANY centuries after those of Europe. I live in a city of 60K people that is one of the oldest inland cities on the east coast. All the roads are atleast two full lanes wide with an additional 2 lanes of parking.

In the US the cost per passenger mile is:
      Driving (Car/Truck) 25.0 cents
      Air Travel 13.8 cents
      Amtrak (Train) 38 cents
      Public Transit 30 cents

Unless you are a moron you can easily see why americans fly long distances and drive everything else.

And I am pretty sure the figures for Public transit and Amtrak are understated.

      1. Over dinner, one of the few experts in HS rails told us she was asked to advise California on that route and told them it was absolutely not feasible. She described what was needed for HS rails and that there were only a limited number of places in the country where it might work.

      2. Yet another completely incomprehensible, incoherent diatribe by the lunatic John Say.

I repeat what I have said in previous comment yesterday.
This is nothing more than the incoherent rambling of a profoundly mentally ill individual standing on a street corner and screaming at passersby.
You will note that it is simply a series of completely disconnected random thoughts that flitter unfiltered through his impaired mind.
The inability to filter his thoughts into a logical argument is s sign of a deeply disturbed individual.
The clinical term is pressure of thought and pressure of speech. He has an uncontrollable urge to give voice to any random thought that occurs to him. This is the typical presentation of someone suffering from bipolar disorder.

Yesterday, I suggested that this rambling incoherence is a clinical sign of bipolar disorder.
In response, John Say went to extreme lengths to deny this diagnosis, with multiple attempts at denial.
But more interestingly, he also denied suffering from schizophrenia, which I never actually mentioned in my comment.

The fact that he also denied schizophrenia is clearly a Freudian slip.
Clearly an admission by him that he actually suffers from schizophrenia.

Note that yesterday he also said, “I do not have either Bipolar disorder or Schitzophrenia, though neither diagnosis would discredit my arguments.”
Clearly another admission, and an attempt to rationalize his mental illness.

This admission is made all the more obvious by the fact that yesterday he went to extraordinary lengths to describe how many great historical figures, that he describes as geniuses, may have suffered from mental illness.
This is clearly yet another an attempt to rationalize the mental illness that he has now freely acknowledged.

“Methinks he doth protest too much”.

        1. “Yet another completely incomprehensible, incoherent diatribe by the lunatic John Say.”
I am not going to pretend to read your mind and claim you understood every word.
But I will bet I can find lots of people with an IQ over 80 who would.

“This is nothing more than the incoherent rambling of a profoundly mentally ill individual standing on a street corner and screaming at passersby.”
Probably not, but comparing apples to oranges is meaningless.

“You will note that it is simply a series of completely disconnected random thoughts that flitter unfiltered through his impaired mind.”
No it is a point by point dismemberment of X’s post.
The structure and topic is entirely determined by the long list of stupid errors that X made.

If you want more order to my rebuttle – put more order to your posts.

“The inability to filter his thoughts into a logical argument is s sign of a deeply disturbed individual.
The clinical term is pressure of thought and pressure of speech. He has an uncontrollable urge to give voice to any random thought that occurs to him. This is the typical presentation of someone suffering from bipolar disorder.”
          Not this stupid argument again.
No I am not bipolar, nor Schizophrenic which is the other disorder associated with your idiotic claims.
Nor would that be an argument as I pointed out there are plenty of genius’s that were schizophrenic and even more that were bipolar.

Your a moron who engages in idiotic amateur psychology that you are clueless about, and pretends it is argument – it is not.

“Yesterday, I suggested that this rambling incoherence is a clinical sign of bipolar disorder.
In response, John Say went to extreme lengths to deny this diagnosis, with multiple attempts at denial.”
Actually no I did not go to extremely lengths to deny being bipolar. I simply said I am not.
Which is true. I have known many people who are bipolar – and who are incredibly productive geniuses.
I do not consider being called bipolar an insult, nor would it be a meaningful critique of my writing.

Chucrchill is generally considered to have been bipolar – and his writting is excellent – have you read him ?
I have read most of what he has written.
Regardless, bipolar disorder has specific symptoms – inability to think and write clearly NOT being among them.
I do not have those symptoms.
You can beleive or disbeleive that – I could care less.

I have been diagnoses innumerable ways by left wig nut idiots such as yourself.
Perhaps you should coordinate as none of you can even come up with a consistent diagnosis.
Regardless, my mental health is exceptionally good.

“But more interestingly, he also denied suffering from schizophrenia, which I never actually mentioned in my comment.”
You did not – but that is the more common cause for the idiotic claim that you made in your post.
I can not help it if you are unfamiliar with the actual causes of the mental health disorders that you project on others.

“The fact that he also denied schizophrenia is clearly a Freudian slip.
Clearly an admission by him that he actually suffers from schizophrenia.”
          ROFL

“Note that yesterday he also said, “I do not have either Bipolar disorder or Schitzophrenia, though neither diagnosis would discredit my arguments.”
Clearly another admission, and an attempt to rationalize his mental illness.”
In what idiotic would is FALSE TRUE ?
Do you actually think about the stupid things you say ?
You are free to disbeleive me.
But when you claim that saying FALSE means TRUE – YOU are lying.
          You are also stupid lying.

“This admission is made all the more obvious by the fact”
          That there was ZERO admission.
Look I do not give a schiff what you think about my mental health.
You are free to beleive whatever stupid things you wish to beleive.
But all you are doing is making yourself look stupid.

“that yesterday he went to extraordinary lengths to describe how many great historical figures, that he describes as geniuses, may have suffered from mental illness.”
I can not recall the entire list but are you saying that Newton and Nash, and Churchill were NOT geniuses ?
It is NOT I that describe then as geniuses – they are RECOGNIZED as geniuses.
Regardless MY POINT is that while your diagnosis is FALSE
it is also FALLACIOUS – i.e. NOT AN ARGUMENT.
You can not reject the argument of someone purely because you imagine they have a mental disorder.
You can not reject argement even from people who DO have mental disorders.

All you are doing is the worst possible form of ad hominem.

Attack the person, not the argument.

“This is clearly yet another an attempt to rationalize the mental illness that he has now freely acknowledged.”
          ROFL

“Methinks he doth protest too much”.
Me thinks you are a moron.

I do not give a schiff if idiots like you think I have a mental disorder.
It does not change the FACT that ad hominem is NOT AN ARGUMENT.
Though it is a sign of a weak mind and poor character.

I have as good a reason to be confident that I am neither bipolar nor schitzophrenic as I do to conclude I am not paraplegic.

At the same time – I DO NOT CARE – I am happy, successful, productive, I have a good and comfortable life, and a wonderful family. that is very uncommon for people with mental health issues – in fact psychology defines mental health as being happy, successful, productive having a good life, being comfortable, and having good relationships.

But if in some alternate universe I was also bipolar or schizophrenic – I would not care.

NOW DO YOU HAVE AN ARGUMENT ?

Or are you just a vile moron that gets off on lying and insulting people ?

          1. Hmmmm!!!!!

More than a little defensive here.
Obviously, I have struck a nerve.
The more you try to convince us that you are a normal, sane, rational individual, the more it becomes obvious that there is something seriously wrong with you. In fact, I wonder if this excessively defensive response is really an attempt to convince yourself that there is nothing wrong with you.

I find it interesting that you say, “I have known many people who are bipolar”. This is rather unusual. The vast majority of people do not know anyone with bipolar disorder, but you apparently know many. Perhaps you know them from the group therapy sessions arranged by your psychiatrist.
            Clearly another Freudian slip.

I also find it interesting that you say, “No I am not bipolar, nor Schizophrenic which is the other disorder associated with your idiotic claims.”
How do you know that pressure of thought and pressure of speech are symptoms of bipolar disorder as well as schizophrenia? This is in fact true, but it is not common knowledge that would be known by most lay people. How do you know this? Perhaps, because your psychiatrist has explained this to you.
            Clearly, yet another Freudian slip.

Your repeated statements about your “exceptionally good mental health” and “successful productive life” are obviously efforts to convince yourself that you are normal. Normal people do not feel the need to go to such excessive lengths to prove that they are normal.

As I previously said when I quoted Shakespeare.

“Methinks he doth protest too much”

(if you don’t know what that means, I suggest you look it up)

            1. “More than a little defensive here.
Obviously, I have struck a nerve.”

Not the slightest defensive – I am on the offense against a moron who does not know to quit before making an even bigger fool of themselves.

“The more you try to convince us”
              What “us” ?
You and a few left wing nuts who can not agree on a diagnosis for someone you have not met, and who know just enough about psychology to shoot your foot off ? Would that be “us”

Or do you have a mouse in your pocket.

Regardless, you speak for YOURSELF – and maybe a few left wing nuts that almost no one gives a schiff about.

“that you are a normal, sane, rational individual, the more it becomes obvious that there is something seriously wrong with you. ”
I do not need to convince you or anyone else of my mental health.
While I have asserted – with evidence that it is excellent,
I have also correctly pointed out that is irrelevant to any argument.

Your the one off in lala land trying to avoid making a counter argument – because you have none
By engaging in stupid ad hominem.

I merely decided to go on the offensive and allow you to make an even bigger fool of yourself.

“In fact, I wonder if this excessively defensive response is really an attempt to convince yourself that there is nothing wrong with you.”
              ROFL,
Do you left wing nuts have any other ability to argue besides ad hominem and mind reading ?

“I find it interesting that you say, “I have known many people who are bipolar”. This is rather unusual. The vast majority of people do not know anyone with bipolar disorder, but you apparently know many. ”

Maybe you should think before you post.

“Approximately 2.6% of the U.S. population aged 18 and older is affected by bipolar disorder each year, which translates to about 5.7 million adult Americans. ”
There were nearly 300 people in my HS graduating class – likely 8 of them were bipolar.
My college graduating class was about 1200, probably 30 of them were bipolar.
              Need I go on ?

If you do not know many people who are bipolar – then you are blind to the world arround you.

BTW according to NIMH about 26% of americans suffer from some mental health disorder.
One of the largest single group is depressive disorders (anxiety is #1 and a combination fo anxiety and depression is common) – of which BiPolar is one of the more severe.

Further 1% of people have schitzophrenia.

If you do NOT know someone who has bipolar disorder AND someone who has schitzophenia,
Then you are blind to the world around you.

“Perhaps you know them from the group therapy sessions arranged by your psychiatrist.
              Clearly another Freudian slip.”
              ROFL logic eludes you.

“How do you know that pressure of thought and pressure of speech are symptoms of bipolar disorder as well as schizophrenia? ”
Because the DSM-5 – Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition says so.

“This is in fact true, but it is not common knowledge that would be known by most lay people. How do you know this?”
Because I am well educated and well read – and I remember the things I have learned.
I had an advanced course in psychology as well as sociology in HS, Because I took both as electives in College – as well as multiple philosophy, math, logic, science, art and a significant minor in computer science in addition to my major in Architecture.

“Perhaps, because your psychiatrist has explained this to you.”
The only time I have seen a psychiatrist is when I adopted my children – it was one of many requirements that anyone adopting in my state at that time had to meet. I saw her twice and she diagnosed me as NORMAL.

              “Clearly, yet another Freudian slip.”
You appear to know nothing about either Freud or Freudian slips.

“Your repeated statements about your “exceptionally good mental health” and “successful productive life” are obviously efforts to convince yourself that you are normal. Normal people do not feel the need to go to such excessive lengths to prove that they are normal.”
I have not gone to great lengths. I have been DOXed here before, you can find me in the real world easy enough if you wish.

“As I previously said when I quoted Shakespeare.”
              No you misquoted shakespeare.
The phrase is “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”
and it is from Hamlet – have you read it ?
I have probably read all of Shakespeare’s plays., and seen atleast a dozen different versions of hamlet.
Who played Hamlet in Kirk Browning’s Hamlet ?

              Please keep this up.

Keep making even more of a fool of yourself.

Keep pretending you can read minds.
Diagnose people you never met over the internet
have a clue about actual psychology – or any of myriads of other topics.

You are completely incapable of logic and critical thinking,

You can not even manage to get past the most common and most obvious of logical fallacies – ad hominem.

I doubt you know anything about freud or Shakespeare, Much less, Jung, Skinner, Rogers, Milgram, Maslow, Berne,…

            2. The above sounds like the one previously known as Dr. Fraud. He attacks and leaves quickly with his tail between his legs. That’s all he’s got there.

      3. John Say, your trove of information is appreciated by those here who also have been around the world a bit and who also appreciate actual experience-gained knowledge over ignorance-driven missives.

Something I long ago purloined from a now-forgotten source, something several of those posting here (and, unfortunately) commonly posting elsewhere need to ponder:

        1. A fact is information without emotion.
        2. An opinion is information plus experience.
        3. Ignorance is an opinion lacking information.
        4. Stupidity is an opinion which ignores fact.

        1. You are just as insane and demented as John Say.
The only “trove of information” he provides is a few Youtube videos from cranks and the “information” he gets from the voices in his head.

          1. Just pi$$ all over everyone – should we whip out the DSM-5 and diagnose you ? I am sure i have a copy in my library.

I share Youtube videos, because most left wing nuts are too lazy to read.
With respect to the videos – insult the people who made the videos – that is the typical falacious argument of those of you on the left.
            Ad hominem rather than substance.

But I do not offer them for WHO produced them, but for the information contained.
Such as clips of actual testimony of election officials under oath.

If Hitler produced a video with clips of election officials admitting fraud under oath – that is still evidence.

Regardless DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, and if you are wise – ignore the WHO, ignore the OPINION, and focus on the facts, the law, they arguments. Those are what matters.

and if you do not understand that – which clearly you don’t, then I am sure we can find a section of the DSM-5 that fits you perfectly.

        2. Thank you.

But do not concern yourself about either idiots like the ATS above or my mental health.
I do appreciate the fact that you take value from my remarks.

But contra ATS I have incredibly think skin, and a strong sense of my self that has never required the approval of others.
Not that I do not appreciate it – we all do.

But I have been used to from a very young age seeing things differently than most, and nearly always proving right when everyone claims I am wrong.

      4. “Construction failures of US projects are EXTREMELY rare”

Let me provide you with a construction failure that was corrected almost by accident, so it didn’t fail. Had a hurricane come to NY in a certain direction and speed, they would have had to evacuate a huge portion of Manhattan. CityBank building.

    5. ….”That seems to be a story that is not exclusive to California and Turley is taking advantage of to gratuitiously smear Governor Newsome, because he’s a Democrat”.

      Pssstttt…Turley’s also a Democrat.

Other than that, your “Whataboutism” to Trump is your typical weak sauce ‘contribution’.

You have a special talent for using an excessive amount of words to say absolutely nothing. Congrats.

    6. WE have as of yet not seen this explode – but a MAJOR shift in US may occur in the near future as Musks “the boring company” works towards reducing the cost of tunnelling dramatically.

The Key Bridge in Baltimore was knocked down creating a mess for years.
I wondered Why Musk did not offer to replace it with tunnels.

Another fantastic opotuntiy for Musk would be connecting manhattan to the other borroughs and to Jersey city.
It would be pretty trivil to just connect the roads on either side of the hudson and east river
Even a single lane each way times 50-100 streets would radically improve travel in NYC.

Musk appears to be more focused on longer distance tunnels.

Though my understanding is he has used tunnels to connect his factories in TX.

The cost of the Chunnel was enormous, but the benefits substantial.

There is litttle doubt to the value that tunnelling can provide – but the feasability of any tunnel depends on both the economic value and the cost for the tunneling.

Reduce tunnelling costs – and you will see LOTS more.

      1. ” radically improve travel in NYC.”

John, a small strip of the Second Avenue subway was recently built by a company using some type of boring machine (Musk or another). Do you think that saved money? No. NYC paid for the machinery and what it would have cost in labor had human laborers done the work. You might want to look up the stats on the second avenue subway to see how high the costs were. I did so when it was completed, and I was shocked.

        1. SM – It would not surprise me that NYC would screw things up – that is nothing new.
Do you know that the Brooklyn bridge was the first major bridge int he US built with public money ?
It did not start that way. It started as a privately financed project, but Boss Tweed and Tammany hall had to have their fingers in everything and the cost of getting the project completed was including them. As the cables were being run Roebling found that the cables were significantly out of spec and defective – Tamany Hall. but the cabling went forward anyway. Roebling had anticipated the corruption and over designed the cables. The Brooklyn bridge was also the only suspension bridge on earth until recently with diagonals.
Until recently we did not have the math to design them – now we are seeing more and more suspension bridges with ONLY diagonals.
Washington Roebling who constructed the Brooklynn Bridge was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute – as am I.

Regardless, though “The Boring company” does not get the attention of other Musk endeavors, he is working to reduce the cost of tunneling by more than an order of magnitude – and if he manages that – he can radically change many things.
Musk has reduced the cost per Kg of putting things into orbit by several orders of magnitude.

          1. John, if you are interested in some history involving the construction of bridges, roadways, etc., and haven’t already read it, read the “Power Brokers.” It is about Robert Moses and how he built NY roadway systems all the way to Niagara Falls, providing history and the politics, though little having to do with the precise engineering of these projects. He was one of the most powerful men at the time in the nation, but few recognize the scope of his power and that he did it without personal financial gain. A most fascinating read.

    7. yet, as Governor one would “think” I PERFER EXPECT, that a sitting governor would address waste ( over budget & way behind schedule ) and make IMMEDIATE CHANGES . . . basically put his signature on a project, legislation, vision for the future. INSTEAD this gov. GREASY Gavin NewSCUM let’s his constituents BURN to the GROUND and quickly blames others . . . and let’s not forget he willingly slept multiple times with his best friend’s, ( also his campaign manager ) WIFE . . . but he apologized so all is just fine . . . AGRO yourself NewSCUM . . .

    8. re: “When China can build world class …”

But, tofu dreg to the hilt. I suggest you investigate that angle. More and more infrastructure crumbles weekly in China.

Recall the under-construction government building which collapsed a few months back during an earthquake (where no other buildings collapsed), and just this past week a large bridge under construction collapsed … YT channel “The China Show” point out these failures each week.

    9. Is that you Noosie? And, by the way, what the Hell does Trump or his administration have to do with California failures?

  11. New Documents etc on the GA 2020 election are confirming that
Raffensberger lied to the public when he said that there were audits, recounts, signature verification, …

    These did not occur.
The ONLY “audit” of any kind I am aware of is the random selection of 5000 mailin ballots from Cobb county for signature verification – and these revealed a 6% mismatch rate using the increadibly poor 2-% standard that Raffensberger claimed was used everywhere and a 0.6% fraud rate.

We are also getting emails now, related to GBI The elections division of GBI was told by Gov. Kemp and Reffensberger that they should NOT investigate allegations of election fraud.
Subsequently the head of that division was appointed as a state Judge by Kemp.
Further a MacAffee who was a State IG looking at election integrity, chose not to investigate a claim of 10,000 illegal votes, and he too was subsequently appointed a Judge by Gov. Kemp.

He was the judge on the Fanni Wilson case.

There is also an allegation that the Fix was in on the Fanni Wilson case. While Wilson was serious about prosecuting it, One of the lawyers for one of the defendants, NOT Trump had announced that his defense strategy was going to be to PROVE there was election Fraud.
That is a legitimate defence, and he would have had subpeona power to explore GA election fraud. The Claim is that Raffensberger, and Kemp
and MacAffee and others “managed” the Wilson Election case to assure that it NEVER came to trial and NEVER got to a point where defense attorneys could subpeona election records.
That claim is NOT proven at this point, nor is some quid pro quo regarding MacAffi and the GBI person. But it is Proven that people who helped stop fraud investigations later received appointments.

I would further note that the reason that GA is the epicenter for the FBI 2020 election fraud investigation – as opposed to other swing states, is because The Willis case resulted in orders to preserve records. Federal law requires election records to be retained for 22 months. But because Willis started a criminal trial – there are records preservation orders for everything related to the 2020 election.

This is also why the FBI is acting now – The election interferance case against Trump and co was very recently finally dropped, and without the FBI acting, records would start getting destroyed.

    1. “New Documents etc on the GA 2020 election are confirming that”

What are these new documents, and where can we find them?

        1. You confirm that Anonymous people on this blog aren’t up to date and know very little. John produced sources, and as usual, you look like a fool.

          1. I just to be clear I have not produced my original source.
I just did a quick search when you asked and linked the first couple of things I ound.
Some included information I was not yet aware of, but did not include some of the information I cited.

Regardless I am expecting we will hear ALOT more on this soon.

The big deal is that the criminal charges against Trump REQUIRED GA to preserve the evidence – otherwise it would have all been destroyed.
And the criminal case was dropped a month ago – so many records are now available that were under seal.
Not to mention the FBI raiding FC.

But FC is just the epicenter of the fraud. There are things being found ALL OVER GA.

I would further note that despite the damning claims regarding Kemp and Raffensberger – it is likely that GA conducted a LESS corrupt election than MI, PA, WI, or NV.

            1. ” just to be clear I have not produced my original source.”

I understand that sometimes we can’t produce original sources, but when you can, let me know. Thank you for soiurcing some of the stuff that can be seen.

              1. I can produce the original source, I would just have to go through my browser history.
But that is not as easy as it sounds. Right now I have 13 browser windows open – each covering a different topic, and between 20 and 50 tabs in each window.

When you asked I did a search in youtube – as I beleive the information came from a youtube video,
Though aparently there are articles in the federalist, and the hill, and I beleive Just The News has been covering this.

Further searching anywhere for GA election fraud produces pages and pages of hits on Fanni Willis.

My recollection is that my primary source is a report presented to the GA senate recently that GA State Senator Dolzeal has been featuring.

Though there is LOTS coming from many sources.

The GA Senate has a committee that is investigating.
The GA state election board has been investigating – that is where they recent testimony regarding 315K uncertified votes came from.
There are only TWO claims that if proven could demonstrate beyond ANY doubt that Trump won in 2020,
That is actual recounts of the REAL ballots.
Or finding a large enough number of clearly duplicate ballot images that were counted.

All of the other claims – even if proven can tell you how large fraud and lawlessness was, but they can not tell you with certainty how that would effect the vote totals.

Why ? Because as an example – there is excellent evidence that about 100,000 votes were cast in GA that never should have been allowed – people not legally allowed to vote for a variety of reasons – like being dead, or no longer living in the state,
But proving that – which is easy, does not prove how they voted.

The cobb country random signature audit established that approx 6% of all GA mailin ballots did not meet the very low legal threshold of a 20% signature match – we know from the AZ audit that AZ accepted mailin ballots with no signatures, with X as the signature, and with signatures that were completely different people than the ballot was for. That thousands of ballots appeared to be signed by the same small number of people. – againb often signing the wrong name.

In GA we also know that beyond signature mismatch that invalidates the ballot, that 0.6% of the random audit were clearly Fraud.
But AGAIN – knowing that a ballot that never should have been accepted got counted, does not mean you can find that ballot and remove it.

Secret ballot state constitutional requirements – which also make mailin voting unconstitutional, make it impossible to connect an actual ballot back to the person who illegally cast it.
That is deliberate and it prevents buying or extorting votes.

                1. “But that is not as easy as it sounds.”

                  I believe you.

We must have in-person voting over one day using paper ballots and rules to keep the ballots secure. If that were done, I think Trump would have won 2020 in a landslide.

      1. There are numerous sources reporting on these, One of the large ones is a GA Senate investigation.

Further I expect we are very early on this.

Willis trying to prosecute Trump as well as a few other lawsuites REQUIRED GA to presever 2020 election documents in a way that did not occur elsewhere.

At the same time the lawsuits and Willis case itself PREVENTED much of this from being made public.

The Trump case was just dropped a month or so ago, and that is making it possible to unseal or otherwise gain access to LOTS of documents.

I will provide you some links next time I trip over them.

        1. Thanks. I think we are going to find the answers and embarrass a lot of politicians and MSM. I don’t know that anything will happen. So far, we are asking the right questions, but don’t yet have the needed proof.

          1. it does not matter if anything happens.

The impact on people is what matters.

Republicans appear committed to passing the SAVE act – even if they have to deal with a Democrat speaking filibuster to pass it.
While support for Voter ID is about 75% among DEMOCRATS,
all the ammunition that we can get will be necessary.

We need to end Mail in voting.
We need to end early voting – but that will not happen.
We need to end no excuse absentee voting.
We need to make all voting records public.

            This was impractical long ago.
            Today it is not.

GA has 6M voters, if each ballot scan is 100K,

That means you could fit ALL ballots scans for GA on a 600GB USB stick.
Or download them from the Web in 10 minutes.

If you make the raw voting records public – you do not need recounts and audits – people will do it for us.

The most important voter integrity measure is publicly available election data at the lowest possible level.

we do not as an example have laws governing the Secretary of State adds the tallies from various precincts – because the media will have that done before the state.

BTW one of the other GA claims is numerous places with MORE ballots counted than voters voting.

Again information that if made public automatically would improve election integrity.

The more information that allows independent verification of election officials the more likely fraud gets found quickly and caught.

            1. “The most important voter integrity measure is publicly available election data at the lowest possible level.”

              Exactly.

        2. John Say
In other words, you are getting this information from your usual source.
          The voices in your head.

      2. This is a different source than I used – the interesting parts are at about 5min and about 12min

        1. Thanks for the time stamps. The first one demonstrates physical proof that the Georgia election probably should not have been certified until that question was removed.

We need people who are willing to combine the videos, such as this one, showing just the pertinent things, and a link to the source. Enough put together, even if not yet legal proof, is proof that the State of Georgia was likely negligent or corrupt.

      3. This is also not my source,
it is very long, and I know nothing of the youtube channel.
I would ignore the channel commentary,
But there are numerous places were he releases video – some of it new of suspicious conduct in GA,
or testimony – again some of it new about conduct in GA.

        1. John Say

          Let me get this straight.
You make assertions about “new documents” proving misconduct in the Georgia election, without any source for these assertions.
When asked to provide a source, you state that there are “numerous sources” which you do not provide, but simply state, “I will provide you some links next time I trip over them”.
Then you post a couple of Youtube videos from a couple of of online cranks who are providing second or third “information”, but you state that they are “not actually your sources.”

So what exactly is your point in posting material that are “not actually your sources”.
          What are your sources ???

I say again, your only source of information is the voices in your head, as is usually the case in all your insane comments.

          1. So you think video of under oath testimony, or clips of election officials pocketing USB sticks from election tabulators,
or State Senators reporting on the results of their investigations is cranks are voices in my head ?

FC has already admitted under oath that 315K votes were counted without being certified.
While it is possible that is a mere technical violation of the law.
It is still a violation of the law, and those votes could not legally be counted.

If the GA courts had done their job – they would have accepted a court challenge, it would have quickly been determined whether those votes just came out of thin air or if there were actual ballots to correspond to the tally sheets,
Then those actual ballots could have been counted – and we would know if this was just a technical violation of the law, or evidence of large scale fraud.

We have election laws for a reason – to assure that results can be trusted.

When the counts from tabulators and the records of the tabulators being zeroed before being used are not signed. that means there is no person SWEARING they oversaw the counting and it was done properly and accurately
We do not even know if the counting was done at all.

I would note that SCOTUS just ruled that Every candidate has standing to challenge an election.
While that decision is not retroactive it means nearly all of the 70+ cases that you claim trump lost have been effectively reversed.

            Standing was improperly denied.

    2. . I read at the time 12 000 ballots were destroyed in Fulton County until Raffensperger said stop. Fulton County said the law doesn’t say we can’t destroy them. My only additional info, JS.

      I can’t cite reference because I can’t recall.

      1. There are DOZENS of allegations of malfeasance and misconduct that are starting to surface.

It is LIKELY that some of these will prove false – but NOT all.

This is not the source I used, but it still a source – while the first 9 minutes are interesting a long list of serious allegations of election fraud starts at 9 minutes.

        1. Incredible!

I know this is happening, but I don’t have the time to listen to so many videos. Thanks.

        2. John Say

You are clearly out of your mind.
You have now posted 3 Youtube videos from online cranks who claim misconduct in the Georgia election, while simultaneously claiming that these videos are not actually your sources for your original claim that “new documents” have come to light.

So far the only “evidence” you have provided is these stupid videos.

What is the actual source of your claims ???

I know, I know, it is the voices in your head.

          1. Typical left wing nut – substitute ad hominem for argument.

It is Irrelevant WHO produced the videos. Nor is it relevant what the OPINION of those who provided the videos is.
What is relevant is the clips in the videos citing.
Testimony of fraud or illegality by election officials UNDER OATH
Clips of ballots being counted outside of secure official election counting rooms and without any election observers present as required by law.
Clips of election officials removing USB sticks from tabulators and putting them in their pockets.
Clips of reporters or state senators visiting PO Boxes, or businesses or other illegal locations where hundreds of registered voters list as their address.
Clips of reports to the GA election commission or the GA State senate committe on elections detailing the numbrs of ballots received by various catagories of people who could not leaggally vote – dead, out of state, under age, not citizens, …
Clips of reports showing precincts with more votes counted than people who voted.
subpeona’d emails and election documents showing that Kemp and Raffensberger were making claims to the public that were false.
That the GBI did NOT investigate any claims of Fraud,
That most of the audits, recanvasses, recounts that Raffensberger claimed happened did not.
Tallies that show in those instances where recounts did eventually take place that multiple recounts each produced results often different by nearly 1000

        3. It is becoming increasingly obvious that John Say spends his entire day in his basement, watching Youtube videos, with occasional breaks to post his insanely incoherent comments here.

          1. John appreciates your comment. No reasonable person questions his credibility, yet you, who neither know him nor contribute anything of value, do. He stands in a position beyond your reach, leaving you no option but character assassination.

            1. Ya gotta love the way these MAGA cultists stick together to defend the indefensible ramblings of their fellow believers.
One of the defining features of a cult is the unthinking devotion to the cause and the defense of their fellow believers, no matter the absurdity of their proclamations, and the obvious self-contradictory statements.

              1. ((((((((YAWN)))))))))

Do you practice being a one trick pony, or does it just come naturally to you?🤷‍♂️

              2. You put words on paper that say nothing. Go ahead, let’s hear what you disagree with. When asked for facts you disappear.

                1. I haven’t disappeared.
                  I am right here.

I have explicitly stated the facts as follows:
John Say claimed that “new documents” prove that there was misconduct in the Georgia elections.
You asked, “What are these new documents, and where can we find them?”
John Say replied that there are “numerous sources” that he could not provide, but he would provide them “next time I trip over them”
He then posted 3 stupid Youtube videos from cranks spouting second and third hand information, while simultaneously saying that these are ”not actually my sources”.
I then pointed out the utter stupidity and absurdity of these statements by John Say.
You then felt the need to come to his rescue by stating, “no reasonable person would question his credibility”.

The facts are that John Say made absurd claims for which he is unable to provide a source, while simultaneously posting stupid Youtube videos that he says are “not actually my sources”. And apparently you are willing to accept this totally irrational response and defend this insanity.

There, is that enough FACTS for you.
By the way, I haven’t disappeared. I am still here.

                  1. So far, you haven’t provided facts, just verbal diarrhea. John told you not to bother with those introducing the videos, but that is what you did, “from cranks spouting second and third hand information.” He warned all to pay attention to the clips, but you weren’t bright enough to listen.

You haven’t physically disappeared, you are still here, but intellectually empty.

                  2. “John Say replied that there are “numerous sources” that he could not provide, but he would provide them “next time I trip over them””

                    One of my ACTUAL replies:
There are numerous sources reporting on these, One of the large ones is a GA Senate investigation.

Are the records of the GA senate election investigation or that of the GA State Election commission – which I later noted,
                    not DOCUMENTS ?

Is providing multiple videos that show testimoney under oath at one or the other not a SOURCE ?

“He then posted 3 stupid Youtube videos from cranks spouting second and third hand information”
Nope, the so called cranks – which even if true would be irrelvant INCLUDED actual video – of testimony, and video of illegal and possibly fraudulent activity, and on the scene reporting as a GA state senators visited locations where hundreds of people were registered to vote, that were not the legal residences required by GA law.

What you are calling second and third hand is PRIMARY Sources.
The editorial comments of the so called “cranks” are 2nd or third hand.
The source videos that were included in their video are primary sources.

Is this so hard for you to understand ?

What is it you think is a primary source ?
Atleast one of the videos showed the unsigned tabulator strips that can not legally be counted.

“while simultaneously saying that these are ”not actually my sources”.”
Correct. SM asked for sources and I went QUICKLY searching for sources,
Found about half a dozen videos – because left wing nuts cant read,
and picked the 3 that inclkuded PRIMARY sources for some of my claims as well as a few NEW PRIMARY SOURCES for NOW CLAIMS of Fraud, that I was not aware of.

You are free to do your own research -and I have no doubt you will come up with additional claims of 2020 election fraud or lawless conduct with video or documentary evidence to back that up.

In the event I trip over my original source, I will post it.
Though primarily for SM – I could git a rats a$$ about you.

“I then pointed out the utter stupidity and absurdity of these statements by John Say.”
Correction – you made an utterly stupid response fixated on ad hominem
and conflating your oppinion of the unreliability of channels whose opinions you do not like for the merits of the PRIMARY SOURCE material they provided.

Your up to your head in stupid. A wise person would stop digging.

“The facts are that John Say made absurd claims”
I am generally careful in what I write.
The “claims” are not absurd, presuming that the raw data matches reports submitted in evidence, or that the documents provided after subpeona are not forged, my claims are FACTS.

I would further note that with a few exceptions most of what I alleged is either:
Inapproriate, such as various investigators being told not to investigate, and then when they do not do so, ending up with
                    GA judicial appointments.
That is not proof of anything beyond that they did not investigate – as in many instances they claimed to have done.
It is EVIDENCE of corruption, but it is NOT proof of corruption.

Unlike you I know the difference between “looks bad” is proof beyond a reasonable doubt of corruption.

I will return to that later as it is very important today.

Numerical evidence of the number of dead people who voted, the number of under age people who voted, the number of non-existant people who voted, the number of out of state people who voted.
Again presuming that those people who provided those reports – to which they swore under oath, are not lying,
that is evidence of lawlessness. It is POSSIBLE evidence of fraud.
It is not proof that the results of the election were fraudulent – though it significantly increases the odds.

Video of the election worker pocketing a USB stick from a tabulator is absolutely proof of unlawful conduct.
it is evidence of possible fraud. but there are possible (but unlikely) explanations that are violations of election law that did not effect the outcome of the election.

Video of election officials counting ballots outside of official counting rooms and outside of oversite by election officials and election observers is UNLAWFUL. it is evidence of possible fraud. but there are possible (but unlikely) explanations that are violations of election law that did not effect the outcome of the election.

The same is true of the 315K votes from unsigned tabulator strips that were counted by Fulton county. this is UNLAWFUL. it is evidence of possible fraud. but there are possible (but unlikely) explanations that are violations of election law that did not effect the outcome of the election.

There are only a few specific ways that Trump will be able to PROVE beyond any doubt that the OUTCOME of the GA election was fraudulent- that Trump rather than Biden won.
Finding approx 6500 duplicate ballots for Biden would be one of those.

But in most of these instances while it will be easy to prove unlawful, possibly even criminal and fraudulent conduct,
It will not be possible to prove what effect it had on the election.
Knowing that over 100K people who were not eleigable to vote, but voted, does NOT tell you how they voted.

Secret ballot state constitutional requirements – the same requirements that make mailin voting illegal.
also make impossible to find and remove the illegally accepted ballot from the illegally allowed voter.

“There, is that enough FACTS for you.”
What have you claimed that is a meaningful FACT rather than a fallacy.

Maligning the producer of the video is ad hominem – one of the most common fallacies.
                    It is logically irrelevant.

In an INFORMAL argument – where ONLY 2nd and 3rd hand information is provided you may argue the credibility of the opinion with EVIDENCE about the source – how often have they been right in the past as an example.

I FREQUENTLY do not provide sources here.
I have a verifiable track record of accuracy,

In this case I did – because SM asked.

But in NO form of argument formal or informal, can you legitimately attack the credibility of a person providing information rather than opinions.
The only logical counter to information – Facts, Data, logic, is disproving the facts, data, or logic.
                    Opinions are irrelevant.

Two High Schoolers Found an ‘Impossible’ Proof for a 2,000-Year-Old Math Rule—Then, They Discovered Nine More
                    Ne’Kiya Jackson and Calcea Johnson

You can not discredit that by attacking Jackson or Johnson. You must discredit the proof – either their premises or their logic.

You do not understand logic and argument.

              3. Ad Hominem is STILL not an argument.

Do you have an actual argument addressing anything I have posted ?

          2. So you have jumped from mind reading to speculating on how I spend my time ?

Are you capable of posting anything that is on point and not an obvious fallacy ?

While you are incorrect – what does it matter ?

    3. Dont forget the corrupt FBLIE guy in Georgia whom tipped Fulton county off on what was being sought on warrant and what time they were coming. So many dem apparatchik leakers still in the bureaucracy of unionized govt people.

  12. The plan has been successfully implemented in California. Trains to nowhere and voting by illegal aliens.
But alas the day of reckoning is nigh. Because of the exodus of Californians to other lands when the census rolls around it is predicted that California will lose three members in the House of Representatives.
The backfire of Newsom’s policies will resound from Crescent City to the tip of the California Baha.
The rotten egg smell of a burned out catalytic converter on the Newsom campaign bus is already polluting the air on the Ventura highway. Train to nowhere and rotten egg stinking campaign bus to nowhere, how could it be otherwise?

    1. Not sure about losing members in the House. The influx of illegals to blue states may offset any loss of residents. Dems fight to keep illegals because the total resident population count (of citizens & noncitizens) in each state is used in the apportionment calculation to determine the number of Representatives in the House each state is entitled to – as well as how much funding they get from the federal government.

  13. Where did 9.95 billion in bond issues in 2008 plus $2.05 billion (Total 12 Billion | just a fractional proportion of the projected final cost) go over 20 years.
I haven’t heard One person account for it.

This demonstrates why we need Block-Chain accounting with Public Oversight. Block-Chain accounts for the transactions which makes it easier to trace.
Which is why the Politicians don’t like it or want it. California with all its big Tech companies should have been the first in the nation to adapt it.
Palantir Technologies (founded in 2003 by Peter Thiel, Alex Karp, Joe Lonsdale, Stephen Cohen, and Nathan Gettings) block blockchain foundry for crypto is aimed to adapt PayPal’s fraud-detection technology for counter-terrorism and intelligence applications. It is was born in Silicon Valley (Palo Alto) and move to Denver, Colorado in 2020.

The California State Government could have easily adapted and replaced its accounting systems (Any State can), BUT why didn’t they? Because such accountability isn’t conducive to the fleecing of the State Coffers.
And certainly by now, there is no excuse not to make the system responsively accountable. Programs would be “exposed” for what they are. Employee would be responsible for what they do or maybe more importantly what they didn’t do (Their Job).

So $12 Billion down the toilet while the State becomes a sewer pit is what you get with the Cal Leadership.
Nothing to see here, keep moving along, kick the can down the road for the next Admin, as the world turns, that’s just the way it is.

    1. “Where did 9.95 billion in bond issues in 2008 plus $2.05 billion (Total 12 Billion

Hey, corruption, like all else in California, is very, very expensive…

  14. I lived in Venezuela for a while. There were unfinished projects promised by the central government everywhere. So Newsom running Calizuela into the ground to me is of no surprise. I hear that Newsom has been meeting with Maduro to plan the strategy for his Presidential run. People in California should act quickly. The reservation list for a U-Haul is getting longer and longer every day. I predict a future range war between Calizuela and CubaWashinton over the rights to the little trailers used as an escape mechanism to freedom in a far away state. The sheep have eaten the grass to close to the ground. Things could get ugly.

  15. When you think of California just think of 50%.

At any given moment about 50% of the population is stealing from the other half. The first and biggest ratio of thieves are so-called public servants.

Also, at any given moment, about 50% of vehicles on the road are being driven by persons coming or going to their therapist.

  16. . Defiance of valid authority in action is insurrection. The Democrats want voters to see what insurrection is. Your votes are worthless is the message.

No one can reclaim their time.
Go get some lunch, big boy.

    Obama was a DEI hire.

    1. “Obama was a DEI hire.”

Obama was not a “natural born citizen.”

According to the only definition of “Natural Born Citizen” in the Law of Nations by Vattel, 1758, Obama will never be a “Natural Born Citizen” or eligible for the U.S. presidency.

Previous definitions concerned only “natural born SUBJECTS” which will never be relevant to America, and Vattel requires natural born citizens to have “parents,” plural, and a “father” who were citizens at the time of birth of the candidate for president.

The Law of Nations “has been continually in the hands of the members of our Congress, now sitting,…” per the Franklin letter to Dumas, 1787.
      _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

      Law of Nations, Vattel, 1758
      Book 1, Ch. 19

      § 212. Citizens and natives.

“The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages.
The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than
by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this,
in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children
the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent.
We shall soon see whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born.
I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the
place of his birth, and not his country.”

Ben Franklin letter December 9, 1775, thanking Charles Dumas for 3 copies of the Law of Nations:

“…I am much obliged by the kind present you have made us of your edition of Vattel. It came to us in good season, when the circumstances
of a rising state make it necessary frequently to consult the law of nations. Accordingly that copy, which I kept, (after depositing
one in our own public library here, and sending the other to the College of Massachusetts Bay, as you directed,) has been continually
in the hands of the members of our Congress, now sitting, who are much pleased with your notes and preface, and have entertained a
high and just esteem for their author…”

To George Washington from John Jay, 25 July 1787

      From John Jay

      New York 25 July 1787

      Dear Sir

I was this morning honored with your Excellency’s Favor of the 22d
Inst: & immediately delivered the Letter it enclosed to Commodore
Jones, who being detained by Business, did not go in the french Packet,
      which sailed Yesterday.

Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise & seasonable to
provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the
administration of our national Government, and to declare

expressly that the Command in chief of the american army shall not be given to, nor devolved on, any but a natural born Citizen.

Mrs Jay is obliged by your attention, and assures You of her perfect
Esteem & Regard—with similar Sentiments the most cordial and sincere
I remain Dear Sir Your faithful Friend & Servt

      John Jay

      1. . Yes, many believe that. Many believe one parent must be a citizen. The route being taken by dems is no one is a citizen and needn’t be. Passports and visas are unnecessary for entry but may help when leaving.

        😏

        1. Where did Washington, Jay, and the Framers obtain the phrase “Natural Born Citizen,” theirs was the first usage; they had the Law of Nations in their back pockets at the Constitutional Convention?

There is only one conclusion one may draw: That they took the phrase out of the Law of Nations, which makes Obama ineligible.

  17. Newsom is living on stolen land. In 1500, the average life expectancy for indigenous peoples in the Americas was generally estimated To be 30 to 40 years. This was before the introduction of diseases from Europeans. In 1800 after European settlers moved west the average native American life span remained at 30 to 40 years. In 1900 the average native America lifespan remained at 30 to 40 tears even after the introduction of European diseases that begin in the late seventeen hundreds.
Native Americans knew nothing of the plow or the wheel.
