Model Mayhem: Florida Model Arrested After Stomping and Beating Puppy

Keevonna C’Ante Wilson, 24, is a model and actress who, if guilty, is proof that beauty is only skin deep.  I am not sure what it is like being her photographer or her manager but you sure do not want to be her pet, Chasity.  She is charged with animal cruelty after stomping on the puppy.  Appropriately, she appears on the Model Mayhem site, where she refers to her as “The Flawless Beauty.” Wilson   Warning the video below show violence that will be disturbing to many viewers.

Wilson, 24, is shown below in Aventura, Florida stomping and beating her puppy.  The crime was captured on a September 20th security view, according to a police report. Investigators subsequently identified Wilson (seen at left) as the alleged abuser and

The puppy is a Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix that was taken in for examination and medical care after building security staff saw the video.

The “flawless beauty” obviously was referring only to her looks, though she says that her “foundation is to stay focus, stay hungry, and always remain humble.”  She left out homicidal.

Wilson is now charged with felony animal cruelty.

What do you think should be an appropriate sentence for this type of crime?

Here is the Florida law in pertinent part:

828.12 Cruelty to animals.

(a) A person convicted of a violation of this subsection, where the finder of fact determines that the violation includes the knowing and intentional torture or torment of an animal that injures, mutilates, or kills the animal, shall be ordered to pay a minimum mandatory fine of $2,500 and undergo psychological counseling or complete an anger management treatment program.

  1. 500 hours of community service at an animal shelter (supervised at all times of course) , a huge fine, some jail time for sure. What could that little dog have done for her to show such anger? Horrible sub human.

  2. She was in trouble from Day 1 with the ridiculous name her baby mama bequeathed on her. We know there’s a high statistical likelihood (~75%) baby daddy wasn’t around to chime in on it, not that that would have made much difference.

I went to school in Chicago in the era of forced integration by busing. Some of my fellow 4th grade classmates were growing beards and STILL couldn’t spell their own names without help. And those were just some of the girls.

  3. How are charges determined? She kicked the dog repeatedly in one corner of the elevator and when the dog moved to another corner, she repeatedly kicked it there. Fine and anger management and I like the community service of picking up dog poo in city parks, no more pets.

  4. I think I hate her in this moment.

We just lost one of our cattle dogs suddenly and unexpectedly. We’re devastated. I actually threw up repeatedly and couldn’t sleep. I’m longing to have our dog back, and she doesn’t appreciate the dog she’s so lucky to have.

The thing about cattle dogs is that they are tenacious. They are also Cling-On, Velcro dogs who will follow you all day long. I think it’s genetically impossible for a typical Australian Cattle Dog to run away. They have sharp teeth and will fight off any predator who threatens you or yours, but they never use those teeth against those they love. Never.

It is anathema to me that she beat, stomped, and kicked that little fragile puppy. It had teeth, too, and yet it didn’t attack her, even when it was attacked and in great pain. They give people love, but sometimes people give them abuse. They get frustrated because dogs don’t speak English. But the truth is that they just don’t know how to get what they want from the dog.

What did the poor little thing do? Have a potty accident? Did she bark? It’s Wilson’s job to potty train her and teach her not to nuisance bark. Keep her on a leash during the process. Get a dog trainer. But a puppy is a baby. The pup is learning, and at a faster rate than any few month old human. How would Wilson have liked it if she were beaten and broken for wetting the bed as a toddler? Or perhaps she was, and that’s the problem.

A Shit-zu and a Yorkie are both tiny, sweet, fragile-boned dogs. They are bred to be portable companions with a strong affinity for people. This would be like if she lay down and one of my draft horses stomped on her stomach. She could have broken her ribs or caused internal damage. And she traumatized the dog, which could cause behavior issues that could interfere with rehoming her.

I used up some of my dratted dish-limited bandwidth to watch the video. It kills me that the puppy followed her out of the elevator and seemed lost and scared as to what to do next. These little companion dogs are supposed to be brushed and cuddled all day. That’s their job. They comfort their owners and love on them all day. Why not just kick an otter?

I think the vet report would be critical to determining sentencing. She showed callous disregard for the pain and fright she caused her puppy.

  5. What a despicable POS this one is. What did the puppy do ?? Mess up her manicure? I’ve never seen such unrelenting cruelty to a poor innocnet and helpless little creature who couldn’t even run away. When I see someone do this, it makes me think how she would treat another human being??? Remember Donmler?? I’ll bet this won’t be her last offense! Jail time for starters… LONG jail time without nail polish. Then, community service picking up dog poop in a dog park for one year! Just cannot fix stupid or inhumanity. Disgusting! Not human.

  6. Some really good news! I hope Prof. Turley writes about this.

University of Wisconsin approves protest punishment policy

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — University of Wisconsin System leaders approved a policy Friday that calls for suspending and expelling students who disrupt campus speeches and presentations, saying students need to listen to all sides of issues and arguments. . . .

  7. Take that puppy away from her. Sentence: no time in jail. Corporal punishment. Three dog lovers kick around in a small room and make her cry. Sterilize her.

    1. I like the way you think! I’d like to be one of those in the room to work on this demented POS!!

  8. I’d be amused and unsurprised to discover that the postings of David Benson, Ken, Natacha, and FishWings are emanating from just two IP addresses.

      1. David Benson – would you like to show us your work on the four people mentioned and your linguistic analysis?

  9. Darren – why are the comments between me and CV disappearing? Is there a German language filter?

    1. Autumn. There is no filter for the German language. The person using the alias CV Brown was banned from posting by Professor Turley.

      1. Oh, okay – wow banned from posting, Vielen dank Darren for your prompt feedback =)

      2. That’s unusual for the blog. I can’t remember which one was CV Brown. What happened?

      3. One RWNJ gone but dozens (or is it just a couple of losers) to go. Seems less vile than Squeeks, what could he have done?
