By KATE BRUMBACK, Associated Press Writer Kate Brumback, Associated Press Writer – 14 mins ago

ATHENS, Ga. – Police believe a body found hidden in dirt and brush Saturday in the north Georgia woods is a professor accused of killing his wife and two other people at a community theater two weeks ago.

Two guns were found with a body that fits the description of marketing professor George Zinkhan, who vanished after the April 25 shootings near the University of Georgia, said Athens-Clarke County Police Chief Joseph Lumpkin.

The guns matched those described by witnesses to the shootings, though police did not say how they believe Zinkhan died. Authorities hoped to have a positive identification and cause of death by the end of Saturday.

  2. FormerDem, I have responded to a post of yours on another thread. If you are truly interested in discussing the effect of possible investigations on the work of the CIA or employee morale in that agency, you might review my post. If you instead prefer to harangue, or make angry, bitter statements and accusations against entire groups of people or particular nationalities, then you are really accomplishing nothing. It’s up to you.

  3. Aonoymoulsy,

You are a name caller and a phony.

A bottom of the Barrel American – if you are American at all.

  4. Former Dem,

May I complement you on proving you are a Racist Pig. Is there nothing you won’t attack?

  5. Swine flu:

I think we can all agree it is time to close down the Mexico/US Border.

  6. Let me be clear. It is my recollection that:

    – The chairs and the ranking minority members of the House and Senate intelligence committees, known as the Gang of Four, were briefed that the CIA was holding and interrogating high-value terrorists.

    – We understood what the CIA was doing.
    – We gave the CIA our bipartisan support.
    – We gave the CIA funding to carry out its activities.
    – On a bipartisan basis, we asked if the CIA needed more support from Congress to carry out its mission against al-Qaeda.

I do not recall a single objection from my colleagues.”

  7. How do you get your picture in that cute little box or is that specifically reserved for the Turley Seven?

  8. Hello there was a new post by a lady by the name of evelyn smith that was asking question. Could someone point her in the right direction if I have missed something.

  9. JT:

Could you please push the buttons or pull the levers that block FORMER DEM from posting replies here. This person shows zero intelligence or intestinal fortitude. He is in my book a menace to himself. After all you reap just what you sow.

  10. Former Dem,
You are even worse than a troll. First of all, Although I am extremely proud of my son who is a U.S. Marine, you can be a patriot without joining the Marines. Secondly, whatever Prof. Turley’s children do with their lives is none of your business and not for publication on any blog, unless he or they decide to bring it up. “Have you no shame”? I am thinking that that Joe McCarthy had more sense then you do.

  11. Former DEM(WITTED)

Thank you for your concern. That has been a viable concern for everyone on this list. No one wants the Good Ole’ USA to be considered a nation of Terrorists or the CIA to have less clout. Don’t you agree?

The CIA has so far done an excellent job and did a much better covert operation. I cannot think of another administration where a covert operation has been sacrificed because of a Disagreement with the Vice President, Can you? Scooter Libby took the Blame for Plame. Does this ring a bell?

Please do not insult anyone intelligence here with your assinne statments. You intelligence at this particulat time is deeply questioned. Since when has the Veep been as powerful and controlling as Cheney. At least in my book Johnson did it the right way. He got rid of Bobby and John at the same time. Although I do not agree with the way he did it but he was a loyalist. Don’t you agree?

Where I do take exception is your attempt at humor or in your case to make your point to bring up this mans children. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO DO THAT, SAY THAT OR IN ANYWAY INFER THAT “YOU HOPE THAT HIS CHILDREN ARE HARMED BECAUSE OF WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT”. That sir crosses the line. I will not acknowledge any post of yours anymore. I wish you well and please find another list to harass and threaten people upon.

I am not sure of the state that you are in but this constitutes cyber stalking and harassment. Which sir is covered by the Federal Electronics Storage Communications Act.

  12. As left wingers (note: I use to be one of you clowns) try to destroy the CIA in America; the Times of London reports that US Marines have emergency fast reaction plans to fly contingents of US Marines to Pakistan in the event Taliban Forces appear likely to capture Pakistani nuclear devices. These fast reaction Marines would be charged with securing and removing nuclear warheads from Pakistan.

GOD HELP these Marines and GOD HELP the CIA gather the intelligence necessary to keep these Marines safe. Of course, every one of your half dozen losers here including Jonathan Turley are hard at work to cripple our intelligence network.

Would not it be a strange twist of fate if Jonathan Turley’s children are so proud of their country that they join the US Marines in a few years! God help them in their mission if that is the case – because it appears their missions are every day being undermined by the left in this country!

  13. I am having trouble with reading my posts on my cell phone. Am I doing something wrong?

  14. Former Dem,
Is that you Professor Zinkhan, trying to turn the heat away from you?……Nope, I’m sorry. Your CV shows that you are too literate to be Former Dem. Which incidentally for those who don’t know the Dem doesn’t stand for Democratic Party. It’s short for demented, which he was until that nice medicine began to work. Now he’s formerly demented, but still confused about politics. So far there isn’t any medicine to cure those symptoms.

  15. Former CIA chief Goss: I can’t believe what a shameless liar Pelosi is

    April 25, 2009

Goss: “Today, I am slack-jawed to read that members claim to have not understood that the techniques on which they were briefed were to actually be employed; or that specific techniques such as “waterboarding” were never mentioned.

It must be hard for most Americans of common sense to imagine how a member of Congress can forget being told about the interrogations of Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed.

In that case, though, perhaps it is not amnesia but political expedience.
