Venus de Malum: Police Order New Jersey Family Cover Up Nude Snowwoman

A family in Rahway, New Jersey was ordered by police to cover up their nude snow woman after a neighbor complained. Maria Conneran added a bikini top and skirt to satisfy scandalized neighbors.

The snow woman seems perfectly innocent to me unless there were rumors of snow lap dances or suggestive flaking. Clearly, these neighbors need to keep their children out of any museum if this is too suggestive.

The family actually did an awesome job. Our snow woman this season looked like a cross between Bella Abzug and a traffic cone.

Sgt. Dominick Sforza was dispatched to carry out the distasteful task. However, warming temperatures later melted away the controversy.

  7. Wow if I had neighbors like that I think I’d come up with a better solution to the problem.

    Like maybe they could wear a bag over their heads, that way they wouldn’t see the offending snowman, and I wouldn’t have to look at their offending faces.

    ‘Venus’ is one of my all-time favorites. The calypso-like backbeat rhythm is perfect.

    Thanks for posting that neat, eye-pleasing photomontage from YouTube. That service is a very important historical archive of music and other aspects of life; however, given the way censorship is occurring at a rapid rate, I expect such gems to be deemed a violation of some type in the near future.

    I would gladly pay a fee to YouTube et al. to view such videos thereby reimbursing and rewarding the original song artists and the artistry of the YouTube posters.

  12. I know housing prices are down, but if those were examples of my neighbors complaining I would want to move, to keep my children away from small minded fools. The sculpture showed true artistry.
