No, this is not The Onion website. Reportedly Omar Borkan Al Gala and two other attractive men were deported by Saudi Arabia because they were too handsome and debauchery would ensue.
Telegraph reports the men were delegates of the United Arab Emirates for the Jenadrivah Heritage and Cultural Festival. They attracted more than just the ladies it seems.
In another bizarre enforcement action by the Commission for Virtue and the Prevention of Vices they were cast off due to their fearsomely attractive looks. A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission members feared female visitors could fall for them.
The UAE released an official statement indicating that the religious police were anxious over the unexpected presence of an unnamed female artist in the pavilion.
“Her visit to the UAE stand was a coincidence as it was not included in the program which we had already provided to the festival’s management,” Saeed Al Kaabi, head of the UAE delegation to the festival, said in a statement.
Due to this unspeakable condition, the three were swiftly deported, restoring normalcy to the virtuous.
The commission certainly had it on good authority that attractive men can sweep women away, to be corrupted by the unscrupulous, and partaking in morally unsound pleasures.
Afterward, they surely would be cast aside by these men, forcing otherwise virtuous women to live forever-after in shame as spinsters, fallen from grace and outcast from polite society.

Hahahahaha! Thanks for verifying this was not an Onion article, because that was exactly my question from the headline.
It’s funny, because my Persian friends told me that Saudi Arabian men preferred Persian wives, because many were more beautiful than Saudi women. (Many Persian women are, indeed beautiful.)
I guess I can see how that would happen if they deport all the attractive men. Maybe the hedonistic royals didn’t want the competition. 🙂
You can not trust a Saudi male, with or without a tent on the head, they all carry box cutters and plane tickets.
I would add Sidney Poitier, Harry Belafonte, Mohammed Ali, Denzel Washington, James Earl Jones.

There has been a paradigm shift in the male sex symbol since the feminist revolution of the 70’s. The sex symbols prior were more virile. The sex symbols after, more feminine ala Leo, Depp, Kutcher. The interesting ones in my thinking are the ones who overlapped, they were sex symbols before and after, ala Newman, Brando. I think they changed their persona to fit the new paradigm.
This is an interesting topic and doesn’t need to be vitriolic. The female sex symbols have also transformed, I think even more so and much more dangerously. Men have always loved women w/ curves. But, the fashion industry, controlled by gay males, is starving women to death and foisting upon our culture that they are what defines beauty. The vast majority of women don’t find skinny attractive. It is just so dysfunctional.
