Video: White Protesters and White Reporters At DNC Demonstrations Told To Move To The Back To “Make Room for the Black and Brown Brothers and Sisters.”

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 8.54.17 PMWe have discussed past protests where organizers have engaged in open racial discrimination in the name of fight discrimination.  We have another such example out of the Black DNC Resistance March in Philadelphia with a twist: the racial segregation of reporters.  The question is whether reporters should be disciplined for agreeing to such racial discrimination either as beneficiaries or victims of such discrimination.

One of the leaders declares “I need all white people to move to the back – make space because this is a Black Resistance March . . . I need all white people to move to the back and make room for the black and brown brothers and sisters.”

That was not well received by the crowd which was reportedly half white and one person asks “What if white people were in Ferguson.”

It did not matter.  Whites were told to go to the back of the protest: “You will appropriately take your place in the back of this march because it will be truly led by the black and brown community and that’s it.”

Then she added that the rule extended to media:  “Make room for black media.  White media get to the back. Black media come to the front.” It is not clear if any in the media complied but I would have serious reservations about a reporter who benefitted from racial discrimination over his or her colleagues.  Indeed, all of the reporters should have refused such a discriminatory rule.

What do you think?

  1. Autumn:

I actually voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary. However, I do not find the choice between Clinton and Trump difficult or debatable. I confess to being an elitist, which under our current diminished standards includes anyone expressing a preference for a chief executive who possesses a working vocabulary beyond a handful of derogatory and demeaning nouns.I am confident a majority of voters will manage to muster enough self-respect to reject this solipsistic adolescent in November.

  2. @mike appleton

nope. you are a delusional Hilbot. Her numbers continue to tank and the 46% of indies that pushed up the numbers for the Dems in terms of voting due to supporting Bernie are NOT going to vote for her. Should have picked a better candidate. We don’t want TPP and endless war.

  3. @sqeeck

I shared your Bernie song tonite live on the Tim Black show – read it cause I cain’t sing. Tim thought it was powerful and the fact that Bernie has brought so many folk together. Maybe I should start a hashtag #Berniemademedoit Seriously, he energized me enough to become a Turley free speech gal and get up, stand up on the table at my local library. It’s all good my friend!! Jill Stein 2016 or Trump 2016

  4. I neglected to add that the correct response to the nonsensical demands of the protest organisers would be to boycott the event entirely.

  5. Many of the posters on this site have apparently elected to spend the next three months engaged in wishful thinking. Mr. Trump will lose the election, of course, and we shall never know whether he would have made the trains run on time.

Oh! It is sooo mean to tease handicapped kids! Sooo, I guess you ain’t voting for Hillary!

When are they going to get those f—ing ree-tards out of here?!”

Those are said to be the infamous words of Hillary Clinton – also known as Arkansas’ “Mother of the Year” in 1984 – when Hillary reportedly grew frustrated that handicapped children weren’t collecting their Easter eggs quickly enough on the lawn of the Arkansas governor’s mansion.

“[T]he children were having a wonderful time. But they were having a v-e-r-y, v-e-r-y, v-e-r-y s-l-o-w time of finding and picking up the Easter eggs,” wrote Dolly Kyle – a childhood sweetheart of Bill Clinton who had a 33-year relationship with him – in her new book, “Hillary the Other Woman: A Political Memoir.”

Kyle recounted the story as told to her by Arkansas State Police troopers and Louise, a mutual friend of both Kyle and the Clintons and a longtime advocate of what was then the Arkansas Association for Retarded Citizens.

“Hillary had enough. She stomped up the grass to the shaded veranda on the back of the mansion … and accosted one of the troopers,” Kyle wrote. “At this point the story diverges a bit. Some people say there was an open microphone; others said that Hillary could be heard across the yard because she was yelling. … At any rate, the frustrated Me-First Lady demanded, ‘When are they going to get those f—ing ree-tards out of here?’”

  7. david m ” That is often the female perspective. Real men look at it differently. We have been ruled by effeminate men for so long, many people can’t handle what a real man in leadership sounds like.” Do you think it makes a man a “real man” if he makes fun of handicapped people as Trump has?

  8. Businessinsider.com editor is a liberal criminal, just like the presidential vagina nominee. CEO and Editor-In-Chief Henry Blodget is a Yale history graduate who had worked on Wall Street until he was charged with securities fraud in 2003. He agreed to a permanent ban from the securities industry, payment of a $2 million fine and disgorgement of $2 million. Deputy editor Nicholas Carlson worked at Internet.com and Gawker Media’s Silicon Valley gossip blog, Valleywag. Senior editor Jim Edwards was managing editor at Adweek. He also worked at the New York Times. . . 😂😂😂

I consider the source of his claims, as I heard Hillary internet supporters were also paid by her campaign to troll Trump supporters, according to Wilileaks.com. I’ve already met one of them, on my friend Kathleen Willey’s Facebook.

  9. Opps!! my bad, I now see a chubby women telling White media to move to the back. Oh well, I guess this is not a paid job ,if so I am sure she will be fired.Wow!! I am really far removed from this generation of Black folks. thankfully, so are my children.

  10. I asm watching this video and have not heard anything about people moving to the back so others can come to the front. I guess I am watching the wrong video because these folks are talking about unity.

  11. @DavidM2575 ~> I totally agree with you. Trumps humor won me over and that he fights back. He doesn’t let the biased press get an inch on him. Why I lost respect for Dubya, he would let the Dems & press just pound him and never fight back. Trump goes after the cesspool of lies and fake that is constantly fed to the public by the Dems and the biased press.

Hillary keeps bringing up the fact that she’s a woman. How can she keep pounding her fist for feminism and use her sex as a qualifier for president. If you disagree, you are labeled a misogynist. The Dems did the same with Obama’s race.

This woman Hillary Clinton is an un-indicted felon and a confirmed liar by the FBI Director. When the Clntons got into office, discourse in political difference prevailed.

Not only would I not believe a word out of Hillary’s mouth, I would never let my daughter do an internship with her husband Bill.

Trump may be bombastic but he’s an accomplished businessman. Donald Trump has been in the public eye for 30 years, hosting his TV shows and he has been on every news show there is! He has a very successful business. Donald Trump is everywhere. Donald Trump’s one of the biggest celebrities in this country and only when he started running for office did he all of a sudden become a racist. For 30 years, nobody called Donald Trump a racist! I like his policy’s.

I’m not with her, I’m with him.

  12. @David

Yeah! SWM is right! Trump should have plagiarized Obama and said something sweeter like:

“We talk to these folks because they potentially have the best answers, so I know who’s ass to kick.”

    or

“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.”

    or

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.”

Personally, I am frightened by Trump’s statements, and I am searching for a safe space to calm down and stop hyperventilating!

    BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

  14. LOL! Trump is so hilarious. This is why people like him. Clearly he is not a politician and will change all that is wrong with government. He is not going to put up with obstructionist politicians.
