High Anxiety: Clinton Raises New Explanation For Lewinsky Affair

It is the one defense that Harvey Weinstein did not argue in his recent trial: I was just working out my stress. The new documentary on Hillary Clinton has been panned by many as yet another attempt to rewrite history for the Clintons. However, few expected Bill Clinton to come up with yet another explanation for the affair that led to his impeachment. Clinton explained in an interview that it was all an effort “manage my anxieties.” The problem is that his anxiety management included committing perjury as well as recently disclosed alleged witness tampering. He was of course never charged with perjury despite a court later saying that he clearly lied under oath. Of course, he would never lie to Hulu.

Clinton added that that he thought “there’s something that will take your mind off it for a while.” Of course, he also omits a long list of women who have accused him of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and rape as both Arkansas Governor and as President. That goes back decades and, with each woman, the Clintons crushed the accusers, including Hillary Clinton referring to them as “bimbos.”

None of that was apparently relevant in this “documentary” which seems like four-hour exploration of historical revisionism.

However, it must be a great anxiety reliever.

  1. Well, as a treatment for anxiety, at least it doesn’t require a prescription as do the anti-anxiety products from big pharma! (Depending on who one is doing it with and their past history, though, one might need a different type of prescription afterwards! I wonder if ol’ Bill ever did?)

  2. I only wish that SOMEone would explain to me just why do the Clinton’s always get a pass? They are despicable.
What makes them despicable is the way they are always blaming their victims. Then they take any and all actions to destroy their accusers – not to mention how many have disappeared.

  3. The Clinton’s, as with all arrogant, egotistical leftist Neo-liberals, it’s ALWAYS someone else’s fault. It must be amazing to be a Leftist, never doing anything wrong!

  4. To Bill, Hillary, the DNC… women are widgets, mere tools, for their evil machinations. They never cared about them, about victims of rape or anyone

You know what’s absolutely unbelievable? Hulu allowing a low life sexual predator to talk about blow job therapy and no one has the “guts” to say….. Can you tell us why you sexually assaulted and raped women? Hulu’s Clinton doc is pure GARBAGE.

Yes Netflix went off the air as soon as I heard about the Obamas. Dead for me and many others. Netflix caters to the lowest rating shows ever. So sad, I used to like them.

  5. The Left always defends Bill “Bubba Rapist” Clinton’s sexual predations.

Some people take tranquilizers for anxiety, but not Bill Clinton
Many of us vividly remember 1998, when Bill Clinton shook his finger at Americans while earnestly declaiming, “I didn’t have sexual relations with that woman” (commonly remembered as, “I did not have sex with that woman”). That statement was a lie. Although stopping short of actual sexual intercourse, Bill Clinton had all sorts of sexual relations with the much-younger Monica Lewinsky. It was inexcusably sordid and, worse, Clinton used the Oval Office for these escapades.

Twenty-two years later, Bill is finally explaining what drove him to defile the Oval Office in this way, and his explanation is a doozy: He was stressed.

Bill Clinton claims that his affair with Monica Lewinsky was one of the ‘things I did to manage my anxieties’.

The former President suggests, in an explosive documentary seen by DailyMailTV, that he had the fling with the ex-White House intern while he was in office because it helped with his own issues.

Bill reveals that at the time he met Lewinsky the pressure of the job made him feel like a boxer who had done 30 rounds and he looked at Lewinsky as ‘something that will take your mind off it for a while’.

‘Because there, whatever life – not just me. Everybody’s life has pressures and disappointments, terrors, fears of whatever.

‘Things I did to manage my anxieties for years. I’m a different, totally different person than I was, a lot of that stuff 20 years ago,’ he said.

Bill did not explain exactly what he was referring to, but Pulitzer-prize winning journalist Lucinda Franks has claimed that in 1999 Hillary told her Bill confessed that his mother abused him as a boy and caused him to become a sex addict.

That last paragraph is way too much information. Also, talk about a dehumanizing way to refer to a young woman whose life he destroyed. Lewinsky was “something that will take [his] mind off” of work for a while. While Lewinsky thought she had a relationship, Clinton thought he had a compliant human substitute for a Valium.

Bill and Hillary also talk in the documentary about the way he lied to Hillary and then finally told her the truth, and the difficult task of telling eighteen-year-old Chelsea what had happened. The bit about telling Chelsea rings true.

It’s all so terribly sordid. One can only be grateful that Bill Clinton didn’t get another chance, in 2016, to live in the White House.

Meanwhile, the other women Bill used and abused were not buying his excuses:

Paula Jones agreed wholeheartedly with the points Broaddrick made:

Next time you hear a woman attack Donald Trump because he made the factually correct statement that, when you’re a billionaire, women let you get away with sexually aggressive behavior, remind them of a time when they willingly gave Bill Clinton a pass for rape, sexual harassment, and wildly inappropriate workplace conduct. Double standards, anyone?

  6. Republicans Embark On Hunter Biden Investigation While Oblivious To Nepotism In White House

Because they are deeply concerned about the family members of powerful officials using their positions for private gain, Senate Republicans have begun an investigation into Jared Kushner’s windfall sale of his stake in a real estate company, a stake that increased in value from $5 million to between $25 million and $50 million after the company took advantage of tax breaks Kushner himself lobbied for.

Kidding! Of course they’re not investigating that. They are, however, ramping up their investigation into Hunter Biden, now that Joe Biden looks like he might be the Democratic nominee. Yet they insist that their investigation has nothing to do with helping President Trump get reelected, an assertion they somehow manage to make without bursting out in uncontrollable giggles.

  7. Well, let me try to do an Irish Poem for Bill Clinton! Hmmm. Sex takes care of his anxiety. And there’s nothing else he could do. . . No, I don’t think so!

There once was a fellow named Bill –
As to sex, he could not get his fill!
    He said that “Sex serves
    To calm my poor nerves!”
“And it’s safer than taking a pill!”

  8. Harvey Weinstein was just managing his anxieties, as well. He just got caught sooner.

  9. Hulu agreed to stream this hagiography of Hillary Clinton because of the allegedly immense footage the Clintons had of Mr. Clinton’s Presidential terms and Mrs. Clinton’s two failed attempts to gain that office. I have not seen it, nor will I. Hulu just joined Netflix on a short list of Websites I’ll never use nor visit again.

I find it curious that the Federal Elections Commission obsesses on relatively small improprieties such as Dinesh D’Souza’s transfer of campaign funds to a friend’s Congressional campaign (for which he served time) while overlooking massive donations of airtime in highly political programming by Big Media and comparatively huge shuttling of campaign funds in improper ways by leftist politicians..

  10. My anxiety would be reduced if we got rid of the horrible Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Gerald Nadler and now, top of the list of “deplorable Dems” Chucky Schumer. Anyone care to start a Go Fund Me page?

  11. It’s not a contest but why is no one talking about Bush & Cheney? In early 2001, about 6 months before 9/11. Qwest CEO Joseph Nacchio claimed he was coerced by the Bush DOJ to perform warrantless wiretapping (a felony). We were not at war during this time. Nacchio claims he refused to be an accessory to the Bush felonies and was then sent to prison for a few years. After release from prison, Nacchio still claimed he was sent to prison for not participating in the Bush felony scheme. Reminder: FISA [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] is the “exclusive” legal path (One and only legal path) a president can follow. FISA is a Nixon era reform to prevent felony warrantless wiretapping. Although there is no “terrorism-exemption” to the U.S. Constitution (a wartime governing charter), this alleged pattern of felonies was about 6 months before 9/11. To my knowledge, no FBI or DOJ leaders was interested in enforcing the laws back then. Why do the Bush guys get left out of these things?

  12. Hillary changing her name to Hillary Hoff according to one story. Bubba did the same thinking it was a Lewinski moment. The latter has been doing vacuum commercials while Lorena is doing Ginsu commercials John checked in with a Snap On route. Will Hillary become Jill ery next? None of these was verified. I was practing to imitate a Democrat candidate.

  13. Bill Clinton is only speaking publicly again because Jeffrey Epstein is dead; like so many victims of Arkancides. That was a close one, wasn’t it, Bill? Bill Clinton is the textbook example of a narcissist rationalizing his own acts and existence. Hillary has been eaten alive by her psychotic need for and pursuit of power, and her failure to obtain it.

“Political power grows out of the barrel of the gun…”

    – Mao Tse-tung

    1. “Textbook example of a narcissist rationalizing his own acts.” You nailed it. How come so few people, including the media, seem to get this? I cannot believe Bill is out there again, victimizing Monica Lewinsky. The Clintons are the Rasputins of our time.

      1. redspeck – there is relatively new book on Rasputin which has a whole different take on him. It is based on files that were available in that brief period when the KGB files were opened. Think the book was published in 2017 or 2018. Well worth the read.

  14. ROFLMAO! Clinton had a history of lechery dating back to his teens. Dolly Kyle, who was close friends with him in their teen years, said he had a pickup truck with artificial grass on the floor of the bed. (She had an affair with him later while he was governor.) When he was in the White House, he, just like JFK, was a horny middle-age man who took advantage of his notoriety.

  15. Bill Clinton confessing = The Epstein files are gone, never to be seen. Probably buried with Vince Foster.

  16. sex is an instinctual way to manage anxiety. this is a well known phenomenon, observed long before psychologists began doing talk therapy about it. men in leadership positions are known to “relax” in much the same way bill clinton did

the country could be done a big favor by legalizing sex work and then he could have “relaxed” in a way that was less harmful to other people.

bill clinton’s sexual escapades are not consequential to what’s happening now

    1. Sexual predation is only incidentally about sex. Mostly, it’s about exerting power over others, from back-alley rapes to Clintonian excesses with underage girls in the Caribbean.

Hulu burnished their political idols and never intended to create a searching historical study. The Clintons offered them many hours of campaign and documentary footage with massive strings attached. So, we’ll never know, from watching Hulu how Jeffrey Epstein entertained Bill Clinton, nor why so many feminists overlook Hillary Clinton’s own misogyny (she coined the term “bimbo eruptions”) and enabling of her husband’s predation on other women.

As alert as PBS’ “Frontline” and “News Hour” are to Trump’s missteps, you’d think they’d have spared time for a documentary on the mysterious death of Jeffrey Epstein – and to demand answers. But PBS tolerated Charlie Rose’s exploitation of women in their own house, and only dropped him when he was #metoo’ed.

    2. Yeah RIGHT! Couldn’t you just see this Breaking News Today The President of the US had a “relaxing’ moment. Film at 11.
      What a jerk.
