We have discussed past protests where organizers have engaged in open racial discrimination in the name of fight discrimination. We have another such example out of the Black DNC Resistance March in Philadelphia with a twist: the racial segregation of reporters. The question is whether reporters should be disciplined for agreeing to such racial discrimination either as beneficiaries or victims of such discrimination.
One of the leaders declares “I need all white people to move to the back – make space because this is a Black Resistance March . . . I need all white people to move to the back and make room for the black and brown brothers and sisters.”
That was not well received by the crowd which was reportedly half white and one person asks “What if white people were in Ferguson.”
It did not matter. Whites were told to go to the back of the protest: “You will appropriately take your place in the back of this march because it will be truly led by the black and brown community and that’s it.”
Then she added that the rule extended to media: “Make room for black media. White media get to the back. Black media come to the front.” It is not clear if any in the media complied but I would have serious reservations about a reporter who benefitted from racial discrimination over his or her colleagues. Indeed, all of the reporters should have refused such a discriminatory rule.
What do you think?
@peltonrandy
HRC is craven and corrupt. No matter of blaxsplaining can exonerate her. Our own guy, Jim Clyburn, just excused DWS blaming it on the staffers. This man who has been feeding off crumbs kicked down from Massa’s table and done nothing for the poor blacks in SC.

Goodbye DNC and good riddance.
The police force that was created to protect and serve is now a tool for our politicians. When were we before ever told in a peaceful protest to make room for a group of people of different color? We fought together with same goals or diverse goals. But we protested together. They hate the average American people that want the peaceful protest. The want the problem, the division, the anger so they have a chance to take people to jail. It is sickening how our politicians from both parties are manipulating the people that is angry because we see they way they lie, they steal, they show off on stage as if they were heroes. Most of our heroes and patriots are in jail, the criminals are free and involved in our politic system. Sen. Bernie Sanders awake the American people, I hope we do not go again to sleep. Our society needs people involved and aware. OR WE WILL WITNESS THE END OF OUR DEMOCRACY!

“I would think she wouldn’t fall in line and vote for HRC =)”
Why would you think this?
And what has HRC got to do with this incident? Just because this happened at a demonstrationt event outside the DNC does not mean that HRC is in anyway connected to it, responsible for it, or would condone it if she knew about it.
Thanks, Lisa…your factual timeline of the Democrats history just saved me a lot of writing. As a former liberal (from democrat all the way to communist) I ask all libs to do some deep soul searching and real research and you too may well be enlightened.
Martin Luther King was a Republican. He must have known something about the Democrats that made him uneasy. He must have known things he was too scared to say. The Democrats were as unlawful then, as they are now, it’s just they don’t hide it anymore and get away with it.
The Republican Party was founded primarily to oppose slavery, and Republicans eventually abolished slavery.
The Democratic Party fought them and tried to maintain and expand slavery.
The 13th Amendment, abolishing slavery, passed in 1865 with 100% Republican support but only 23% Democrat support in Congress.
During the Civil War era, the “Radical Republicans” were given that name because they wanted to not only end slavery but also to endow the freed slaves with full citizenship, equality, and rights.
Lincoln’s Vice President, Andrew Johnson, was a strongly pro-Union (but also pro-slavery) Democrat who had been chosen by (R) Lincoln as a compromise running mate to attract Democrats.
After Lincoln was assassinated, Johnson thwarted Republican efforts in Congress to recognize the civil rights of the freed slaves, and Southern Democrats continued to thwart any such efforts for close to a century.
The 14th Amendment, giving full citizenship to freed slaves, passed in 1868 with 94% Republican support and 0% Democrat support in congress.
The 15th Amendment, giving freed slaves the right to vote, passed in 1870 with 100% Republican support and 0% Democrat support in Congress.
The Ku Klux Klan (KKK) was originally and primarily an arm of the Southern Democratic Party. Its mission was to terrorize freed slaves and Republicans who sympathized with them.
In the 1950’s, President Eisenhower, a Republican, integrated the US Military and promoted civil rights for minorities. Eisenhower pushed through the Civil Rights Act of 1957.
One of Eisenhower’s primary political opponents on civil rights prior to 1957 was none other than Lyndon Johnson, then the Democratic Senate Majority Leader.
LBJ had voted the straight segregationist line until he changed his position and supported the 1957 Act.
The historic Civil Rights Act of 1964 was supported by a higher percentage of Republicans than Democrats in BOTH houses of Congress.
In the House, 80% of the Republicans and 63% of the Democrats voted in favor. In the Senate, 82% of the Republicans & 69% of Democrats voted for it.
Contrary to popular misconception, the parties never “switched” on racism.
The Democrats just switched from overt racism to a subversive strategy of getting minorities as dependent as possible on government to secure their votes.
At the same time, they began a cynical smear campaign to label anyone who opposes their devious strategy as greedy racists.
YET… many liberals, when pressed on the matter, will inevitably claim that the parties “switched” and that most racist Democrats became Republicans!
In their minds, this historical ju jitsu maneuver apparently transfers all the past sins of the Democrats (slavery, the KKK, Jim Crow Laws, etc..) onto the Republicans and all the past virtues of the Republicans (ending slavery etc…) onto the Democrats! That’s quite a feat!
These are a few basic historical facts that each and every American should know.
“White Noise Machine” and paid seat fillers are in use for Hillary’s speech
Guess it adds to the spontenaity.
I didn’t realize that the white noise machine had been used before by Hillary’s campaign.
Well, for the truly guilt ridden white person, there is a place where you can make voluntary reparations, with cash or services, or other assets.

I don’t look for a lot of SJWs to show up and contribute.

IMO you need to differentiate between these self-centered 1 issue protesters and the others who embrace all people and are about multiple issues.
Sadly, it is the former who get media attention.
Christine, You are absolutely correct. And normal blacks folk are angry @ the liberal MSM who prop up these fools.
This was @ the Hillary Coronation.
Well Darren, chants of “BLACK LIVES MATTER” were screamed during a moment of silence for cops that were killed. Is that what you mean???
One of the mistakes protesters make is that they tend to alienate those who might otherwise support their cause but instead are insulted and eventually regard the protesters as being the problem.
A poor outcome of their campaign might be where, in this case particularly, the other races who I presume are the entities they hope to elicit change in, quietly decide for themselves that involvement with black people results in being humiliated, scorned, or made to be objects of criticism. And, from there they make small decisions such as not going to a particular business, not associating with members of the black race, or hiring black individuals because they simply do not want to endure the possibility of negative experiences that protesters such as these espouse. Of course, one can substitute “Black” for any other demographic or organization. It is the same type of situation.
We see this with the stereotypical Social Justice Warrior. Many others likely support the goals they proclaim, but the SJWs often act with such extremity, intolerance, and unwillingness to accept a different approach than their own that many simply cannot bear to be around them. Some will even abandon advocating the common goal because they fear being associated with the SJW subculture. They truly do more damage to their cause than good.
All we can say is that the last 300-500 years of human rights advancements are completely lost on these throwbacks. Most black people are not like these morons. Most black people are embarrassed by them. The Media is also accountable for ignoring the brilliant black leaders who are off the plantation.
@Darren
I would think she wouldn’t fall in line and vote for HRC =)
What would Rosa Parks do?
Kind of like going to the back of the bus. I didn’t like it then and I don’t like it now. Hoping to walk together during my lifetime.
White and Asian kids are told to move to the back to “make room for the black and brown brothers and sisters” with every college admissions class.
I agree!
these minority folks are of the same ilk that took the mic from Bernie in Seattle. Totally pathetic hateful fringe folk who do NOT represent the majority of Bernieorbusters who are totally inclusive:
