Debbie Wasserman Schultz Takes The Fall. Clinton Rewards Her Loyalty With A New Position

By Darren Smith, Weekend Contributor

225px-Hillary_Clinton_official_Secretary_of_State_portrait_cropAs many of us expected, Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz fell on the sword after leaked e-mail revealed she and other DNC officials rigged the system to hurt Candidate Bernie Sanders’ campaign as a competitor to Hillary Clinton. Wasserman Schultz’ self “sacrifice”, if you can call it that, along with unwavering loyalty was quickly rewarded by Clinton appointing Wasserman Schultz to serve as her “Honorary” Chair of Clinton’s 50 State Program to help elect Democrats throughout the United States.

Really? The very person who was implicated in a plan to rig a primary election to favor a particular candidate is now placed in a leadership role to help elect other politicians. And, adding to this, the appointment came as a personal reward for deflecting the blame away from the presidential Candidate that received the benefit of such rigging.

It is just another example of the cronyism and corruption that is becoming increasingly self-evident with the practices of Hillary Clinton.

The following is a statement from Hillary Clinton:

Hillary Clinton Statement on the Resignation of Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Following today’s resignation of Debbie Wasserman Schultz from her role as Chair of the Democratic National Committee, Hillary Clinton issued the following statement:

“I want to thank my longtime friend Debbie Wasserman Schultz for her leadership of the Democratic National Committee over the past five years. I am grateful to Debbie for getting the Democratic Party to this year’s historic convention in Philadelphia and I know that this week’s events will be a success thanks to her hard work and leadership. There’s simply no one better at taking the fight to the Republicans than Debbie–which is why I am glad that she has agreed to serve as an honorary chair of my campaign’s 50-state program to gain ground and elect Democrats in every part of the country, and will continue to serve as a surrogate for my campaign nationally, in Florida and other key states. I look forward to campaigning with Debbie in Florida and helping her in her re-election bid–because as President, I will need fighters like Debbie in Congress who are ready on day one to get to work for the American people.”

I might disagree that we need more politicians in Congress who are willing to harm the democratic election process in order to favor particular candidates approving to Hillary Clinton.

Looking at the larger picture, are we as citizens truly wanting to elect a president who has shown the complicity and willingness to disenfranchise others who might choose to run for office? Or worse, a president who will reward those showing such blind loyalty, that they are willing to break laws and rules to serve whatever ends might benefit the president personally.

Hillary Clinton’s appointment of Wasserman Schultz after all that has been revealed so far shows that persons having no integrity to support a fair election process serves as a good predictor as to what we can expect in her upcoming appointments to both cabinet positions or others under the purview of a president.

As an aside to the email leak scandal, The Clinton campaign is now accusing the Russian Government of meddling in the election process of the United States by being the ones responsible for obtaining the DNC email. Well, I can say that the emails so far released have been truthful, regardless of the source. Meddling in the truth, how unsporting in today’s politics. Yet it seems rather hypocritical to accuse the Russians trying to influence an American election as spoken from the same political party leadership that sought to influence an election to kick Bernie Sanders to the curb and anoint Hillary Clinton as the party favorite.

Voters? It does not seem to matter what they want.

But we cannot forget the home-brew secret email server Hillary Clinton hosted in her home under the watchful eye of some mom-and-pop computer store caliber security expert. She insists that there was no evidence that a foreign state hacked into her secretive clintonemail.com domain but the DNC servers were certainly hacked by the Russian Government.

Apparently, more leaked DNC email is forthcoming.

  1. I’d like to suggest another take on the notion of the “Russian hack” of the DNC e-mails and the speculation that Clinton’s personal e-mail system was almost certainly hacked by foreign agents. Can we also agree that the NSA certainly has the Clinton e-mails including the 30,000 or so that were erased?

If we agree that is likely, then it brings up another line of speculation. It has been suggested that the NSA’s “collect-it-all” mentality isn’t primarily directed at terrorism. None other than William Binney has stated that “collect-it-all” overwhelms the system with data for real-time analysis. What it does accomplish is to establish a searchable data-base that can be searched for blackmail or for smear campaigns. Many of us believe that Clinton’s erased e-mails may contain information that she wanted to hide for reasons other than she has claimed. If that is the case, doesn’t that place her under the thumb of the “deep state” ?

    1. Hillary is blaming it on unnamed Russians, but she can just go with Guccifer 2.0. Why cause a problem with a guy who bought 20% of 50% of the American uranium reserves while she was SoS. Made the Clinton Foundation hundreds of millions of dollars. She needs to be careful just whose hand she is trying to bite.

  2. HRC out does the “Teflon Don”. John Gotti. Famous quote: “No problem”.

  3. Julian Assange is dreaming if he thinks that Hillary will be indicted.
Instead, look forward to more dog and pony shows ala Dir. James Comey, or Comey clones.

  4. @Paul

No we are only screwed if we accept the status quo they are trying to shove down our throats. I, for one, will keep fighting. And there are millions just like me who are out there.

re: “Clinton would not get indicted no matter what evidence arises. Clinton has been selected by the global elite as the preferred puppet to be in charge of Uncle Sham.” I agree.

HRC could be filmed stabbing a baby to death and her supporters (and the MSM) would insist it was a mercy killing. No matter what Wiki releases it will not change the minds of her mindless supporters.

BUT we the people — whether Berniebots or Trumpsters can still defeat her if we work together.

  6. “are we as citizens truly wanting to elect a president who has shown the complicity and willingness to disenfranchise others who might choose to run for office?”

Apparently the answer to that is a resounding YES.

    We are screwed.

  7. Cronyism and corruption will not stop the Clinton machine. And Clinton would not get indicted no matter what evidence arises. Clinton has been selected by the global elite as the preferred puppet to be in charge of Uncle Sham. They like that she’s corrupt. That makes her all the more certain to follow their orders and make for a seamless transition from Obama, their previous puppet. (And yes, George W. Bush was their puppet too. This isn’t a Democrat-Republican thing. It’s a control thing.) And the people that will be voting for Clinton will be doing so regardless of her corruption and crimes, if not because of them.

As the DNC begins to roll into action, expect the DNC, the global elite controlled mainstream media, and countless “pundits” to be attacking Trump as “racist, sexist, anti-Semitic, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, anti-Hispanic, and misogynistic.” Have I covered everything? Word has it that the London bookmakers have discussed setting an over-and-under on the number of individuals attacks on Trump as hating individuals or groups on the basis of race, sex, religion, or national origin. The number they are talking about is 1,200. If there’s a betting line, I’d still take the over, despite that formidable sounding number. The DNC loves repeating lies over and over. It’s their stock-in-trade.

    1. Ralph Adamo – Been following the Illuminati hand signs given off by Merkel and others lately. Keep an eye on Hillary for the sign.

  8. Graciela, I wish more people would speak out about the decline of the Democratic Party. My father was a loyal democrat. He couldn’t believe me when I voted for Nixon. The problems with a third party are many. What if no one wins? Do we have another election between the top two? At this point the only good a third party can do is vote with one of the two major parties. If Libertarians had voted for Romney the last four years would have been far better. I suggest Libertarians team up with the Republican Party and get a voice. At this point those are the two most alike. Make A Deal with the Art of the Deal candidate with agreed upon positions in the government. Imagine, we didn’t have to live through Obama’s second term and all the garbage in it.

  9. We Progressives are doing everything we can to ensure HRC gets nowhere near the WH (as are the Trumpsters). Also, we are helping Tim Canova in his quest to beat DWS. Bernie may have been neutered but the movement remains stronger than ever. And it is “yuuge”

I can’t say it often enough: HRC is dangerous to this nation and the entire world.

  10. “The Clinton campaign is now accusing the Russian Government of meddling in the election process of the United States by being the ones responsible for obtaining the DNC email.”

Well … if anybody know Russian hacking on a mail server when she sees it, it ought to be Hillary Clinton.

Outside the NSA, Clinton has got to be the nations pre eminent expert on the subject of Russian hacking of email servers.

If true, and why should we doubt Clinton, I say we owe a big shout out and a big thank you to the Russians for presenting clear evidence of how the democratic process works.

    Thanx Ruskies, Go Bears!

  11. The Clintons are faithful to their long-time supporters. DWS may not have spent millions to the Clinton Foundation, but she rigged the game for Hillary.

  12. Julian Assange says that more is coming, and that it will be enough to indict HRC. Time will tell. In the meantime, there was an interview on FOX with some HRC higher up, and when he was asked about HRC naming DWS as co-chair, he said, and this is pretty close, “Debbie is the one who got us where we are today!”— I was LMAO, because she sure did!

HRC is clueless. The criminality is overwhelming.

  13. My conclusion is that by now we do not have any more a Democratic Party that deserves our effort and support. I am ready for a third party. In fact, I have already done research and I know where I will move next. The two party system with the demoralizing condition both parties are today do not deserve the respect and support of the American people. We are in a new century and we need new blood and ideas. To a point I can understand now why Rep.Boehner cried when he resigned to his position in Congress as Speaker of the majority. He broke the law and insulted our elected President following the Republican Party orders and still he was thrown out like a used piece of rug. The Democratic Party and the Republican Party are both rotten to the core.

  14. This is a terrific example of failing upwards.

In reality, she probably had to be given a plum job elsewhere or otherwise both Debbie would have some leverage on Hillary.

This should be of concern…..not the institutional resistance to Senator Sanders which was well known–I again ask the question from Professor Turley and His Contributors: What about Trump? The only recent thing I saw was Professor Turley’s criticism of Justice Ginsberg……

  16. Hillary should withdraw if she really believes defeating Trump in November is in the best interests of the country. Unfortunately, the bests interests of the country have never really been her focus!
