The Idaho House just passed a sweeping anti-abortion bill that grants no exceptions for rape, incest, severe fetal abnormality or the mental or psychological health of the mother. As if to avoid any question of the religious basis for the measure, the sponsor state Rep. Brent Crane, R-Nampa, explained to the House that this was God’s will.
Senate Bill 1165 bans abortion after 20 weeks on grounds of fetal pain. Crane invoked the “hand of the Almighty” and “His ways are higher than our ways. He has the ability to take difficult, tragic, horrific circumstances and then turn them into wonderful examples.” The measure passed on a 54-14 vote and now heads to the governor’s desk.
These measures have proven costly to the state. In the 1990s, the legislator passed an anti-abortion law and “spent nearly three-quarters of a million dollars” unsuccessfully defending the law.

I just got a loan for twenty thousand for a car in which I bought a car for that amount. 30 days after I get in a wreck, the car is totaled. Does the insurance company write me a check for twenty thousand? What happens to the difference between what I now owe the bank (20 G’s) and the insurance check for it’s replacement value. Keep in mind the car will be worth less because of 30 day depreciation and the dealers profit.

When I buy insurance for my car, they take my monthly premiums, starting with the very first one, and use that money to pay off other policy holders that have accidents, pay their building expenses and salaries and marketing expenses, and with what is left over they have their reserves and distribute profits or open new offices.

Unemployment insurance works the same way.

ex-employee then draws unemployment. If the amount is used up and the ex-employee continues to draw because of an extension then it goes into negative territory. One could consider anything in the negative a handout as the employee did not work for it.

Yes but mostly No. Unemployment $$$ is not the full amount of what one could bring home by working 40 hours a week. It can keep things going because it does circulate $$$$. The problem is if you can make it on unemployment checks and keep getting approved for extensions one could possibly learn to lay around and become lazy.
