Hillary Clinton Again Claims That She Lost Because White Women Are Controlled By Their Husbands

Hillary_Clinton_Testimony_to_House_Select_Committee_on_BenghaziWe have previously discussed how Clinton has compiled  a long list of people responsible for her loss to Donald Trump with the notable exception of herself.  This includes her explanation (and her supporters) that it was not Clinton but self-hating, misogynistic women who could not vote for any woman for President.  Despite the criticism over her past statements and additional polls showing that she remains hugely unpopular with many voters (and would still lose to Trump), Clinton continues to blame others for her loss.  In a speech at the India Today Conclave, Clinton repeated her view that white women are under the thumb of their husbands and vote as they dictate.

Clinton told the Indian audience that white men and women were set against her:

 

“[Democrats] do not do well with white men and we don’t do well with married, white women. And part of that is an identification with the Republican Party, and a sort of ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes you should.”

She also repeated her claim that former FBI Director James Comey cost her the election by stopping her momentum and decreasing her vote.

Before the establishment all but anointed Clinton as their candidate in the primary, polls clearly showed that the voters did not want an establishment figure so the DNC worked to guarantee the nomination to the ultimate establishment figure. However, it clearly goes deeper than that.  Even against one of the most unpopular figures in history (Trump was even worse at 63 percent unfavorability), Clinton could not even maintain a majority of women with favorability ratings.  I believe that voters are willing to elect a woman and I do not believe that the last election was decided by self-hating women. There was ample reason to vote against Clinton who was not just the ultimate establishment figure but was dragging a long chain of controversies stretching back to her time as the First Lady of Arkansas.

      Anyways, this idiom goes back to at least the year 1859, as a written form of it is in the Watchman And Wesleyan Advertiser newspaper from London. There’s an article from the newspaper that reads:

      “It was notorious that Mr.Bright was dissatisfied with his winter reform campaign and rumor said that
      he had given up his effort with the exclamation that it was like flogging a dead horse.”

      So the idiom originated with a “Mr. Bright” who was opposed to “flogging a dead horse. By what antithetical name ought we to call our host who is clearly and distinctly in favor of “flogging a dead horse”???

Without Hillary Clinton to flog in 2020, Trump stands precious little chance of securing the Republican nomination for president in 2020, let alone being reelected to a second term. Trump is a one-term lame-duck president. And flogging Crooked H will not get Trump across the finish line before his opponent(s).

  8. Liberals have a childish and cartoonish view of things. They see Conservatives in like only two dimensions, like some kind of caricature. Military people are all little marching martinettes. People with guns and Bibles are “bitter clingers”, who are apt to join up with a mob and start lynching non-whites. And there stand the Liberals,, the protectors of all the poor defenseless people. . .

    It is a childish fantasy. But, they reason like children, with their emotions and little else. Hillary, a conservative, is sooo used to speaking to liberals that she has fallen into those same bad habits. I think maybe now, it is no longer a choice for her. She has been doing it sooo long, that she now believes it.

  17. How can Hillary not understand that the interests of white women are completely intertwined with those of white men? White women didn’t vote for her for the same reason white men didn’t vote for her; because HC doesn’t like working class white people. And since about 90% or more of white women are going to have white husbands, sons, brothers, fathers and whole extended white families, you can’t really separate the interests of white women from other white people. When white men are discriminated against in employment and education, their wives and mothers feel that discrimination as well. Very few white women are Yale educated lawyers. Most are far more economically and culturally aligned with their families than someone in Hillary’s position. I have a strong feeling that Hillary doesn’t know any working class white women, or she would have figured this out by now.

        There is substantial evidence that Hillary Clinton is a liar, sells her political favors, is corrupt, and she tried to defraud voters by trying to release a spurious dossier she paid Russian agents to obtain, right before the election.

        On the other hand, there is substantial evidence that President Donald Trump has repeatedly cheated on his former wives, and may have cheated on his current wife, and that he lacks tact in his Tweets and other statements. Sometimes he says mean things to both men and women. And that’s bad, rude even.

However, Hillary Clinton lied about having multiple illegal email servers, on which she illegally stored classified information, which she illegally backed up to the Cloud, where it was backed up by people with zero security clearance, and was available to any hacker who strolled on by. It was a video. I wiped it with a cloth. Take hammers to your laptops, people. Double Bill’s speaking fee to Russia during Uranium One. A $12 million donation to her foundation was tied to her appearance. We were dead broke. Drag a dollar through a trailer park and you never know what you’ll turn up. Bimbo eruptions. Orgy Island.

        1. You’re way off on some of your facts. Whether you believe anything in the dossier or not (nothing has been disproved and much has been verified). It was not released before the election and had no impact whatsoever. It was released by Buzzfeed prior to the Inauguration which is kind of a big difference.
          The suggestion that Trump’s misdeeds are limited to being a serial cheater and using bad language shows you’re paying little attention to his financial dealings in Panama, Toronto, Florida, New York, Indonesia and elsewhere. There is reasonable public information he has already paid people to keep quiet about his lapses, proving him a candidate for blackmail from multiple sources. He has publicly supported child supporters and wife beaters. The administration is churning with turnover daily (including of course today). The one thing Tillerson did as Secretary of State was to accurately call Trump a moron.

Therefore, the dossier isn’t important because at some point the media reported the content. Rather, the dossier is important because it was used to support a FISA warrant that in turn backed up the “insurance policy”.

            1. Andrew – Karen made a statement about the Dossier being released just before the election to influence the result which was untrue, that’s what my response was to.
              The Dossier was opposition research that proved so concerning that former MI-6 agent took it directly to the FBI for them to vet. It contained now known to be true information about Trump associates (Manafort, Papadopoulos, Page, Trump Jr, Kushner and now Prince) that had clandestine meetings with Russian officials which they have all lied about at one time or another. Most to the public, some to the FBI, and at least one (Prince) to Congress. The Dossier also reported Trump’s interest in a real estate deal in Moscow and we later learned of Cohen’s attempt to float Trump Tower Moscow.

              There was a salacious report of Trump, hookers, and golden showers at the Ritz in Moscow where it is known that Trump did stay, was offered hookers according to bodyguard Shiller but there is no proof it occurred. The Dossier also reported Trump’s vulnerability to blackmail which is one way you could look at his payoff to Stormy Daniels who was preparing to release a major interview about the affair before the election. Some of that last part wasn’t in the Dossier but yes I do have an understanding of what it was and what was in it.

              The Clinton campaign was somehow unaware of what Steele had compiled and Robbie Mook said he definitely would have used it had he known.
