  1. I like Wossty’s Still a Cat. You have to have multiple degrees to walk around. I love the New York Police Department. I hope that I am not
called out with some ridiculous conduct violation. I’m kind of cute
so the police leave me alone.

  2. The murder rate will not only go down, but the justifiable homicide
    rate will go up.

  3. If you stop calling SYG ‘incidents’ murder but instead call them justifiable homicide then, yes, the murder rate will go down.

  4. Error on my part, should read, “The piece you quoted said that the “murder rate” had gone UP in “every” state….”

  5. @Shano-
    “Jason, you know math right?”

Good to see Prof. Turley’s call for civility has worked.

“If you start calling ‘apples’ the name ‘oranges’ it does not make the apples magically turn into oranges in reality.”

The piece you quoted said that the “murder rate” had gone down in “every” state that had passed SYG laws. I then quoted numbers from states whose murder rates had gone down after enacting SYG laws.

So let’s compare: murder rate VS murder rate. That looks like the same fruit to me, but as I said before, I welcome being educated on the statistical subtleties that I’m not getting.

  6. Jason, you know math right? If you start calling ‘apples’ the name ‘oranges’ it does not make the apples magically turn into oranges in reality.

  7. You know what they say Malisha there are lies, damn lies and statistics, haha.
Here is another example of police abuse of civilians, marking them as “Professional Agitators” with no evidence of any crimes. This is what the police ‘wanted’ poster said about this neighborhood couple:

“Walked into the monthly 30th Precinct community board meeting to discover our own faces hanging on the podium. It reads:

“Be aware that the subjects are known professional agitators that live at [our address posted on poster]. Above subjects mo is that they video tape officers performing routine stops and post on youtube. Subjects purpose is to portray officers in a negative way and too deter officers from conducting there responsibilities. Above subjects also deter officers from being safe and tactical by causing unnecessary distractions. Do not feed into subjects propaganda.”
