Moore Defenses: Judge Turned Down Child Prostitutes In Vietnam And Has Jewish Lawyer

Screen Shot 2017-12-12 at 10.11.56 AM.pngEven as a long-standing critic of Roy Moore, it has been painful to watch the embarrassing defenses of his lawyers, the truly bizarre statements of his spokesman, and defenses of his supporters.  Last night however was like entering a truly twisted alternative universe as Moore’s friend countered multiple claims of Moore’s pursuit of young girls and his wife defended against his alleged anti-Semitism. The proof?  Moore once turned down underaged prostitutes and one of his lawyers is a Jew.  The optics and rhetoric coming from the campaign seem to struggle to fulfill stereotypes like riding to the polls on a horse named “Sassy” as reporters pursue you to answer questions over sexual misconduct.

Moore’s  military buddy refuted the allegations of nine women and a myriad of witnesses with a single story of how they went to a brothel in Vietnam that turned out to be filled with very young girls.  Bill Staehle explained “I  could tell you what I saw, but I don’t want to. There were certainly pretty girls. And they were girls. They were young. Some were probably very young.”  But Moore did not have sex with the girls because ‘That was Roy, honorable, disciplined, morally straight, highly principled.”

Of course, this hardly proves that Moore did not pursue young girls for consensual relationship when he was in his 30s or that other factors (like military regulations and foreign laws) were not a liability. None of this means that Moore is guilty of these allegations, including rape.  I have previously said that I find the women to be quite credible as do many Republicans, including the ranking Republican senator from Alabama.  However, the decision to forego adolescent prostitute in a brothel in Vietnam is a rather bizarre defense to feature at the biggest rally of the campaign the night before the election.

Staehle was followed by Moore’s wife who has been accused of enriching Moore and herself to the tune of roughly $1 million from their religiously based charity The Foundation for Moral Law.  In fairness to Moore, the allegation that we received $180,000 a year for part-time work is troubling but not necessarily unheard of. He was the main source of support for the foundation.  The more troubling element for me is the alleged failure to clearly report the level of money removed from the foundation by the Moore family.

At last night’s rally, Kayla Moore refuted notions of anti-Semitism with the classic “some of my best friends are Jews.” The problem is that Moore has previously said that Jews will go to hell for their rejection of Christ.  The defense again was painful to watch but here it is:

Saying “one of our attorneys is a Jew” is again hardly a rebuttal to Moore’s extremist stated Jews on Jewish people burning in hell.

Once again, I have been honest that my opposition to Moore was complete before these allegations due to his radical views of the Constitution and rejection of core legal principles.  However, I also  believe that it is willful blindness to ignore the scope of alleged victims and witnesses against Moore on pursuing young girls. Some conservatives are engaging in the identical pattern of denial that they previously (and rightfully) ridiculed during the Clinton scandals.  Moore is a moral hazard and today is a test for whether voters will act on moral convictions or political convenience.

9 Things JFK Allegedly Did With That Young Intern

John Kennedy was a pretty randy guy. That’s common knowledge.
Turns out we might not know the half of it.

Mimi Alford was a 19-year-old White House intern when she says she began an affair with President Kennedy. The details of that alleged affair are recorded in her new memoir, “Once Upon A Secret: My Affair With President John F. Kennedy.”

The book claims JFK took Alford’s virginity after giving her a tour of the White House.

According to the New York Post, JFK’s friend Dave Powers allegedly gave Alford several daiquiris to drink at the pool before the president arrived and whisked her away into the White House.

Steamy details of the ensuing sexual encounter follow, including the fact that Kennedy kept his shirt on.

According to Alford, the president had sex with her in Jackie Kennedy’s bedroom.

They only allegedly did it there once though, the first time. After that, she claims they kept their affair to JFK’s bedroom, according to the New York Post.

She says that the president had a kinky side. In talks with Alford, he allegedly tried to get her to tell him naughty things she did as a schoolgirl.

Turns out she went to the same school that Jacqueline Kennedy once attended.

He never kissed on the lips during sex, claims Alford.

“There was always a layer of reserve between us, which may explain why we never kissed,” Alford writes. “The wide gulf between us — the age, the power, the experience — guaranteed that our affair wouldn’t evolve into anything more serious.”

According to the Post, he allegedly made Alford wait in a hotel room for hours until he called for her. Usually, he would only call at night. Alford called this “the Waiting Game.”

Other times, Kennedy allegedly made steps to ensure the affair would be kept secret, according to the New York Post. When Alford told Kennedy she had met Lyndon Johnson, she claims he told her to stay away from the vice president, fearing that Johnson could use his knowledge of the affair to his advantage.

JFK even brought Alford to the White House during the Cuban Missile Crisis, she claims.

“I’d rather my children be red than dead,” he allegedly told Alford at the time, according to the New York Post.

According to the tell-all, JFK allegedly forced Alford to try drugs at a wild party hosted by Bing Crosby.

According to Alford in the New York Post, the drug was amyl nitrate, commonly known as poppers. Allegedly Alford didn’t want to try them but JFK opened a capsule and placed it under her nose. JFK then didn’t try any himself.

The new book says JFK allegedly challenged Alford to perform oral sex on his friend Dave Powers at the White House pool. Alford complied, while Kennedy watched silently.

“It was a dare, but I knew exactly what he meant,” Alford said, according to the New York Post. “This was a challenge to give Dave Powers oral sex. I don’t think the president thought I’d do it, but I’m ashamed to say that I did … ”

At a Democratic fund-raiser, Alford claims JFK suggested that she have sex with his brother, Ted Kennedy. Alford allegedly refused.

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Alford allegedly told Kennedy, according to the New York Post. “Absolutely not, Mr. President.”

    1. OMG, now you’re trying to slam JFK who’s been dead since 1963. Even if what you say is true, which I doubt, what the hell does that have to do with Moore?

      1. Wait, but aren’t we to always believe the women who come forward with their stories? You just said, “Even if what you say is true, which I doubt”…..

Why not question the veracity of the Judge Moore accusers as well? Why not give Judge Moore the same benefit of the doubt?

        I rest my case.

      2. He’s quoting The New York Post. Do you not trust journalists to tell the truth either?

        I rest my case.

      3. Natacha – JFK is just as randy as George said and more. He shared a mistress with his father, Gloria Swanson. And the rumors are he ended up on a PT boat in the Pacific because he got caught bonking an admiral’s wife. He had a cushy job at the Pentagon as an admiral’s aide. It turns out Jackie Kennedy was no slouch herself. She bonked several of Peter Lawford’s friends and maybe her brother-in-law while she was in the WH. She supposedly had a fling with William Holden that would have gone on longer if they could figure out some excuse for him to be in Washington, D.C. longer. And of course, both JFK and RFK bonked Marilyn Monroe. The really sad thing about Marilyn is that she finally had her first orgasm just a few weeks before she died and she didn’t name the guy in her diary. And that from the woman who is famous for the line, “Who do I have to f**k to get off this film?” She also had a lesbian oral encounter with Joan Crawford, who did not bring her to orgasm and reportedly Marilyn refused to reciprocate.

          1. TBob – research when I was teaching film. There are lots of fun stories you can tell the students that keep them interested. 🙂 The stuff on Jackie is fairly new and some of the stuff of Marilyn is fairly new.

              1. TBob – I always tried to tell a story that the students could remember facts around. 🙂 In the film world, everybody has done something. 😉

  2. I just realized. All these people ragging on Alabama You are in violation of Article Four of the Constitution.

  3. Moral democrats supported Bill Clinton for two full terms knowing he was a serial abuser with the first documented event occurring before he was expelled from Oxford in 1969 for an alleged rape of a coed.

    Wiki –

“Bill Clinton has been publicly accused of sexual misconduct by three women: Juanita Broaddrick accuses Clinton of raping her in 1978; Kathleen Willey accuses Clinton of groping her without consent in 1993; and Paula Jones accuses Clinton of exposing himself to her in 1991 and sexually harassing her.

Clinton has…admitted extramarital relationships with Monica Lewinsky and Jennifer Flowers. However, …commentators characterize Clinton’s affair with White House intern Lewinsky as sexual misconduct or harassment…In addition to the three allegations of sexual misconduct, many other women claim to have had consensual adulterous liaisons with Clinton.”

    1. Apparently, it was relatively common for 13 and 14 year-old girls to be married 50 years ago in Alabama.

“The law governing the age of consent has changed dramatically in the United States during this century. Most states codified a statutory age of consent during the nineteenth century, and the usual age was ten years.” [4]

    2. The moral democrat, Hillary Clinton, has conducted a lifetime of covering-up and enabling the illicit and abusive “affairs” of Bill Clinton. Those activities are occasionally referred to in certain settings as aiding and abetting, obstruction of justice, complicity and fraud.

  4. My scenariio guess. Moore will win. IF IF IF there is anything substantial that was withheld or even just made up it will appear in time for the Senate to consider refusal.

Some will think aboot it then think about their re-election in one three or five years. One seat is empty(51) Three retiring Republicans will vote yes (48) Pence wil break the tie.

A reporter will ask about he empty seat. “McCain was incontinent came the answer. But what about the empty seat. “That’s Strange” “I should think so.”)

After much ado about not much the Uranium investigation Fusion will cop to possessing a dossier on those who arranged for certain …. of the …. Brigade to follow a ascripted fabricated story. The payment from the DNC controlled portion of the infamous slush fund was use to hire the ….Brigade.

A Minnesota Senator will admit to the charge and immediately agree to resign but somehow never gets around to it. Four years later……he finally complies stating the DNC slush fund was funded by Clinton’s overseas foundation headquarters curiously enough located in a bank in Curacao owned by George Soros who on his death bed screams out, admits to being a KGB operative the whole time and Chelsea’s handler With his next to last gasp yells the Soviet will never die! “George? his doctor replies it’s been gone since 1992.

    ‘Why didn’t someone tell me?”

  6. Ha. Looks like at least 6 comments have been removed. One was for sure a group criticizing JT on his recent rant catalogue of Moore articles. Was it the D.C. reference he didn’t like? Maybe me pointing out how he knows the importance of the Senate balance?
Turley, I’ve held you in high regard for many years. I don’t think I was wrong for doing so. But you’re really lowering the bar for yourself with all these ridiculous Moore tirades. It’s unseemly (yet expected) when CNN does it; it’s baffling when you do it. We get it… you don’t like Roy Moore. But at least do us a favor and write on the real story. You and I both know it’s not about Moore. Dredging up 40 year old stories that can neither be proven nor refuted is what the political class feeds its lemmings. Is that what you are now? Are you part of the swamp? Maybe getting paid for it? That’s so sad. But I guess everyone has an agenda.

      1. Who posted about heading out to vote? He mentioned carrying a Glock. That was one of the threads now gone. I remember it b/c Alabama is an open carry state.

          1. And I’m certain one of my posts is now gone. I had left the page up while I was working. The count was “41 thoughts…”. When I reloaded the page, it went down to 36.

  7. “‘That was Roy, honorable, disciplined, morally straight, highly principled.”Of course, this hardly proves that Moore did not pursue young girls for consensual relationship when he was in his 30s or that other factors (like military regulations and foreign laws) were not a liability.”

    Character Evidence
    FRE 404(a)(2) a defendant may offer evidence of the defendant’s pertinent trait, and if the evidence is admitted, the prosecutor may offer evidence to rebut it;

While it doesn’t conclusively “prove” that Moore didn’t do the crime, it’s certainly competent evidence supporting the defense that he didn’t.

  8. Turkey continues his lies, as usual. He cannot find a single thing that Roy Moore said that attacked Jews. Turley performs his prevarications by lying about what Moore actually said about billionazi George Soros. Moore said that Soros was going to Hell. Moore said nothing that attacked Jews.

Then, Turley lies yet again by claiming that an attack against Soros is an attack on Jews because Soros “is a Jew” when the opposite is true. Soros is NOT a Jew. Soros is an atheist who hates Jews. And in his youth he enjoyed working for the Nazis to help exterminate Jews.

Soros is also anti-Israel, while Moore is pro-Israel. Moore is a staunch supporter of Israel and has been consistently throughout his career.

Turley, on the other hand, hates Israel and has gladly served as the attorney of Sami Al-Arian, a convicted activist for Islamic terrorism. Thus, if anything, Turley is the anti-Semite as he works to help the enemies of Jews. So that makes three lies that Turley has told.

I hope that Roy Moore wins this election, just so some of the lies against him will die down for a while after the Leftists find out that their lies haven’t worked again. Of course, I’m sure that Turley and the Leftists will merely keep up the lies as they have with Trump, after they recover from their stinging defeat.

  9. I’m sorry but this article had me cracking up as soon as I read the headline. Then when I read the article I was laughing out loud. Way funnier than any SNL skit. Thanks for the belly laughs.

Oh wait…I’m confused….wasn’t this a reprint of an article from The Onion?

  10. Today’s special election is also about whether Alabama can overcome its image as home to racist ignoramuses. That’s the real story today. Moore was supposed to show up to vote riding on a horse with his bug-eyed bottle blondie “friend of a Jew” in tow. If that scenario doesn’t make you cringe, then you have a problem.

    1. It’s image? It’s fun to watch Yank libs look down on everyone else when it’s clear there’s more racism and hate in their own neck of the woods. You remind me of that Pennsylvania fool who decided he would burn a confederate-nazi flag during a Talladega NASCAR race. Mind you, he had never been to Alabama before, and he didn’t know anyone from Alabama, but he felt compelled to demonstrate against his construed racism/hate of Alabamians. And he to construct the flag himself b/c confederates and nazis have nothing to do with one another–but let not facts stop the actions of idiots. He only demonstrated his own ignorance and intolerance.

      1. Did you know that Joe Scarborough of “Morning Joe” graduated from BAMA? This is in contradistinction to that fat A-hole from Goldman Sachs [Banning], who graduated from Harvard, but who is telling the cheering losers at yesterday’s rally that no one tells people from Alabama how to vote. What does that say about his perception of Alabamians?

        1. That’s a poor attempt at trying to change the subject. You called Alabama “home to racist ignoramuses.” You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

          1. The fact that anyone like Moore would even be running for Senate speaks volumes, and not good things. Setting aside the child sexual attraction issues, he was removed from the bench, twice, for refusing to follow federal court orders. Where’s the respect for the so-called “rule of law”? He has said that Jews will be punished for rejecting Jesus, but his buggie-eyed bottle blondie wife says their lawyer is a “Jew”, not a Jewish man, which such people prefer to be called, which she would know if she really were friends with any. He said America was “great” back when there was slavery. Then, there’s Alabama’s civil rights history. The list goes on. As a side bar, Scarborough was excoriated for being an elitist liberal, but, as it turns out, he graduated from college in Alabama. You have fat slob Banning telling Alabamians not to let elitist liberals tell them what to do, when he’s from an elite college and was part of Goldman Sachs. Who’s selling them short, anyway?

            1. Natacha – Alcee Hastings, a currently sitting Congressperson, was one of the few impeached federal judges. He then got himself elected to Congress and has used the “slush fund” to pay for his female problems. Of course, he is a black Democrat and you cannot lose two of them. White Democrats are a dime a dozen. 🙂 And Franken may back out, he is not to be trusted.

              1. Did he also try to molest little girls or try to “date” teenagers when he was in his 30s? BTW: all you Fox fans: where’s the criticism for Hillary for all of this? Seemingly can’t go a day without slamming her and blaming her for something.

            2. Natacha – You cite Judge Moore being removed from the bench for refusing to follow federal court orders as a negative. These were court orders that he found to be unconstitutional — and yet you question his respect for the rule of law? Some see his actions as demonstrating that he is a man of principle and integrity.

Funny, isn’t that what all the Dems were cheering about when Acting AG Sally Yates refused to enforce a legal order? They were applauding her integrity and her courage to stand on principle in defiance of the President. What’s the difference? Moore took a stand just as Sally Yates did. Did you question Sally Yates’ respect for the rule of law as well?

              1. Moore was trying to ram religiosity down the throats of every citizen in Alabama, which the Constitution forbids. People in Alabama, and everywhere else, for that matter, have a right to have NO religious belief. The situation is by no means comparable.

                1. Apparently he didn’t find the order to be ‘wise or just.’ You know, like Sally Yates didn’t find Trump’s legal and constitutional order to be ‘wise or just.’ But she’s a liberal hero and Moore has no respect for the rule of law. Got it.

          2. TMP:
Shame is not in natacha’s repertoire. She likes indicting a whole state for the actions of a few citizens 50 years ago. It’s the radical’s way: vilify then punish the innocent heirs with the sins of their fathers to get them to come to heel. So sorrry, nattie it ain’t working and will never work as long as we have a vibrant 1st & 2nd Amendment.

            1. mespo – Natasha forgets they were all Democrats during the “bad times.”

    2. Natacha:

What makes me cringe is your generalizing about the image of a whole state just because you don’t like what some of its citizens did in the 60s. Your living in the 60s man and your comments reveal the real Bozo here:

    3. Yeah, call them names and then ask those backwards racist ignoramuses to go out and vote for a Democrat. And guess what? In order for Jones to win, the Dems will need to get out the black vote at the nearly the same levels they came out to vote for Barack Obama. Will that happen? Will black voters come out in record numbers to vote for an old white guy noone has ever heard of before this special election? That is the real story today.

  11. Yesterday my friend in Texas gave me this info. Please forgive me for passing it along.

#1: “They say the weather in Alabama may affect the outcome of the election.”
    #2: “Really? How’s that?”
#1: “They say it may ‘dip in to the teens…’ “

  12. So Alabama elects Moore; the Senate runs him out on ethics violations, or something of the sort. Then what? Does the governor and/or state legislature then select his replacement? Sounds a lot like the coup to oust President Trump. I’m not seeing the downside for conservatives. we will have so much winning if I get elected, that you may get bored with winning.

    1. If T rump leaves you get da Pence. If Moore leaves you get da Strange back. Win win for non pervs conservatives.

  13. “Moore’s military buddy refuted the allegations of nine women and a myriad of witnesses with a single story of how they went to a brothel in Vietnam that turned out to be filled with very young girls. …. But Moore did not have sex with the girls because ‘That was Roy, honorable, disciplined, morally straight, highly principled.””

It is a relief to know that Moore only has sex with adult prostitutes.

  14. Well, he has been called everything but a flaming cross-dressing homosexual during this campaign, so I would dump out the kitchen sink, too. It is in the hands of the voters of AL now and may God bless them all, except those who vote for Jones. 😉

    1. “Well, he has been called everything but a flaming cross-dressing homosexual during this campaign …”
      ********************

That’s an accolade in lots of leftist circles. They’d never call him that.

    2. Why would they call a homophobe such a thing? I think “homophobe” is enough.

Plus he’s signed more high-school yearbooks at 30 than high-schoolers in high school.

  15. So far he needs no defense. But if he did his best defense is not one law enforcement officer nor any DA has accepted the complaints as legitimate enough to warrant any action.

So today is the day when voters will constitute their own jury and decide on supporting the Constitution or the scribblings of Marx, Lenin, Carville, Jones and the Progessively Regressive foreign ideology they represent

    1. There haven’t been any prosecutions because deadlines have expired & 16 is legal in Alabama.

    1. Not one law enforcement officer. Not One DA has found enough to pursue the matter. Not one attorney general not one judge. NONE.

        1. Would someone please fact check the above? I carefully read the first half of the superbly written WaPo story breaking this news, but more quickly scanned the last half. IIRC he may still possibly be charged for at least one of the alleged crimes. One woman well describes 31 or 32 year old Roy picking her up in his car and driving her to his home to have sex (they only kissed and he put her hand on his private part). She was 14 or 16 (there are so many women telling similar story). The penalty for his actual alleged act was 2 or 3 years maximum, but for driving her to his home with his alleged plan, the penalty is up to 10 years…In Alabama Roy’s alleged plan was worse than his alleged act with the victim. Go figure…

I admit that the stories appear highly credible that Roy exhibited keen interest in women as young as 14 when he was in his 30s. I presume Alabama in the 70s/80s is one of the few places where someone could get away with his activities.

Men of that age are interested in women of that age because the men are extremely weak, flaccid, and insecure. Roys of the world avoid relationships with peers because they believe (apparently rightly) the men have nothing to offer them.

As I wrote here before, Roy’s opinions of Jews going to hell is what most “evangelicals” believe. So that’s hardly news. Roy is just stupid enough to admit it publicly. Such persons also often believe when Christ comes again (so-called “futurism,” one of the biggest lies in all quasi-Christendom AKA Zionist Christianity) he even rebuilds the OT Temple to bring back animal sacrifice. “Futurism” is the sole source of evagelical interest in Israel, a nation of zero national interest to the USA. Weaponized Muslims (nothing radical about them) got nothing on these dangerous delusional evangelicals. Allegedly, so the doctrine goes, Jews get one last chance to convert when Jesus returns, and those that don’t go straight to hell in a hand basket, do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

I totally get Turley’s disgust with Roy. But I can’t square Turley’s public scorning of Roy while Turley is silent on putrid and disgusting Congresscritters like Maxine Watters, an outright racist pig, and Turley’s apparent approval of 60M dead Americans at the hands of abortion butchers. If a zygote is not a human being, please explain exactly what differentiates your humanity from the zygote’s?

    2. “This just in. Early returns show a pattern similar to last November…..” I got that by polling the only person who counts. Me.

      1. (,….
-One of the more surprizing things is the statement ( very recent) by the Alabama Sec. of State that he expects a voter turnout in the 20-25% range.
That seems low for any special election when a Senate seat is at stake, but exceptionally low in this particular race.
It’ll be interesting to see if the turnout actually falls into that 20-25% range.
The Alabama voter turnout was about 65% in the Nov.2016 general election, so the state’s voters don’t seem to be apathetic.

        1. Tom Nash – special elections usually have lower turnout, so the numbers may be right. However, it is going to be who can turn out the voters today.

          1. Paul C. Schulte,…
Exactly. And if the voter turnout is actually that low (20-25%), the impact of even a small boost in the numbers of a candidate’s base showing up at the polls is magnified.
So Doug Jones is hoping for a large turnout by Blacks, younger voters ( especially women voters), etc.
Moore needs a boost from the pro-Trump group, evangelicals, etc.
And from this JT column it appears that Moore is also targeting his Jewish and Vietnamese “base”.😄

        2. The estimated voter turnout in the Alabama election is 38%.
I don’t know how the Alabama Sec. of State arrived at his 20-25% forecast of voter turnout.

          1. “I don’t know how the Alabama Sec. of State arrived at his 20-25% forecast of voter turnout.”

            Higher mathematics in Alabama?
            Republican math?

Actually they really do have rocket scientist down there – at least in the Huntsville area.

Since some of the Alabama population can reliably add and subtract, it may be harder for the GOP to pull off its tax and budget scam.

  16. Well, the headline to this article could have read: “Fellow Combat Veteran Calls Moore ‘Honorable, Disciplined, Morally Straight, Highly Principled’,” or “Moore’s Legal Team is Inclusive.” But, it says what is says.
