Video: Loud Jets Fan Arrested at Chargers Game

This video purportedly shows a Jets fan being arrested for rooting too loudly in the Jets-Chargers game. The arrest of New York native Bill Carroll came in the third quarter, so he missed the Jets whip the Chargers.

“When you’re a Jet,
You’re the swingin’est thing:
Little boy, you’re a man;
Little man, you’re a king! “

This may be a cultural difference with San Diego fans not used to seeing an actual New Yorker at a sporting event. It takes a bit of getting used to. The fact is that . . .

“When you’re a Jet,
You’re a Jet all the way
From your first cigarette
To your last dyin’ day.”

There is no question that Carroll was being a tad obnoxious, but I cannot see a chargeable offense. Indeed, in this interview, he claims to have had only three beers.

Of course, we are only seeing a small snippet of what occurred. The officers do seem to have trouble arresting him, so it is possible that he could face both disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.

“Here come the Jets
Like a bat out of hell.
Someone gets in our way,
Someone don’t feel so well!

Here come the Jets:
Little world, step aside!
Better go underground,
Better run, better hide!

We’re drawin’ the line,
So keep your noses hidden!
We’re hangin’ a sign,
Says “Visitors forbidden”
And we ain’t kiddin’! “

I have not been able to find more information on the man, who has become famous (or infamous) on youtube and Reddit.

He does not appear in this earlier video of Jets fans:

  1. It’s San Diego, home of the Blackwater SS and more angry rednecks than Orange County. Thanks Gov Schwarzenegger and the County of S.D. for bringing militant corporatism to California.

  2. Duh12,

You are correct. It is all partisan. Just for ewe. You make it that way when you post your masters messages. I see the lobotomy kit did not work to well on this incarnation either. Try again, troll paste. What a waste of space responding to you.

  3. “You know most republicans are strong law abiding citizens until it happens to them.”

You had to make it partisan, didn’t you? It can never be about right vs. wrong. There has to be a partisan twist to it.

When your car breaks down at the side of the road, and somebody stops to help, do you ask? Are you a Democrat or a Republican?

When you go to the emergency room, do you ask the doctor if he’s a Democrat or a Republican?

  4. I am surprised that he was not arrested for rioting, attempting to incite a riot, conspiracy to incite a riot and rioting. Then Resisting and opposing the lawful commands of a LEO, Disorderly conduct, Possession of alcohol with the use not intended, public intoxication, public disturbance.

Lets see. Game: Check. Pro Football Game: Check. Stadium: Check. Fan of the team supporting: Check.

Maybe he was supporting the wrong team. The Chargers did screw up those 2 end zone things.

You know most republicans are strong law abiding citizens until it happens to them. Then the LEO’s are out of control. Go Rush no moe……

  5. Great use of the West Side Story lines! I thought the idea at a football game was for the fans to cheer for their team?? I guess you can’t be a fan for the visiting team without getting arrested. I think I would put up a fight if they arrested me for cheering loudly and obnoxiously for my team! Especially after paying those high prices for tickets!

    1. I actually woke the kids this morning after blogging by singing the song. They insisted on watching the video on morning cereal and loved it. I have now successfully introduced the gang culture to my child.
