The entire community surrounding Arundel High School was traumatized recently when an anonymous person posted a tweet threatening that “We’re planning to attack tomorrow”. What made the tweet particularly menacing was the Twitter account: @KoolkidsKlanKkk. Police launched a full-fledged investigation and has now charged a 14-year-old African-American girl with sending a threatening tweet related to Arundel High School.
A racist petition was also found at the high school from the “Kool Kids Klan”. With the assistance of Twitter, the police tracked down the creator the account. The girl attends the high school and, in a meeting with her parents, admitted to creating the Twitter account and sending the threatening tweet. She is now facing a juvenile citation for disruption of school activities and released to her parents. The school says that other students have been “disciplined” in the matter.
Anne Arundel County Public Schools Superintendent George Arlotto stated that “The anonymity of the internet provides a murky and complex disguise for many who want to threaten the safety and security of our communities. Our partners in the Police Department and county government peeled back that disguise quickly in this case, in the process reassuring parents, students, and staff that our schools are safe places in which to educate our children.”
A juvenile citation is better than other students have faced for pranks (here and here and here).

Not sure why as the word bizarre implies odd, rare, unexpected.
There is nothing “bizarre” about these race hoaxes – they have become so common it’s almost . . . Boring.

I am more concerned with how this school (and others), community leaders, and black leadership is going to handle this situation. This fake tweet hurts all – blacks and whites. The students need to understand this is a serious offense. It is not unlike a girl claiming rape when there was none. It does a disservice to all women as well as the accused. In this case, brings on future claims.
As to sentence, I would hope that the sentence contains some form of retribution on the part of the young girl. She needs to learn that hate is wrong – regardless of who is doing the hating. Perhaps the sentence would involve cleaning up graffiti or damage by BLM or some similar type thing.
Another race merchant…she must be an acolyte of Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson…
