Brian Banks was a former high school football star when he was accused of rape by Wanetta Gibson. Gibson’s name was sealed as a rape victim while Banks was publicly accused as a rapist despite his insistence that it was consensual sex. It was his word against hers and prosecutors threatened him with life imprisonment if he went to trial, so he pleaded guilty to a rape that he did not commit. He spent five years in jail. When he was released he was surprised when his “victim” asked to befriend him on Facebook. She later admitted that she made the whole thing up but did not want to give back the $1.5 million that she won in a judgment against the school district for her alleged rape. She retains the money despite admitting to lying about the rape.
Banks was 16 and a student at Long Beach Poly High School when he said that he made out with Gibson but did not go beyond groping and kissing. He was a talented football star being scouted by colleges for possible scholarships. The ended the same day when Gibson accused him of rape. Prosecutors pushed forward with the case despite an absence of critical forensic evidence and the fact that Gibson’s account changed over time. Banks’ mother sold her condo and her car to pay for his defense.
After his release, Gibson met Banks and agreed to speak in front of an investigator. She is quoted as saying “I will go through with helping you but it’s like at the same time all that money they gave us, I mean gave me, I don’t want to have to pay it back.”
Since this case occurred ten years ago, it is not clear if Gibson will even be investigated, let alone charged for her false statements. In the meantime, she is keeping the money . . . what she has not already spent.
There is also no response from prosecutors on why they pushed forward with the case given the conflicts in the account of the alleged victim and absence of forensic evidence establishing guilt.
A judge has finally expunged the conviction of Banks so that he does not have to remain on parole. He already served the jail time.

Does this show that the feminists are wrong to advocate for equality and justice for women, and to insist upon punishment for men who have committed crimes against women? The meanness, badness and bitchiness of women did not create the situation that we find ourselves in, which is one of male prerogative to economically disadvantage, exploit, and sexually abuse large numbers of women who have done nothing to deserve mistreatment. As to Brook, all I can understand by watching the clips is that he did not get written permission from kids to videotape them before doing a project that looks pretty disorganized and chaotic to me, and then he got some girls (whom he calls “ladies”) on the wrong side of him somehow, either due to his prior history with them or their “bitchiness,” or some combination of that, and that it went down badly for him and his lawyer was (surprise surprise!) no damn good. Another thing that occurred to me when I saw the video clips and read his captions was that he spoke in a pretty derogatory way about the girls’ projects and their classroom behavior. I know a doctor in New Jersey who was defrocked, deprived of his medical license, because a patient made false claims against him. He had a so-so lawyer on the first round, who said that an appeal would cost $100,000 but it would probaly win, but the guy was so sickened by the court system that he chose not to appeal, and as a result, he just went on to make another life for himself. It is my personal opinion that the patient (SHE WAS A WOMAN) who brought the action against him was wrong and even bad, but he did not manage to conclude from that experience that women are natural liars, that allegations (and these were not sexual) against doctors are false, or any of that. He DID CONCLUDE that the court system is FUBAR. He DID conclude that he wants nothing more to do with the court system, ever in life.
A friend of mine is a Montessori teacher. She uses video to great and wonderful effect in her classroom. She does it in accordance with all the standard procedures employed by her school and never has a problem.
Brook concludes that he can easily believe there are many false allegations of rape, seeing what he has seen. That may be, and it does not excuse what this woman did to the man who was sent to prison for five years, and it does not excuse rape, and it does not diminish the good work of the feminists who have worked so hard to prevent rape. After seeing the ins and outs of the Zimmerman case, I now believe that there are probably many young Black men who have been killed by “fine upstanding citizens” in various small towns all across this nation, without the slightest punishment having been dealt out to their killers, and without the media ever finding out about the situation.

In the 19th century, perhaps, many or perhaps most fathers that could afford to go to court did retain custody of the kids.
Then came the Tender Years Doctrine from the late 19th Century to the mid to late 20th Century which reversed that and explicitly placed children in the tender years into the mother’s house, exclusively.
And then when Tender Years was found to be unconstitutional, came the Best Interests of the Child doctrine, which basically allowed a judge to do any damn thing he or she wanted to do regardless of the Constitution by claiming it was in the best interests of the child.
And now finally, and too late for me, we are starting to see more and more states adopting “rebuttal presumption of joint shared custody”.

Then when the father realized she could again get visitation with her child, he “relocated” to Brazil so there would be no visitation. False allegation? Ruination of at least one life? All that, yes, but headlines? No. Oh sure, there were headlines when she was considered a female pedophile, and Screamin Demon was all over it, with people threatening to burn down the jail she was in. But when the charges were just dropped because there was no evidence? NOT ONE HEADLINE ANYWHERE and the mother’s friends and supporters were told to NOT bring the press to the court proceeding or she would not be allowed out of jail, but would have further problems with trumped up charges.

1. Yes it is true and a complete crime against society that now it takes two salaries to support a family.
2. This is not a war of oppression against women, but a war against society, using our own greed against us. So that when feminism demanded places in the workforce, corporations gave women those places, and corporations, and our own greed acted together to reduce salaries since there were now a surplus of workers, but also to throw out the old norms of what made for a successful home and dramatically increase the prices and standards, so we all need new homes, new cars, trips around the world, the newest toys, the newest fashions, the newest tvs, etc.
