Louisiana’s Political Shift From KKK to XXX: Adult Film Star Stormy Daniels To Run Against Sen. David Vitters

200px-Stormy_Daniels,_2007_1official-vitterAfter living through statewide campaigns of former KKK leader David Duke, Louisiana is now going to consider the former XXX film star Stormy Daniels for the Senate. Daniels is running against Sen. David Vitter, who is ensnarled in his own sex scandal due to his employment of call girls at the same time that he was leading the fight to force good morals on the rest of the nation.

I have to say that Stormy Daniels is a lot more entertaining than Vitter. She opened one appearance at a diner by saying “For those of you who don’t know who I am, I’d suggest that you don’t Google that until you get home from work.”

At another point, Daniels, 30, warned “If you get any closer you’re going to have to start tipping me.”

So far, she is a standout in the field. Personally, I view the move from the KKK to XXX in candidates to be a positive political trend.

  1. Dear Candidate Stormy:

I am coming up with some slogans. Trying to avoid double entendres, but how do you like, “Riders on the Storm” for our campaign song?

  2. Bron98:

“thanks for the info. We have a great new little wine shop in Fairfax, I might take the afternoon off and do some “research”.

One of my law school classmates likes a place called The Wine House on University Drive in Old Town Fairfax. It must be fairly new, but he said the staff is helpful. It’s a wine bar/restaurant. Kevin is the sommelier.

  3. Well I can’t let this one pass up. Her you have truth in advertising. Would they change the sound bite from Pundits to Puntits? She has probably helped a number of marriages and probably destroyed a few others. She hopefully can handle the bare truth.

  4. Anon:

is Drew going down? He seems guilty in the extreme. So can he even get a fair trial? I suppose a change of venue is in order?

The case seems pretty circumstantial based on all I have seen but one and one seem to equal murder.

  6. AY,

Yeah, Petersen was a big topic around here yesterday. Like I’ve said all along . . . it’s not the crime that gets you, it’s the cover up. Sorry your friend is going take one in the “L” column, but he had to know it was coming.

And to answer your rhetorical question, yes, attorneys can have friends but the paperwork is usually time and cost prohibitive. 😀

  7. Bron98,

When I was growing up, I was unsure if I wanted to be an Actor, a Comedian or an Attorney. I said screw it because an Attorney can be all three.

So did any of you get a whiff of Drew Petersen out of IL. One of his Attorneys is a good personal friend. I think attorneys ca have friends, yes?

You sir have a remarkable way with words. You must be fresh air in a court room.

  9. Dang it worked. Some technology actually makes me look smart.

  10. FFLEO & JT,

    ROFL @ link “mix up”.

Hey, careful with that! You’ll give porn stars a bad name!

At least when they torture they use a safe word and it’s constitutional and consensual. They also won’t deny it by equivocating on the meaning of the word “know”.

  13. Yeah! How do I get on Stormy’s, um, er, uh, campaign, yeah, that’s it, campaign. That’s the ticket!

And seriously, as one experienced in Louisiana politics, she comes from a far more honest background than Vitter and in her openness about such a “controversial” career shows greater character than most Louisiana politicians. I wish her the best of luck. And she’ll need it for the average Louisiana voter to be able to see beyond their unthinking biblical condemnation of a “harlot”. I personally know several members of various Louisiana political dynasties. I’ve even partied with a few of them.

    I’m not impressed.

Either with their persons or their job performance.

The words “sleazy back-stabbing weasels who would cook and eat their own children for political gain” comes to mind.

I say let Stormy have a chance. She can’t be more of screw up than Landrieu, Edwards, Blanco or Jindal. Her record shows she at least knows how to screw properly. You’ll at least get a kiss before she $%@&’s you over.

  14. Oh man! Somehow my comment turned into a link to religion!

  15. Humph! XXX to KKK congress is AAA.

Will she campaign with or without clothes…My guess is this candidate will never be involved in a cover-up.

  16. Ok, No Problem if she is qualified? The qualifications have been set out in the Constitution. If she get the required signatures, should not be a problem. Now how many Men will face up to the fact that they may have visited where she works, her movies etc. Probably not many that are married and law abiding. HYPOCRISY, HYPOCRITES. run abundant in all walks of life.

If I was in Louisiana, I would sign her petition. I would probably assist in her campaign. At least at the bare minium you know what you are getting.

As I understand it, the business is very cut throat. Yeah, yeah you probably thought I was going to say Mark Felts’ Deep Throat.
If she can make it in that business, she can make it in Politics.

You know I always want to sign my real name. Oh well.
