Here is our picture of the week from our erstwhile colleague in the City of Light, Eric Tenin.
Here is Eric’s description:
When I saw this old lady reading peacefully in this garden I knew right away it would make a nice photo. I think it does š Of course, the black and white adds a little to it, but not only. Anyway, FYI, I took this photo in Le jardin des Invalides.
Eric Tenin is the co-founder and CEO of polltogo.com, a mobile polling platform, but he is also a true Parisian (born and raised there). Since 2005, he’s been taking a photo of his home town every single day, to feed his www.parisdailyphoto.com (PDP) blog. Since the launch of PDP, thousands of other cities have joined his CityDailyPhoto.com community, sharing their cities from a local view. One of his pictures is featured each Sunday on the Turley blog.
It’s not snow (yet!) it’s just the contrast as Anonymous said š

Why is Eric our “erstwhile colleague”? Since the word “colleague” contains no geographical limitation as far as I know, I think we should keep him around indefinitely and promote him to the high order of “current colleague.”
raff…
My guess it is the contrast of the black and white…off of the surface….
Interesting picture. Is that snow on the ground?
How about some photos of the Riff-Raff infested metro…
