A Really Mad Tea Party: Disney Line Rage Case Goes on Trial

I suppose one could expect this kind of conduct at a ride called the Mad Tea Party, but Gloria Walker, 52, is accused of “line rage” in Orlando Florida. Her trial has featured various witness, including a 10-year-old girl, who testified that she attacked Aimee Krause while waiting for her turn to ride at the “Happiest Place on Earth.”

Witnesses said that Walker, who is from Alabama, was swearing and shoving while in line before she attacked the other woman. You know that your client is toast when one of the accusing witnesses is a ten-year-old year clutching a teddy bear on the stand. Click here. Pretty hard to do an aggressive cross-examination when the witness is holding Mr. Chuckles and talking about the “Happiest Place on Earth.”

Walker turned down a plea agreement for a year in jail and now could face 16 years — though that would be obviously excessive and unlikely. Nevertheless, this could be one expensive ride for Walker who could end up at a state version of “Its a Small World After All” — a five-by-four cell to be exact.

I will of course note that I previously wrote a column explaining that the Disney “Kingdom” is the very one described as the domain of the biblical beast in Revelations, click here. Now will anyone believe me?

  1. Have you ever been on the Disney lines! Over an hour on line and people a cutting continually! Yep, after awhile I PUT my foot down. It was verbal. And I had one hand one one rail and another on the other rail, they still try to cut! Disney lines are a fight waiting to happen.
