No, this is not The Onion website. Reportedly Omar Borkan Al Gala and two other attractive men were deported by Saudi Arabia because they were too handsome and debauchery would ensue.

Telegraph reports the men were delegates of the United Arab Emirates for the Jenadrivah Heritage and Cultural Festival. They attracted more than just the ladies it seems.

In another bizarre enforcement action by the Commission for Virtue and the Prevention of Vices they were cast off due to their fearsomely attractive looks. A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission members feared female visitors could fall for them.

The UAE released an official statement indicating that the religious police were anxious over the unexpected presence of an unnamed female artist in the pavilion.

“Her visit to the UAE stand was a coincidence as it was not included in the program which we had already provided to the festival’s management,” Saeed Al Kaabi, head of the UAE delegation to the festival, said in a statement.

Due to this unspeakable condition, the three were swiftly deported, restoring normalcy to the virtuous.

The commission certainly had it on good authority that attractive men can sweep women away, to be corrupted by the unscrupulous, and partaking in morally unsound pleasures.

Afterward, they surely would be cast aside by these men, forcing otherwise virtuous women to live forever-after in shame as spinsters, fallen from grace and outcast from polite society.

  1. OK Paul, go ahead since you are so eager, spell it out. How are men being oppressed in the US? Here’s your chance. You might need to include cites, get busy now.

    1. Annie – the new sex and speech codes on college campuses are a clear oppression of men. The sissyfication of boys in our elementary schools is an oppression of men. The stupid reasons given for expelling males from school is further evidence of the oppression of men. Boys are no longer allowed ‘free play’ they are sent on play dates where the mothers structure the play time. They have stopped all the great playground games at school, because they are afraid some ‘special snowflake’ is going to get hurt. Boys have a lot of energy, those games gave them an outlet for that energy.

  2. The real reason is that the police found them to be too attractive. I am certain the religious police were fantasizing about them, which is why they got tossed.

  3. rafflaw – from your avatar pic, I think you would be safe in Saudi Arabia.

  4. I will have to scratch off “visit Saudi Arabia” from my bucket list now, because I do not want to get arrested! 🙂

  5. Paul,
I’m asking Samantha because she indicates something to that effect in her 9:42 statement. I find it interesting, however your take on it is less interesting to me, thanks anyway.

    1. Annie – to quote Jack Nicholson “You can’t stand the truth!”

  6. So Samantha, is it OK for Islamic men to mistreat their women here in the US? Are men in general being oppressed here?

    1. Annie – you are asking the wrong gender if you really want to know if men are being oppressed.

  7. Bailers, it doesn’t help that the MSM conspires by never making the distinction between power and rights.

After the Gulf War, some Saudi men and their families began to emigrate, but the US was not their first choice because of the risk in the US of losing children to the government or even banned from one’s home or employment on the strength of mere accusation.

Where Westerners see oppression against women in Saudi Arabia, Saudis see oppression against men in the US. I wonder if the gender suicide rates here and there match perceptions?

  8. If these guys make it to San Francisco, and go waltzing into a gay biker bar with big men wearing lots of black leather and customized Harley’s….Guess who rides in front and who sits in the rear?

  9. “western feminists” ( both male and female) as you call them have been complaining about Saudi Arabi for years. Unfortunately the macho males in power just loves those Saudis! It’s the oil, the money the wars and the powers that be don’t care about human rights at all. If they did most countries in the ME would have stopped getting our billions long ago.

  10. They may be spies who will lure females into their trap and get valuable information to take back to Arabia. Or, they’ll be deported to Las Vegas, where they’ll become Chippendale dancers and buy up all the convenient stores and become millionaires.

  11. Sounds like petty jealousy to me. 🙂 Some guys just cannot stand competition.

  12. Samantha,
Western feminists know what’s going on. They just don’t care.

The activist feminists care about political power more than actual women’s rights. Not much political gain in criticizing another country or religion that isn’t Christianity for their mistreatment of women.

  13. It is much better to be deported….. than to have your head removed! Happy Weekend!

  14. When Western feminists find out what’s going on in Saudi Arabia, they won’t know whether to sit on the throne or go blind.
