It turns out Barack Obama is . . . is . . . a citizen. The White House has released President Obama’s long-form birth certificate to put the growing controversy to rest over his birth. Many of us have been critical of the birther conspiracy theories. However, I am not sure why the White House did not do this earlier since it addresses the allegations fully. It will be interesting to see that, now that Obama has produced the certificate, if the movement for state ballot laws declines. While it has been repeatedly stated that the laws are not about Obama, but we will see.
The long-form clearly states the date and other information. It also includes the name of Obama’s father — a focus of recent suggestions that the reason for withholding the document was the name of a different man or the inclusion of Muslim for religion.
Donald Trump immediately took credit for the disclosure stating, “Today, I’m very proud of myself, because I’ve accomplished something that nobody else has been able to accomplish,” Trump told reporters. “Why he didn’t do it when everybody else was asking for it, I don’t know. But I am really honored, frankly, to have played such a big role in hopefully, hopefully getting rid of this issue.”
I am not sure why the White House held on to the document. One theory could be that they knew it would blow up in the faces of Obama’s critics. However, it has served to rally critics for years. Those critics are not likely to register with the DNC now. They are likely to move on to other claims against Obama.
Perhaps now that he clearly was born in Hawaii, they will now claim that his is part of the Hawaiian royalty and thus making him ineligible as the holder of a foreign ennoblement.

Frivolous conduct in perspective
The judicial sanctions provided under Sections 130.1-2.3 of the New York Rules of Court, 22 NYCRR 130.1 and NYCPLR §8303-a represent New York’s counterpart to Fed. R. Civ. P. 11. Consistent with DR 7-102(A)(1) and (A)(2), Section 130-1.1(c) of the NYCRR defines “frivolous” conduct as conduct which is (1) “completely without merit in law or fact and cannot be supported by a reasonable argument for an extension, modification or reversal of existing law,” or (2) “undertaken primarily to delay or prolong the resolution of the litigation, or to harass or to maliciously injure another.” Section 130-1.1(a) grants the court the discretion to (1) award to a party costs and attorneys fees resulting from frivolous conduct by another party, and (2) impose financial sanctions on the party or attorney who engages in frivolous conduct. The total amount of costs awarded and sanctions imposed cannot exceed $10,000 “for any single occurrence of frivolous conduct.” See §130-1.2.
Arguing from ‘feelings’ can be frivolous.
Feelings…
Nothing more than … feelings…
Nada Libtard,
My sister became a bigot after she was abducted at gunpoint and sexually assaulted.
I know all too well what a bigot sounds like and I assure you Kevin Kessler is not a bigot.

The tax payers. I have already established that most poor do not pay taxes to the federal treasury. Payroll tax and property tax are not for FEMA butthead!!
I posted this in response to the defamatory remarks by Slartibartfast:
Kevin: “‘Nada Libtard’ aka ‘DeepCover7′ (who I believe to be Bob, Esq. although I have no evidence of this beyond animus towards me)”
Seriously?? I get smeared because you think I hate you?
Times like this I wish I lived in England so I could sue you for defamation.
Kris,
Where does the FEMA money come from? You said it did not come from the poor….
Kris,
Where does the FEMA money come from….
Wasn’t it about two years ago that you were banned from the blog because you were posting personal information about me in a threatening manner?

The Texas-specific provision required that Perry promise the state will maintain certain education spending levels through 2013 in order to get the funds. Perry complained the Texas Constitution prohibited him from committing to future state spending. Texas applied for the money anyway, but was rejected and later filed suit against the Department of Education.
Democrats in Congress said they put forth the provision, which also bypassed state lawmakers and sent the federal aid directly to school districts, because of the way Texas handled federal stimulus dollars in 2009. Texas lawmakers used $3.2 billion in federal stimulus money to replace state money and ended the legislative session with billions in the state’s reserve Rainy Day Fund.
Notice the Democrats admitted what they did. Their intentions do not matter because we have a constitution and we follow it.
Kris, Jim, et. al.,
Most women I’ve known have commented on how beautiful my eyes are. Perhaps it was my height and general toughness that scared some of the psychotic junkies I used to deal with in NYC. Most people, however, find me quite pleasant and likable, it’s just that I have little tolerance for gutless pseudonyms, who talk tough but are
cowards at heart.

It has come to my attention that a guest poster has been providing IP addresses of posters to other commenters on this blog.
Please be advise !!!!!!!”
Wasn’t it about two years ago that you were banned from the blog because you were posting personal information about me in a threatening manner? How quick you are then to cry foul supporting someone’s unproven allegations about E mail addresses being released. No E mail addresses have been disclosed on this thread and certainly Rafflaw has done no such thing. You always seem to forget that there are some very perceptive people here and the ability to disguise writing style is available to only the best writers. None of the trolls here have exhibited any talent in that vein and I would advise you to not make allegations you can’t back up and so add to the general trollery that has hijacked this thread.

I have given the proof now all of the liberals can at least say they were idiots.
Oh! And Mikey, thanks for quoting me. It helps to increase the hits for “Kevin Kesseler”.
