Answer: A naked enraged Rahm Emanuel poking his finger in your chest while you are taking a shower.
That is what outgoing Rep. Eric Massa (D, NY) says happened when he was taking a shower in the member’s club. Massa says that he was forced out because he planned to vote against the health bill.

Massa resigned during a dispute over alleged harassment of a male staff member, here.
Massa says that he was taking a shower when Emanuel laid bare the facts on health care: “I am showering, naked as a jaybird, and here comes Rahm Emanuel, not even with a towel wrapped around his tush, poking his finger in my chest, yelling at me.”
He goes further to say that he was effectively framed with an ethics investigation over comments he made to a male staffer due to the health care controversy.
He sums up Emanuel in this way: “Rahm Emanuel is son of the devil’s spawn. He is an individual who would sell his mother to get a vote. He would strap his children to the front end of a steam locomotive.”
I wish Massa would stop beating around the bush and get to how he really feels about Emanuel.
Massa would not have been in this compromising position if he had immediately invoked the need for a strict separation of powers between the legislative and executive branches.

How did he get in the House Gym? Those in charge are fairly strict with who gets in. I would ask for a Over site committee to investigate this claim.
I wish the congressman would get his story straight:
New York Congressman Eric Massa resigns under ethics cloud

WASHINGTON — New York Democratic Rep. Eric Massa, facing a harassment complaint by a male staffer, said Friday that he is stepping down from his seat with “a profound sense of failure.”
“I am guilty,” Massa said in an interview with a Corning, N.Y., newspaper columnist.
Later in the day, Massa released a statement saying that after learning he had a recurrence of cancer, he learned he was the subject of an ethics complaint by a male staffer who felt “uncomfortable” during an exchange with Massa. The exchange reportedly had sexual overtones

AY, Rahm is a former Member of Congress, and former Members are allowed to use the Gym (and are allowed on the House Floor).
Thank you Vince. I guess you have a point. Well maybe he just wanted to show his new clothes off. The Emperor and all.
Take 2 minutes to read Rep. Massa’s Bio:

I had already read it. I think it was cute. Don’t ask don’t tell.
“Massa would not have been in this compromising position if he had immediately invoked the need for a strict separation of powers between the legislative and executive branches.”
I don’t know how effective a separation of powers would be, but a “separation of showers” might be beneficial.
I think that Mr.Emanuel is a principal reason Mr.Obama’s agendas are failing.
The following is a partial excerpt from the ‘Roll Call’ regarding the incident.

“On New Year’s Eve, I went to a staff party. It was actually a wedding for a staff member of mine; there were over 250 people there. I was with my wife. And in fact we had a great time. She got the stomach flu,” he said.
Massa explained that he then danced first with the bride, who was not identified, and then with a bridesmaid. He said multiple cameras recorded the incident.
“I said goodnight to the bridesmaid,” Massa continued. “I sat down at the table where my whole staff was, all of them by the way bachelors.”
“One of them looked at me and as they would do after, I don’t know, 15 gin and tonics, and goodness only knows how many bottles of champagne, a staff member made an intonation to me that maybe I should be chasing after the bridesmaid and his points were clear and his words were far more colorful than that,” Massa said. “And I grabbed the staff member sitting next to me and said, ‘Well, what I really ought to be doing is fracking you.’ And then [I] tossled the guy’s hair and left, went to my room, because I knew the party was getting to a point where it wasn’t right for me to be there. Now was that inappropriate of me? Absolutely. Am I guilty? Yes.”
But Massa said that the staff member whom he made the comments to “never said to me that he felt uncomfortable,” and charged that incident was raised by another aide who had witnessed the incident.
“It was a third-party political correctness statement,” Massa said. Massa’s former deputy chief of staff, Ron Hikel, has been identified in media reports as the source of the ethics complaint.”

FFLEO:
Sounds like a couple of guys BSing to me. He was definitely sandbagged by the White House.
But wasn’t Rahm sticking his finger in the guys chest assault? So Rahm can physically assault Massa and he [Massa] gets the boot, something doesn’t sound right to me.
Byron,
I agree that something is not right, that is why I read everything I could on this subject, and then posted the incident for reasonable people to consider.
Most often we must read all of Prof Turley’s links and then many others to understand the full spectrum of the facts–as well as the non-factual.
Was it really his finger?
I am not a Rahm Emmanuel fan, but this Massa guy is out of control and can’t even keep his lies straight. I think he must be a Republican at heart because he has had more than one allegation of sexual harassment of members of the same sex. Sure sounds like a Republican to me!
For those who have neither served in the military nor as a public servant, the sexual harassment rules have gone a bit haywire. As apparently happened here, a 3rd party—and not the person directly involved—complained about the incident. I had many hours of EEO/sexual harassment training in my Federal career and the rules quickly morphed into unreasonableness.
In the following hypothetical scenario, I would almost certainly have lost my job. For example, if a female colleague and I were flirting at the water cooler and a 3rd party—male or female—disapproved, was jealous, or wanted revenge, they could file a sexual harassment complaint against me and/or the female because of how *they* felt sexually harassed by our actions or words.
Regarding the military, what Massa does, how he acts, and the words he uses around his male cohorts are all very common traits and he had this engrained in him over 24 years of military service. I am not saying it is all okay, but it is simply a fact in the military that you learn to accept. If what he said in the article is what actually happened, then I do not think there was anything close to sexual harassment. Furthermore, the language I heard daily in the oilfield patch was much worse than what I ever heard in the military.
Sexual harassment laws and rules are ripe for abuse and this ‘might’ be the case here.
Raff, the word you’re looking for is “politician.” “Sure sounds like a politician to me.”
Shire,
this guy is not just a politician. He is certifiable and he has changed his story 3 times. If he was being “forced” out as he claims, why did he quit? He admitted to the improper contact with the staffer, but yet Rahm is forcing him out? Rahm can’t force him out unless the allegations being investigated are true.
Former Fed,
If the rules are ripe for abuse, why didn’t he fight the allegations? I don’t see a military guy giving in to untrue allegations.
Former Fed,
Thank you … the additional info you provided helped give the situation a fuller frame of reference.
My brother was a lifer in the Air Force (started in Nam) and then moved on to one of the intelligence agencies. I witnessed many of the conversations between he and his buddies in group settings and yes … if Massa’s recall is accurate, it sounds very much like what I remember.
To Former Federal LEO:
You wrote: “I think that Mr.Emanuel is a principal reason Mr.Obama’s agendas are failing.”
Correct me if I’m wrong but Obama selected his own team of White House staff/advisers to assist him in achieving his agenda. They did not descend upon him randomly or at the behest of the Republicans.
Like it or not (I do NOT!), in effect, Emanuel (and other suboptimal appointees) ARE Obama’s agenda.
Massa: Rahm Emanuel “Would Sell His Own Mother” For Votes
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2010/03/08/massa_rahm_emanuel_would_sell_his_own_mother_for_votes.html
I was watching the news this morning and I swear I heard him say that his cancer has returned.
He also said that Pelosi is responsible for driving him out as he was a no vote on the health care.
He also admitted what he stated. I have no problem with what he said. Locker room humor is good as it is bad. Suck it up people.
Thank you FF LEO for your major contribution.
Note to Rahm
Careful who you do that kind of macho crap to, sport. Some of us would ask you once nicely to stop and then give you a broken finger for your effort no matter who your boss is, jackass. Self-defense is a valid defense and once you’ve shown you are willing to strike me, it is reasonable to assume you have no issue escalating the violence. Or . . .
Learn to keep your hands to yourself. Act like an adult, you Neocon corporatist suck up and AIPAC tool. You are Obama’s Cheney. The sad part is you probably take that as a complement. Which is good because I wouldn’t want you poking your finger in my chest like a schoolyard bully.
Or aren’t you good enough with words to get your point across?
Freshman House Democrat Eric Massa is punctuating one of recent political history’s more memorable meltdowns—including his abrupt resignation, effective 5 p.m. Monday—by booking himself on the Fox News Channel’s Glenn Beck.
It makes a certain amount of nutty sense, given that Tuesday’s scheduled appearance caps the western New York congressman’s erratic behavior over the past week.
“Clearly the man has lost his mind,” said Democratic media consultant Jimmy Siegel, who met Massa in 2006 when he shot a television commercial for Massa’s narrowly unsuccessful House race that year and “felt he was a bit of a martinet.”

By Massa’s going on Glenn B’s show, he might help shake up and shake out people like Mr. Emanuel from the Obama Administration. As a Republican who voted for Obama–although I will *never* vote for him again–I still want him and the Democrats to succeed to the point where I can have the option of voting for one of his successful Democrat challengers in 2012. That is, unless there is a sane, irreligious Republican for whom I could cast my vote. Hmm, I think I might have just sealed my own fate of not voting in 2012.

Keep smiling!
Man, I want to stop stereotyping South Carolina as “the home of CRAZY”, so this stuff doesn’t help. (He should fee right at home on Beck’s show… Arrgh! I must stop doing that!)
I’m struck by Massa’s recounting of his run-in with Emmanuel as astoundingly whiney by any adult standard. This guy is a Naval Academy grad and served in the military for 24 years and he can’t take getting yelled at?
Question of the Day: What Is Scarier Than An Enraged Raum Emanuel Poking His Finger In Your Chest?
*****************
My Answer to Prof. Turley’s Question: I would say an enraged Raum Emanuel poking another appendage in my chest while I am taking a shower.
RAhm poking his finger in my chest would constitute wish fulfillment for me. First, the offending digit would be broken, then whatever other damage his response provoked would occur.
I watched several video excerpts of the G. Beck interview at HuffPo and even Mr. Beck seemed more sane than Mr.Massa.
They have definitely lowered the standards for Annapolis Naval Officer grads…
“Rahm Emanuel is son of the devil’s spawn.”
Very classy. I wish Massa would stop over-sensationalizing. http://bit.ly/9OiXe7 He would find many supporters in Republicans if he would just tone down the rhetoric and state the fact that he was pushed out by the Dems.

Seth and Jerry you two must be Star Trek fans.
Fair warning, another poster here already uses the Enterprise.
Badaman,
I thought that you might bring that up and it is not important if we assume it was VT.
Thanks, FFLEO. Just posting a link. VT
FFLeo we already seen what your assumin done on the other thread.
P.S. Good Thankin
There was another poster posting with a faded green Buddah face same as BIL. It wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibilities. Mr. Treacy knows sometimes even when a person post with his name and picture, you can still scratch the head and say hey is that really you. Right Mr. Treacy?
Bdaman,
Had the “Seth and Jerry” post accompanied by the well-known avatar been an uncharacteristically vitriolic diatribe, then I would have immediately suspected that someone had hijacked VT’s avatar.
I saw a reference earlier to the S and J video at HuffPo and thought that it would not be a worthwhile venture; however, when I saw that VT had linked to it with the very descriptive name, I followed the link, and it was entertaining and worth the time.
