Attorney Matt McLaughlin, an attorney in Huntington Beach, California, is facing a call for disbarment after he filed for a statewide resolution that would legalize the execution of gay people and make it a crime to support gay rights in the state. Anyone can file such papers and, for just $200, force the attorney general to prepare a title and a summary for the proposed new law. The question is whether this despicable act can or should be used for a bar action as conduct that shows that he is not of “good moral character.”
The 2016 initiative, named the “Sodomite Suppression Act”, is awaiting further review by the office of the state attorney general, Kamala Harris, and would mandate “any person who willingly touches another person of the same gender for purposes of sexual gratification be put to death by bullets to the head, or by any other convenient method.” It would also make it a crime to support gay rights, punishable by a $1 million fine and up to 10 years in prison (as well as expulsion from the state). It would also make it illegal to distribute “sodomistic propaganda” to “any person under the age of majority”. Furthermore, being a “sodomite” or distributing “sodomistic propaganda” would disqualify a resident from serving in public office or public employment and from enjoying any public benefit. McLaughlin stated in his proposal that it is “better that offenders should die rather than that all of us should be killed by God’s just wrath”. Suffice it to say, McLaughlin has some serious issues as well as a serious need for psychoanalysis.
However, what he did was the exercise of a legal action with the political system. There is an ironic twist to the notion of his claims of morality being used to establish that he is not of “good moral character.” We have faced this type of issue before. If an attorney does not engage in discriminatory or hateful treatment of clients or witnesses, should he be punished for his political or moral views? I tend to be leery of speech being the basis for criminal or bar sanctions because it is difficult to see where to draw the line. There are many attorneys who engage in political speech as individuals that is deemed insulting to different races or genders.
State senator Ricardo Lara and others have filed a formal complaint with the state bar. It is not clear if any proceeding would bring up past controversies with McLaughlin, including his 2004 proposed initiative to add the King James Bible as a textbook in California public schools. Once again, such efforts are taken in his capacity as a citizen within the political system.
What do you think?
@Ken Rogers,
Plus, it seems that I am not wrong that apps such as Grindr increase the std rate among gayish men. Drudge had a story today about rising syphilis rates in NYC, mostly among gay men. Also, I just googled, and this came up:
http://www.gaystarnews.com/article/uk-sexual-health-experts-blame-grindr-increase-stds050115
Sooo, it looks like the greatest danger to gay men truly is other gay men, something I have repeatedly claimed.

@Ken Rogers,
Believe it or not, I do not put anything past the Government-Industrial Complex, sooo I have no difficulty in believing that numbers will be fudged if money is at stake. For example, the Global Warming data numbers, which more and more people are calling into question. That being said, I do not think this is happening on the HIV/AIDS front. The people who have it seem to physically and mentally deteriorate and I have seen a a couple of cases of it myself, in clients of my BFF Fabia Sheen, Esq., an attorney.
Frankly, I think the incidence, prevalence, and fatality numbers are understated.

No, because even though I was trained by the CDC as an STD epidemiologist, as an agency of the US Corporate State, they aren’t interested in information from me or anyone else that threatens their very cozy political relationship with the pharmaceutical industry, which manufactures the vaccines and the AIDS drugs which the CDC promotes.

Whistleblower Says CDC Knowingly Put Children at Risk of Autism, Media Remains Silent (+Video)
By Celia Farber | August 26, 2014
Last Updated: February 17, 2015 12:16 pm
“This screenshot from the video “CDC Whistleblower” on YouTube shows Dr. Brian Hooker. Hooker used information provided by CDC scientist Dr. William Thompson to discover the original data sets for an article that claimed to prove that there is no relation between the MMR vaccine and autism. (Autism Media Channel)
“ ‘Oh my God, I did not believe that we did what we did, but we did. It’s all there… This is the lowest point in my career, that I went along with that paper. I have great shame now when I meet families of kids with autism, because I have been part of the problem.’—CDC Whistleblower Dr. William W. Thompson, in a recorded interview with Dr. Brian Hooker.
“On Aug. 19 came a bombshell revelation charging an intentional fraud at the Centers for Disease Control has put black children at greater risk of developing autism. A week has passed, and the media can’t seem to decide what to do with the story.
“The advocacy group Focus Autism published on its website on Aug. 19 a press release that explained that a whistleblower inside the CDC, Dr. William W. Thompson, had helped Dr. Brian Hooker discover that a bedrock paper proving that vaccines don’t cause autism was based on fraudulent data.
The website also published a video (credited to the Autism Media Channel) documenting the amazing tale of a guilt-wracked government scientist (Thompson) and the father of an autistic child who happened to have a PhD in chemical engineering (Hooker), searching for the truth about his son’s disease.
Hooker had been examining data sets for years, trying to discover the true cause or causes of his son’s severe autism, which is a blanket term for neurological impairment.
“Autism rates began rapidly rising in the 1990s (according to the CDC, in 2014 1 in 68 children in the United States has autism. In the 1970s and 1980s, the rate was 1 in 2000), and some researchers and parents of autistic children began speculating that rounds of vaccines, especially in combination, were responsible.
“One day Hooker got a phone call. Thompson reached out to him—Hooker says Thompson appointed Hooker as his “priest”—and began providing clues to guide Hooker’s research.
“The Focus Autism release explains how Hooker, making use of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) as well as a Congressional request, finally found the bombshell Thompson had wanted him to find. Upon reexamining a study published in 2004 that the CDC had used to establish the safety of the MMR vaccine, which is given to babies to inoculate them against measles, mumps, and rubella, Hooker discovered: “African American boys receiving their first MMR vaccine before 36 months of age were 3.4 (or around 236 percent) times more likely to develop autism vs. after 36 months.”
“Using the original data sets of the 2004 study, Hooker published a peer-reviewed paper showing the results of the research. [UPDATE on Aug. 31: Hooker’s article was unpublished by the journal Translational Neurodegneration, and an undated notice was posted in its place. The notice says, in part, “This article has been removed from the public domain because of serious concerns about the validity of its conclusions.”]
According to Hooker, the data set for the paper was altered. Data was initially gathered on 2,583 children. When the evidence pointed to a strong link between MMR and autism, the researchers found a way to cut the study group, almost in half.
“They excluded any children that did not have a valid State of Georgia Birth Certificate, which reduced the cohort by 41 percent and greatly diluted the significance of the original correlation.
“The resulting paper, commonly known as the DeStefano et. al. study, was published in the journal Pediatics in 2004. “[It] is widely used by the CDC and other public health organizations to support a claim that there is no link between vaccines and autism,” says the Focus Autism press release.
The study answered a purpose. In the video, Thompson complains that higher-ups wanted certain results, and he went along.”

You still have an autism study with more than a 1000 children in it and the cut-off is not unreasonable. I have seen studies with as few as 18 people cited.
What do I think?
I believe Mr. McLaughlin should file an SLAPP action against the Senator.
I take great exception to an elected official retaliating against a citizens’s livelihood for that person engaging in a constitutionally protected action–especially one related to the election process.

“Well, obviously this attorney has never heard of the Grindr app, which permits more frequent acts of sodomy between strangers, and hence more cases of HIV. My goodness, 20% of men who have sex with men are already infected with HIV, sooo gay-ish men are already doing this guy’s work for him!”
Squeaks, you need a new homophobic talking point. There are over 60 physiological phenomena that can engender a positive HIV test result, which is why the test manufacturers insert the following disclaimers in each test kit:
“HIV TEST KIT DISCLAIMERS
“ELISA Test
“At present there is no recognized standard for establishing the presence or absence of HIV-1 antibody in human blood.” (Abbott Laboratories, ELISA HIV Antibody Test Insert, section “Sensitivity and Specificity”)
“EIA testing cannot be used to diagnose AIDS… The risk of an asymptomatic person with a repeatedly reactive serum developing AIDS or an AIDS-related
condition is not known.” (Abbott Laboratories, ELISA HIV Antibody Test Insert, section “Limitations of the Procedure”) “Clinical studies continue to clarify and refine the inte rpretation and medical significance of the presence of antibodies to HIV-1.” (Abbott Laboratories, ELSA HIV Antibody Test Insert, section “Limitations of the Procedure”) Western Blot Test “Do not use this kit as the sole basis of diagnosis of HIV-1 infection.” (Eptope, Inc., Western Blot HIV Antibody Test Insert, section “Limitations of the Procedure”) “The clinical implications of antibodies to HIV-1 in an asymptomatic person are not known.” (Calypte,
Cambridge Biotech HIV-1 Western Blot Kit, section “L
imitations of the Serum and Plasma Procedure”)
PCR “Viral Load” Test
“The AMPLICOR HIV-1 MONITOR test, is not intended to be used as a screening test for HIV or as a diagnostic test to confirm the presence of HIV infection.” (Roche, Amplicor HIV-1 Monitor Test Kit, section “Intended Use”).
As Nobel Laureate Kerry Mullis writes, “It’s not even probable, let alone
scientifically proven, that HIV causes AIDS. If there is evidence that HIV causes AIDS, there should be scientific documents which either singly or collectively
demonstrate that fact, at least with a high probability. There are no
such documents. (Dr. Kary Mullis, Nobel Laureate for PCR (viral load) technology).

See also, among a *multitude* of expressions of rejection of the HIV/AIDS hypothesis by physicians and medical scientists:
“THE GREAT HIV / AIDS HOAX
“The multi-billion dollar AIDS/HIV fraud is based on two fabrications: that
AIDS is a single disease and that it is caused by the HI virus or the “HIV
virus” as some medical/media masterminds call it – perhaps they think the V
in HIV stands for volcano.
“In Japan ‘AIDS’ is virtually unknown : yet, in random tests, 25% of people
were found to be ‘HIV-positive.’
‘HIV-positive response means nothing of any relevance to health: it can be
triggered by vaccination, malnutrition, M.S., measles, influenza, papilloma
virus wart, Epstein Barr virus, leprosy, glandular fever, hepatitis,
syphillis … : over sixty different conditions. [including pregnancy]
“Dr. Robert E. Willner, inoculated himself with the blood of Pedro Tocino, a
HIV-positive haemophiliac, on live Spanish television : an event which was
not picked up the pharma-beholden British or US media.
The great HIV/AIDS lie was created by Robert Gallo who was found guilty of
‘scientific misconduct’. ..instead of trying to prove his insane theories
about AIDS to his peers…he went public. Then, with the help of Margaret
Heckler, former head of Health and Human Services, who was under great
political pressure to come up with an answer to AIDS, the infamous world
press announcement of the discovery of the so-called AIDS virus came about.
” ‘This great fraud is now responsible for the deaths of hundreds of
thousands… It was no accident that Gallo just happened to patent the test
for HIV the day after the announcement…Gallo is now a multi-millionaire
because of AIDS and his fraudulent AIDS test.’ Dr. Willner.
“By grouping together 25-plus different diseases and other allied factors –
pneumonia, herpes, candidiasis, salmonella, various cancers, infections,
vaccine and antibiotic damage, amyl nitrate damage, malnutrition etc.and,
particularly in Africa, TB, malaria, dysentery leprosy and ‘slim disease’ –
and calling the whole thing an ‘AIDS epidemic’, a multi-billion
dollar/pound ‘AIDS research and treatment’ racket has been created.
“The mythical ‘HIV-induced AIDS plague’ in the Third World generates huge
sums of cash from Western relief organisations whilst smoke-screening the
vaccine/drug boys, responsible for the carnage.
“Every death of someone ‘HIV-positive’ is recorded as an ‘AIDS death’.
“Periodically, the BBC/ITV/Press visit Africa/Yugoslavia/Russia etc to
report on the “HIV/AIDS victims” and how they cannot afford the
‘life-saving AZT.’
“Glaxo Wellcome’s lethal drug, AZT, in combination with the diagnosis of
HIV-positive and the prediction, stated or implied, that – “You will die of
AIDS” is one of the great pieces of Medical Black Magic – Voodoo Medicine
at its most impressive : people have committed suicide on the basis of the
ludicrous diagnosis.
“Pregnant women who are HIV-positive have been told to stop breast-feeding,
dosed with AZT, have had abortions or have been sterilised. HIV-positive
babies who become ill -from vaccination or whatever – are automatically
diagnosed as ‘suffering from AIDS’.
” ‘Considering that there is little scientific proof of the exact linkage of
HIV and AIDS, is it ethical to prescribe AZT, a toxic chain terminator of
DNA…to 150,000 Americans – among them pregnant women and newborn
babies..?’ Rep.G Gutknecht US House of Representatives.
“New Labour ‘Health’ have now announced that all pregnant women in the UK
will be ‘offered’ a HIV test. Those who fall for the scam and who are
diagnosed as ‘HIV positive’ will be given the chance to have themselves and
their unborn child permanently damaged by AZT etc. Pregnancy, itself, can
cause a positive diagnosis.
“AZT began as a ‘cancer drug’ but was withdrawn for being too toxic: like
being thrown out of the Gestapo for cruelty. Its effects include – cancer,
hepatitis, dementia, seizures, anxiety, impotence, leukopaenia, severe
nausea, ataxia, etc. and the termination of DNA synthesis. i.e., AIDS/death
by prescription. AZT eventually kills all those who continue to take it.”

This is a simple one. Let the application be processed and reviewed on it’s merits–and let the idiot reap the harvest, socially and economically, for his idiocy. Of course, there are enough Aryan Nationals and Jesus Freaks out there that he might actually see business improve, but that’s America–even the worst of us deserve legal representation.
My take on this: he has no intention of actually trying to get this passed. It’s fairly obvious, at least to me. He is trying to make a name for himself, perhaps run for political office of some sort. This way he has some sort of name recognition. Not sure if the Bar can decide to yank his law license if he is able to defend his ideas based upon well established Biblical principles.
Another odd comment from the one who always makes odd comments.
Doesn’t seem to be hurting anyone. The move to disbar him smacks of thought control
Did I miss something? Did this idiot attorney behead or stone anyone to death?
Another manic phase.

Seems this guy is making it very difficult to get any real info on him. I wonder why?
Hmmm, while I am at it, let me propose a bill which might actually be more fair to everybody. First, let’s provide the foundation. Assume John Doe goes into a bar, picks up some drunk chick, and has a one night stand with her. He doesn’t even remember her name, or ever call. Sadly for him, he knocks her up!
Chickie poo goes to court and names him as the father, and DNA testing confirms it. Now, John Doe is on the hook for 18-21 years of child support, being forced to pay roughly half the expenses for raising the kid. His paycheck can be garnished for the funds, and his driving privileges revoked if he tries to skip out on the money. Now, most people don’t see anything wrong with this, considering that John Doe is the one who had the sexual fun, and that since he played, he can pay! Plus, why should society bear the cost for his org*sms???
Sooo, how about treating gay guys the same way as straight guys, when they infect their partner with HIV??? That would run to about $2,000 per month (according to some estimates which place the medical costs at about $4,000 per month) until the recipient dies. We could even tag the guilty party for the equivalent of alimony if the recipient become unable to work. We could garnish said gay guy’s pay check and revoke his driving privileges if he tries to skip out on the money.
We could call this, Squeeky’s Gay Equality Bill!!! And who could object? I mean, after all, the gay guy had the sexual fun. He played, and he can pay. Why should society pay the cost for his org*sms??? But why do I think most gays would object to this???
