When Stephanie Hernandez, an Arkansas mother of a 3-year-old and an 8-month-old daughter, was found dead recently, the police did not have to look far. They simply checked out social media and found a picture of her boyfriend, Rafael Gonzalez, pointing a gun at her head. Hernandez was killed just hours after the pictures were posted on Snapchat.
The pictures were taken in Hernandez’ Little Rock home. He added the caption “Strap Chat” to the picture of pointing a gun at his girlfriend’s head. Hernandez, 21, was later found dead from a gunshot wound. The home was also ransacked with blood all over one of the floors.

Gonzalez, 20, was arrested the next day and has now been charged with first-degree murder. The family had reportedly tried to get Hernandez to stop seeing Gonzalez who was viewed (with obviously good reason) as a loser and a “bad influence.” Hernandez had moved into a new home and was beginning a new life with a new job (to begin the Monday morning before she was shot).
Friends says that Gonzalez is “fresh straight out of the penitentiary.”

Nah.
When the shooter is from their side, they focus on the guns, when there’s a Confederate flag, they focus on ‘cracker + flag.’
The race is determined by the case.
KCF, I looked @ photos of the killer. Do you think our President will say, “He could be my son.”
Nick Spinelli
The killer was a hater of Christians. Sound familiar??
Two days ago an a Muslim honor killing was claimed as evidence that Christian “fundamentalists” are / promote crazy. It’ll be amusing to watch the dance of these same people avoiding drawing the same conclusions about atheists.
Since the killer was black and singled out Christians for death, this mass murder will fade quickly in the media.
I do note that on his Wiccan dating site he described himself as a ‘conservative Republican’, but he had modified his entry the day of the shooting and was in fact registered in Oregon as an Independent in 2013.
I don’t love the 2nd Amendment. I just don’t hate it like some, who also hate the 1st Amendment as well. The killer was a hater of Christians. Sound familiar??
So Nick D comes out with it, the deaths of all these innocents is acceptable to those who ‘love’ the 2nd amendment. I am assuming Nick D loves the 2nd amendment so it follows that he is not moved by the carnage. After all he has seen it all, done it all, and knows that it all can’t be any other way, that limiting guns would only limit the innocent deaths and those deaths have already been factored into the ‘absolute’ love of the 2nd amendment and the absolute freedom for anyone to own a gun, or ‘not be infringed’.
Personally I find the 2nd amendment in need of being brought into the moment. It is neither something to be loved or hated. It is to be respected or not. I don’t love the evil my country does nor do I love the good it does. It may be a matter of semantics or it may be an indication of how the mind and common sense is placed aside for so called love of this or that, mindless love.

Annie,
We all know that Gun Free Zones are only as effective as the amount of gunz available and to whom.
Lisa N.
I don’t disagree with you about the children.
What I disagree with you on is the racism present in your comment.

“Nevertheless, Max is thrilled the Oregon gunman targeted Chrisitians.”
= = =
Now, you quote me like how I just quoted you.
Or, stand in the lie.
Max – Lisa N
“You would think that customs and immigration would have deported him when he was initially arrested…”
I completely agree with you. It’s horrible that these children won’t have a mother.
The campus was not a gun free zone, O’ Reilly is interviewing a veteran/student that was carrying a gun on campus. The police told him to stay in the behind the crime scene tape.
Nevertheless, Max is thrilled the Oregon gunman targeted Chrisitians.
ps
This is school shooting number 45 this year in week number 40 of the year… Do the math. Good thing schools just got back from summer break…
I will say that watching the mental acrobatics on this site regarding gunz is entertaining. Anything to keep to keep the streets flooded with deadly weapons… Keeping Murcans safe.
Gunz… Glorious gunz!!!
Mass shooting today in Oregon. Good thing gunz are so easily accessible, NO?
Kudos to Dusty Queen. She develops a new argument in favor of some felons owning guns because, of course, she only knows Good Felons.
Oh…… H3ll no. I know some felons who should not be given guns and who are not very nice people at all. Not. At. All. I know some very bad people and know enough to keep them away from me. One of which is actually a relative.
The issue that I have with the “felons don’t get guns”. Or. “felons don’t get to vote” or “Sex offenders must be registered for evah!!!!” ……is that there doesn’t seem to be any allowance for the levels of or the circumstances of the offenses. For instance….two teens who send each other nude photos on their smart phones are now registered right along with the serial rapist and pedophiles. The guy who at 19 has sex with his 17 1/2 yr old girlfriend…..forever on the registry.
As for felonies, there should also be some level of proportionality. The guy who got caught smoking or possessing some minor amount of pot before it became legal to do the same exact thing and who poses no threat to society should not be further punished. This guy isn’t the same as the felon who shot up people in an armed robbery.
The level of the felony and the nature of the crime should be taken into consideration. As well as the time elapsed since the occurrence of the crime with no further criminality in the picture.
DBQ, I was of course speaking of Federal crime convictions.
So was I. And so am I.
Obviously, THIS guy in this particular case is one of those levels and circumstances where he should not have been allowed (I do know he wasn’t ‘allowed’) to possess a weapon. Once you have been convicted of a “violent” crime you should need to not only serve your time and prove that you have the ability to regain your rights.
I imagine in California it is tough since that state hates the 2nd Amendment, almost as much as some folks here.
DBQ, I was of course speaking of Federal crime convictions. The rules for state agency convicted felons would be the purview of the State Attorney General.
Tough rules here.
“Kudos” is apparently an attack.
