We are just hearing about torts and crimes rolling in from Halloween (to be added to our 2013 listing of Spooky Torts). None are quite as bizarre as the arrest of Christopher Dabney, 22, a Marine veteran who took offense at the costume of Daniel Priotti in a wheelchair. It appears that Priotti was dressed as a veteran in a wheelchair. It turns out that Priotti is a disabled Marine veteran confined to a wheelchair. At the time of the attack, Dabney was wearing a pink tutu.
The scene unfolded in a Pita Pit restaurant in Gainesville, Florida around 2 a.m. when both were in line. Dabney reportedly called Priotti a “fake” and hit the victim twice and knocked him unconscious. Dabney was stopped by men at the restaurant from leaving.
Dabney was taken away to jail in his pink tutu while medics revived Priotti, who explained that he was a paralyzed veteran.
Once Dabney puts his pants back on, I would strongly suggest a plea bargain. I can find only one prospective juror who would be in any way sympathetic with him:

“That might be a parable right there.”
Yep.
The military is a place to teach people to kill not asking a question why saying yes sir I will kill as ordered.sir! ^It is the mentality of being in the military. The military apart from popular belief is religious in its nature. What connects the military with religion you may ask? Wanting to kill that’s what. Mark 14:1-9 KJV the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death. John 12;10 the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;
Military is sodomistic too.
KJV,Genesis 19 >>. 9And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge:now will we deal worse with thee, than with them.: That mentality is nurtured by calling one part indecent. Why is that significant? I will tell you why. That one part is connected to the whole being called bad makes the whole body bad to be in the mind of a person to be bad. War becomes easy. Feuding, and fighting is a hair trigger away. Jailing is effortless. It is because people call one part indecent. Jesus would avoid the military. Jesus heals Jesus does not say yes sir I will kill just like you ordered sir!.
Mikie – please point out someone here defending the guy in this story. I think what you see if you actually read the comments is derision.
The story was of a guy who let his preconceived notions get ahead of the actual situation. That might be a parable right there
Ok, I’m going to say this to all of you who are defending this piece of crap. For one thing, no where in the military does it tell us to punch someone because we disagree with them. Violence, in this type of situation, is the reaction of the uneducated, and undisciplined mind. If he had a problem, he should have said something in the first place instead of “going back to his training” (stupidest defense of a inexcusable act I have ever heard). If he had said something, the two of them would probably have shared a beer and talked about their experiences. Second of all, even if there was alcohol involved, that is hardly a justification for any action. All alcohol does is lower someone’s inhibitions and intensify who they really are. Anyone who stands behind this guy should really take a look at this and realize that he deserves everything that is coming to him. I hope the jury nails him to the wall!
Good point, OS.
Gene, I beg to differ. The Saints are proof that God does exist and has a wicked sense of humor.
Whoever has saints takes ones eyes off of jesus. That is wicked God is not wicked at all. Saint statuses, and representations of heavenly things like an angel no one has actually seen is wicked. The devil can use that image to deceve people.
OS,
Sometimes Bron reminds me of that old Far Side where the dog says, “Hey guys! I’m going to the vet to get tutored!” š
Just kidding, Bron. Actually, you remind me of “Hey, buddy . . . wanna buy a hoofed mammal?”
And the Saints are proof that God doesn’t exist. Just ask any Saints fan.
Bron, if He is a football fan, it stands to reason he would prefer the Saints to the Vikings.
As for Gary Larson, check your spelling.
I’m sure the other inmates would jump start the marine in a real tutu……
Jail is an ungodly institution. How can any good thing come from it?
OS:
Why would he be a fan of a defensive tackle? Does God like football?
That would certainly explain a lot, OS.
OS, FOTFLMAO!! š
Gene:
My money is on Himself being a fan of Gary Larsen. There is no other explanation without giving myself a headache.
Sometimes, just sometimes, I think that if there is a creator directing the universe (and I don’t) that he/she/it must be taking writing tips from the late Hunter S. Thompson or possibly Joseph Heller.

Wonder where this proud jarhead did his time, San Diego or Okinawa?

Don’t know, but here is a clip of Lindsay “Hillbilly” Graham at boot camp:
So, we know a small brain and an even tinier peep was involved – any chance Al-Co-Hall may have been part of the problem?

Dabney disliked the military he was at one time in. The sight of a military uniform enraged him. Unfortunately his training in the military took over. . The military is not good for any of us. To arrest him is to not forgive him. Each must make it right with each other looking past the clothing that whoever has on. Let not the sun set on thy wrath. Ephesians 4:26
1611 King James Version of Ephesians 4:26.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
