Thank you so much. I have been posting these public on Facebook and my Choir Director at the Lutheran Church that directs our Messiah Choir that we have annually saw that flash mob and guess what she wants to do??? She want’s to do one up at the mall in Cape Girardeau MO. lol I can’t wait. It is on Dec 20 at 2:00pm at the West Gate Mall off 55 and Drury Inn (Exit 55) I think everyone should drop what they are doing and come see the Hallelujah Chorus and if not, we will publish a Youtube.and maybe the Professor will let me post it. We have some raw talent and I am not speaking of myself. 🙂

      1. happypappies – if you do the flash mob be sure to get it filmed and up on YouTube for us. Then put a big circle around yourself. 😀

        1. Paul C. Schulte. When I spell out your name like this all the time I feel like I am talking to Charlie Brown…….

I’ll just put Bella my 3 pound Papillon in my purse so I can draw all kinds of attention to myself. No one will care because it is Cape Girardeau and it’s Christmas. 🙂 You have no idea what it’s like here. Everyone is always happy here. I am from Metropolitan St Louis and Ferguson so I don’t understand this. Whenever a policeman pulls me over, he issues me a warning. I never received a ticket but got several warnings. Nice polite ones.

People in the Churches that all mix socially have Praise Sings where we all get together. They think they are highly educated. I’m sure they are but…. I told Lois Scott, former Supervisor of Nursing at SE Hospital that it was a Spiritual Mecca there like Jacobs Well and they should promote it as such.

They are all so innocent and unassuming and don’t think I am taken in 🙂

          1. happypappies – you could do my name a macro on your computer. I do not know how to do it, just know that it is doable. 🙂 I am glad your life is all rainbows and unicorns. 🙂

  1. Glad Karen and Msjettexas enjoyed The Messiah here is something beautiful to look at also while listening.

  2. Absolutely fabulous

I love the looks on the faces in the crowd, especially the children. They don’t often get to see and hear music being creating right in front of their own eyes. I hope it inspires some young child to want to be a musician as well!

And of course there is going to be a Grinch in the crowd or one atheist among the many who enjoyed the experience to make a big fuss and ruin it for everyone else.

  3. More of our military excellance that is sure to annoy the likes of 99guspuppet. I saw these guys live at a school trip to D.C. when I was in 8th grade. It was one of the most memorable moments of the trip for me.

  4. shelly – “Army vs. Navy: Who’s got funk?”

Shelly, very cool. After our fireman parades some of the companies that have full drum lines will sit afterwards and have drum-offs. They are really cool to see in person. So much volume.

  5. Although not quite a mob it still shows how to make some positive out of an annoying situation.

  6. 99guspuppet – “Jim22 is happy I am unhappy ….. Jim22 , I hope you have a great life !”

I am having a great life, so thanks. It’s not perfect but I really can’t/shouldn’t complain. I’m also happy that I don’t live in a dark and bitter world like you seem to want.

  7. @Rufus . . . that was moving. Music is an international language and one that can bring us all together at certain times.

  8. Jim22 is happy I am unhappy ….. Jim22 , I hope you have a great life !

Aridog thinks I misunderstand what the US military is for…… Costing close to 1 trillion dollars per year , I see a gap between the PR-hype …. and what is actually done by the military. Does not matter who directs the USM. Does not matter who is part of the USM. What matters is what the USM does.

    Don’t worry …… be happy

  9. Shelly:

    Loooooooooooooooooooooooved it!

I just showed my 4 year old Episode IV for the first time last night. I told him the blasters knocked everyone out, and the pilots all ejected, and nobody died, and that was NOT a shot used to try to make Princess Leia talk.

  10. Shelly – your link was to a huge flash mob that suddenly froze in place at a train station. If you can find the Star Wars subway, I’d love to see it. I’m a Sci Fi nerd!

  11. Happy – beautiful!

Msjettexas – awesome music. Reminds me of when me and my sister used to dress to the nines and go swing and salsa dancing at The Brown Derby, The Coconut Club, and various salsa clubs. So much more glamorous than a meat market nightclub. It’s probably been 10 or 15 years now.

  12. Shelly – great video. Drum lines are so exciting.

Anarchist – don’t call Professor Turley names. It’s rude and shows a distinct immaturity in being unable to write a dissent calling people names.

  13. So beautiful! I’m very partial to the USAF, because my dad is a retired AF officer.

I would SO LOVE to witness a flash mob in person. So creative and fun!
